SetSelectedValue() on Radio Button only executes one time in Design Studio 1.2

Using Design Studio 1.2 - I've placed an image on our dashboard that acts as refresh button. When the image is clicked, two radio buttons on the screen should get reset to their default values. The code only executes properly the first time, and any subsequent try does nothing. Does anyone know why this might be happening?
Step 1. Place the image on the screen
Step 2. Add code to On Click event to change values of two Radio Buttons: RB_ORG_LEVEL and RB_YEAR.
Step 3. Change values in both Radio Buttons to any value but their default value.
Step 4. Click the refresh image the first time, and both values get set back to their default values ("Entire Org" and "Current Year").
Step 5. Click the refresh image the second time, and even though the code programmatically sets them to their default values ("Entire Org" and "Current Year"), the change doesn't occur.

How to approve the request only for one time for human task in BPM Worklist

I'm having a requirement where i have made the hierarchy in the .task file where in created two users for which i need an approval in a hierarchical manner. But when i'm approving the request from worklist app for one user and the request is going sucessfully to the second user and if i approve it over there it once again coming to first user where i have approve it once again to get the request processed. how to get request processed only for one time when it is approved. Do we need to customize anything
If you did it can anybody can share thoughts on this please. Your help is highly appreciated.
I am not able to see the rejected request at all. where to see the rejected request.

Following are the some important points you should understand about ESS Leave Request Workflow
1. The Visualization ( how should it appear in UWL and what should happen when you click on a particular workitem) is defined in SWFVISU. Check for TS12300097. Generally, it invokes com.sap.xss.hr.lea.appl/LeaveRequestApprover Java WebDynpro application. Just check whether you are able to get the correct Leave Processing application called when you execute your workitem from UWL?
2. In general it should have option to process the leave request either approve/reject. When the leave request gets approved/rejected the status of the Leave Request document gets changed ( in workflow it is &REQ.STATUS&
3. There is a need to schedule a background job for program RPTARQPOST which will pick up all the documents in APPROVED status and creates an absence record for the same.
4. Apart from schedule job as mentioned above, you also have to schedule a background job for program RPTARQEMAIL, which is basically used to send e-mails for all the documents which are yet to be approved to correct manager.
as you say , you can not see Approve/Reject options from UWL, it looks to me that correct javawebdynpro application is not being called for this task. Just check this !!

Under the movies radio button, only 8 of 460 movies are listed

After my latest update (12/24/12), when I have selected "movies" in the dropdown menu on the left corner of itunes and select the movies radio button, only 8 of the 460 movies in my itunes library are shown. The same eight are the only ones shown when I select the "unwatched" button. Where the others appear, however, is under the "home videos" and "list" bottons. Why are the videos missing from the "movies" button, why were they classed as home videos, and how do I reclassify them as movies?

Select one or more movies in your collection. Choose Get Info. Select the Options tab and change Media Kind to Movie. The modified items will alphabetically show under Movies when you are in the Movies section of iTunes 11.

Use the property "Controls[ ]" - this gives you an array with references of each single button in the radio buttons control. These you can access with property nodes too.

WLI Process only execute one at a time

Hi Guys,
I am new to WLI, and have what could be a simple question:
I have a seperate java program that puts messages one by one in sequence onto a JMS queue.
I have built a channel and a JPD that subscribes to this channel. The purpose of the JPD is to take the message from the incoming JMS queue, perform some adhoc functionality, and then return the message to a different outgoing JMS queue.
This works fine, however how do I ensure that only one JPD process is executed in full, before another is started.
e.g of problem: if a really big message is put onto the incoming JMS queue, it might take 10seconds to process, but in that time another message (small) is put onto the incoming queue. This means that another process instance kicks off, and that the second message is put onto the outgoing queue FIRST because it takes less time to process.
How do I ensure that the JPD process only executes once in full, at a time?
At the moment, the JPD has "stateless" set to false.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I think if you follow a similar technique as outlined in http://edocs.bea.com/workshop/docs81/doc/en/integration/samples/sampleSuppressible.html?skipReload=true then it should work. The key points are to have a synchronous subscription to a MB channel, performing all your processing within this block, and to set the JMS event generator pool size to 1.

Why does your "Most Visited" button list mostly one-time-only web pages instead of ones I visit several times per day?

Most Visited drop-down lists mostly one-time visit web pages, and includes unrecognizable pages. Does not show pages I visit several times during the day.

Among the alternatives not mentioned... Using a TiVo DVR, rather than the X1; a Roamio Plus or Pro would solve both the concern over the quality of the DVR, as well as providing the MoCA bridge capability the poster so desperately wanted the X1 DVR to provide. (Although the TiVo's support only MoCA 1.1.) Just get a third-party MoCA adapter for the distant location. Why the hang-up on having a device provided by Comcast? This seems especially ironic given the opinions expressed regarding payments over time to Comcast. If a MoCA 2.0 bridge was the requirement, they don't exist outside providers. So couldn't the poster have simply requested a replacement XB3 from the local office and configured it down to only providing MoCA bridging -- and perhaps as a wireless access point? Comcast would bill him the monthly rate for the extra device, but such is the state of MoCA 2.0. Much of the OP sounds like frustration over devices providing capabilities the poster *thinks* they should have.

One pair of radio buttons to control multiple text objects - Designer 8.0

Greetings - a big thank you in advance for any assistance. I have often found answers to my problems on this forum, but have been unable to find an answer to the following.
The short of it - is it possible to make a pair of radio buttons control the visibility of multiple text objects with the same name(I have had success in manipulating only a single text object with one pair of buttons)?
The long of it - I am trying to make a form bilingual based on the value of a radio button group to control the visibility of the text object in the selected language. When the user selects the language they wish to see, all the text objects in the form switch to that language. I am working with a dynamic PDF.
I have succeeded to a very limited extent in manipulating one text object by overlaying text objects in both languages, setting one object to "invisible" as default, and controlling that text objects visibility with the following JavaScript in the click event of the radio button group:

The problem is I need to manipulate the visibility of all text objects with the same name on the form with a single radio button group. I have tried writing the code as one does for the sum of a repeating field, ie. English[*].presence etc. however I get a C++ error in preview.

To access objects with the same name you need to deal with occurance numbers. If your object is called TextField then the 1st occurance will be TextField[0], the second occurance will be TextField[1] etc.....
The issue is that the [] in javascript are interpretted as an array element so you have to use the syntax: xfa.reolveNode("string") to get to your object names. In your case you would use:
xfa.resolveNode("TextField[1]").presence = "visible"
This string syntax allows you to use a var to hold the index number and is very useful with for loops where you want to set large numbers of objects. So if the index was held in the var i then your syntax would be:
xfa.resolveNode("TextField[" + i + "]").presence = "visible"
If the objects are in a repeating subform then the occurance numbers are on the subform and not the object. You can always get the expression to use by app.alert(objectname.somExpression). This will return the expression that you need to create.

First of all radio buttons can not bet checked. Radio buttons can be selected only.
I need if the first radiobutton is checked to execute this trigger, and if not execute another triggerSo, as andreas said its fine enough to accomplish your requirement.
Suppose you created two radio buttons in radio group. And you set the value 1 and 2 accordingly. Now create one trigger called WHEN-RADIO-BUTTON-CHANGED on item level radio group and use the code like this...
IF :radio_button=1 THEN
-- Here paste your when validate item trigger's code...
ELSE
-- Here paste your another trigger's code...
END IF;
And remove that triggers which you created.

Radio Buttons only work after selecting another field

In my Access 2010 database, I have an option group consisting of 3 radio buttons. If I select the first button I Access will allow me, but if I then want to change my selection to the third button I can only do so if I select another field
before I can make the button change. Now, if I want to change my selection again from the third button to the second button, I must select another field then select the second button.
I just can't figure out what is going on here. Does anyone have any clue or explanation that will help me??? Thank you!

I will add that originally this option group of radio buttons was working perfectly fine. This issue surfaced when I included a tab control to the form and moved all the fields onto the first tab.
It seems that having to select another field before changing a radio selection is limited when using the mouse; however, if I use any of the up/down or left/right arrow keys on the keyboard it will change radio button selections without selecting another field
(as one would expect it to).

Probably it has something to do with the focus of the form (first tab) with the radio buttons. Someway that form looses focus when clicking a radio button. By selecting another field the form receives focus again, so you can use the radio buttons again.
You can check it happens in this way.

Network printer will only print one time

the printer ( HP Laserjet CM2320 MFP) (Driver PCL 6)is networked on a print server running server 2012, the computer operating system is Win 7 fully updated, other people can print to it without issue.
the user can print to it one time. after the first print, you can no longer right click and chose printer preferences or printer properties. Then she needs to log out of the computer and back in to print again. if i have tried to open the printer properties,
they will open just before the computer logs out. this is the only printer she has.
things i have tried are removing and re installing the printer, uninstalling the all the print drivers on the computer, using the most updated drivers on the server and the computer. i also went into Printer Properties, ports tab, unchecked Enable bidirectional
support on both server and PC. checked after each change. also under the advanced tab i unchecked the Enable advanced printing features. both server and PC. checked after each change. when i tried to un-install the print drivers on the PC, i needed to rename
the reg keys because they were in use, remove the drivers and rename the reg keys back to the right name. i am sure i forgot some things i have tried, but if you need any other information let me know.

Depends on many things.
If your system is Lion, XP can only be installed under VM. BootCamp in Lion only accepts Windows 7.
As to "one use only", if you are referring to OEM ...
A reinstall can trigger the OS to "not register" because "a major component serial number or MAC (the network MAC chip) address" has changed, according to MS databases.
But you can call MS to get the key reactivated, usually/sometimes. It is worth a try, at least, before spending money on another Windows 7 package. But this discussion should end *now* at "maybe" as it treads close to matters that forum Terms-of-Use would prefer we not discuss.

Button set to infinite attempts only works one time

I have a project that includes branching into five topic areas. There is a "menu" type page with five buttons on it. Each button is set to allow infinite attempts. Each button is set to "jump to" different slides within the project. When the user finishes reviewing that branch, they return to this menu page and can either select another button to jump to another slide, or they should be able to go back in and review the same area again. However, the button they just clicked will no longer work.
In my troubleshooting, I have tried using Click Box and Transparent button types. I have tried both with and without the "Include in quiz" setting. I have tried changing "infinite" attempts to "100" attempts. Nothing seems to allow the user to execute the action on that button a second time. Any ideas?

Data missing in PDF output generated by RDF locally only for one time.

Hi All,
Could any one please help me in finding the reason of the below mentioned issue.
I have downloaded an RDF onto local machine and changed only sorting of few columns required.
After that I had generated PDf output on local machine for first few times PDF is generated with correct output.
Unfortunately when I again generated PDF output as final version, a few columns are missed in displaying in the PDF output. again I ran the RDF for next time and the PDF is generated correctly.
Now I want to know what may be the reason that for that time only PDF generated with missing data.
FYI, Problem occured in Report Builder *9.0.4.0.33*
This reason is really urgent and needfull for me.

What is the report orientation PORTRAIT/LANDSCAPE? What happens if you set the SYSTEM PARAMETER ORIENTATION to PORTRAIT/LANDSCAPE upon your report output and then generate again. While saving as PDF also see the page orientation.
