  • How to set the priority for Commit Server?

    Hi all,
    I want to know how to set up the priority for committing documents.
    I'm having two different odc applications and i want to commit documents belongs to one application (URGENT) as soon as it has complete the indexing. (I'm running commit server every second for this (URGENT) application).
    But once the commit server start to commit batches belongs to one application it continues until finishes, and then only it switch to the URGENT application even though indexed documents are there.I have tested with batch priority, Batch status fields in commit server.
    What is exactly happen in setting batch priority ?
    How do i switch commit serve to run urgent batches (which is belongs to another application) as soon as indexed??
    I can use ODC or ODDC.
    Thank You.....

    Don't worry - I'm more think aloud, so it is more a hypothesis than a solution.
    You write that
    We are using ODC to Index the documentsWhat exactly does this mean? If it means that a user types in metadata values, then you could take a look whether those metadata are needed for the item to be checked in (like the mentioned security group), or whether it is "other" metadata (e.g. supplier, invoice number, etc.) that you could, in theory, fill in in your application in IPM - imagine that you use IPM to check in the document and all you have is a TIFF.
    Btw. you also write that
    (we) use Input agent to sent documents to IPMI thought that ODC (Commit Profile) does this work for you, or not? If you use ODC to commit to a disk, and Input agent to get it from a disk to IPM, how about using a direct commit profile to IPM?

  • How to set the priority of my AEIO?

    It seems that my AEIO has a lower priority than the original one, which causes some errors.
    (*.flv files)
    How to lift the priority?

    if i understand you correctly, you're writing an AEIO for a format (flv)
    which is already supported by AE.
    the SDK doesn't support that. AE will ignore AEIOs that associate to format
    it's already handling.
    what's your end game? i'd bet you really need to do what you do, so perhaps
    we could strategize.

  • Setting the Priority on a Process/Application

    Actually aksed this question in the Foundation discussion group but think it is better suited here...
    Hi
    I have a JBoss turnkey install of LiveCycle ES2 in production. One of the applications runs a large batch job in the evenings. This all works fine, however, I also have some adhoc applications that could -- at the same time -- be invoked. I would like to give priority to those adhoc processes over the batch process. Is this possible?
    Thank you

    Hi,
    You need to fully qualify the calendar as it's not at the same context level as the process flow:
    OMBALTER PROCESS_FLOW 'LOAD_COUNTRY_PF' SET PROPERTIES(REFERRED_CALENDAR) VALUES('*/MY_PROJECT/CAL_MODULE/*RUN_AT_10')
    or use a relative reference:
    OMBALTER PROCESS_FLOW 'LOAD_COUNTRY_PF' SET PROPERTIES(REFERRED_CALENDAR) VALUES('*../../CAL_MODULE/*RUN_AT_10')

  • Workflow: Setting the high priority flag

    Hi,
    Does any one know how to set the priority for the email notification?
    (Eg: In microsoft outlook red exclamatory mark for high priority)
    I tried the option priority in notification and message but its not giving the desired output(i.e Flag).

    I know you can set the priority on the task.
    If you click on the User step and go under Routes and Priority, you can change the priority and you will see a different icon in Workspace.
    I'm not sure this will change the priority on the email though.

  • Setting the email priority (X-priority) of an LC ES generated email.

    Hi,
    I don't see anywhere under the 'Task Notification' section of the LC ES admin UI where one can set the priority of the email. We need some of these to be sent out with a high priority.
    Techincally, I know it involves setting a mail message header along the lines of 'X-Priorty' with a value of '1'.
    Does anybody know how to do this ?
    Thanks

  • Dynamically change the Priority Group of Logical Table Sources in OBIEE 11g

    Hi All,
    I have 2 Logical Table Sources(LTS 1 and LTS 2 for a Logical Table in BMM Layer).
    Example: Logical Table : Sample
    LTS Source 1 : Sample 1(Priority Group Set to 1)
    LTS Source 2 : Sample 2(Priority Group Set to 0)
    I have set the Priority Group of Sample 1 LTS Source to 1 and Priority Group of Sample 2 LTS Source to 0.
    I need to dynamically change the Priority Group of Sample 1 LTS Source to 0 if my role is DEVELOPER where role is a column in database.
    If my role is not equal to DEVELOPER then the Priority Group of Sample 1 LTS Source will remain same(1).
    Please suggest how can i achieve this.
    Thanks,

    hello Soukath Ali,

  • HTML_DB.SEND - how to set a priority

    I use the HTML_DB.SEND in a trigger to automatically generate email when the system runs into certain conditions. Is there any way to set the priority of these emails to "HIGH"? It appears that the priority option is not available in HTLM_DB.
    Please advise.
    Using APEX 4.1 (soon 4.2). Oracle 11g.
    Sample code:
    <== CODE
    HTMLDB_MAIL.SEND(
    P_TO => send_mail_to,
    P_CC => send_mail_cc,
    P_BCC => send_mail_bcc,
    P_FROM => MAIL_FROM,
    P_BODY => l_emailbody,
    P_BODY_HTML => l_emailbody,
    P_SUBJ => subject_line);
    ==>
    Thank you in advance.

There is no support for this in <tt>apex_mail</tt>. You would have to use <tt>utl_mail</tt> or <tt>utl_smtp</tt>, both of which come with their own restrictions/complications.

  • How to set send priority in code

    Hi,
    In Thunderbird, I know how to (using code) create an email, and add an attachment to it, and send it, but I want to be able to set the priority to "high" using code. Is this possible?
    TIA.

    Priority is ignored in almost all mail clients, so why set it? Delivery does not get any faster

  • How do I set the JMSPriority?

    Hi All,
    I'm trying to set the JMSPriority on a message to 7. I know that you have to use the MessageProducer class but I can't get it to work correctly for me. Once I create the producer and set the priority, I then can't send the message.
    Here's my code, any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks
    // Initialize JNDI.
    Context context = new InitialContext();
    // Lookup the connection factory using
    // JNDI.
    TopicConnectionFactory topicConnectionFactory
         = (TopicConnectionFactory)context.lookup("UIL2ConnectionFactory");
    // Use the connection factory to create
    // a JMS connection.
    topicConnection = topicConnectionFactory.createTopicConnection();
    // Use the connection to create a
    // session.
    TopicSession topicSession = topicConnection.createTopicSession(false, session.AUTO_ACKNOWLEDGE);
    // Lookup the destination (topic) using
    // JNDI.  Note that the designated
    // destination (MyTopic) must be
    // administered within the JMS service
    // environment.
    Topic topic = (Topic)context.lookup("topic/MyTopic");
    // Create a message publisher.
    TopicPublisher topicPublisher = topicSession.createPublisher(topic);
    // Create a text message, and send it.
    TextMessage message = topicSession.createTextMessage();
    message.setText("This is a TextMessage");
    topicPublisher.publish(message);

    Hi
    There are two ways of setting the JMS priority on a message. Either on the message producer level:
    messageProducer.setPriority( 7 );
    or at message production time:
    messageProducer.send( textMessage, Message.DEFAULT_DELIVERY_MODE, 7, Message.DEFAULT_TIME_TO_LIVE);
    If it doesnt work you should register a bug with your JMS provider.
    Note that in order to receive messages the connection has to be started.
    Hope it helps

  • Is it possible to set a priority to a SP or an event?

    Hello, all
    I have a background background process (a stored procedure), which is lengthy and sometimes resource consuming.
    However, it is nowhere near critical for speed, so if it were a regular windows process, I would have launched it with low priority.
    My question is, can I start a process in SQL Anywhere, which would clear itself from CPU if other request come in?
    Thank you
    Arcady

    Hi Arcady,
    You can execute
    SET TEMPORARY OPTION priority = 'BACKGROUND';
    as the first line of the stored procedure. This will mark entire connection as a background priority task (similar to setting a processes priority in Windows).
    When the stored procedure is completed, you'll want to make sure you set the priority back to a normal level. If the procedure is triggered in an event, this method will still be effective. When an event is fired it has an internal connection created for it.
    Although we do not completely remove the task from the CPU (I imagine this could lead to some deadlocks), we ensure it gets significantly less CPU time then other connections.
    Hope this helps,
    Mikel

  • Can I sort reminders by priority? Can I even see the priority in list form?

    I'm trying to work in the new Reminders App. I've set the priority for the various reminders, but there is no visual clue in the date list what that priority is. I'd be happy with a way to arrange them, or a way to sort them by priority, or any method for prioritizing my list. Is there really not a way to do this?

    You might do better to make a playlist with the music you want on your iPod rather than the check boxes. Then you set your iPod to sync to your playlist.
    You could use either a regular playlist or a smart playlist which opens up may intersting possibilites.
    But to answer you question, you can only do this indirectly. You can make a smart playlist that includes only checked items. Then you can make a second smart playlist that lists items not in the first playlist.
    Playlist1
    mach following rule:
    Date added after 01/01/1900 (just there to select everthing)
    Match only checked items checked.
    Live updating checked
    Playlist2
    Match following rule:
    Playlist is not playlist1
    Match only checked items NOT checked
    Live updating checked

  • How to set the EKET-FIXKZ directly?

    If you make in transaction ME38  manual changes to a line of a scheduling agreement delivery schedule that was created via the materials planning process or if you create a scheduling line manually the EKET-FIXKZ will be set to 'X'. Alternativly you can use BAPI_SAG_CHANGE. If you transfer a changed quantity to a item line the EKET-FIXKZ will be set too.
    I have to set certain scheduling line to EKET-FIXKZ = 'X' and at later times to EKET-FIXKZ = space (and vice versa).
    I should not use "UPDATE EKET SET FIXKZ = 'X'.".
    Does anybody know a way to change the EKET-FIXKZ directly with standard functions?

    Hi,
    The initial entry point Navigation Node after first login is the Navigation Node with lowest Sort priority number.
    The sort priority of a Navigation Node can be between 0 and 100.
    So value 0 means priority undefined, so you can use from 0.1 till 100 to set the priority, where 0.1 will be the first node that will be shown after first login. Ofcourse you can also use 1 till 100, no need to break down to decimals.
    From NW7.0 SP14 there is also a new feature which sorts Navigation Node Alphabetically, so you can also define this setting, which then can be combined with sort priority.
    Check this how to Define the Sort Sequence of Navigation Nodes:
