I have a dsl modem and also vonage. How do I set up a wireless router with the other two devices? Do I plug the router into the vonage, which is then going to the dsl modem?

Setting up new MBP with SSD and optical drive and restoring from Time Capsule
Hi Everyone-
Sorry if this has been addressed before, but I couldn't find a specific answer by searching. My last macbook was stolen, but luckily I had everything backed up in my Time Capsule. I just ordered my new Macbook Pro (13"), 16GB Ram, and a 240GB SSD. I plan to install everything next week. My plan is to keep all of my apps and working files on my SSD and use my 2nd hard drive for data storage and possibly my itunes library. My question is- when setting all of this up, what would be the best way to go about doing this.
1.) Restoring my time machine backup to the original hard drive, move it to the optical drive bay, and then copy over the files that I want on the SSD (after installing the operating system) and delete them off of the origan HD.
2.) Restore my backup to the SSD (once it's installed) and then move files over to the formated original harddrive in the optical bay. My problem is that there may not be enough room on the 240GB SSD.
3.) Is there a way to do a slective restore through TM and move where I want to keep them? I think this would be the easiest.
4.) Other way that I haven't mentioned
Thanks for any help with this question.I used setup assistant last time when I changed from a 2009 mini to a 2010 mini. It caused some file permission errors that still persist today with iPhoto. I have 2 accounts on my mini, 1 for my wife and 1 for myself, but I store all our photos and videos on the shared folder in order to avoid duplication. But when she imports pictures from her profile and I try to view them full screen, I'm unable to. I have to relaunch iPhoto and repair file permissions if I want to view them properly. I was hoping to avoid this happening again.

Best Router with DSL Modem for use with AT&T DSL and Airport Express?
I recently had my old 2WIRE from AT&T DSL service die, so purchased a new 2WIRE 2701HG-B. My old 2WIRE worked with my Airport Express, which is hooked up to my DVR for DirecTV use. The new 2WIRE apparently is not compatible with the Airport Express, so I returned it and purchased a NetGear Wireless-N 300 Router with DSL modem. While this one does work with the Airport Express setup, it runs very slow. This router has mediocre reviews, so I'd like to find a better one.
I'd appreciate any suggestions for a Router w Modem that would work best with my AT&T DSL and Airport Express (802.11n) within the $100 - $150 price range. Thanks!Configure the Express as a bridge: Connect via "Ethernet", and set Connection Sharing to "off (bridge mode)".
The switches ought not to be a problem, and I don't know why your router froze. The Express is simply another wired client, just like a computer might be.

There's a couple of ways to get through to the authorisation controls in the 11.0.x versions.
The control is still in the Store menu, but first (if you're using iTunes versions 11.0.x) you might need to bring up the menu bar to see the Store menu.
If you're using 11.0.x, click on the wee boxy icon up in the top-left corner of your iTunes to see the "Show Menu Bar" control, as per the following screenshot:
Then you'll find the control in the Store menu:
Alternatively, if you don't want to bring up the menu bar, it's still possible to get into the authorise controls via nested menus accessible from the wee boxy icon. Here's a screenshot of where to find them: -

As a work around , you can create a VM without installing OS and configure the Vlan of VNic , then export it .
The new VM will be with Vlan ID when you import the "export file".(note : you need to select "copy the virtual machine " in the tab "choose import type" during importing ) .

Yes, new route will be determined in delivery if which corresponds to that range of weight group. Regarding "new route determination with check/without check", when you try to change the route manually, the system will check (will not check) whether the proposed route is defined as an alternative for Actual route. If the proposed route is not defined for actual route, it'll give an error message.
This you define in Proposed routes in Route Determination.

Because you can only synce with one iTunes library and you are switching libries by using the new computer. To nake this yyour syncing computer:
- Move all the media(apps, music, synced video and photos etc) to the new computer.
- Connect the iPofd yo the computer and bake a backup fo the iPod by right clicking on the iPod under Devices in iTunes and select Back Up
- Restore the iPod from that backup.
Note that the backup that iTunes makes doe not include media.

I try to create a new routing with BAPI BAPI_ROUTING_CREATE via JCo.
I filled all necessary parameters. I also realized a commit_work. I get in the RETURN parameter of the BAPI the Message "S 000 Routing N/50001641/01". But the routing isn't in the database. Other JCo programs I wrote (create material master or costumer order) are working very well.
Have anyone an idea?

Yes - well you have to make the file in a word processing Application.
You could use TextEdit (it's free) Pages (words only), or Numbers (data base) (they are part of iWorks - and may or may not be free (included) on your machine. You could use MS Office (it is not free) You could use any Open source word processor that plays well with Office (NeoOffice, StarOffice) they are free.
That's how you create content and copy/paste URLS. Then you save the file to the desktop. If you are going to make more than one file... you make a folder on the desktop and save, or drag the file(s) into it.
You attach it to your e-mail client which will compress it and e-mail it. An excellent reference is to use Help, from the menu bar, also from inside any application. From your library or book store the OS X for Dummies has a lot of useful information (you don't read it cover to cover but look up chapters about what you'd like to do)
You can also make appointments at your local Apple store for individualized help (if a store is nearby) -

I made the fatal mistake of allowing iCloud to handle my @mac mail account.
I had set this address up with aliases and never had a problem.
Ever since iCloud has been handling it I have had problems.
It seams impossible to claim my account back from iCloud. How can it be achieved or has Apple set a booby trap?iCloud is the successor to MobileMe. MobileMe shuts down forever tomoorrow.
If you only want to use the email portion of your previous MobileMe account you can. You do not have to use all the other features of iCloud, just like you didn't have to use all the other features of MobileMe.
The email account has not really changed at all. Just the server address it comes from.
The sending emails problem you are having, is this on your Mac in Mail, in webmail at iCloud.com or on your iOS device?
When it doesn't succeed in sending, what does it do? Any error message?
What mail server settings are you using in Mail? What version of Mac OS X are you using? -
I have apps in my notification center on for notifications (like News apps), with banner and sounds, but i never get the notification from those apps. I tried reinstalling the app and restarting the phone but all in vain

On the Mac Air launch iTunes. Then connect either the iPad or iPhone.
Select the iPad or iPhone under Devices left side of the iTunes window in the source list.
Then select Apps from the menu on the right.
If you don't see the apps listed there, from your iTunes menu bar (top of your screen), click Store > Authorize This Computer.
See if that makes a difference...
