Setting for no dependent reqmt should generate for bulk material

Hello guys,
I know that for bulk materials system doesn't create any dependent reqmt. In other words system doesn't consider these materials in planning run.But for information purpose you can see the planned order no for bulk material in production order of above material.
My question is where we maintain the settings for bulk material that system shouldn't create dependent requirements for them?

As u know u can define Bulk material at MRP view of Material Master.
Please check with "Excl Bulk material" check box under the BOM Explosion tab at OPPQ for your Plant.

Field selected
No dependent requirements are created for informational purposes for bulk material items in the plant selected. This can improve system performance.
Field not selected
Dependent requirements are created for bulk material items in the plant selected. These dependent requirements are displayed in the planned order for informational purposes only. They are not considered in the net requirements calculation; that is, they are not included in material requirements planning (MRP) and are not displayed in the stock/requirements list

Dependent reqmts not generating

Hi Experts
I created a planned order for the Finished product, I converted into Production order.
Iam not getting Planned orders/ Purchase Requisations for my dependent requirements,,
If i check in MD04 for dep items it is showing "ordres" in MRP element. Iam not able to see either Planned Orders/Purchase Req why?
One more thing is there any list to see Pending Planned orders for Dependent requirements.

As per your reply , what i understood is , you are getting planned order for your header material based on your requirement after MRP and for child material (dependent) dept requirements have created, No planned order/pur req ...
i hope ur child material doesnot have stock. Please give us some details.
1.whether your child Material is RAW material type or..
2.i hope child material MRP type Not equal to PD.
3.have u assigned any MRP group for your child material.
4."Md04 - Header material Planned order, any exception messages "
5.please check if header material BOM is exploded.
6.please check have u set any "Plant-sp.mat status" for child material material Master.

I created a sub contracting PO, with the bulk material indicator being ticked in MRP 2 view for the parent material.
Now at the time of Making GRN, i can not see the 543 movement for parent item (which is sent to vendor for processing via 541 movement).
Please help. Is this a standard behaviour of the system. ??

ME21N : account assignment mandatory for bulk material

Dear guru.
For a raw material used as bulk in production with material type ROH and quantity/value updating I need that when I create purchase order the system send an error message that account assignment is mandatory.
I know that for an NLAG or UNBW material type the system send this message.
For internal reason I need to maintain material type ROH with quantity/value updating , do you know a solution , any exit , in order to solve my problem ?

position type L means it is a inventory managed material.
why do want the material to be inventory managed and at the same time dont want to record consumption movements?

Information message in BDC BOM for bulk material

Hello,
I am worrking on the BDC with "CS01" ( BOM creation ). If the componant is bulk material the system will give the Information messsage, which stops the BOM creation.
I tried to code an extra "Enter" if the material is Bulk material but it is not working.
Please suggest.

Your question is not clear.
1.
If you receive your material into WM managed SLoc, you have to maintain WM view of material master.
2.
If your question is how to get rid of the WM view:
You can mark the material master at WM level for deletion or archive the material master and recreate it w/o WM view

i tried with OMS2 , it is allowing me to do for one matrial type.
could any one tell me how to hide the views for all material type in one short.

Hi Rakesh,
Up to my knowledge it is not possible to do view setting for all material type in one shot simply because it is material type dependent.
If trying to change fields in material master then use OMS9. This also material type linked to field reference group. And we can change the setting of field selection group in one shot. This will affect the material types linked to it.

SRM MM-SUS for Direct Material ( i.e. Ext Classic Scenario)

Hi Friends,
We are planning to have the Classic Scenario in SRM 7.0 with SUS. So it will be SUS-MM scenarion and it supports only for Classic Scenario,
But when there is a case of Direct Materials [ Manual or through PDP ( Ext Req) ], it is SAP by defaullt setting that , system determine Extended Classic Scenario.
Now , if SUS-MM supports only to Classic scenario ,then we can collaborate the Orders of Direct Material genereted through Ext Classic Scenario in SUS ?
Confused over these contrast . Can any one suggest that how to get both one in SUS-MM ?

It seems here is some confusion. PDP of Dircet Material is standard SRM secarion where we can soure the requieremnets generted in various SAP Module like PS, PM , SD, APO..etc. So We just hav eintenstion to source the requiermnet in Sourcing cockpit to create the PO .
Okay. For time being , forget the PDP of Direct Material.
Just take the Direct Material ( For which we mention inventory or we procure for stock) only.
By SAP standard / defualt setting , for Direct Material , local PO is generted ,althoug we have mentioned Classic Senrion setting for the same . And it is Extended Classic Scenarion. Right!
At another side , it is SAP standrad that SUS-MM senarion support for only CLASSIC SCENARIO.
Then , my conern is how we can send these Local orders for dircet Material to Supplier via SUS ? Wether it is not possible ?

The value should be set for Base image URL and Image file directory

Now customer has the following issue.
XML Publisher concurrent request, using RTF layout template with LOGO, does not generate the LOGO for Excel output.
but in output formats PDF, it is shown normally.
from the debug log, we can found the following error message

so I tell the customer to do the following action plan.
1. in XML Publisher Administrator resp > Administration expand the HTML Output section.
2a. enter a value for 'Base image URI'
2b. enter a value for 'Image file directory'
Customer set the value as following and retest this issue,but he found the issue is not solved.
Base image URI: /u01/r12/ebssnd/apps/apps_st/comn/java/classes/oracle/apps/media/XXSLI_SONY_LIFE_LOGO.gif
Image file directory: /u01/r12/ebssnd/apps/apps_st/comn/java/classes/oracle/apps/media
I verified 'Base image URI' and 'Image file directory' settings:
1) Change output type to HTML.
2) Click the Preview.
but the image is correctly displayed on HTML, so I think the issue is caused by user's uncorrectly setting of the base image URL and/or image file directory
but could anyone give me some advice on which value should be set for Base image URL and Image file directory

Next we need to know the jdev version you are using!
As the code is generated I would first try to generate it again after the db change.

MS Word for Mac has never supported Arabic. You have to use other apps. Mellel is best, but Pages 5, TextEdit, Nisus Writer, or Open/LibreOffice should work OK.
Sometimes you can make Word for Mac do connected Arabic if you are editing a document created with Windows Word.
