SET UP NEW IPHONE LOOP!!! PLEASE HELP!
Hey everyone...
Well i have an iPhone with major issues...
It doesn't sync and apps crash etc...
Anyway Apple are sending me out a new iPhone seen as though this has a list of things wrong with it...
Anyway thats fine... Today i thought it would be an idea to back up everything so thats exactly what i did... just before i did this my iPhone froze So i thought i'de plug it into iTunes to restore it.
While doing this i noticed the Set Up new iPhone pop up window - i ignored it...
ANyway so i restored everything etc...
I got a call answered it and everything was normal.
I went to Sync when i was stuck in a continuous loop of "Set up New iPhone"
After doing it 4 times i eventually gave up and rang apple...
They couldn't really diagnose anything...
If this has happened to anyone please let me know as i have alot of data on that phone which i'de rather not loose...
Thanks.... =]
Have a good night... =]

Disk Utility MAY or MAY NOT help
It depends on a few things.
1. Is the disk over heating, IF so then you need to wait for it to cool off.
2. If its a bad cable (using a USB 1.1 cable with a 2.0 drive, broken internally, etc) then you may want to try a new cable.
3. If its a file system issue then Disk Repair may fix it but if its serious then you may want to use DiskWarrior.
DiskWarrior has saved my drive several times!
I would recommend trying the following in this order.

I have lost my new iPhone. Please help. I have the IMEI no and all the details that comes at the back of the box.
Having the imei won't help you find your phone.
If you setup and enabled find my phone prior to losing it then go to icloud.com
If you didn't set it up - then there nothing you can do.
Call your carrier and let them know, change all your passwords. -
I purchased an audiobook in Nov 2012 using iPhone 4S and then upgraded to iPhone 5 in Dec. Now I am not seeing the audio book in purchase history in iTunes. This means I am not able to get the book in my new iPhone. Please help.
Audiobooks are currently a one-time only download from the store. If you don't have it on your computer (audiobooks go into the Books part of your iTunes library) nor on a backup, then if it's still in the store you can try contacting iTunes support and see if they will grant you a re-download : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page

Ok here's the thing, I used to have the 4th generation iPod until I lost it in October. And I had purchased a bunch of apps on it and stuff.
But now I have this iPhone 4, which my friend just gave me, in which I want to transfer all my other apps into. I've looked into my iTunes account and can't find them. I've authorized my computer and I don't know what to do.
Please help me! Thanks in advance. If you are logged in with the same account, and they are still in the store, then you should be able to re download them via the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes Store home page on your computers's iTunes, and via the Puchased tab in the App Store app on your iPhone.

I've lost my contacts on my new iphone 6, please help.
I used to have the iphone 4s but got the new iphone 6 last week. I backed up my contacts before I got the iphone 6 and then uploaded my contacts onto my new iphone. I also changed sim cards and had to wait a few days for the new sim card to have the same number I used to own. I got my old number on my new sim card today and all my contacts disappeared! I tried to restore my iphone and then upload my contacts onto my iphone again but the contacts I had backed up have also disappeared! Please can someone tell me how I can get my contacts back??
Where did your contacts originally come from? Gmail? Yahoo? Outlook? Or did they only get created directly on the iPhone?
Wherever the original source of contacts was is your best bet, but if they only lived on your iPhone then I think all you can do is try to recover them from your old sim. If you can do that, and turn on your iCloud account's Contacts, then maybe then they'll be synced to iCloud and the you can put your new sim back in. -

This is my second iP4. The tech at apple said there was corrupt files and to restore it as a new ph. Nothing has worked. I thought wifi might be causing the issue. By turning off wifi it has helped some but the problem still exisit.
Dude you have a jailbroken phone as stated in your first post, no need to do a second post.
As per the forum term of service you can't get help here. Use google.
that's the downfall of jailbreaking your phone. -
My iPhone recently broke so I was sent a brand new iPhone to replace it, however, since receiving this phone, I cannot access anything which was previously backed up onto iCloud from my last iPhone. Please help me!
If you are trying to restore to an iCloud backup, this has to be done during the initial setup process. If your phone is already set up, you will have to go back to Settings>General>Reset and tap Erase All Content & Settings, then go back through the setup screens again and when given the option, choose Restore from iCloud Backup (see image below). Be sure your phone is connected to wifi and your charger as this will take some time to complete.
Also, your replacement phone must be running the same iOS version or higher to restore to your backup. If you are running an older version of iOS than the device that was backed up, your backup will not be visible when you choose to restore to your iCloud backup. If this is the case, you'll have to update your replacement phone first. -
My iphone is at tech service and since it is in guarantee period most probably they will give a new one.Thats why I want to deactivate or sign out my apple ID from that Iphone. Please help me, what shoud I do?
Wow... you seriously over paid for an iPhone.
That probably explains why you have/had no clue you were purchasing a locked device and think it's an Apple problem to get it unlocked. -

While setting up new iPhone 4S, I mistakenly mistyped my Apple ID (email address) so when I go to app store, that incorrect account is revealed. Trying to figure out how to change the Apple ID on the iPhone 4S to correct info. Anyone know how to do this? Thanks in advance for you help.
It is most unlikely your replacement is anything other than new
Refurbs are recycled through the Apple supplier's Factories
I doubt that there has been time for that process and has already been mentioned early failures
are probably checked out thoroughly before being recycled
In any event you would never know the difference between new and a refurb
I have had x2 in past and certainly could not
depending on your consuer laws you can probably get your money back
if you are that concerned -

Both of yall need to go to settings, meassages, send and recieve, scroll down to start new conversation from, and make sure you have different email addresses with a check mark beside it. Right now sounds like they are the same email addresses.

Missing selection tabs with QT-Pro installed on my Intel iMac
This is my first Mac, so I am sure it is something obvious, but for the life of me, I can't get the selection tabs to pop up when I place the mouse cursor on the timeline. Works fine on my Wintel machine, but no luck on the iMac. What am I missing?

Question for David Powers re file 'quotations.sql'
It would appear from the first few lines of this file (shown below) that it first checks if a table "quotations" already exists, and if so deletes it. Then it creates a new version, and populates it with the following data. Is this correct? Clancy --
