Set time restriction for specific user to send email via exchange server

Is it possible with Exchange server to limit certain users to sending their mail (Outlook/Exchange) only between designated
times? Thanks.

"Resend" option is not working for specific user. "The Operation Failed" Exchange 2010 Outlook 2013

Hi Everybody. I have a weird one for you.
I have a user that gets an "operation failed" message whenever trying to use the "resend" option on any email (It's the one right under recall). I had tested up and down on her machine. Exchange 2010 Outlook 2013
Ran in safe mode, recreated her profile, disabled virus scanning, repaired office. (weird, the font just changed sizes on me)
After all of this I tested on other computers, other users seem to be able to "resend" just fine. However her account does not work on any computer I try, internal or external to the network.
It looks more like a profile issue.
She's a very active archivist, so she only has 486MB of space used by her mailbox.
It's well under quota.
It's been really puzzling me.

Since there is only one user in the org has this issue, it seems an issue on the Outlook client side.
I suggest asking Outlook Forum for help so that we can get more professional suggestions.

However I also have some suggestions for your reference:
1. If this issue occur on Cached Mode, I suggest turning to Online Mode for testing.
2. Please also paste the detailed error message if "operation failed" is not the
complete information.
3. If still not works after perform operations above (including suggestions from Outlook Forum), I suggest re-creating a new mailbox for the specific user just as Martin suggested.

Applications can't send email via exchange

We are running exchange 2007 and 2013. Some applications such as Symantec Backup Exec and Piceswork can't send the notification to our internal users and external users. I tried to add the server IP addresses to the relay, but that doesn't fix the problem.

Send email with exchange server

I am able to receive email on my phone through my work MS exchange server, but I can not send. Others using different phones (IPHONE) are able to receive and send. Any suggetions?

I would have to agree with bearone21, double check your server settings with your IT department. More importantly, check the outgoing settings. Confirm the settings are correct in the phone.

Is there anyone else at your place of business that has a Droid? Are they having the same problem sending email?
If you need to, you can remove the email address from the Droid X and set it up again.

I have a MacBook pro OS X 10.9.2 and I am unable to send emails through Mail (I have an exchange account). Everything was working well until yesterday: I could send and receive emails through my exchange account using Mail. I can still receive all my messages but I can't send anything now.
My internet connexion is fine, and I am able to connect to my exchange account on internet. I also have an ipad and I don't have any problem sending/receiving emails. Can somebody help me with this issue ?

Im new to adobe pro but I find it really easy to use for the most part. I am having a big problem though. Im designing a form for a client. It's basically a template, so he needs to add input using some forms I embedded in the document. Then he wants to send that form off to his clients and make it unchangeable (so they cannot edit amounts) in the form fields he has typed.
Is there a way to do this with certificates/any security options within adobe pro?
PS he doesnt have the pro version himself just the reader. So Id like to put a certificate on his computer so normally the security settings would prevent editing but if the certificate is installed on the computer it overides the general security and allows him to make changes in the form fields.

He really should get Acrobat, especially since you're not allowed to sell Reader-enabled documents to your clients. It's part of the "No Service Bureau" restriction of the Acrobat License Agreement. It will also allow him to flatten the fields and apply security, which would be the best approach. Acrobat Standard will be sufficient for this.

That's not a feature of the iPod or iPad. Or the iPhone for that matter. The most effective way is to take it away from them when they're not supposed to be using it.
If you don't want to do that, investigate the capabilities of your router to set time limits for specific devices.

How to apply Software Restriction policy for specific user in local group policy object ?

I am working on implementing user based software restriction policy programmatically for local group policy object.
If i create a policy through Domain Controller,i do have option for software restriction policy in user configuration but in local group policy editor i don't have option for that.
When i look for the changes made by policy applied from Domain Controller in registry, they modifies registry values for specific users on path HKEY_USERS\(SID of User)\Softwares\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\Safer\Codeidentifiers
They also have registry.pol stored in SYSvol folder in Domain Controller. When i make the same changes in registry to block any other application, application is getting blocked.
I achieved what i wanted but is it right to modify registry values ?

Here is the detailed process as outlined in SAP help.
Procedure
If only a limited set of users is to be able to post in a particular posting period, proceed as follows:
Add the posting period authorization (authorization object F_BKPF_BUP) to the authorizations of the selected users. Assign an authorization group (e.g. '0001').
Enter the account type '+' for the posting period variant to which the restriction is to apply. Enter the period(s) whose use is to be restricted in the first period, those which are available to all users in the second period, and the authorization group (e.g. '0001') in the last column.
Examples
A posting period can be successively restricted. If, e.g. 10 users have the posting period authorization with authorization group '0001', and 3 of these 10 users also with authorization group '0002'.
If the period is only to be accessible to the 10 selected users the authorization group '0001' is entered in the posting period variant. Access can later be restricted to the remaining 3 users by entering '0002'.

Data Level security for specific Users

Hi,
Can you please suggest some ideas on by-passing the Data Level security for specific users or specific group?
Currently, we have data level security defined on a group permissions for one group and for people belonging to another group, the security should not apply and they should see entire data.
But, key thing here is that, the user belongs to both the groups.
Any ideas helps.

So you are saying you want a user to belong to a group with data-level security filters, but you don't want the filters to apply to that user?
Why are they in the group then?
Are the data filter defined with variables or are the hard-coded?
If variables, you may be able to put logic in initialization block to set the variable appropriately for specific users.
I'd rethink the security model - when I define data level security filters, I tend to force users to only belong to a single group/role.

There is two possibility.
1 - SPRO->Material Management->IM and PI-> Settings for enjoy transactions ->settings for goods Movements (MIGO)->Field selection for MIGO.Then against Field name choose the radio button Req.
This will impact for all the user.
2 - If you would like to restrict for particuar user than use of SHD0.
Create screen/transaction variant of MIGO through SHd0. In this put your req. field compulsory.Revoke the authorization of MIGO from particular user and assing the new transaction code done through SDH0 to this user.
Due to this you can control req. entry in MIGO for particular user.

How do I set time limits for my iphone?

You know how there are parental controls on the macs in the settings. In there you can set up time limits of how long you can use the computer for but I can't find it on the iphone where you can set time limits for use. I looked at the restrictions sections but I don't see anything on setting time limit. How could I set time limits for use on my phone? I go on my phone too much and I really have to set restrictions to limit my time on it.
