Setting the refresh rate on B1 dashboards

Hello,
is there any way to modify the refresh rate for the standard SAP B1 dashboards that come with PL12?
any idea what the default refresh rate is?
thanks, dan

Hi Dan,
Currently, there is no refresh rate setting for dashboard in PL12. You could request it in the SBO product development collaboration forum.
I think it is because the report is for dashboard SAP B1. Dashboard is management report and is not daily operational report. No need to use refresh rate.  Probably, when run it in the excelcius, you can set it. I am not sure but you may check it

  • How to set screen refresh rate for linux console (runlevel 3)?

    Hi,
I have a CRT monitor, so the refresh rate is always needed to configure. I use 720x400 resolution in console, but the refresh rate is 70hz. Are there any ways to get it higher in console (with KMS or without)?

    thank you for replies
But setting the resolution, e.g. vga=773, would not change the refresh rate, or would it?
It would, but usually not to the maximum provided by the monitor. May be it is real to find the place, where it looks for available resolutions linked with refresh rates...
According to the Gentoo page I can use uvesafb for setting refresh rate as well as other settings. And then I found uvesafb page in ArchWiki. But the way to set proper refresh rate is not so easy as I expected, because I need to install uvesafb and it needs additional daemon. And also I think KMS can't work here. However it's better than nothing, if I don't find any other way, I will try this one.

  • Why is the refresh rate slower in lab mode? photoshop cc 2014

    hi
why is the refresh rate slower in lab mode?
for example i load an image , rgb , ad an adjustament layer -> curve and i start to play with curve -> the refresh is instantaneous (i mean the image become more dark or lighter instantaneous )
but if i load an image -> conver in lab mode , the refresh rate is slower
i tried cs6 too, same behavior
ps how can i have an email to notify me that someone answer to this discussion?

  • The refresh rate for Mac mini 2014 at 3840x2160 using Thunderbolt

    Here: http://www.apple.com/mac-mini/specs/
, it says that the refresh rate for resolution 3840x2160 for HDMI is 30 Hz.
I'm wondering if it's the same using Thunderbolt, or more correctly DisplayPort.
    Thanks!

If I could ask another question regarding this... is 30 Hz poor even for desktop work? Or movies.
I believe the 30Hz is progressive and therefore for movies/video would normally look quite good. However for sports e.g. soccer which has a fast moving object i.e. the ball it would be less good. I have also seen comments suggesting that for computer use it is also less desirable particularly when you are scrolling as this entails affectively the entire screen image 'moving fast'.
This is not based on personal use as I cannot afford a 4K screen yet myself. However for DVDs 24p is considered a to give a good image for movies and this I can confirm from personal experience so 30p should be even better. Obviously 60p is better still but for that you need either a Mac Pro, iMac or MacBook Pro Retina.
It is probably going to depend on what you will be using it for. Perhaps you should consider spending a little more for a MacBook Pro Retina which can do 60 Hz.

  • How to set the scan rate in the example "NI435x.vi" for the 435x DAQ device?

I am using LabVIEW 6i, A 4351 Temperature/Voltage DAQ, and am using the example vi "NI 435x thermocouple.vi"
How do I set the scan rate on this VI? I added a counter to just to see the time between acquisitions, and it is roughly 4s for only 4 channels. The Notch Filter is set at 60, but is there a control for scan rate on this example. I'd like to acquire around 1 Hz.

Using this DAQ example, it may be easiest to simply place a wait function in the loop and software time when the data is extracted from the board. You can also take a look a the NI-435x pallette and the examples it ships with, along with the timing specs on page 3-3 of the 435x manual and set the filters to meet your needs:

  • How do I set the frame rate to 12fps on my video, and it not change randomly?

Hi, I imported a video layer from file then set the frame rate to 12fps, when I play the video it keeps changing the frame rate to random times. How do I keep it at 12fps

Click the windows start button, then right click on computer, this will bring up a window that will tell you how much ram your system has.
Also Start>Accessories>System Tools>System Information will give you all the details you need to know.
As for Codec, That is an abreviation for code/decode it tells windows how to code when saving a video and how to decode when playing a video. Most formats are wrappers (avi, wmv, mov, rt) Each of these have a codec that you can choose from when saving a video, that codec then must be installed on the users computer to see that same video. Most formats come with a basic number of codecs and the creator of the video can purchase other codecs that provide better feature set.
What the codec really does is takes the video and compresses it like a zip file then the user when playing require that codec to uncompress it.
So each codec has its own strength and weaknesses. Some can compress more making a smaller file and perhaps inturn removes more data to get that compression and therefore has a poorer quailty video (just an example)
I am sure you heard of a few codecs if you think about it. mpg, mp2, mp3, mp4, h.264 and so on. Mp3 is the only one I listed here that is for audio only. Yep thats right even audio uses codecs.

  • How can i set the Daq rate on the compactDAQ NI 9237?

I am using the  NI 9237 module in the CompactDAQ 9172 chassis, with a single channel.  I am using LabVIEW 8.2. I cannot find any software where I can set the DAQ rate on the module. The "daq assistant" in LabVIEW, the "Measurement and Automation explorer test panel and the example VI's all seem stuck at a rate of 5000 samples/sec. I only need 32 samples/sec.  The software offers an input variable for "rate" but does not respond.  Note that in the"Measurment and automation explorer test panel seems to allow higher rates but not lower.  Am I missing something?   My application has been crashing from time to time for not being able the retreive the data fast enough, I thought to minimize the rate to lower the transfer load on the operating system.

    Hello Alfonso,
It sounds like you might be getting errors -200279 and -200278.  (In the future, if you post the actual error codes, it helps us to know exactly what is happening).  Error -200279 happens when you are performing a hardware-timed acquisition (meaning the data is sampled according to a clock signal on your board), but your LabVIEW program is not reading the values from the buffer allocated for that task in computer memory fast enough.  Basically it's a buffer overflow error.  It means older samples have been overwritten before you attempted to read them out.  As the error message suggests, "increasing the buffer size, reading the data more frequently, or specifying a fixed number of samples to read instead of reading all available samples might correct the problem."  For more information on this error, please see the KB (DAQmx) Error -200279 During a Continuous, Buffered Acquisition.
Error -200278 happens most often when you have configured a finite acquisition, but are calling the DAQmx Read function in a loop.  If you want to perform a finite acquisition, you should only call DAQmx Read once.  For more information on this error, see the KB Error -200278 at DAQmx Read.
Finally, please refer to Abhinav's earlier post about the sample rate on the 9237 module.  As he described, the NI-DAQmx 8.3 driver will only allow you to set the sample clock to integer divisions of 50k (50,000/n, where n can be 1, 2, 3...13).  Since the maximum divisor is 13, the smallest sample rate that can be used is 3.846 kS/s.  You can check what value the driver is actually using for the sample clock by reading from the SampClk.Rate property of the DAQmx Timing property node.
I hope this helps!  Let me know if you have any questions about what I've described.
    Best regards,

  • Howto block the refresh rate ?

    Hello,
I am having a display issue with my monitor. It doesn't displays specific refresh rates so that I cannot anything when starting my mini mac. I know it checks on boot what monitor is connected to have the best display.
Actually I am using an old 15'' to force 60Hz display before plugin my IIyama monitor. It is annoying.
Anyone knows how to prevent this problem? Is there a solution whitout buying another monitor? I juste want to fix the refresh rate and don't let it detect on bootup.
    Thanks in advance.

AFAIK, there is no way to specifically stop Mac OS from detecting a display. That would be a handy feature in cases like yours.
The best thing I can think to do is to make a VNC connection between your mini and another computer. In this way you should be able to make a useable resolution selection on the mini from the other computer. Once you do this, it will stay that way for good.

  • How do you set the burn rate?

I have been told that best results are attained when DVDs are burned at a slow rate, such as 4X. I have no idea of the rate of my burns, and I 'm wondering how I can set the rate at 4X. Is the burn rate manipulated thru DVD Studio Pro, or is it simply determined by the balnk media you insert? For example: does an 8X disc automatically burn at 8X, and a 4X disc automatically burn at 4X?
    Thanks, Bob

The burn rate cannot be higher than what the drive is rated for, or the speed the disc is rated for, whichever is lower. So if you have a 2x burner (most likely considering the age of your computer), then that is the maximum speed you can burn at regardless of the speed of the disc media (which could be 16x).
Toast is software. So you would not use it "instead of" your Pioneer burner. You would use it with your Pioneer burner.

  • Setting the sampling rate in SignalExpress

I am using a cDAQ-9172 with a strain gauge module and a thermocouple module and using SignalExpress.  I want to acquire data at a pretty low frequency rate (2Hz), but I am unable to use 1 sample on demand in the acquisition setup.  I get the following error.
Error -201087 occurred at DAQ Assistant
    Possible Reason(s):
Measurements: Task contains physical channels on one or more devices that require you to specify the Sample Clock Rate.
    Specify a Sample Clock Rate.
    Device: cDAQ1
I am unable to setup a sample clock rate as it is 'blacked' out by the software in the 1 sample on demand mode.
When I try to use continuous or 'N' sample mode, the cDaq is sampling at a rate of around 1600 Hz, even though I am putting in a value of 1Hz on the seti[ screen.  The large amount of data will prevent me from downloading the data to Excel for further reporting.  I obviouisly don't need to sample my TC module at that rate either.
Is there anything I can 'easily' do to decrease the sampling rate down to a low level?  Everything I have tried doesn't seem to work and I don't really want to go away from SignalExpress.
    Jay

    Hi Jay
I am assuming that you are using the NI-9237.  This strain module has only a specific set of sampling rates.  If you specify a rate that is not supported it will corers the rate to the next higher sampling rate.  Also since you are using the cDAQ chassis, there is only sample clock so it must choose the highest sampling rate.  So it is not possible to sample at a lower rate.  Please see the following link.
If you have access to LabVIEW then I would suggest taking your readings at the fast rate and then average the samples before you write them to your file.  The following link has some more information on this.
If you are limited to Signal Express, this task is tricky.  If you select a N-Sample acquisition, set the samples to read to greater than two, and set the post acquisition delay  under the execution control tab to 1000, you acquisition will acquire the two samples at the very fast rate, but it will wait 1000mS between each acquisition.  This will slow the overall sample rate.

  • How to set the command rate?

    Hi mates!
How can I set the Ram command rate in the bios? I can't find anything about it. I also watched in the manual but nothing

gotti, I've found a way to do it, but it has to be set manually each time you reboot. I'm trying to see if there's a way to have it stay, or at the very least have it set automatically at every boot. stand by

  • Keithley 2701 LV driver: Setting the scan rate?

I downloaded the Keithley 2701 LV driver and the example programs work great. There is just one question that I have. I cannot find anywhere in the examples or in the LV drivers how to change the scan rate or scan interval. Everything else I'm able to change, such as number of points, channels, voltage levels, etc., but I can't figure out how to change my scan rate to once every 0.5 seconds or 1 second.
I'm not sure, maybe this is a question for Keithley but since it is a LV driver I decided to post here first.
    I'm using LV8.2
    Jeff

I am using the Keithley 2700 with the 7700 cards.  There is a vi named "ke27xx Configure Aperture Timing.vi" in the "ke27xx.llb" .
The vi sets the integration time for the A/D converter.  I was measuring 500uv and needed to improve my accuracy so increased my integration time.
