Set up as new iPhone question

Hi, when i get a new device I always "restore from backup" to get all my info back on either from a iTunes backup or iCloud as of recently because of no laptop for past year.
I've been having a few problems recently and was told by a few people that I should "set up as new device" and start fresh, if I did that how can I get my camera roll,  contacts, notes, bookmarks etc. back on? Also what about app data like game saves?
Thanks in advance

For camera roll - you should be importing  http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083 your pics to your computer, then you can sync it back to your phone using itunes http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4236
Your contacts/notes/bookmarks should be sync to whatever program your using to sync with in itunes i.e outlook, etc.
Your app data will not be saved, you will have to start as new.
