Setting Horizontal Menu widget to 100% width doesn't work

Hello, I'm trying to set a Horizontal Menu widget to 100% width within Muse so it spans across the browser, and it looks just fine while I'm editing it into Muse, but when I attempt to view it on any browser, I get a shorter menu, floating to the left of the screen. Does anyone know what could be wrong?
As you can notice in the attached screenshots, #1 is the Adobe Muse view, the menu's width is being scaled to the limit of the browser's view, and the Width setting clearly shows as "100%". In screenshot #2, is the exported site viewed on Google Chrome, with a smaller menu floating to the left.
I've been searching an answer for days, but can't find anyone with a similar issue. Any insights would be greatly appreciated!
(I have an ongoing project with this problem holding it back, I just remade it on a new, clean file to replicate the issue and get the screenshots you see here)

This is quite annoying since i put my navigation bar in a tooltip. And i would like it to be both hideable and browserfilling (in width).

Ok Zak that totally confused me? :/
"Arbitraily wide"? Can you give an example because I've never heard that phrase used before regarding Muse design. I was under the impression that values punched in are not "arbitrary" by the traditional definition.
I know it might take a little time. But with phrases like that an example (or link) of how to do it would go a lot further. Remember, most of us are designers not coders and although we try our best to learn the lingo (or fake it) sometimes concepts like this just don't register too easily. :/

Can you pin a horizontal menu widget to the sides of the browser so it resizes with browser width?

Any ideas how I recreate the auto re-sizing of the horizontal menu bar depending on the size of the browser using muse that I've seen on the following site that I presume wasn't developed on Muse? http://www.thechequersbath.com/
So far I've put a slideshow widget at 100% width, which creates the fixed slideshow in the background. I would love the menu to work in a similar way. Do I have to create a tablet version of it or what? Thanks for any feedback.

Modify horizontal menu widget to bar menu

Can someone please explain how to change horizontal menu widget to bar menu widget, since the bar widget is missing on my Muse?

Well if I understand your question correctly, I think what you would do is just create the "bar" in the background using the rectangle tool, and then overlay the horizontal menu widget over top. Then you would set the rollover states on the menu widget to have transparent backgrounds, so that the bar behind would show through. There isn't a separate "bar" widget available in Muse - just horizontal and vertical.

Horizontal Menu Widget Bug - Font Defaults

I am having a maddening problem with the fonts in the Horizontal Menu Widget. It is getting to the point that I am thinking of just creating buttons in Photoshop and be done with it.
The main issue is font defaults - especially in the active state.
I dragged an instance of the horizontal menu onto the master page.
The top-level page names appeared in the buttons.
I clicked the home button, changed the font to Helvetica 18pt. It updated the font for ALL states in the states viewer.
I changed the background colours for the various states to fit the colour scheme of the site.
All seemed to be good UNTIL I previewed the site in the browser. The active button state had defaulted to Georgia 14pt. The other states were all Helvetica 18pt
I went back in, and selected the Active state of the home button, and specifically changed the font to what I wanted.
Again, when previewing in browser or the Preview pane in Muse, the Active state was Georgia 14pt.
I went back in, deselected "Edit Together", changed each button's active state to Helvetica one by one.
Again, previewing in Browser finds GEORGIA.
What is going on?

I can reproduce the issue. But here's a workaround:
1. Insert Horizontal menu
2. Select the Home menu item
3. Switch to active state
4. Reset to default (click the trash can icon). You will lose the active state fill color (#999999), but you reapply it
5. Select the label inside the Home menu item
6. Switch to active state (if you aren't already in active state)
7. Reset to default (click the trash can icon).
Now you can format as desired (Helvetica 18pt). Let me know if that works.

Does anyone know an easy way how to align the text within a submenu of the Muse CC horizontal menu widget to the left instead of the standard center-alignment?

Select the submenu container and hit the Align left button in the Text panel (you may have to toggle between center and left to make this work).

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.) No data/files will be erased.

How can I get a horizontal menu widget to display at 100% width?

I have created a horizontal menu with uniform spacing and have stretched it out to each side. I can't get the red indicator line to show up on the left side, but it does show on the right. No matter what I do, the menu continues to show up short on the right side of my screen in preview mode.
Does anyone know how to do this properly? Has anyone else had issues with it?

Horizontal Sliding Panels with 100% width

Im trying to use horizontal sliding panels with a width of 100% for an expandable website. So far i got it working with the vertical sliding panles where if i increase the width of the site the sliding panels width increases as well, but how do i get them to float left and slide horizontally, if i change the slidingpanelscontentgroup width it messe up. so far here is the css:

Had a hard time find the solution, but this seem to work in major browsers, except Opera which does not like the 33.33% width apparently and shows a bit of next panel. You may be able to play with margin or padding to correct this behavior.
You have to know the number of panels and make the calculation of the SlidingPanelsContent class width accordingly. Here's my test page and code for you:

In my horizontal menu there are 4 main items. Can I change

Last week I bought a miniDisplay to HDMI port. My macbookpro to SonyPlaystation 3D TV , it's work petty well on default setting. But when I set to Mirror setting, macbookpro screen turn to blue(more like computer is setting) then turn to normal and 1 second later turn to blue......that's a loop...never stop. only when I took out the miniDisplay to HDMI port, that stop...The TV doesn't have signal.

Clean Install of Snow Leopard
     1. Boot the computer using the Snow Leopard Installer Disc. Insert the disc into the

Contextual menu on links in mail doesn't work

I had hoped that this annoying bug was fixed in release 10.10.1 of Yosemite. It is not and I have to ask the question.
There is a contextual menu in mail if you option click on a link:
The problem is: it doesn't work! All the three options do nothing. I submitted it to Apple but unfortunately it wasn't fixed. Somebody else has this problem and was able to fix it? It is quite annoying, like almost everything these days in Yosemite.
I've don't a clean install of Yosemite several times. Didn't fix.

If you can't post your page on the web for others to see,
then perhaps you can paste the relevant markup/code. For example,
what type of inputs are you using? You said "text box" do you mean
a TextArea or a TextField? What does the widget constructor for
that particular validation field look like? What does the markup
look like, including the markup for the <form> tag?
We're going to need more info due to the fact that some of
these validation widgets have multiple configurations (types of
validation).

Hmm... the object doesn't appear to be exporting as 100% width. Could you please send us the .muse file at [email protected] along with a link to this thread so we can take a closer look? If the file is larger than 20Mb you can use a service like Adobe SendNow, Dropbox, WeTransfer, etc. Thanks.

Full-browser window flash, 100% width/height not working

Hello.
I'm pretty sure this issue has been discussed before but I
couldn't find a suitable answer.
I need my flash website to fill the whole browser window. In
the 1st frame of my .fla file I used:
stage.scaleMode = StageScaleMode.NO_SCALE;
stage.align = StageAlign.TOP_LEFT;
In the Publish Settings, I used 100% width and height and
Default scale mode.
I even tried adding CSS styles to the .html file, defining
padding and margin as 0px and applying them both to the body tag
and to a custom class that was later applied to the object tag that
embeds the .swf file on the html.
Still, the latest versions of Firefox, Safari and Opera (all
on Mac OSX Leopard) still display a border around the website.
What can I do? Thanks in advance.
