Set up for Form-16-PYIN
Hi All,
When i run the report PC00_M40_F16 & try to check the form for the employee through Print Form-Print Preview-i am not getting any data/form.
The emplyee has only worked in the organization for 1 month, so 1 months payroll result is available in the system(PC_Payresult) & his posting for the month had already taken place.,
But when i check the Print Error- System gives Message that no Payroll result is available for the particular employee. where as PC_PayResult shows the Pyresult is available.
I have selected Comp-Code as TAN Number field is not active for Data Input-PC00_M40_F16. Can it be a possible reason??
I am not able to fix this....please provide some input on the same???

Allowing user to set password for form?
I have a performance evaluation form that has been rights-extended so users can save data typed into the form, but the users would like to be able to set their own passwords for security purposes. Is there any way to do this? My last resort I guess will be to just tell them to zip the pdf file into a password protected zip file, but I feel like there must be a way to script something in the doc:ready event??

I designed a sample to protect a form with a password.
Therefore I use 2 hidden fields somewhere in the form that store either the password and the state of the form (protected or unprotected).
The I added two script, one in the preSave:event one in the docReady:event.
The preSave script check if the form state is set to unprotected (0), if so it opens a response box to enter a password, that is stored in the hidden password field.
After that the form fields are set to invisible and the form is saved.
When the form is reopend the docReady script check if the form state is set to protected (1).
If so, it asks for the password.
If the password is wrong or empty the form fields stay invisible.

InDesign CS6 how to set justification for form text field?
Hi everyone,
I've been playing with the ability to create form for PDF file but I haven't figure out how to set a center justification for a text field. By default it's left. Same thing for font, the one selected in InDesign while creating the form isn't used when editing the form in Acrobat.
Do I need to create a paragraph style with a specific name to preserve both attributes?
Thanks.InDesign CS6's forms features are great, but you're looking as version 1.0 of the feature. Those features cannot be set in InDesign.
Furthermore, if you try to pick a font other than the standard ones at the top of the menu, don't expect that your form users will be able to pick those fonts when they open up the form in Reader or Acrobat. I'm pretty sure that custom fonts are not stored in the PDF form. -

To get here.. Admin.>System Init > Authorization > Additional Authorization Creator
In the Additional Authorization Creator window, enter an Authorization Id and Name, From the option dropdown Select the options you want.
To enter the FormID in your case 63771, Click Edit and enter the Form Number of the User defined table.
NOTE: To get the Form number open the user defined table and on the Status Bar at the bottom you can see the Form=xxxxx (number). Use this number. To view the form details on the status bar, please click View > System information on the Top Menu.
One you have entered the Form number click Update.
Now in the General Authorization Window you can see an additional entry on the right side window bottom called User Authorization clicking which you will see the Additional Authorization you created.

How can I set up a form for someone to fill out on another person's behalf?
I am trying to set up a form in which someone is asked to fill in the form for another person. Basically, we're asking people if they're still our primary contact. If they are, it's a simple blind form confirmation. If they're not, we are asking them to please tell us who is. So it will take them to a form where they can tell us who is the new contact. However, I don't want cookies for the new person to be attributed to the person that filled out the form (as that would then mess with segmentation, lead scoring/nurturing, etc). We also need to see who is the person filling out the form, so we know who the new person is replacing. So we'll need to collect the name and/or email address of the person filling out the form, in addition to the name and email address of the person they're adding.
I know this can be done, as at a previous company we had a form that was used internally to add people who called in sales inquiries, so that we could capture them as "submitting an inquiry" as if they had just filled out a form. For example, I would fill out the form after someone called in asking for product information, but the online behavior of that person would not be attributed to me even though I filled out the form from my computer. Unfortunately, I can't recall how this was set up. Does anyone have any ideas on how this could be set up?Hi Abby,
The easiest way to do this is to set up two forms:
The first form is for your primary contact, who will submit the email address for the secondary contact and any additional contact data for the secondary contact. You can also include a field (hidden or otherwise) for the primary contact if you wish to record this form submission activity, but functionally this is not required.
A second form which will accept the secondary contact's email address and any other contact info you'd like to capture through this process.
The trick is that once you've got these two forms saved, you add a form processing step to the first form called Post Data to Server. In this processing step, you fill in the details for the second form, including making sure to map the secondary email address field on form 1 to the primary email address field on form 2. The URL will need to be the POST action url for the secondary form, which you can get from the integration details. You'll also need to append your SiteID and Form Name, and also a variable to disable cookies for this submission (elqCookieWrite). The final URL should be something like this:

My organization is 1886, so you'll have to replace this with your Site ID
My secondary form name is Alt2, so you'll have to replace this with your secondary form name
elqCookieWrite=0 ensures the secondary form will not try to associate the session with the ElqGUID (cookie)
In the secondary form, make sure you have the processing step Update Contacts - With Form Data.
Now when submitting form 1, you'll see a submission to both forms, and the contact info submitted to form 2 creates a new contact (or updates an existing one) with no ties to the current session/cookie used to submit form 1. You can add these contacts to a shared list, enter them into a separate campaign or program, or anything else you could do with a normal form submission.
One caveat to remember though is that since this person did not submit the form, you have not technically collected any permission to contact them, so you'll have to sort that out with whatever rules apply in your area (your use case seems to be for existing customers which is generally OK, but you should still check).

Set a time/date for forms to automatically close
We are using Forms Central for proposal submissions. There is a deadline for the proposals to be turned in, and up to now, we've had to turn the form off by hand.
Is there a way to set up the form so that it automatically closes itself at a certain date and time? So, for instance, if a proposal is due on Friday, February 7, at 5:00 p.m. Eastern time, the form will switch itself to "Closed" at that time?Not at this time.

Setting values for non-displayed fields on a Tabular Form
I'm having a problem setting non-displayed fields on the same table as displayed fields like last_update_date, last_updated_by, id's and other fields when creating new records or updating existing records in a Tabular form.

IE9 Disable AutoComplete for Forms Registry Setting (where is it?)
I have tried with no success to use GP to consistently force Disable AutoComplete for forms (User Configuration\Administrative
Templates\Windows Components\Internet Explorer).
Using GPResult,
some workstations show "disabled" when the setting is actually "enabled" through GP.
I am now pursuing a registry edit to force this to my workstations
consistently (key word; consistently). Does anyone know the correct registry key for IE9 on a Windows 7 Pro (64 bit OS)? I've tried about five so far and none of them work.

As we all know we can disable AutoComplete throung IE settings. While if you want to disable them through Registry, it would be better to use Regshot to caputer registry modifing after this setting changed in IE.
I made a test in my test enviroment, there are some other volume and key modified, also contains:

Because of the changes in the cloud version, options available in DW 12.0 no longer appear in their former locations and I have not been able to find anything about this on the web. There's little reason to use Struts infrastructure to set this up since you have no model, and the controller aspect is well-defined (just go to "NewProject"!). You're basically providing a link from one page to another, akin to doing an <a href>, and you wouldn't use Struts to do a simple link :).
I would just just use standard HTML.
If you're okay with using Javascript, this is the simplest:

Hi all, In the Cube definition, in the characteristic tab, I've moved a characteristic from 'Template' to 'Structure'. Then I re-activate my cube. But now, I can't select the Characteristic in order to remove it. How can I remove this characteristic
