I am using this WAP in our Wi-Fi LAB as part of WI-Fi Alliance certification.
You are using the wrong model of WAP then. For Indian Regulatory Domain, you need "-N". The WAP you have is "-A".
1. If you want 802.11b ONLY then you CANNOT enable 802.11 b and n. 802.11n requires you to use 802.11a radio and bonded. It doesn't make any practical sense to have 802.11b and you want to run 802.11n because 802.11b only has three channels.
2. If you want 802.11b ONLY, then you only allow the data rates for 802.11b, and they are: 1-, 2-, 5.5-, and 11 Mbps.
Read this document: Capacity Coverage & Deployment Considerations for IEEE 802.11g and look at Table 4. This will guide you which are the data rates for 802.11b and 802.11g.

For most routers, including the AirPorts, bridge mode disables both the NAT & DHCP services. Since NAT is disabled, all of the firewall ports on the AirPort are open and thus port mapping/forwarding would not be reqiured. Therefore if you configure your AirPort as a bridge, the port mapping optios will not be available.
Since you have two AirPort routers, you would only need to configure the AirPort that is NOT in bridge mode for port mapping to allow communicaton coming in from the Internet. This would typically be the AirPort attached directly to the Internet.

Can you clarify what you mean by the data synchronization mode?
If you mean the Sync Mode, then in 10.1.3 you set this property by:
1. Selecting your DataBindings.cpx file
2. Expanding the "Data Control Usages" section in the structure window
3. Selecting the ADFBC-based data control
4. Setting the "syncMode" property in the property inspector.

Pumpkin-Hill, Let's get your ringtone working properly. Go to settings and tools, press 'ok', select sound settings, press 'ok', choose call sounds. then press 'ok' and select call ringtone and select the desired tone. Let us know if this helps.

Extreme AP doesn't show in 802.11B/G mode

I'm using a macbook pro 2.0ghz, and just bought an 802.11n Airport Extreme.
I have nothing new in software update control panel. I'm running 5.2.1 Airport Utility,
My airport extreme has the green light, and via the ethernet port I can connect to the web.
When I set it to 802.11N, I can see/connect to it wirelessly and get to the web.
When I set it to 802.11B, I can't see the AP, or connect to it via manual join. But I can still connect over ethernet of course.
None of my other laptops/iphone can't see it in 802.11B mode either. I do NOT have closed network enabled, it should be broadcasting for the world.
So what gives? My airport 802.11B base station worked great (I unplugged it during this). But my 802.11N Extreme doesn't seem to work as 802.11B/G, even though it's a selectable option.
Anyone else seeing this?

Although it should change automatically when you change to 802.11b/g, verify that the radio mode is switching to 2.4 GHz.

Creating a 802.11g network with Base Station in "802.11n only" mode

I still have some legacy products running 802.11b/g, and want my Base Station to run in "n" only mode at 5GHz to keep the rest of the network as fast as possible.
My current strategy is to take an old 802.11g router, put it into access point mode, and connect it to the Base Station with an ethernet cable.
Unfortunately, this access point seems to fail frequently - connected devices can't find the access point, and rebooting the access point will temporarily fix the problem.
I'm wondering if an AirPort Express can replace the access point. It can run as "create a wireless network" in a mixed b/g/n mode. I would then cable it to the base station.
Will this slow down the remainder of the "pure" "n" network?

I was asking something similar in another thread. What I'd like to do is run my existing b/g AP as it is and enable an Airport Extreme Base Station in AP mode in n-only mode. Supposedly, you can do this.

Airport Express - Extreme: only 6 MBit in 5 GHz 802.11n-only mode??

I got an Airport Express (early 2008 model) a few weeks ago that I used in client-mode (aka "join a wireless network") in my 54 MBit WLAN.
Eventually, everything worked as I wanted and I basically always got connection speeds of 48 MBit or 54 MBit.
So yesterday, I got an Airport Extreme Base Station (802.11n model with GBit-LAN) and used it to create a new wireless network.
The settings are: 802.11n only, 5 GHz, wide channels.
Using my MacBook, I can connect to the AEBS with speeds up to 270 MBit.
But when I make the Airport Express join the new Draft-N WLAN, I only get connection speeds of 6 MBit, and that's even when I place the Express 10cm away from the Extreme.
The wireless monitor (Airport Utility->Advanced) for the Extreme shows a signal strength of -30 dBm and -95 dBm noise - still only 6 MBit connection speed.
Using my MacBook, I get much worse values but much higher connection speeds.
Both Airport devices have the latest firmware and wide channels are enabled on both, too.
I'm suspecting there might be something wrong with my Express (5GHz antenna maybe?).
Does anyone have an idea? Should I call Apple?

Problem solved:
As soon as I attach an Ethernet device to the AP Express, it's MAC address shows up in the Extreme's wireless monitor with reasonable speed while the MAC address of the Express is still listed with 6 MBit.
Looks like a "feature" of the bridge mode - when I deselect "allow ethernet clients" the "real" connection speed shows up.

Purchase Order form in Query only mode for some users

Hi All,
I want to make the Purchase Orders form as query only for a single user. I tried by giving 'Query_only=Yes' in the parameters section. I am getting 'FRM-04151: You cannot query records here' message more than 10 time. I know we get this message and this is applicable to all the users. But this message is comming more than 10 times.
Is there anyway that I can restrict the Query only mode to a single user and please suggest about the message also.

Since you want to achieve this for one user only, I would suggest you create a new function/menu/responsibility and assign this responsibility to the user.

Querying up AR Customer OA page in read-only mode for a Single Customer

We are building a Custom Form in which associated Customer <defined in AR> would be queried up.
Now we want to give an option to the User to view the complete details of the Customer. We would be giving a menu option in Tools 'View Customer' thru which he would see the Full Customer Details. <AR Customer OA page>
We have two requirements
1> The Full Customer Details should show up in Standard OA Customer Page the moment page comes up. The user should not be required to query the details.
2> It should be read-only and user should not be able to update any field.
How can we achieve this requirement? I did some RnD but did not see any place in EBS where we display the Customer Page in read-only mode and that too quried up for one particular customer.

but removing DB read only user is impossible.....

Is the a way to put my Essbase Db with Historical values in read-only?, I found that the Maxl Archieve option will do but I don't know if this is only for backup.

If you want to put the entire database into read-only mode, SoL (love that name) gave you the right direction.
If you only want to put part of the database into read-only mode, e.g., 2007 through 2009 data, you can use READ filters to do this.

I have built one dynamiv ALV and I have one name column inside that ALV for which I have to set read only property based on two column fields that exist in the same ALV,say IS_SP and IS_CORP of type boolean.
If any one of the flag is 'X',i have to make that name column as display only and
If both flag are not set,it should be displayed as ediatable column.
I have written one method as INIT_ALV which gets called when ALV is loaded.
Code is as follows:

Is there a projector only mode for MacBooks?

I have a friend with a old MacBook he's hooked up to a HDTV. The MacBook itself is in a cupboard though so we want a projector only mode. Toggling display modes gave laptop only, extend and clone modes but no projector only. Couldn't find anything online either about it. Please help

Same problem here, and I havent been able to find a solution. I think its just one of those things that Mac software should have learned from Windows and implemented already (another great thing that people have been complaining about for years that has never been implemented in Mac OS is the ability to disable mouse acceleration).

It seems feature. Shuttle is span tag when it is read only.
Work around could be that
you compute display as text item with LOV display value according shuttle session state and show shuttle and this item conditionally depend case
