Setting Microsoft word in web base

Hi , guys ,
does any one knows how to make the whole Microsoft Word application appear into the web browser screen. so that i can edit, update / save the files into the web server itself.
If there are any solutions relating this issue, i will be very glad to know too.

Not having my Mac with me to try this out I am not 100% but as a suggestion could you not save the Word Doc as HTML and so you have the HTML file and the folder of graphics.
Open iWeb and add a blank page to your site and give it the name you want to give to your wifes page (I would give it the same name as the Doc HTML file).
Publish the site to a folder then find that blank page you just created. Open it in a text editor and delete everything but don't close it.
Open the Word HTML in a text editor and Cmd+A followed by Cmd+C then go to the blank page and paste it all in there. Now you can save it and look at it. I imagine it hasn't worked quite right just yet as the links to the icons and other files need to be changed before uploading.
Copy the Word HTML FOLDER across to your site folder, then open the iWeb page in a text editor again. You will now need to replace the links to all of the graphics/files so that your web page can find them.
Before you try any of this, back up your site. As I said earlier I don't have my Mac to hand otherwise I would have tried it out first. Let us know how you get on.

1. Could not find default ServiceProxy or it does not implement
IWacServiceApplicationProxy.

Error: Microsoft word web app -Sorry we ran into a problem - IE 11

Hi,
I am using Windows 8\Office 2013 32bit\IE 11.
When opening word docs in SharePoint 2013, the Word Web App shows the error "Microsoft word web app -Sorry we ran into a problem" and does not open the file.
SharePoint site is a http one. The document is getting opened in IE 9 (checked in different machine).
Excel also displays an error, but opens the file.
How to fix this?

and it worked for me:
1. Quit Word
2. In the Finder's menu bar, select Go > Go to folder and type or paste: ~/Library/Preferences/
3. Click on Go
4. Locate the preference file com.microsoft.Word.plist, then Option-drag it to the desktop to create a backup copy
5. Go to Applications/Utilities and open Terminal
6. Paste the following bold command at the $ prompt (it's a single line):
defaults write com.microsoft.Word 14\\Toolbars\\Show_HIToolbar -boolean TRUE
7. Press Return and then quit with Command Q
8. Start Word and test. If the fix works, trash the backup file in the Desktop file. Otherwise, restore it.
In the original source the author also mentions the change in Word 2008

Another method is tosave your Word document as an a web page. Then open the htm file, copy the text and paste into an HTML snippet on your web page. Resize to show all the document and publish. It will retain the style, font and alignment of the original Word document.

Has anyone had issues with Microsoft Word or Excel requiring a set-up after software udates? I do not have product key, so unable to set up again.

This laptop has original Microsoft word & excel provided by Mac when purchased and is legal copy.
Do I understand you bought a Mac and it came with Microsoft Office? I could be wrong, but I wasn't aware that was an option. Or am I not parsing that sentence correctly and you bought a Mac and bought a legal copy of Office to install on it? In which case, never mind.

Microsoft Word Documents Left Justified on Web Pages

I have a church web site created with iWeb 08. I've been taking sermon outlines from Microsoft Word, copying the text, and pasting it in iWeb. This has been working fine in the past. The Word formatting copies over fine and the indents show up correctly in iWeb and on the web pages being viewed with Safari, Firefox, or IE in Windows.
Within the last month, something has happened. All the sermons are now left justified on the church website, when viewed with any of the browsers. It still looks okay in iWeb 08 though. Has anyone else had this problem? If so, were you able to correct it?

A lot has changed with Apple's hosting servers and software in the last couple of weeks due to the MobileMe changeover and it's not surprising that some things don't work as they once did. It takes little effort to click on the text box in the iWeb page and select the justification you need.
Another way to add the Word page is to take a screenshot of it and add it as an image file. That way all browsers and platforms will see it exactly the same, particularly if you're using a non web safe font.

That formatting feature for text areas is known as Rich Text editing. Easy to enable on the web page with one line of code to tap into the Midas package that Mozilla uses, but the users can't enable it themselves from within Firefox.

Printing a document from firefox web page or Microsoft Word doc ument used to work just fine. All of a sudden I was unable to print a Word document. I can still print a web page. Any suggestions?

I have a document from Microsoft Word that will not print. It's as if the printer is not connected when I attempt with the Word document. I have gone in and deleted any pending documents in Microsoft Word. I have restarted computer, as well as the printer. The printer does not seem to be connecting or responding to the Word program (cannot find spooler) Any suggestions?

I have a problem similar to those posted here, with one difference. With my printers newly installed, regardless of which one is selected as the default, when I try to print from Adobe Reader I receive the error message we're talking about : "Before you can perform a print related task...."
Here's the fun part.
If I click OK on the message, ALL MY PRINTERS GET DELETED and, I get the windows message that "Spooler subsystem app has encountered a problem and needs to close"! If instead of clicking OK I switch to Task Manager and end Adobe, I'm fine and can print from other programs.
I can "reset" the problem by deleting the files in C:\Windows\System32\Spool\Printers and C:\Windows\System32\Spool\Drivers\w32x86, restarting the machine, and deleting then reinstalling the printers (which show up again after the restart).
BUT, if I try to print from Adobe Reader again, I get the same cycle of problems.
I am running Windows Vista and Adobe Reader 8.1

Word opens fine in other browsers.
The web link, ending in doc, appears at the bottom of the page - but Firefox just stays on the original page.

Ok, when you go to the Content menu, you see a list of files which are set to open with a particular program by default.
To change the application, click the one which is assigned to it already and then from the dropdown menu which appears, click the bottom option called "Use Other".
This will open a menu where you'll see another set of apps you can use to open the file with. If Microsoft Word is not in the list, click the "Browse" button and then navigate to the folder containing Word.exe. I don't have it on my system, but I believe you'll find it in C:\Program Files\Microsoft\Word

How to show content from microsoft word and pdf on a page

Hi,
I have a microsoft word file stored in content repository and I want to show it in web page. When I drag and drop it using content presenter it shows file as a link with some extra details like created by, last modified by etc. I want content to appear in UI page itself. Content of document should get converted to html at runtime and then appear in UI. Is it possible?

I see you have as similar requirement you posted in the thread here :
Skipping ucm login form when showing content on webcenter application.
InBound Refinery (IBR) would be the easiest way to accomplish this though.
Once you have IBR installed and configured (you need to pick what formats need to be converted in the refinery, and in your case, choose MS Office formats),
You can use the document viewer taskflow to render PDF versions of your Word/Excel or PDF documents on a webcenter page. There is little to no setup required for this, beyond configuring IBR (but configuring IBR is fairly involved) and selecting what MIME types you want IBR to process.
Another thing to watch out for if you are using Spaces is, make sure you set the context root for UCM properly though EnterpriseManger.
Dynamic Converter can also be used to get similar results. You mention that you are using an Iframe, that means the client is making a request to UCM directly, and to avoid re-authenticating there, you should have SSO enabled. With Dynamic converter, you can use a URL of the form :
http:// +<host>:<port>+ / +<context_root>+ /idcplg?IdcService=GET_DYNAMIC_CONVERSION&dDocName= +<docID>+ &RevisionSelectionMethod=LatestReleased
To get an HTML rendition of that document.
