Setting a '%' after the enter_query command...
Hi,
I have written an "enter_query" command in WHEN-NEW-FORM-INSTANCE....
After that i want to set a '%' into a block item which is dababase based.....
How can i do that.....????

I have tried various solutions(built-in procs) .....

in both PRE-QUERY and afterwards the enter-query command(in when-new-form-instance)... but no desired result....- i mean the character '%' is not written in the block item!!!!!

Permissions will not set, even after using terminal commands?

I found a thread on here for using the terminal to type in commands for the user permissions and for the PSIX permissions on Leopard (10.5) server. These commands are supposed to clean the server of all underlying(hidden) permissions that you cant see and then you are supposed to be able to then set the permissions again and finally, to hit "Propagate Permissions" so that all the permissions set for the shared volume then get farmed out to all sub files/folders. This did not work when I tried it in the terminal, it said "Command not found" even after I typed in the admin password. Is there anyone out there who can tell me the actual way to fix the old permissions and get new ones set?
The story is: We had an old server on a G4 when i first took control of the server, I took the shared hard drive out of the G4 and inserted it into a G5 and started using it with the leopard server. the permissions did not really need to be set on that volume because they had carried over from the last time they were shared. But we recently just got a Drobo unit for our server and I recently transferred all the shared files and folders over to the new volume, but ever since I cant get the permissions to farm out to all the stations, it shows me that its done on the server. But when I go to access the files I am able to delete faculty folders where I had set the permissions to "read only" so I am wondering if there is a streamlined way of going about this or if I should just start from scratch and use all brand new HDD's?

Photos dont set right after the up date on screen
after I dated 7.0.4 the screen photos do not fit the screen like they did before the up date...I tryed everything..they worked great before the up date for the ipad
I did run disc utility off the install disc and ran disk repair on both the volume and permissions before running the verbose mode. Do you think it would make sense that I still get that corrupt mDNSResponder.plist file? Just curious.
Unfortunately, the Disk Repair feature of the Disk Utility does not necessary "fix" corrupted .plist files ... so, yes, I would think that you could still have a corrupted mDNSResponder.plist file even after running it.
Do you have any idea what that mDNSResponder.plist file may be and if it could be related to setting file sharing or turning off my firewall, both of which I did right before this problem?
OS X uses the mDNSResponder process for both unicast DNS and Bonjour functions. Unicast DNS resolution is used to resolve hostnames like www.google.com. It would be related to file sharing as it would be necessary for local host name resolution.
To boot off a clone, power-down your Mac. Plug in the clone drive, and then, power-up the Mac again. Your Mac should find and boot off the bootable clone drive. -
Changing label set names after the fact
Hi,
Let's assume I have applied the standard labels to a set of images. Now, I decide that Red, Green, Blue,... are not self explanatory enough and I change the names of the default label set (this also applies to a custom label set).
Problem: for all images marked with the original label set, the label color switches back to white because the new names are not recognized.
How can I make the new names apply to the already marked images?

Glad you got it set now
That's not the case. My previous message explained what I exactly did but as I said, this procedure failed. When I deleted the temporary collections that I created (one for each label), all labels were switched to Custom (white). Here is exactly what happened:
1. I started with the standard label names (Red = Red, Green = Green,...). I had a lot of images in various folders marked with these labels.
2. I created a collection for each label (Red Collection containing only images with the red label, Green collection,...)
3. I changed the label names (Red = To be fixed, Gree = Ready to print,...)
4. I selected each collection and applied the corresponding new label. No problem.
5. Once all marked images had the label with the correct (new) name, I deleted the temporary collections which were now useless.
6. After I did this, all marked images were assigned the same label (Custom = White). All previous label attributes were lost.
It seems that labels are valid only within a collection and that the same image can have different attributes depending on whether you look at it through a collection or directly in a folder. So the whole approach doesn't work.

A description of the problem will appear along with edit which opens the full airport utility to allow you to fix the issue. But it is probably in your case just typical Mountain Lion has lost its network marbles and cannot find the TC anymore.. or the TC lost its marbles and cannot find the modem.. especially over wireless losing ones marbles is fairly common. -
WEBUTIL problems importing a file with the HOST command.
We are investigating a problem where the users are trying to import a file in from the webserver to be used by the application. The users have successfully moved the file from their local PC to the application server. But, when we perform a HOST command to have the form moved to the UNIX directory, the form hangs. The very last statement of the .BAT file used in the HOST command does the move of the file. And, we can see the entire file in the UNIX directory, we just don't get return back to the form.
I added displays before and after the HOST command in the form. I see the display before the command but don't receive anything after. The weird thing is this is only happening in our development server. The same issue is not happening in production. Also, if I run the form in client server mode, it works fine also. So, it has to be something on the development application server.
If anyone has any advice, I would appreciate their help.
Thanks.On the server (assuming Windows since you mention a batch file), locate the Oracle Process Manager Service (for mid tier) on the MS Services Console. Open the properties for this service and click on the "Log on" tab. Check the box labeled "Allow service to interact with desktop".
That said, if you are executing a batch file on the Windows server to transfer another file to a Unix machine, the above likely won't work either. This is because Windows will not allow a service permission to access network resources (for security purposes). In this case, rather than the above, you will need to change the same setting so a real domain user and not the "Local System" account. -
Error message"Could not complete the Save command......
Sometimes when I open Photoshop CS6 (cloud version) and I try to save my work I wil get an error message: "Could not complete the save command because the document is currently being saved in the background. Please try the operation again after the Save Command has finished" Well the background save never finishes and I end up having to restart Photoshop and lose all my work. Any ideas. I am running Windows 7, core i& quad procewssor and 12 gigs of ram.

Can't set brightness after screen blanking
After last update, I can't set brightness after the screen goes off because of inactivity, before that everything works normally.
When I reboot brightness setting works, as is after suspend/unsuspend.
The laptop is Dell Latitude D830.

Can you share your kernel version and graphics controller information, please? I had a similar issue with my graphics controller after upgrading to the 3.x kernel in core. -

I have tried changing the "DataSourceMode" as below, now the insert command is working, but update command is not working.

While there can be many causes for this generic error message, in my case the first parameter or ddwrt:DataBind function inside the SharePoint:FormFields element was
'i' and I was working with an Edit Form. Changing it to

I dont see any problem with you code. I ran your code in my system and worked fine. Except for one thing that is you need to do a conversion exit on the w_vbeln before selecting data from VBAP in method load data. This is because when you ouput the data, the VBELN is converted to external format and thus needs to be converted to internal format if you want to do further selects based on it.

Executing multiple IOS commands one after the other with a delay

As part of my monitoring solution, I have scheduled scripts running on my routers to do various tasks, now I am trying to do trace route to about 10 routers from a seed router to track the path of the trace and if it changes i would be alerted.
What I am having difficulty is doing one trace commands from a text file. Example follows:
Trace 10.10.10.1
Trace 10.20.10.1
Trace 10.30.10.1
The command will stop right after the first line, is there a way in IOS to do a “wait” statement between each command to get this going?

For EEM, though, you do not need to be enabled. You can register an EEM policy, then anyone on the box can execute it. EEM is also built around Tcl, so the same code could be added to such a policy.
