SET Types for ISAM Category

HI,
We are tring to download Vehicle details from SAP VMS to SAP CRM through middleware. We have created new category ISAM. We find lot of set types in various online help. Can any one provide the Exact SET types to be used to download all the vehicle related details includinf for ISAM_OWN_UPLOADED.

Were you able to load data into CRM vrom VMS? I am trying that and as you said there is lots of documentation but I am looking at specifics. Could you share your experiences?

SPRO >PM & CS .> Maint & Service Processing > Overview of Noti Types
under this link, enter following details for respective Noti types which Noti Header details & Priority types u'll not getting.
1) Screen Areas in Noti Header > i)Screen Type Hdr : H100(eg.)
                                                      ii)Screen Type Object : 0100(eg.)
2)Priority Types: here assign Priority types.

Custom Set Types for Products

Hello,
We have added some Z set types for our CRM Products and have created two Z tables for this. But even though we update these tables, we are not able to get the values for product on the screen.
Can someone tell me what all tables should be updated when we have cutsom Set Types in use?

Hi Priyanka,
I Guess you want the Values in the Ztable as F4 help values for the Z attributes in Z set types of the product.
To do the same plz follow the steps mentioned below:
1) Identify the field(Attribute in Set type) for which you want the F4 help.
2) Go to SE11. Select Data Type and enter the name of the Attribute value.
3) Press Change
4) Doble click on the Domain to go to the domain element associated to it.
5) In domain element screen, go to Value Range Tab.
6) In Value Range Tab, you have a Value Table field, Enter the ZTable from which you want the value to be populated in F4.
7) Save and Activate the Domain element.
Test the scenario.

Problem of setting Priority type for notification category

Dear Expert,
I have created a new notification type and number range have been created for that notification. Actuaaly i am facing problem when i craete notification for that type which is I have created then after entering in IW2, show error message "Priority type not maintained for notification category".
I also want "Field displaying user status" and "Control box" for My notification of showing fields.
Please suggest me how solve this error and field displaying.

Define Action Box -> Define Follow-Up Functions
Notification Types ->Activities ->Dependent Follow-Up Functions ->Define Follow-Up Actions for Tasks-> Define follow-up actions
Follow-up actions -> Function modules.

Predifined set types in product category

Hi forum,
the pre defined set types viz comm_pr_shtext,comm_pr_unit.... are not visible in the category(service) which is assigned to the hierarchy.so creation of products under this category is not being allowed by the system.are there any settings to correct this.plz guide.points guaranteed.

hi,
i have replicated the problem in my system, it is working fine.
answer the following:
have you created a category for service for a base hierarchy, say "Service"?
Have you specified the product type while creating this category?
Have you selected/ checked 'Product/object Assignment Possible' ?
have you created another category for your purpose say "Maintenance below the above category "Service"?
if you have done the above steps, you should be able to assign the SAP provided set types to this new category.
otherwise raise a note to SAP.

Goto SPRO->SAP Supplier Relation ship Management
                         ->SRM Server
                             ->Coss applications and settings -> Extensions and Field Control
                                      ->Configure field control->configure control for fields substructure (in tabs field)

But for Internal Goods and Service which Bus. Object Set Type should i use to achive this

Execute transaction SM30 and display the Table/View /SAPSRM/V_ACTSET. Here you will find set type of all the fields.

Set type for product pricing

Hi,
Its urgent requierment i need set type if any for updating product price for z type condtion table.
I CRM_PRODUCT_CONDITIONS check this package but i dont get any input. the bapi which i am using have no code inside for conditions COM_PROD_MATERIAL_MAINTAIN_API.
i tried these bapis :
COM_PRODUCT_MAINT_CONDITIONS : not Working
PRC_MAST_CREATE_CONDITION :I am uploading conditions separately by using this FM PRC_MAST_CREATE_CONDITION
But this FM is throwing dump when I execute it with correct product Id.Attached screen shot .I am passing CRM for application and
PRODUCTCRM to maintenance group.It is throwing dump at product_id.

Price was not picking from the Condition type for Item Category 'P' in PO

Hi Experts,
I Created one condition type based on Material and WBS which price was fixed based on this
I used the Purchase Order having Item Category P or Q Price should pick from the condition type where I mapped the WBS Element and Material.
The Net price was not picking from the Condition type Record. Why? What should be the Problem?
Whether my logic is correct or not?

The Scenario: I want to fix the Material price base on each WBS Element for a Project. For each WBS Element the Price will be various for same material.
Please help on this.

Hi,
In standard configuration you cannot set item delivery date as a pricing data.
Maybe you shoud look at SAP enchancement - in dedicated structures you can pass additional item data (structure KOKMP).

How to change the Organizational Dependency of a Set Type

Hi All,
With the creation of a new set type we made the mistake to not select "Distribution-Chain-Dependent" in the "Org. Dependency"-field.
Now we already maintained a few materials (only in development system) with data in the attributes of this set type, but noticed that the data is not Sales org. dependent. Seems logical, because we forgot to set this org dependency in the set type, but now we want to correct this and I hope you could provide us with the best way to do this.
The field it self is no longer editable in change mode (seems logical, since all tables/structures/relations are already created and messing with this dependency could mess things up) but we really need the org dependency for our product attibutes. So, I wanted to create a new set type, and replace the old one with this new one in our category, but I can't even delete the old set type from our category, because I get the message: "Products of this category already exist; Set type cannot be deleted".
What would be the best way to solve this? (is there a way to change the org dependency of the existing set type?/should I create a new set type? If so, how to delete the old set type and it's data?)

Hi Nitin,
Before creating the Service type of product, you have to define the Base category for Service type product. Generally the category for service will be created under the R3 hierarchy R3PRODSTYPE. You can create this category using the TCode:
COMM_HIERARCHY. Here you have to select the product type as Service and have to assign the set types to the category.
You can create a service product using the transaction : COMMPR01 -> Click on Service ICON -> Select the Category for Service Type. Then fill in the details for Service Product description, Service ID(Based on number range settings for products), Language.
Also fill other details like Base Unit of measure, Pricing condition for different sales areas for the service product.
Since you are using CRM7.0, you can do all these activities using a POWER USER role.

Hi
Set types are the one which are used to group together relevant attributes (fields in Material Master of R3) which will be used at the time of replciation of materials from R3. You can create your own set types if required.
At the time of creating a category under the hierarchies, you can assign the relevant set types for the hierarchy category. If you create the product master in SRM for the specific category, those set types assigned will be shown as data screens to be entered.

Error while Generating Set Type

Hi All,
While adding new attribute in a Z set type for products the system generated error during generation.
Now when I am trying to display or change that set type the system is giving error "Please enter a description for set type Z*******" and terminates.
I tried looking the various methods, screens and tables generated but everything looked fine.
Please suggest how to restore this set type.

I tried creating the relation for the settype manually in extend object Model of products but it is giving error ProdSetICM_OTH_WEAPONA01 doesn't exist.
This is strange because this entry has been mainted in all systems and it doesn't exist in Object list.
Any clue to this.

I have created the Product Called Monitor
For that Monitor i have maintained the following attributes like
Monitor Size like 15 or 17 or 21inchs
Monitor Type like Flat or LCD Type
I have created the Set type for that.
I have assigned those things to Product.
What are the tables are involved in this process can anybody help me out regarding this?

Error COM_PRODUCT812 when syncing products with Attribute Set Type

Good Morning,
I was wondering if anyone could help me with an error I am receiving when synchronizing products over with a set type for the MARC table.
I get the following error for some products when I load them initially. I only get this error on the initial load of the product and if I comment out the code in IF_EX_PRODUCT_CUSTOMER2~MAP_R3_TO_CRM_MATERIAL to populate the set type it runs fine, so it does not seem to be data related since I can comment the code back in and resync the product and it comes over fine with the set type information included.
Any help would be appreciate.

This message is issued in unanticipated situations.
For example, tables do not have corresponding data records. Missing information in the records in the one table is read from the other table, however the relevant data record does not exist.

Hello Eric,
Without debugging, it is bit difficult to tell the actual reason for the above error.
If you are comfortable with debugging, then you can put the watch point in COM_PRODUCT812 and try to find the reason.
Please note that in order to debug, you have to de-register the queue R3AI_MATERIAL(for initial load) in CRM system.
Once you execute the load in txn:R3AS, you can see that in CRM txn:SMQ2, queue entry would be waiting for debugging.

Standard set types in Comm_Hierarchy

In comm_hierarchy- I am adding a standard set type to a category. The name of the set type is comm_pr_unit. I am unable to sdd this set type because it is not visible in the drop down of standard set types.
However I can see this set type in the comm_attrset.
Please let me know how I can add this set type.

HI,
Settypes cannot be assigned across the Hierarchies.
If your settype is already assigned to one heeirarchy, say R3PRODSTYP, and you are trying to add this settype to another hierarchy say ZHIER, then this is not allowed.
Kindly check if the settype you are trying to use is assigned under another heirarchy!!!
