Setting for Speakers Balance not saved

I have a PCI Express X-Fi Xtreme Audio. It works great, with one exception: the settings in Speakers Balance (reached either via Control Panel or via the Creative Console) are not saved between sessions.
In addition, the settings are lost whenever the sound fader is temporarily set to zero.
Re-entering the settings gets old fast, so I wondere whether there is a solution.

Note 1072367 - No output medium identified error even if medium selected.
A Purchase Order is created with a vendor containing no default medium specified in the vendor master data. Now, even after selecting a valid output medium, the error message 'No output medium selected' does not go off
check with technical resource ? is it really internally makes SPACES (empty)
check any logic in your smartform.

Just sit with your ABAPer and tell hin your logic and show this Business Transaction Events.

'poster frame' for movies is not saved

Hi iTunes people,
Note - this all used to work in Leopard - this feature has become non-functional since the arrival of Snow Leopard.
When I set the POSTER FRAME, via the contextual menu that appears for an entry in the movies section of iTunes, it is not saved.
Although the 'artwork' image in the lower left of the itunes window temporarily shows the frame I selected, if I go away from that item or perform the same action on another movie, the poster frame that had been selected is gone and is replaced with whatever was there from before.
The only way it appears that one can save a poster frame is to physically drag-n-drop an image into the ARTWORK tab of the 'Get Info dialog for that item.
Does anyone have any other suggestions about how to make this feature work - without having to create and deposit artowrk into the GetInfo dialog? I lost 1900+ poster frames I had created for various movies and clips because of this problem. I really am not looking forward to again having to do all that work.

Output Medium for SRM PO not saved

Hi Gurus,
We just upgraded the landscapes with the recent servicepack level. We are using SRM 5.0 Extended classic on SP level 15.
The issue now is when PO is ordered for first time, output medium defaults to what ever the config setting has. It was not necessary to select output medium(Printer/fax/email).
But when PO is changed(not necessarily change PO data) and either check/order is selected, message 'No output medium identified' is thrown.
If you select any one of the output medium and then do the check/order, PO is processed/ordered. I am not sure if the output medium settings are not saved or being overridden during PO change. Please advise.

Nokia Maps 3.0 for WP8 Favourites not saving

Note I have found that Maps are not saving any favourites after closing out maps and reopening.
Anyone else can confirm this bug?

Color balancing not saved

I cropped a photo and did some color balancing, I did not add any layers, then saved the photo. However if I view in a photo viewer or just in windows explorer with large icons or print the photo none of the editing, except the cropping, are applied, ie no color change.
If i just open it in PS the changes are still there.
When I save the photo I use 'save as' and:
1. Change the name.
2. Change the name and put it in a different directory, All with the same results.
Please make me feel dumb and tell me I forgot a setting or preference.

I believe your right. I started with an original of the same photo and edited as before, using the other monitor, and it printed fine. guess I should invest in a calibration tool. Do you have any recomendations ?

Custom tabular form for multi-row not saving data

Ok, before anyone asks, yes, I did read the how-to:-)
I have a custom tabular form, which I did cause I need to use popups and the popups that you can use in the wizard tabular form does not display the text but rather the value underneath it.
It returns data rather nicely and when I go and update values I can tell it is changing the fields underneath. I put a process in that will display the values in text fields on the form (for one row only) and I see them changing from what is already there and with the proper values.
However, when I do that the data that is displayed then gets reverted back to what it was previous to the update but reports that the process was successful.
I have also tried to insert but that is basically doing the same thing. Can anyone guide me.

Checkboxes are different from other HTML form items. When you have a text box for example, there's always a value send to the server when submitting. Even if that value is NULL. When you have a checkbox however, you only get the value if the checkbox is checked. It's not posted to the server when it is not checked. That's the general behavior of HTML forms and not specific to Oracle HTML DB.
When working with tabular forms in HTML DB, you can access your form values using the htmldb_application.g_f0x arrays. Now if you have for example 10 rows in your form, then you'll get ten elements in your array for text boxes, select lists, etc. For checkboxes however you'll only get as many elements as you have rows checked. If I read your update and insert code correctly, you're trying to use the checkbox arrays the same way you use the arrays based on other item types. My recommendation would be to use Yes/No select lists instead of checkboxes or at least use select lists initially to get it working and then work on properly processing the checkboxes.

FSG Column Sets for Trial Balance

I am trying to duplicate the FSG Column Set that will give me the same data as the Detail Trial Balance.
I can get the Opening Balance - Bal-Actual (FY START)as the amount type in the Column Set
I can get the Ending Balance YTD-Actual
But how do I get the Period Activity figure?

Have you tried setting the Period Activity column with the PTD-Actual amount type?

SAP Query when saving title for Query is not saved if we reopen queries o

Hi,
i am not able to save title for a query that is already created,
when i change and give the title name and comes back it is seen in scree SQ03 but
reopen the Transaction Sq03 by selecting user group and query the title is not not displaying.
can anyone help me on this, it is Urgent.....

Channel parameter setting: send parameter is not saved

Is this really impossible or I am missing something?
G5 Dual 2gHz & MacBookPro 2/1.83 Mac OS X (10.4.7) 4.5 GB RAM

This is why I think "Channel Strip Setting" is a misleading labelling.
It only saves the plug-in chain, no sends, no volume, no pan, no routing (all of those are part of the real channel strip).
It´s only partially useful this way to me.

FLV files set for streaming video not working

Hi,
I have been using Captivate 4 for some time using imported FLV and progressive download options. Playback is too slow, so I am trying to use a streaming service (Limelight Networks Flash Video Streaming Service). I took an existing Captivate project, uploaded the FLV file to the streaming service and select the following in Captivate under the Flash Video tab:
Video type: Streaming video
Server URI: points to server, app, instance from provider (eg: rtmp://xxx.net/yyy/zzz...)
Stream name: filename.flv
I publish (htm and swf files are local, flv is on the streaming provider's machine) and try to playback. Captivate loads and after a time I get an error saying that a script is causing the flashplayer to run slowly (version 10). It then locks up (tested in IE, Firefox and Chrome). I've changed options in Captivate such as Flashplayer version (from 8-10) and buffer delay, to no avail. No video played. Previously the video played in the project as a progressive download.

This still hasn't worked for us. We have been given a server name in this format: rtmp://server.name.net/ and an application name in the format app/name, which together form a url: rtmp://server.name.net/app/name
Then I have the move file in a subdirectory (/test) from this base url and finally the filename: myvideo.flv
So putting it together I have tried in Captivate:
Streaming
field 1: rtmp://server.name.net/app/name
field 2: /test/myvideo.flv
or
rtmp://server.name.net/app/name/test
myvideo.flv
or
rtmp://server.name.net/app/name
/test/myvideo
and other combations of these three. I've eliminated the flv extension, tried with and without preceding (/) and trailing (/) (eg: /test/... vs test/... or).
None of these seem to work. I can play the flv directly using a client called WIMPY so I know the streaming service works. With that client I enter a fully qualified path such as: rtmp:/server.name.net/app/name/test/myvideo.flv and it works flawlessly.

Some settings not saved in Presets file

I'd like to setup my fme environment with preset Xml files
(and with some dirty scripting hacks, we make the app load them
automatically).
Unfortunately, not all the Device settings are saved. There
is a tuner specific Settings tab whose settings are not saved. So
if I want to change the actual TV channel I have to use the GUI.
Other settings (like crossbar_input) are found in the XML file.
Is there a way to set entries that are not saved by the GUI
directly in the XML presets file and make fme use them?

What you're looking for is startup.xml, which will be in the
application data directory for the current user. On my Vista
machine, the path looks like this:
Drive:\Users\Admin\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Flash Media
Encoder\startup.xml
that's where all of the current UI settings are stored. So
you know, startup.xml is UTF-16 encoded and it needs to stay that
way, and (for some reason) there needs to be a blank line at the
end of the file.

What is best network setting for jetpack mifi 5510l

I live in a rural area with poor signal. No 4G and limited 3G. We got an antenna that boosts phones from nothing or 1X one bar to 3G and 2-3 bars inside the house. What is the best network setting for jetpack? It doesn't seem to work as well.
Automatic and 4g don't work. I don't know what CDMA Auto or EDVO stand for.
Any suggestions for improving strength would be appreciated. I know I won't get a great connection but a steady connection sure would be great.

Not sure what you mean. The jetpack will automatically configure itself to whatever signal it currently has access to. Shouldn't have to configure any network settings.

After you generate some numbers then look up what they mean in the Interpret the Results tab. You mentioned that you already purchased an antenna so there may not be anything else you can do as the local towers in your area are not good enough to reach inside your home.

Cisco SA 520W set up for load balancing but traffic not routing properly?

Forgive me cause my networking skills are a bit rusty. So we have an SA520W that sits in-between both of our ISP connections. One connection is 4 bonded T-1s and the other is a shared 50/20. I have configured the SA520W with the optional port set to load balancing. I set the protocol bindings to be HTTP and HTTPS to go over the optional WAN which is the 50/20 yet when I do speedtests I am getting very mixed results. Sometimes it reflects that I am on the 50/20 and other times I just get 5 down and 5 up. and then other times it is a mix between the two, like 5 down 15 up.
It is just weird. I don't understand am I missing some other protocols I need to bind other than HTTP and HTTPS? It isn't just speed tests either I have noticed some weird web page loading issues as well. You can go to a page and it loads really fast and then later on...
