Set-tmp-permission is not running in my Solaris 10 Netra CP3060 blade serve

Hi All,
In my Solaris 10 - Netra CP3060, the following particular script is not running:
lrc:/etc/rc2_d/S00set-tmp-permissions
lrc:/etc/rc2_d/S07set-tmp-permissions
Above script is to set the default permission of /tmp & /var/tmp while rebooting if it found any inconsistencies. I changed the file permission of /tmp and rebooted my server. As the above scripts are not running, it shouldn't change the file permission to default. But the file permission changed after reboot.
Please let me know is there any other service running related to this in my server. Was this script incorporated in SMF facility, if so whats that service name?

To run shell script from Oracle Forms, I used the following host('/bin/bash /u01/compile.sh') and it works well
Now, I need to run unix command something like
host('mv form1.fmx FORM1.FMX') but it's not working
I tried to append the command mv form1.fmx FORM1.FMX' to the compile.sh shell script but also it's not working although the rest lines of the shell script is running well

We are running into a problem when trying to run loadjava on a 10.2.0.3 database running on a Solaris 10 64-bit server.
loadjava -user xxxxx/xxxxx -verbose -resolve -force my.jar

The LD_LIBRARY_PATH does not have the lib32 directory on it, it has /var/db/10.2.0/lib instead.
Any idea on what to do?

How to not run a gateway instance if the target server is down

I have a DirectoryWatcher gateway instance that runs every 10
min looking to do a series of actions when a file is added to a
directory on another server. This other server is down periodically
and my gateway instance fails. Then when the server comes back up,
I have to restart the gateway because it has failed. How do I tell
the gateway instance to not run if the server it is looking at is
down or the directory in this case is unavailable?

listeners have a timeout period. if the target computer is going through a reboot cycle, the downtime should be short enough that you can setup a timeout. Set one that is long enough so that you do not trigger a failure event, and the timepsan allows for the target server to come back online before the timeout expiration.
Another way that is more robust is to create a seperate application, perhaps one built on Visual Studio or even a scripthost that does a simple ping of the destination server every 10 seconds or so. When the server is not found, you can do a shutdown of your CF. (you can shutdown any application from another application). Once you can re-ping the server, relaunch your gateway listener. If the listener cannot support what you want to do, just write another program that will perform your logic for you.

Forefox will not run due to error message '500 Internal Server Error'

10 days ago the PC had to have its OS reinstalled on Dell's instructions. All other applications we use have been loaded but both Firefox and IE were runing slowly. we uninstalled firefox and reinstalled it - made no difference to speed. Then it started (not responding) and finally when I start it up now up comes error message '500 Internal Server Error'

Can not run helloworld.xsql on Netscape. Enterprise Server 4.0 SP4?

We are running //...//oracle.xml.xsql.XSQLServlet/helloworld.xsql on Netscape. Enterprise Server 4.0 SP4 on UNIX and getting the following message
XSQL-003: Failed to find 'XSQLConnections.xml' file in server CLASSPATH.
XSQL-004: Could not acquire a database connection named: demo
XSQL-007: Cannot acquire a database connection to process page.
We have tried to put XSQLConfig.xml in every where that the Server suppose to find, but returned with the same error message. We don't know what we can do next. Can any of you give us some suggestion? Besides, we also have following questions:
1. How do you treat XSQLConfig.xml inside of your source code? Which path does it search?
2. Is the file XSQLConfig.xml all lower case or case mixed inside of your code? Because when we extract downloaded file on UNIX machine, it returns with xsqlconfig.xml, but on WINNT, it was XSQLConfig.xml. Which one is right? However, in UNIX even we chang it to XSQLConfig.xml, it still does work.
We are really in dead-end, please help.

oracle.xml.xsql.XSQLServlet servlet ?
I don4t know how to do this with Netscape
Enterprise Server.

Forms Server Not Running On Sun Solaris

Hi,
Now I am developing an developer 6i on sun solaris. I am using Oracle 8i, Forms server 6i, reports server 6i and OAS 4.0.8.2.
I install database on oracle user. And forms dan reports on other user. I start forms server on port 9000 by running the forms60_server script. But when I call the test.fmx from http://xxx/dev60html/runform
there is an error message can't connect to forms server on port 9000.
Can any body help me.

Job Will Not run due to credentials

I am attempting to set up a job to run a MSDB package stored on my server. The job is failing and giving me the error below in the history log. I have several other jobs that run MSDB packages with the same credentials and they run fine. Why would this be
failing. I have tried using a local account, but that fails as well. I am using windows authentication and the SDC\Administrator is the main admin account on our domain.

**Update** My job is executing with an account called Tailwind\Systems. Tailwind is the server name and consequently a user name in our sql server 2012 instance. I cannot figure out how to make it execute as another account**

OK so start to finish.
I have a file saved in a directory on the same server sql server 2012 is running on.
Next I create a db and import that file in and allow the table to get created.
Next I import again this time electing to delete existing rows and using the package do not use encryption. I accept all defaults and save in sql server
Now that the package has been saved I create a new job and create a step that calls this package to run it. I leave all defaults including the owner which is the Windows admin account.
I run the job and get the error. I run the package manually and it runs. The funny thing is, this is the way I have always done it and never had this issue. I have other jobs that still successfully run packages but are in other db's. I test by creating
a new import package and job to run but from within the already existing db and it works. So it seems to be a permission somewhere that I have yet to find.

Rule set import - Background job did not run

I am setting up my CC 5.2 production system. I have downloaded from ruleset from the dev CC and imported it into production. However the background job generated did not run. I am implementing SAP note 999785 to fix this, but am wondering what should I do about the rule set? Do I need to delete the rule set and reimport it? As this background job did not run I notice that the permission rules did not generate.
Any advice is welcome.

as the backgorund job never ran and no rules were created, I can just reimport the ruleset and let the job run. I have tried this and the rules were created successfully

Not a solution yet, but received the following from one of the tech people I've been e-mailing back & forth with.

I suggest that you clone your current drive with 10.6.8 to an external drive. If you have any issues after upgrading to Mavericks, you can boot back into 10.6.8.
Both of these applications can be used to create a clone. If you need help creating your clone, let us know.

Hey Sierra, You can do just what you have stated. My question, what is your "other"? If it is over 1.5 GB you most likely have corrupt files. Doing a Restore to New, Factory restore should correct it. Just make sure you make a full backup of all information on your iPod to your computer before you restore, so you don't lose your stuff, contacts, videos, pictures, non-iTunes music, etc, use the cable and connect with your computer. Then, via cable, connect to your computer, run the Restore to new, don't use your backup. Treat this iPod as if it was your first one ever. When restore is done, set up and add what info you wish to install on this iPod. The music apps etc you purchased should be on your computer, if not you should be able to retrieve purchased apps and music from iTunes. Any music, videos, apps not purchased from iTunes will be lost to you if you do not save them to your computer or the cloud first. When your done, make a current Backup and you should good to go. Portal Transport Set(EXPORT) script not running.

I have created a Instant portal(10 Appli Rel 2) which is on OS
[SUSE LINUX Enterprise Server 9 (i586) VERSION = 9 ] .
Now I want to create transport set and want to export that instant portal to another
SUSE LINUX server.
But the problem I am facing is that the script that is generating by the EXPORT WIZARD is
for UNIX which has .CSH extension.
So i am not able to rum that thing...as Linux use .SH .....can anyone help me to run that thing .......

DId you run the script to put the trasnport set ready for been include?
When you create a transport set, automaticaly you can get the dmp from it, but when you import it, you need to run the script that willmake a import in db level so you can import it in the portal, is like making two imports, one at portal, one at command line using the script, and you run it like script.cmd -mode import -s portalschema -c orcl -pu orcladmin -d filename.dmp where -mode indicate that is going to be an import, -c db SID name, -pu Portal User -d File created during export and -s db schema for portal.

As I travel around the world I want to install a VPN ( my companies uses a VPN but it is only for work) so I can visit blocked sites. When I install the VPN it want to change the profile. Can I have more than one profile on the iPad or will the VPN overwrite the Lotus Notes profile?

When I run set up... it extracts files somewhere but does not run

When downloading firefox set up software and runnning it... nothing happens... the files appear to extract, but the set up program does not run

Are you able to follow the instructions and use an Administrative account, turn off UAC and disable security software ?
Do you get any error reports ?
