Set up Outlook Email to phone but it didn't import the calendar or tasks

Question

I set up my Outlook email with thePalm Pre but it never imported my calendar and the calendar does not show up in the Accounts section in Calendar. I tried to manually add the Outlook account to Calendar accounts, but the phone gave me an email address saying that an account was already using that email address. Any ideas on what I can do now?

Hello and welcome to the forums;
Is this an Exchange account? If so, when you look under Email, does it show as a POP, IMAP, or EAS account? If it is Exchange and it does not show as EAS, you will need to delete the account and re-add it as an EAS account. This will let your calendar sync with your device.
If it is not an Exchange account and is just a stand-alone Outlook, you would need to use our data transfer assistant to transfer your calendar to your device. This is a one-time process, after which you would update your calendar on your device only, unless you choose to sync your calendar with Google.
