Setting in quiz maker to retake a test in an LMS

I created a course with Captivate 4 and loaded it to the GeoLearning LMS I took the course an passed it. then i needed to make some changes and i reloaded the course and when I retook the course i could not answer the questions because it was in review mode. What settings do I need to change so a person can go into the course and retake it at anytime no matter if they passed or failed the course

Sorry, I don't know much about LMS. I have make up my mind to learn this thing because it's really important for E-learning which is the direction I'm going to make a difference.
Right now, I can only suggest you try some other tools, like this wondershare quiz maker. Maybe it will make a difference.

I understand that I can set up a different Apple ID for the kids devices, or take physical control of the device and make the changes myself. However, my teenage son is technically savvy enough to have a job in Silicon Valley, as are most young people these days. However, in order to access his devices the current way, I first have to bypass the four digit pass code. This starts a fight of why I need in the device and continues to escalate. The argument that I am the parent will gain access but the fight is simply exhausting, and quite frankly shouldn't have to happen at all. He is not yet an adult, he did not pay for his iPad or iPhone and I, as a parent, should have not only have the right to change options at will, and from anywhere, but look at history or current activity when I feel like it.
I currently have the settings where app and in-app purchases require my password to be put in, and he must come to me to type it in, but I need more control and would like, and should be able to access any of our six devices and make individual changes simply by logging in to my account, with my password.
If I can see all my devices on the "Lost My iPhone" app, this technology should be easy to make happen.
C'mon parents! I have a pretty good kid, given all things that they can get into, but I am not stupid. For everything I see has been done, there is much more I haven't seen. I want my children to be kept safe and be able to know what they are looking at or listening to. We parents are the only ones who know our beliefs and what our kids can handle and when.

There are mobile device management solutions that can do this, including in Apple's OS X Server system, but most parents generally find that setting this up is more work than it's worth. If you're interested, though, there are a couple that at least purport to be free (I don't know if there are any hidden "gotchas"):

I don't think any, however, allow you to see current activity or browser history. iOS doesn't expose those to access from MDM solutions, to the best of my knowledge.

Thanks. Where could I possibly look for a firewall rule. I knowingly did not creat any. My system has internet coming to a Modem which then is connected to a wireless router. I have computers connecting to the router through cable as well as wireless. One of these computers has been our mailserver using Mercury and Pegasus and that computer has a static IP address. The Mac Mini also has been assigned a different srtatic IP address. I have only set up user account, none of them an email account as I initially expect them to receive only internal mails. Is it necessary that I must set up an email id for each user while setting up the user account. My server id is server.local. So would the email id for local users be [email protected]?

How do you set a quiz so that it does not prematurely submit after navigating back through slides?

I have Adobe 5.5 and was wondering if there was a setting for quizes that enables a person to navigate back and forth through the slides without prematurely submitting their results.

Not in Cp 5.5. In Captivate 6x versions there is a new feature called Submit All that allows you to do what you want. I suggest you think about upgrading to the Subscription Edition.

Help in setting up Quiz Results Analyzer

Newbie here, Captivate 7. I followed directions on http://tv.adobe.com/watch/publish-and-track-results/reporting-using-lms-or-internal-server / except that I placed the internalServerReporting.php and internaserverread.php files in a folder named "cplms" on my web hosting service (linux). Looks like this:
My experimental courses' quiz results appear to get posted there O.K. and accurately, in the "CaptivateResults folder that was created as you can see. However, when I set the Quiz Results Analyzer preference to http://www.mydfb.com/cplms/internalserverread.php and "get results", I can see it going through the process of "checking companies", etc. but I get this result:
Note that the source is my "cplms" directory, but I get only 2 dots (parent directory?) in both the Organization and Department pull down lists. And under Course I get a list of all the files and folders in the parent (www) directory.
Obviously I'm doing something wrong in my setup. I've played around for hours with variations but can't get anything to work. Do I have to 'publish' my Captivate course on the same server as in the Adobe video tutorial?
I can FTP the "CaptivateResults" data back to my desktop machine and then point the Quiz Results Analyzer to that data and it works fine, but that's a bunch of extra steps.

Sorry mkjohnson74, but no one seems to want to help us. I don't think the Quiz Result Analyzer is ready for "prime time". It would be very nice if someone had put together a detailed (for newbies) guide on how to use it. In the meantime, I have found Widget that I think does an even better job of reporting than the Quiz Result Analyzer claims to do - and it was easy to set up and REALLY WORKS.
Download a free copy of Jim Leichliter's Google LMS With Email Reporting at http://captivatedev.com/2012/11/12/adobe-captivate-6-x-widget-google-lms-with-email-report ing-2/ . Install it by following his two excellent videos that are also on that web page. It works so well for me that I'm thinking I can eliminate my current LMS. I did run into one problem (because I didn't follow instructions) but Jim responded immediately and got everything fixed.

A simple approach would be to create a single 1-slide menu
project that has buttons/click boxes that link to your other
projects using the "open in new window" option.
You can also create multi-unit "modules" by linking together
multiple projects using the "Open other project" option in the
Project preferences. This allows you to string together any
combination of files, such as:
lesson -> quiz -> another lesson -> another quiz
-> test
If you open the materials in a new window from the "menu",
you don't have to worry about linking back. The menu is always open
underneath whatever content the user is looking at. If you go into
the Project properties of the last lesson in a "module", you can
set the "Project end" option to "Close project" and the user will
effectively be shown the menu when the project closes.

How can we make the Retake Quiz button only appear when user reenters the course?

In a Captivate 8 Quiz, we need to force the user to close the course (so attempts are captured by the LMS) from the Quiz Results page. The Retake Quiz button cannot show at this time. However, when the learner reenters the course from the LMS, the bookmarking brings the user to the Results page again. We need a Retake Quiz button to only show when the user reenters the course, not on Quiz completion. Disabling the bookmarking disables the reporting of attempts. Does anyone know a way to make that happen or a workaround?

I can't figure out how to set a breakpoint in a SenTestingKit unit test

I'm learning Cocoa after decades of doing other languages. I'm trying to use SenTestingKit for unit tests. One of my unit tests doesn't work, and I want to set a breakpoint to figure out why. So far, I haven't figured out how to do this.
I found Chris Hanson's instructions for how to do this, but he apparently wrote them for an earlier version of Xcode, and I don't know enough to adapt them.
I am writing a tutorial document for writing a simple Cocoa App using Xcode 3.1, git, SenTestingKit, and OCMock. It's at http://xorandor.com/FirstCocoaApp. I've got it up to the point of trying to debug a unit test, and I'm stuck there.
I also couldn't figure out how to have Xcode run the unit tests while building the application. Again, Chris' instructions didn't quite do it, and I don't know enough to figure out the rest.
So, if you know how to do this, please give me some hints. I'll put those into my tutorial, so that the next people who need this can find it.

I figured out more of my problem, but I haven't solved it yet.
What happens is that, after I create a test case, I try to run it with a breakpoint. After I start the program, Xcode turns the breakpoint from blue (meaning active) to orange (meaning that it can't set the breakpoint).
Several people have said to turn off the Lazy symbol loading preference. I did that, and that didn't fix the problem.

What's, in your opinion, the best way to make the test, using, maybe JMeter.
In case i use JMeter how can i understand the lines on the graphs; in which way the bandwidth of the client influences the test ?
Does anybody use another kind of web stress tool ?

I used JMEter, but I don't use the graph listener...I use the table as well as the tree listener. The table will tell inform me the average and median time it take for the application to finish. It also report to me if the request made was sucessful or not. It also report how long it take for each individual thread to finish the request.
I also use log4j to log any necessary information while running the test

In icloud for email, how do I set preferences to make copy 18 pt and to automatically cc emails to my own addy?

This is far more confusing than I want it to be. I want to set the preferences on my icloud email so the body type is 18 pt. And I want to automatically cc all emails I send to my email addy so I have a copy. I was set up to do this before I was forced to swithchover to icloud. How do I make these preference changes? Also, is their an auto spell check? If so, how do I turn that on? It's apparentlllly nottt working on this postttt. And I might as well ask this question, too, as I kinda stumbled into this. Now that I am on iclound, will I have to do anything with the photos on my computer that I have saved in iphoto? And does someone actually answer these questions?

I am trying to set a valueAxis limit on value 0,5.
My XML looks like this. I couldnt add valueAxis in ma:Chart successfully.

The error was: Uncaught Error: valueAxis property must be of type sap.makit.ValueAxis
Basically I cant create a new instance of ValueAxis in XML.
I tried in the controller js something like this:

This also didnt work.
So I have two questions:
1.) How can I set valueAxis in XML view staticly?
2.) How can I set valueAxis in controller dynamicly according to the values I get from my json service.

Terminal Command, how to set defaults write, make application(s) use directory path where file last saved?

Does anyone know whether there's a terminal command to make all applications remember/use the last directory/path where I last saved a file?
For example, let's say there are (10) ten PDF's on a website, and I want to use Preview.app to open and save each file to the same directory.
Problem is, after each time I save a file, Preview.app doesn't automatically remember/use the last directory where I saved my file(s).
Forcing me to navigate back to the same directory after each time I save a file; super-annoying.
But, for some reason, when saving images from the web, Firefox remembers the last directory where I saved the file (jpeg).
So I'm hoping there's some way, possibly a terminal command to set/force all applications (including Preview.app) to remember/use the directory/path where file(s) were last-saved.
Anyone?
