Set-up of orange email won't work

I have tried all permutations when setting an email for my orange.net account with pop 3's and Ssl's to find that nothing works. I tried phoning ee several months ago and still cannot do this on my LG g2.
Since orange changed to ee this is not possible I was informed.
Is there a helpline I can use from my land-line that isn't 150 as I would like to talk and fix the phone at the same time?

Please check all your Incoming & Outgoing Servers settings. The important ones should be like this:
Incoming: Username: Your orange.net addy, Your Password, POP3 Server: pop.orange.net, Security: None, Port 110.
Outgoing: SMTP Server: smtp.orange.net, Security: None, Port 587, Requires Sign-in, Username: Your orange.net addy, Your Password.
It is perfectly possible to access Orange emails on an Android phone. I've been doing it for years on a Galaxy S3 with the above settings

    workspace manager software to manage shortscuts/printers/mappigs etc.
    For this software NoCommonGroups set to 1 (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc938264.aspx) because it replaces the default user shell.
    With Server 2008R2 this is working fine but with Server 2012R2 with NoCommonGroups set to 1 TOAST messages won't work anymore... So users won't
    receive notifications from e.g. Microsoft Outlook 2013.
    Any ideas on how to get TOAST messages / notifications working with NoCommonGroups set to 1 ?

    Before going further, which Workspace Manager software are we using, RES Workspace Manager? If this involves third party software, in order to get better help, we may aslo contact vendor support
    to ask for advice.

  • ICloud email won't work after upgrade

    iCloud email won't work after upgrade to Mountain Lion.  Says pop 3 server is timing out. Solutions?

    I'm sorry, as I keep saying... in MAIL I get the message that it cannot cannot to server!? Did you read the initial problem at all! I know exactly where mail is, although, the diagram was wonderful.
    My problem is TWO FOLD.
    The MAIL app doesn't work with iCloud but does work with my POP3 email for my office.
    Second problem is the iCloud on Safari doesn't work as I get the error message as the screenshot above.
    There is NO reason why the @me.com email shouldn't work through the iCloud site, as you can see, there is a also a Mail icon.

    Try:
    - Reset the iPod. Nothing will be lost
    Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
    least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Reset all settings
    Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
    All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
    - Restore from backup
    - Restore to factory settings/new iPod.
    - Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.

    Downgrading the iOS is not supported by Apple.

  • Setting Keyboard Shortcuts for Services won't work

    I've tried to set Keyboard Shortcuts for Services like "New Terminal Tab from Folder" but it won't work. I even tried it on my friend's machine to no avail.
    Here's where I'm setting it up. And yes, I've turned on the checkbox & set the shortcut I want. I've even tried a few different keyboard shortcuts that are complicated to ensure that it's not competing with something else.
    To note, I'm using TotalFinder but my friend, whose machine I tested this on, doesn't.
    We are both running 10.8.2 on the latest MacBook Pro with Retina Display, 15".

    I have a similar scenario......except my services that I created run one time, and then won't run again. 
    For example, I created a service to open a new blank email message for me to type in.  I assigned Cntl-Opt-Comm-M to this service.  I hit the key sequence and it works the first time.....the mail window pops open. 
    If I then close the mail window that it spawned and do it again, no mail window opens.
    I also did this to create a blank Calendar event and also another one for Reminders. 
    They all run one time and then not again.
    Any ideas?

    Hi my mail was working fine, but recently my Hyperlinks stopped working. If I get an email with a link to a website, I can't click on it to make it go to Safari, I only have the option of clicking a little arrow and seeing a preview of it. Why is this happening!?

    Please read this whole message before doing anything.
    This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
    The purpose of the test is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party software that loads automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, by a font conflict, or by corruption of the file system or of certain system caches.
    Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards, if applicable. Start up in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. You must hold down the shift key twice: once when you turn on the computer, and again when you log in.
    Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the startup volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
    Safe mode is much slower to start up and run than normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal startup may also be somewhat slow.
    The login screen appears even if you usually login automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
    Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
    After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test.

  • My iCloud email won't work

    My email address attached to my Apple id in iCloud won't work

    Way to go Apple. Switch everyone over from MobileMe to iCloud and pffft email no longer works. I'm getting the same thing that the password is incorrect. The real problem seems to be that their mail servers can't handle the load. When I try to log into iCloud in Safari, Mail does not load and there is an option to report the problem to Apple.     I have a similar issue here:
    I'm working on BW3.5 module and I'm trying to scheule a report in BEX broadcaster with a predefined time. Eg: Every Wed day after Fisc quarter ends. I created a job with name TP_BROADCASTING_**** and included the ABAP program in step :RSRD_BROADCAST_FOR_TIMEPOINT.
    Now In the start condition I selected start date as wed day after fisc qtr close and put the period value as every 3 months and restriction in cal Id as factory calendar.
    Now I have two questions...How can I select just wed nesday after the fisc quarter close ? Is there a std SAP exit variable exist for this ? Or do I need to create one and write ABAP code in Exit ? I tried with Event and other ways but its not showing in scheduler...
    Second one is I logged in to Broadcaster and created new setting for query and filled all recipents etc...now When I tried to schedule this I can not see my Quarterly pre defined time here...But if I change this time to some other calender time period I can see that in scheduler...
    Is there any other way of scheduling the reports at a specific time period ?thanks inadvance

  • Exchange email won't work on iphone 4S

    I received an iPhone 4S last week and ever since then, I have been unable to set up my Exchange email account, which is my corporate email account.
    I know I am not locked out of my account, because I can access my email on my laptop. I also know that I am entering the correct information, because I set email up on people's iPhone's as part of my job. 
    One of the messages I got said that Exchange wasn't trusted, and it gave me the opportunity to accept it, and I tried to do that, but nothing happened. I only saw that once. Most of the time it says that my account cannot be verified or the server cannot be reached or something like that.
    Does anyone know why the iPhone 4S is the only phone in our company that is having this problem, and that I didn't have this problem until I got the iPhone 4S?
    I want my mail. :-(

    Solution:
    I disabled then re-enabled User Initiated Syncronization along with Up-to-date Notifications via Exchange Tasks in Active Directory Users and Computers.
    After waiting a few minutes, we tried again with success.
    To clarify, here's what I did for the affected user:
    1. Log onto your Exchange server as an admin
    2. Launch Active Directory Users and Computers
    3. Locate the user, right click and select Exchange Tasks
    4. Configure Exchange Features> Next
    5. Highlight and disable these two Mobile Services:
         a. User Initiated Syncronization
         b. Up-to-date Notification
    6. Hit Next to get to the confirmation that the changes were made and then close the window.
    7. Go to step 3 and repeat through step 6, but this time, ENABLE the mobile services.
    I'm not sure how long you may have to wait for the changes to take effect. The user over here was in a meeting for about an hour and it was working by the time he was back.

    Since I mistakenly wiped my phone a week ago  I cannot set up my email accounts again.
    I seem to remember having to use a blackberry address and then got to key up my live mail account but now i cant seem to do it. THe email account icon doesnt lead anywhere in the setup icon.
     Whats the skinny?

  • Help! Email won't work!

    I have an LG Lucid II. A couple weeks ago I tried sending an email, but got a message saying "Authentication Failed". When I clicked on the message it gave me the option of either clicking "OK" (going back to previous screen) or "Settings". When I click on settings, it said that my password was not correct. I thought this was weird because I still got in coming emails just fine. Anyway, I shut my phone off a turned it back on, and then it worked just fine.
    Now today I tried sending an email and got the same thing; so again I restarted my phone. This time it didn't work. I still got the "Authentication Failed" message. So I tried deleting the account, thinking if I re-add the account it will fix it. Well now it's not working at all. I'm still in the setup up phase, and it won't let me set up the account saying that the password is incorrect (It's not. I can log in to my email just fine on a computer).
    Any ideas? BTW I have Hotmail for my email.

    The Gmail account doesn't work through the Gmail app?
    How do you have the godaddy accounts setup? Try removing them and then verify the server settings with GoDaddy.

  • Email won't work

    I've been on the phone to Apple about this but never enough time. My mail will send but not receive and all the internet setting are correct. I was told to use the reinstall CD as I must have bad mail program (?) However when I searched for my disks I cannot locat them. I purchased this imac plus a macbook Oct 16th 07 and am having a heck of a time with tech support. I can find the disks for the macbook but that won't install. Can I get a replacement for the iMac? I've looked everywhere and don't know what to do. I also had to send for the update to get lepoard installed and I do have that disk.
    any ideas?

    That disk will never work.

    Yes, if you call Apple I believe Software support will help you with that for a shipping and handling charge.
    I also had to send for the update to get lepoard installed and I do have that disk.
    That disk, if it's an upgrade, will only work on the exact same model you ordered it for. For sure you didn't get a brand new iMac this October, you say, so no chance it is the upgrade for that. If it is a full Retail disk you could install it. But there are a lot of issues with Leopard right now. I am going to wait.

  • N97 Automatic Retrieval Emails - Won't work

    Hi, I have had my N97 for 6 months now and it's been working fine and my emails have been automatically been retrieved every 5 minutes as set. When I wanted to upload the new Ovi Maps I did not have enoght memory so reset the phone and started all over again.
    My N97 is working fine again apart from the Automatic Retrieval for emails. I have the automatic retrieval set  (as is was set prior to the reset) but it is not now connecting every 5 mins and I have to manually connect it to see if I have any emails. When I connect manually I can retrieve emails OK and I can also send emails OK, it is the automatic retrieval that will not work, although it is set up. The phones software is also up to date.
    Any ideas anyone?

    I get a screen telling me that some of the updates require a restart and I click ok to continue and restart now.
