Set up scenario: company branches treated as customer (OM)but not invoiced

hi friends
is it possible in Oracle to treat company profit centers or branches as customer wherein we can use Order Management to process sales orders and subsequently maintaining them as if as customers but not generating an invoice instead a delivery receipt only.
no sales invoice will be genarated because sales transactions will be treated as intercompany transfers only but there is the need to update their ledgers because they are actually paying for their orders.
really quite complicated !!!
how can i set up this in Oracle.

I hope we can't map as the delivery will be processed only if the invoiceable flags for the SO line item is enables in the item master.And more over as it treated as Internal sale order there won't be any issues in generating the invoices as the balance will knock out in the profil and loss account.

  • 3D Render shows shadows/reflections in Custom View, but not in camera

    All vector content, extruded text and a simple ground plain to catch shadows, 50% reflective.
    The custom view shows all shadows & reflections correctly, but the camera will not show them.
    I've deleted / re-created cameras, lights, floor plains AND objects without solving the issue - it's the first time it's occurred in many similar projects.
    Win7 x64, 32Gb RAM (plenty), nVidia K5000 with 4GB handling previews & rendering. The problem persists even if switching to CPU rendering (which takes ages, obviously) so the driver is not to blame.
    Any ideas?

    If you start a new project, create a floor, add a 3D text layer, add a camera using one of the presets say 50mm lens, add a light and set up your extrusion and add shadows does it work? If not then reboot. If you can solve the problem with a new project then import your project that does not work and see if that works by copying and pasting layers one at a time into the comp that works to figure out where the differences lie. If that doesn't work try posting the project so we can take a look at it.

    Background: I've been capturing 1080i HDV footage, editing in iMovie. I export from iMovie to Quicktime to share with folks, using the 'Expert Settings' option to manage size and quality.
    Problem: Movies look OK when I use some of the size choices in the menu, like NTSC "720x486 16:9". But if I try to enter in my own custom 16:9 dimension, e.g. 800x450, the video appears to be the same size on screen but looks lousy. Specifically, there is a clear interlace artifact in any areas with motion.
    I'd stick with the NTSC outputs as they look OK when played in QT player, but the aspect ratio is always messed up when played inside a web browser. And I'd like to choose other sizes, like 400x225 for web playback etc.

    Note that the settings (apart from size) are the same for both: I'm not using/changing deinterlacing, adjusting aspect ratios, etc. The only difference is that I used the drop-down 'NTSC 720x486' choice in the first, and manually entered 853x480 in the second. (As I understand it, 853x480 = 720x486 w/ the whole square/non-square pixel thing)
    Any ideas what's going on? I'd like to use some 16:9 proportions other than the drop-down choices without having the picture look so interlace-y. How on earth does Apple make the deinterlacing look so good in preset sizes, that I can't seem to duplicate otherwise (not even in Compressor)?

    Do you have QuickTime Pro? If so, one way to bypass the "Custom" size is to export with QuickTime Pro instead of iMovie.
    Open the "Timeline Movie.mov" that's inside the iMovie project. (Control-click on the project icon and choose Show Package Contents from the popUp menu. The Timeline Movie.mov file is inside the Cache folder. Double-click on it to open in QuickTime Pro.)
    Press Command-I (that's an eye) to open a window that shows the movie size. Drag the resize thumb in the lower right corner of the movie to the size you want.
    Now do your export, but instead of configuring a custom export size, choose the "Current" size setting.
    For testing, you may want to try this on a small chunk of the Timeline.mov. Copy a few seconds of the movie, create a new movie, and Paste. Export that.

    You're using an IMAP account.  Not sure if you can set up hotmail as a POP account.

    I add a new field in a custom table, did Table Maintenance generator and SE93.  But that field did not show on SM30 screen.  How to make it show on the SM30?

    I think its the Problem with TMG.
    Go to TMG screen delete the old TMG and regenerate the new TMG

  • Trying to create custom theme but not able to find it.

    I am using Oracle 10g Database Express and APEX 4.0 and am trying to create a custom theme based on an existing one.
    I have created a theme_100 folder in the filesystem as a copy of theme_8 and have edited the css file & changed the colours of the images using Infraview graphics editor.
    I then have uploaded them into the DB using the WebDav function and can see the files when I run http://localhost:8080/i/themes/theme_100/
    However, within the application builder when I create an application and choose a theme, mine is not showing.
    Can you help me with whatever steps I am missing?

    The templates used by your new theme in apex(that you created when you copied) would still be referencing your old css path.
    So update check the templates used in your new theme for the referred css files

    Hi i have a Windows Live Account and have been trying to set up my 'Mail" account. I can set it up to send my messages but am unable to get it to receive my mail. Does anyone know how it should be set up in case I've set one part of it wrong or how I would find out what is preventing it from working?

    iMessage and FaceTime went down yesterday for some people. Mine is still down. My iMessage is saying the same thing about being activated. Sounds like you are still down too. Ignore the status page that says everything is fine - it lies.

  • Setting to show text (sms) notification on lock screen but not message content

    Just about every phone I have will give a notification of a new text while locked. I know the iphone goes one step further shows a preview and who it's from.
    For privacy reasons (work and personal) I might not want people to see who is texting me or what it says. I would like a simple message saying "2 new messages", or "1 missed call" on the lock screen, so I do not have to unlock it every time to check.
    How do I do this?

    Settings > Notifications.
    Select Messages.
    Set it to Banners or None.
    Show preview Off.
    Badge App icon On. (This is the little red number on the icon showing how many new messages you have).

  • I had a shared mobileme account for my work calendar- 4 people sharing call using one set of calendars.  It is on my mac but not on my iphone anymore...just 3 of my calendars went to icloud.  Any idea how to get the calendars from a "family" mobileme?

    I had a group account on mobileme...a family pack that each of us at work had an individual account and we all shared one account in the family.  It kept our work calendar- a schedule telling who is in the office and who is on call.  This is still on my macBook but not on my phone or my iPad.  Any idea how I make my phone show the calendars on my MacBook?  It was there before I went to iCloud.

    If your email account offers a webmail access, I suggest checking the webmail - log in to your account using the webmail access, and I predict you will see all those "unread" emails there and can dispose of them from there.
    This happens because the iPhone that went bad, when reading those emails, did not remove them from your email provider's servier.

  • Page viewer webpart (set to network folder) works in ie11...but not ie9

    I have configured a pvwp to point to a network folderon my app sever.
    Any user running ie 11 who opens the page containing the webpart can see the contents of the shared folder.
    Any user running ie 9 who opens the page containing the webpart sees a browsers error saying: Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage.
    If I have a user with IE 9 log in to sharepoint using a PC running IE 11 they are then able to see the content so it does not appear to be user permissions (in sharepoint or on the share) related.
    Does anyone have any ideas on this?

    As I understand, page viewer web part works in IE11 but not in IE9 with same user account.
    Could you please test the issue on other browsers and see if it works? Make sure you are using 32-bit IE browser.
    Please perform the steps below on your IE9:
    1.Reset IE settings via Internet Explorer options > Advanced tab > Reset.
    2.Add your SharePoint sites to trusted sites or local intranet sites via Internet Explorer options > Security tab.
    3.Use Compatibility settings for your SharePoint sites.
    4.You could also try installing latest update to your IE 9.

  • Company Code in T001 but not T880?

    Hi,
    I am abapper and need some advice on HR company code config. I have searched the forum but could not find exact answer.
    There are company codes which exist on T001 but not on T880. Am I correct in saying that these T001 codes must have been  maintained via SM30? I assume so because I cannot find SPRO path that would update only T001 and not T880 i.e. I see there is ES -> Definition -> FI -> Define company, but this updates to T880.
    Is there any logic as to why company codes are created only on T001 and not T880? (I am trying to understand why this is set up as such).
    If company codes are created via SPRO path above would they appear in both T880 and T001?
    All advice greatly appreciated.

    A company is an organizational unit in Accounting which represents a business organization according to the requirements of commercial law in a particular country.
    A company can comprise one or more company codes.
    All company codes for a company must work with the same operational chart of accounts and fiscal year. The currencies used can be different.  It is prepared to show different balance sheets.
    In HR, it is assinged to Personnel Area in table V_T500P from where it is displayed in IT0001.

    Vendor treat as customer , i had done all settings as per vendor & customer master data.
    1) Vendor treat as customer this is also one of the scenario in Dairy. when vendor invoice amount & customer invoice amount should be deducted & display in F-53 & FBL1N.
    Example:
                  Vendor Invoice Rs.125000.00
               Customer Invoice Rs. 75000.00
                         Total Amount 45000.00
    2) When i do payment to vendor in F-53 ,only display Rs.45000.00
    So what should i do for this plz guide me .

    What I understand is that you have a vendor invoice for 125000/- and a customer Invoice for 75000/-.
    As this customer is also a vendor you need at the time of making the balance amount of 50000/- you only want this 50000/- to appear in the open item list.
    I the above understanding of mine is correct,
    You need to change your process. You advice your client to first do residual clearing using F-44.
    Then at the time of payment using f-53 you will get the balance 50000/- is only displayed.
    keep in mind that the number ranges that you are having in you system. The system will generate a new document with a different number.

    In which scenarios, the customer master will be created only with general data and sales area data.
    Why in such scenarios the company code data is not included.

    Business might have clients/Cusotmers exist across the country or with various branches. But Procurement & payment of procured goods will be done only by Head Office, not by the branch offices.
    in such case, Head Office treated as Sold to, Bill to & payer, where as all branches treated as Ship to. So these branch offices need not have Company Code data maintained.
    All or Few branches may not have access to place the order.  Even if Sold to party is different to Payer, then there is no need to maintain Company Code data for those Sold To.
    This is very normal in any business.
