Setting the lesson status

Hi everyone
After uploading my Captivate course to my LMS, I need the LMS
to display the lesson status from the previous visit. I've been
told by someone that I have to establish this command in Captivate
and then the LMS will read this rule but the person doesn't know
how to do it.
Can anyone help me? Please!
Thanks so much!
NL

If you've enabled SCORM tracking (or perhaps AICC) in your
Captivate
file, then this should be happening automatically. Are you
seeing any
results pass from your CP lesson to the LMS? Is it
bookmarking? What
'status' do you want to see?
Are you tracking at least one interaction and what Quiz
Manager settings
do you have set?

  • How do I set the response status code for a request in ADF?

    For example:
    I have a page accessible like page.jspx?id=$ID, in which $ID identifies an object stored in a database. The user navigates to page.jspx?id=abc. abc does not exist or has been deleted. I wish to set the response status code to 404 for the page request, like, for instance, https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=abc does. How do I do this?
    PS: Changing the status code for subsequent partial submits on the page if the object is deleted while the user is on the page (e.g. if the user attempts to delete an already deleted object through a "Delete" button on the page) may also be desirable, but would probably not fit in as well with the ADF lifecycle or be as useful.

    Maybe I should be more specific about the current state of the code. It's something functionally similar in relevant portions to the following. For the purposes of this code, assume the ID maps only to a name, rather than a more complicated object:
    page.jspx looks like:
    <?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>
    <jsp:root xmlns:jsp="http://java.sun.com/JSP/Page"
         xmlns:f="http://java.sun.com/jsf/core"
         xmlns:af="http://xmlns.oracle.com/adf/faces/rich"
         xmlns:trh="http://myfaces.apache.org/trinidad/html" version="1.2">
         <jsp:directive.page contentType="text/html;charset=utf-8" />
         <f:view>
              <af:document binding="#{pageInitializer.dummyComponent}" title="#{pageData.name != null ? pageData.name : 'Object Not Found'}">
                   <af:outputText rendered="#{pageData.name != null}" value="#{pageData.name}" />
                   <af:outputText rendered="#{pageData.name == null}" value="No object was found at this URL." />
              </af:document>
         </f:view>
    </jsp:root>pageInitializer and pageData are pageFlow-scoped beans with the following code:
    class PageInitializer {
         @Inject private PageData pageData;
         @Inject private NameDao nameDao;
         @PostConstruct
         void initialize() {
              String name = nameDao.getNameById(FacesContext.getCurrentInstance().getExternalContext().getRequestParameterMap().get("id"));
              if (name != null)
                   pageData.setName(name);
              else
                   // TODO: Set status code 404
         public void setDummyComponent(UIComponent dummyComponent) {
         public UIComponent getDummyComponent() {
              return null;
    public class PageData {
         private String name;
         public String getName() {
              return name;
         public void setName(String name) {
              this.name = name;
    }The code initializes the data from the database through the initilaizer of a pageFlow-scoped bean with a dummy setter for the document because I read somewhere that that would work, and it seems to work, even though it seems hacky.
    Ideally, the code would render the 404 where it currently says (// TODO: Set status code 404). I realize this may not even be possible given the current architecture, because part of the response body has already been rendered, and I believe, but cannot find a source to cite, that the status code and headers cannot be set after the body has started being rendered. Is there any architecture that would get me this page's functionality (even if it's two JSPXs on the backend (which might be ideal)) and be able to render a 404 for an inexistent object?

  • Error: Setting the record status to 'NEW' after assigning a  value

    Hi everyone,
    The user name is assigned programatically( like an Initial value) to a field in When New Form Instance and the record status is set back to NEW STATUS using set_record_property.
    The value is seen in the field and the moment you enter into any of the fields in the form the value disapears. when you key in something and do a 'clear_form' you get a message 'You cannot create records here'.
    Almost a similar problem with QUERY_STATUS for the records queried.
    Can anyone help me out to overcome this problem?
    Thanks.
    Brijesh

    Hi,
    I think I went through similar problems some time ago.
    Be careful with FORM STATUS (Query or Normal Mode) and RECORD STATUS (there are 4, as you know).
    You cannot create new records in the Query mode. Find some descriptions about Form Status
    in your online help.
    I too had to think about it some time to understand it =)
    Hope this helps.

  • How to set the Availability Status globaly

    Our database will placed in Restricted mode for a major upgrade. How can I set the Availability to a status of Unavailable(Redirect to URL) and add the URL to redirect to for all of our APEX applications without going in one by one?
    Edited by: Ed Siegle on Sep 29, 2009 5:46 PM

    Sorry, did NOT see the database going down message, since APEX runs in the database, it would be rather hard for it to redirect anywhere, however as the other poster said, if you are using mod_plsql you could have a redirect rule built..

  • How to use of Business Trnasaction That set the system status in BS23

    Run Tcode BS23, If i give I0117 in left  bottom corner > Enter> Click on system Status I0117 Top Left corner > Press F6> system will go to system Status Cross reference screen
    Here we can find the Business Transaction  related information like Process That set the status, Process that deletes the status etc. ( business transaction like RMEP ,RMEZ ,RMUP )
    Above scenario i have depicted for  System Status DSPT. But
    Now my Question is very generic not for only I0117 System Status ( DSPT)
    But  from name of  business transaction how can we get idea that, this Business Transaction can be performed by which T Code,
    this Bu transaction is belogs to which module etc....
    How can I find help related to this business Trnasction from System / any report/ Programme from SE38 etc.....
    I am functional, Please explain me accordingly..
    Being Functional Consultant how can we get maximum help from this Business Transaction.
    Any help pointing to above querries would be appreciated.
    Regards
    Nitin

    Hi,
    Try transaction BERP.
    It will give  you the following info.
    1. See the business events available and the pupose they are meant fot
    2. Documentation for that particular event (here you can know where exactly it is called)
    3. Interface parmeters required in the custom FM
    4. A sample function module with the export import parameters.
    There are few more transaction which are usefull in Bte
    FIBF --> Maintenance transaction BTE
    BERE --> Business Event Repository
    BERP --> Business Processes
    BF31 --> Application modules per Event
    BF32 --> Partner Modules per Event
    BF34 --> Customer Modules per Event
    BF41 --> Application Modules per Process
    BF42 --> Partner Modules per Process
    BF44 --> Customer Modules per Process
    and Bte is attach to a process it works in similar way like workflow do, you can't exactly know the tcode by looking into the event but you can know it with the process for eg.
    This event is called while invoice printing.
    00705000     Invoice print: Exclude contracts
    and we can get more info by checking its description.
    Hope this will help,
    With best regards,

  • How can i set the IDOC Status to 03 without doing a "COMMIT WORK"

    Hello Geeks,
       I want to set the status of the Outgoing IDOC to 03 , without doing a "COMMIT WORK" . Actually only after i do a commit work are my IDOCs dispatched. But with a commit work the IDOCs are dispatched immidiately. I do not want to dispatch it immidiately. Instead i want to hol the IDOCs till my LUW finishes , but the IDOC status should be set to "03" instead of "30".
    Thanks,
    Bashir

    Hi,
    After collecting all the idocs which are under status 30, run the program RSEOUT00 to change the status from 30 to 03.
    If you want to do this process automatically then set the program RSEOUT00 in background.

  • Setting the PF Status for ALV

    Hi all,
    How it would be possible to create a PF Status for ALV display. I want to add one button my ALV report.
    Thanks.
    Harshad.

    Hi ,
    You can create PF-status using the Statement :   set pf-status 'STATUS_NAME'  in a FORM as shown below:
    form frm_status using rt_extab type slis_t_extab.
      set pf-status 'STANDARD'.
    endform.
    Double click on the STATUS_NAME and it Navigates to the Screen Painter. There you can specify the Menu , Buttons as required.
    Instead of cretaing a new status you can also copy the existing Standard status as told above and use the required buttons / menu items.
    Now to handle the operations of these buttons :Include in a form as below
    form frm_usercommand using r_ucomm like sy-ucomm
                      rs_selfield type slis_selfield.
      case r_ucomm.
        when 'SUB'.
          <opertion as required>
        when 'SUB1'.
           <opertion as required>
      endcase.
    Endform.
    Pass these two form names to the FM REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY ( Parameters of FM : i_callback_pf_status_set   &  i_callback_user_command  ) and the result will be dispalyed with the new Status to the parameters  .
    call function 'REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY'

  • How to Set the APPR status in Background for service orders

    Hi Friends,

    Hi,
    Thanks for the reply and you are correct, I am using BADI and I am calling this BAPI inside the method.
    Now I am trying to execute this BAPI from SE38 and I am getting the error message, "Error in processing ,Function was not executed". I am able to see this message in the return parameter of the BAPI (Error type - 'E'). And it is giving dump after the call to BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT.
    I am using conversion routine 'CONVERSION_EXIT_ABPSN_INPUT' before passing the WBS element to the BAPI.

  • How to set the tasks as cancelled

    Guys ,
    I had a scenario , where i have written a setObjectStatus adapter which sets the status of RO as Revoked.
    So i have provisioned a resource to a user and did some updates on resource profile as well , the status of the RO is provisioned and the tasks
    like create user , abc updated etc ... as completed .
    Now i fire the setObjectStatus adapter and it sets the RO status as revoked successfully . The check boxes like enable, disable , revoke etc are disabled as a result of setting the RO status as revoked . But the task inside doesnot become canceled.
    Any ideas how to achive the cancellation of tasks as well ?
    Thanks
    'Suren

    Hi Surendra.
    What did you get when you run the tcUserOperationsIntf.getObjects(userKey)? When you run this method, you'll get all object instance for a specific user, so you have to read the Object Instance.Key attribute.
    Also, you can invoke the methods below of useroperationsintf:
    void revokeObject(long plUserKey, long plObjectInstanceForUserKey)
    Revokes the provisioning of an object for a user directly without going through a request.
    void revokeObjects(long plUserKey, long[] paObjectInstancesForUserKey)
    Revokes the provisioning of an object for a user directly without going through a request

  • Maintaining the systems status as release at the time of upload

    Dear all,
    While uploading the master data for Business Entity and Buildings I want to make the system status as release. How do we achieve this?
    Also at the time uploading the contracts   I want to make the system status of the contract as active. How can we do this at the time of upload.
    Expertu2019s  pointers are highly appreciated.
    Regards.
    Vara Prasad

    Hi Vara,
    I guess you are using the API_RE_* function modules for uploading the data. You can use these
    APIs also to set the system status. You have to set the parameter ID_TRANS and provide the activity that sets the status (example: for system status "released" the activity BFRE, for activation of contracts the activity is MCAK).
    I hope this information is helpful for you.

  • Vehicle stuck in Yard Management - Is there a way to change the HU Status?

    Hi Everyone,
    I'm trying to remove a vehicle that's stuck in Yard Management (under a warehouse) but I had no luck so far. The problem is that the Handling Unit was set to deleted and I haven't been able to change its status through HU02 or even using HUMO. The system status right now is DLTD. When I try to delete the vehicle in YM, it says that I can't because of the status that's in right now.
    Is there a way to change the system status back to 'PLND' for example?
    Also, if I could find a way to set the user status, would it prevail over the system status?
    If more information is needed, I'll gladly provide it.
    Thanks everyone!

    Hi Petr,
    Thanks for replying.
    I tried using this transaction but I don't think it's implemented in my company's SAP version.
    I think I found what the problem is. In VEKP, the status field (VEKP-STATUS) is set to '0001' (Planned) instead of 0060 (Deleted). But if I display it using tcode HUMO, it shows up as 'DLTD'. Maybe the issue is that both status are not in sync with each other and that's why I can't remove the vehicle from Yard Management.
