Setting for photo taking on N95
N95 resumes the photo taking setting to default after I change for a particular photo, i.e., switch off flash, change to close-up mode, etc. Can someone advise me how to save the setting for future use. Thanks!
Like I said you can't change it.
Many people prefer that it resets, others don't so you can't please everyone.
Unfortunately you will have to learn to live with it.

No "Shrink" option for photos in the N95-8BG !!!
I was shocked when I wanted to shrink one of my photos to send it via MMS, and found out that it is not in the options!!
This option was in N73 & N95, but not in the N95-8GB.
I think it is an essential feature when sending photos via MMS.
I already e-mailed NOKIA for this issue, and they sayed they will look into it.
It will be GREAT if more people e-mail NOKIA with this regard to have them take this issue more seriously.

1) "Messaging" - "Options" - "Settings" - "Multimedia message" - "Image size" set to "Small" will shrink all photos before sending them.

I am making a DVD for my son's classroom. I have made them before in iMovie and FCE, now I am using Final Cut Pro V.6.. I bought it last year for freelance tv work. Thank you for thaking the time to answer me. This is where I am confused. I stopped editing professionaly a few years ago right before the studio went digital, so I am winging all of this. I was never trained on the computer side. The settings I have now are: Sequence Preset: HDV-1080i60
Capture Preset: HDV
Device Control Preset: HDV FireWire Basic
Video Playback :Digial Cinema Desktop Preview-Main
and my Easy Setup Format is: Auto JPEG

As you may know, Apple has not (yet, anyway) included any Automator actions for the new Photos app. However, there is a set available from the Mac OS X Automation web site that some may find useful, & there may be others available from other third party sources too.
If you are interested in such things, the Mac OS X Automation web site is a good place to start -- not only can you download the action set, the site includes descriptions & example workflows that should make it easy to see how they can be used.
If anybody knows of any other third party sets for Photos, I would appreciate it if you would post a reply about them here.

I received an Iphone 5 as a gift two days ago. The first thing I did was set up ICloud for photos. Itunes would not allow me to add songs to my new phone without restoring it, yet when I did this, it deleted all 129 photos of my graduation and friends from the past two days. And I cannot find them anywhere, photo stream, ICloud, nothing. Where can I get back my memories?
Were the photos taken by your new iPhone? If so, did you not import them off your phone to your computer (as you would any other digital camera) before the restore? If not, restoring wiped the data off the phone and your pictures are gone.

I have a new Mac Pro. I want to use my old Mac Pro as a storage drive for photos and old documents, linked to my new Mac Pro. How do I set up the old computer? Both computers have OS X10.9.3. Currently they are connected by a Firewire 800 cable.
You certainly could keep the old Mac Pro in Firewire mode (hold down the T key on its keyboard as you boot) to show its drives on the new MP. This is basically as fast as putting the drives into a Firewire enclosure.
Or you could boot it normally and share its files over the network using the Sharing panel of System Preferences. If you turn on both File and Screen Sharing, you don't even need to have a monitor attached - you can do all administration using screen sharing. However, this method requires that you open all files over the network, which will be slower than the direct-connect method above, and may also not work with all applications.

Rgds.There is no way to set a password for photos. You could upload all of your photos to something like DropBox, then sign out of the app. Or, you could only let people you trust to respect your privacy touch your phone.

i had problem for my itunes wifi sync, in general setting itunes wifi sync, i got 2 folder name 1st one is one i want sync for app, movie,music and tones, somehow i got second one folder i dont want is photos only when plug into it only sync for photo the rest are gone on itunes screen and not sync, please help me how can i delete second one folder? i tried click on first one not moved and syns only sync on second one folder

But in both cases the file name no longer shows in the movie list, so I don't know how to re-download it from the Cloud.
iTunes prefs > Store > Show iTunes in the Cloud purchases.
This will show all your iTunes purchases in your library with a cloud icon down arrow. Click the icon to redownload or click on Play to stream without downloading.

and techncially, you don't "own" the movie, You simply have a license to use it.
Yet the first thing iTunes does when you hit the delete key is tell you that it will remove the movie forever from all devices and the library.

FYI: You should keep copies of all yoru iTnue spurahses as the labels/movie studios/copyright owners can pull their product at anytime and it won't be available to redownload.

I have used lightroom for ~2 years and have lightroom 5.5 installed on a PC. Yesterday evening I uploaded a new set of photos which I cataloged and rated as usual. After that when I switched to the develop module trouble began. First thing was when using the crop tool the picture would disappear and only reappear once I closed the tool. Then exposure and White balance changes would change the histogram but not the appearance of the photo. Finally clipping was also not appearing on the picture. I first reuploaded the photos. No effect. Then I reinstalled lightroom. No effect. Help please!

Photos taken on my Iphone do not appear in ICloud. I've checked the settings but am unable to determine

Technically, I need to review the settings on my Iphone and ICloud that will enable a seamless transfer of photos.
Additionally, I need to review the computer (microsoft)setting that enable a sync of photos with ICloud.Everything is fine, because there is no web application for photos at the moment. These are the options to view your Photo Stream:
-On your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch, your photos will appear in the Photos app in the Photo Stream album.
-On your Mac, they appear in the Photo Stream view in iPhoto or Aperture.
-On a PC, your photos download to the Photo Stream download folder. By default, this folder is located at C:\Users\Apple\Pictures\Photo Stream\My Photo Stream. You can change this location by visiting Photo Stream Options in the iCloud Control Panel for Windows.
-On Apple TV, your photos will appear in the Photo Stream view under Internet in the main Apple TV menu after you sign in with your iCloud account. -

How can I change the default setting for downloading photos from emails I receive? It shows the default as Photoshop Elements 4.0 and is not supported by this system. That was my last computer!!

SheilaThat has nothing to do with styles nor Pages, it is a System/Printer Driver setting.
You can experiment to see if the Printer Settings stick with your document, but in the past this has not worked.

I updated to 8.3 and lost photo stream on my photos - all my settings are set for photostream updating - the blue shirts at the Apple store seem to think that the feature was removed from the phones with the 8.1.3 update but it is not mentioned anywhere on Apple's site
