Setting Org Assignment defaults

Is is possible to change the default setting for Org assignments after the fact? Currently the org assignments are done manually, but due to an uninformed choice made during the initial implementation of the software, all items should be assigned AT LEAST to this one particular org. I would like to change the system to default by checking this Org level box upon creating a new item. Then, if other org assignments are necessary they would be selected manually.

You can install both win32 and win64 Firefox Nightly builds on a 64-bit Windows computer. As you should know, all Firefox nightly builds are intended for testing only. If you downloaded your Firefox nightly build from http://nightly.mozilla.org/ then you got the win32 installer. Anyway, the bug report I referred to earlier ([https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=870312 Bug 870312] - Installing Nightly causes "Class not registered" error on click on link in other apps after uninstall) fits your issue ("broken" uninstaller). It was triaged as a "Shell Integration" Firefox bug for x86_64 Windows 8.
Whether you had the 32-bit or 64-bit Firefox nightly installed, you can try reinstalling a more recent build of that, and then uninstall it again. That worked for a Windows user who had problems uninstalling Firefox Nightly x64 as reported in this thread:

If that doesn't work, also try reinstalling Firefox 25, to see if that helps matters.

How to set a 3 default values for a dependent key flexfield

I have an inquiry in oracle applications 11i - Oracle General Ledger module, Accounting Key flexfield structure.
we have an independent key segment PROJECT and a dependent key segment SUB-PROJECT.
Can we define 3 dependent value for the SUB-PROJECT to be the default for any new entered value in the PROJECT segment??
e.g creating 3 default SUB-PROJECT values: X, Y, and Z. Any new value entered to the PROJECT key segment will have X, Y and Z by default as it's SUB-PROJECTS.
If the above scenario is possible, please guide me to the best solution...

I can find that the value set of any dependent value set has only one room for a default value.
What are the implications of creating a new Independent value set and assign it to the SubProject segment, on historical data and reports?

Org.Assignment Infotype start date and End date is getting wrong.

Hi, When i create a new employee in PA40, in Org. Assignment infotype start date and end date is getting wrong. for eg. When i create an employee on 01.04.2014. In org. assignment infotype its getting like this. 01.01.2014 to 31.03.9999 and 01.04.9999 to 31.12.9999 Two date entries are creating by default.

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

Not allows to assign default value to input field using values in datastore

Hi Masters,
Consider that I have one input field in a form. I should assign default value to it. I should assign to it, the value which i have stored in a datastore. When i run the application, if i give default value as 123 ,then it is working fine i.e., it is showing 123 in the textfield in form , but if i give the default value as STORE@ProductId, then it is not displaying that value in the form.
Please help me out.

i faced this problem and here's what i concluded:
There's no way you can set default value for input field dynamicly, since the default value of input control is caculated only once (i think on initializing of the iView). The input control and the data store are initialized at the same time, STORE@productID is empty that time...
If you don't need to recieve value through the input field you're trying to initialize, but just to display the value from the store - I suggest you try using another control - Expression Box. It's value is calculated continiously, just like the Label's, and you can refere to it later.

The issue is when i am going for hiring action through PA_40 till Org.Assignment system doesn't have any problem.
The moment i filling the data in the 0001screen and try to go to the next info type 0002 by saving the info type-0001 ,the system in place of going to 0002 screen it automatically takes me to the sap system login screen and i have to go to pa30 to maintain the info types.
Please help me out with this .

Looks like you have ALE distribution model set up to do cost center validation remotely (business object 'BUS6001', method 'CHECKACCOUNTASSIGNMENT'.
Ask your BASIS guys to check ALE distribution model to see if this is the case, or you can check table 'TBD06' to see if there exists an entry where BOBJTYPE = 'BUS6001' and METHOD = 'CHECKACCOUNTASSIGNMENT'. If there is one, i t means that cost center in IT0001 is checked remotely, and the RFC connection to the remote system either has an invalid id/pwd or doesn't have one set up yet (i.e. logon screen appears, and continue after you key in correct id/pwd) .

Inforecord - plant and purch org. assignment

I would like to have some support / good ideas on following issue:
we have a plant assigned to purchasing organisation 1:1, and only one (standard) inforecord should exist plant / purch organisation related, because I based my calculation on the inforecord price (through calculation variant / valuation variant). But buyes, who are responsible to create the inforecords frequently make mistakes and create inforecord with no plant, only purch org assignment than make a new one with plant and purch org assignment, which sometimes gives us difficulties - especially on price handling during Po creation and calculation.
Could You, pls advise me, which is the easiest way to stop this kind of duplication, and also delete the only purch org. related inforecords - I want to have only the purch org. and plant related inforecords in future.

SAP made the customizing for this control a kind of hidden.
instead of putting it into the info record section in IMG, they have this in Conditions section.
OLME > Conditions > Define Condition Control at Plant Level.
here enter a minus for No plant-related conditions allowed
If conditions are not allowed at plant level, you may not create any purchasing info records or contract items relating specifically to the plant.
you can set a deleition indicator in ME15, and then archive the info record with SARA object MM_EINA

I set them up in:
- Guided procedures--> Administration --> Assign Default Roles
- Guided procedures --> Design time -->Process --> Default Roles
But in active/edit operation all the default roles are deleted....

Voicemail is a cell phone carrier function. Contact your carrier to see if they have this option. If not, i'm sure you can download a sound file from the internet with a greeting and add your name. Then play it back on you PC while holding your iPhone near the speaker when recording the greeting to voicemail.

Assigning Default value to a Infotype Field

My requirement is to assign default value to the loan amount field of the loans infotype(0045).
I am using the PBAS0001 user exit program ZXPADU01 and taking the basic pay amount for the employee from infotype 8 and assigning it to pa0045-dabrt(loan amount)field in infotype 45. But the problem is the loan amount field in 45 infotype is of the type currency(13 characters) and if i assign a value 2000 to the field its displaying as 20,000,000.00. That is the value is being multiplied by 10000 and is displayed. When i tried to divided the value by 10000 and pass it, for odd numbers its not working.Can Some one provide the solution for this problem.

Try using simple Formula at field level insted of field routine.
there is IF( <condition>, <result when true>, <result when false> ) option avaialble in formula

Unfortunately, you can't set iCloud as your default. You can, however, change the default address book in Outlook to access your iCloud contact list when addressing email, as explained here: http://www.msoutlook.info/question/262.

There have been no changes to the item default types available in HTML DB. The thread you referenced is for Oracle Portal, a separate and unrelated product.
