Setting up a basic order template

I'm trying to set up a basic template for an online order form for a 2014 Texas Barns Calender.
Cost is $20.00 each
Sales tax for Texas residents is .0825%
Need to have the option to change the quantity so that they can order more than one if desired.
Accept Visa, MC, AMEX and Paypal. I'm already set up on Paypal as a business account to do this.
I will be linking the online form to an add on facebook.
Can you please assist in setting this up? I've started the form but have no idea if I'm doing it right or how to continue. Thanks for your help!!

Adobe has been trying this and the product is called Muse ( Web design software | Download free Adobe Muse CC trial ). It doesn't give you the control over the code that most developers prefer but it could help bridge the gap for design if that is what you are looking for.

Basic order view IMG activities in ECC6.0

Hi guys,
In our ECC6.0 system the IMG activities for customizing the tab pages in the PM order are missing. In the releasenote for ECC 6.0 it says I should expect it under Maintenance and Service Orders -> Functions and Settings for Order Types -> Basic Order View.
Any of you have the same problem? How did you get to the IMG activities?

To enable the PM order screen layout in IMG, the extension set EA-SCM-IMG (Enterprise SCM switch for IMG) activation is enough or any other components are needs to be configured. (Component EA-APPL is already installed).
Is there any implications by activating this extension set? where should i get the documentation to know the affects by activating any extension set.

Admin Order Template gets displayed on sorting in genericsearch.jsp page

Dear All,
Standard Order template is customized and this template is available to all the customers who login to webshop. Admin creates this template and it is visible to all the customers who click on the New Order Template link and can transfer the contents to the basket.
However, with this customization, the sorting feature is not working correctly.
When we click on sort then the results get changed and only admin order templates are available.
Templates created by user are not appearing in the genericsearch.jsp page.
Any pointers on to eliminate this issue?

Fully understand your frustration. Almost every customer was / is there and only consolation here is, you are not alone. Hope some one in SAP is listening. In this world of web 2.0, web 3.0 interfaces, b2b application is mired in frames. Just not one, close to gazillion.
Well, you are already in the quagmire and consultants can't complain but must give solutions.
Actually, in your case, there is a vertical scroll bar and it comes to visibility if you scroll horizontally the frame that contains the result list. What a mess.
Well, we added a resource for working specifically with the stylesheet and framesets of the application and were able to come with a presentable set of frames without "invisible" scrollbars. But we are still far from being called a "fair website". Lot of tweaking of the sizes, percentages of the framesets and frames and changing the stylesheet components.

Basic Order View - Define View Profiles

In ECC 6.0, we have an option to customize the work order screen as per the busiess needs in the configuration path:
Plant Maintenance and CS -> Maintenance and Service Processing -> Functions and Settings for Order Types -> Basic Order View -> Define View Profiles
Question -> Is there a view profile defined by SAP for standard SAP work order screen?
We have a requirement to modify the standard SAP work order screen where we have to add additional tabs. Since there is no profile defined for standard SAP work order screen, we have to build from the scratch which takes a lot of time.
Any suggestions?

Thanks SN. Yes, I am aware of the user exit and also that we can configure the screens of work order in ECC 6.0 using SPRO but the only problem is that we have to build it from scratch. My question was to know if SAP had standard screen templates or profiles like they have for Notiification. Anyways thanks for your response, I got the below response from SAP for my question.

FMs to get the order items list for an order template

Hello Jin,
Function module CRM_ORDER_READ with either the Header GUID will give you everything about the order and you can optimize the call by limiting the sets you want to get in the export tables.
The item list (administration data) can be from ET_ORDERADM_I and the details about the products can be found from ET_PRODUCT_I
FYI, this will work for any transaction - Order, Quotation and of course Order Templates too.

Encrypting a File using Microsoft PKI Basic EFS template

Hi All;
I created a basic EFS template on my Lab issuing CA and configured it for auto-enrollment on the domain . After doing that I created a new domain user(Test) on the Active directory and logged in to my windows client machine which is windows 7
enterprise using that user (TEST). Now since the machine was set up for auto enrollment the EFS certificate gets issued to the user “TEST” as shown below
Now as per my understanding this Certificate is tied to the User “Test” for doing crypto operation.
So now I created a folder a folder named “Puneet” on the desktop of Windows 7 machine and created a file “secret.txt” inside and now I selected the properties of the file “ secret” and selected the advanced option in which I get the pop up “Advanced Attributes”
in that I selected “Encrypt contents to secure data” and now I believe my EFS certificate should come into picture and help me in encrypting the file .
But it fails with below error
I have looked into event log and it does not give much information .
Note: In home Lab setup KRA is up and running on my PKI setup.
Has any one of you encountered this error while doing crypto operation using PKI . Any pointers are welcomed

Update cart on order / template transfer

Hi,
Whenever we transfer items from order template or an order, the cart value in the header stays as it is.
It is not getting updated.
Can you kindly lemme know, how to update that on the event of transfer?

Hello Aarthi,
With templates and carts you have two options.
Scenario-1: You convert the entire template using the option "Create new order on the basis of an order template" in the welcome page to create a new cart. This you can do only when the cart is empty. Makes sense. In this scenario, all the header and item(s) details are used to create the cart.
Scenario-2: You can transfer item(s) from a template to an existing cart. Since this is an existing cart (you have made some header and item input already), no attempt is made by the program to change the cart header.
I think you are trying scenario-3.
Scenario-3: You want to transfer item(s) from a template to an empty cart. In this case it should create an empty cart and then transfers the item(s). You expect It should also copy the header information from the chosen template.
Hmmm, looks like SAP did not consider this in their usecases. Looks like SAP is strictly treating transfer as transfer of item only. Not a convert + transfer when the transfer is made to an empty cart.
See what is technically involved in these scenarios.
Scenario-1 uses Copy Transaction (Java+ABAP) - All you need here is the template Guid..
Scenario-2 uses Copy Item(s) (Java+ABAP) or Create Transaction + Copy Item(s). Here it takes only the Product id (or guid), qty and Uom only
Your scenario is slightly complex. It has to do, (a) Create Transaction, (b) Copy Item(s) as scenario-2. It also has to do (c) Read Header information from template and (d) Update Cart Header. Since SAP is not doing the last two tasks, you have to do them.
One more issue will be with the setting of Requested Delivery dates at Header and Item level. If you have noticed, when you input the Header RDD for the first time, an attempt is made how to migrate this to items. A confusing popup message asks three options. This is provided to "reduce" the pain of entering the RDD for each item. Since the tempates are created in the past and carts are made in the present, the RDD is usually irrelevant. And that is the reason when you use scenario-1, all header information except the RDD get copied over from template to cart.
So, your logic should take care to clear the RDD of the header and copied item and also see that the user is prompted to enter them appropriately in the cart. These are all business decisions which will drag your requirement easily to a BIG development effort.
Tell me why you can't use scenario-1 where it converts the template to cart? Did you try that?

CRM Order Template

Dear SDN team,
Can anyone help me to find the possible solutions to archive /Delete an Order Template in SAP CRM 5.0 system ??
We initially want to create B2B Sales orders as "draft Orders" and later delete / Archive these draft orders which are used once .
Please help us on this.

Immediately after creating the order object, if you can use the function module
call function 'CRM_STATUS_CHANGE_FOR_ACTIV_OW'
exporting
objnr = <basket / order guid>
vrgng = 'TOKO'.
you can set the system status to I1034 to Order template using program.
Alternatively, if the internal users want to use this with CRMGUI or WEBUI, you can create a custom status profile with a custom user status. The business transaction (Transaction column) is set to TOKO (Save as shopping basket) that might also do the trick of setting the system status. Configure this user status appropriately. By setting this user status, the corresponding system status will be triggered.

THank you. I would like to correct my statement. Order templates work differently between CRM and ERP backend system.
For ERP, they are indeed stored on java server. You do need to set the correct XCM settings. The tables Easwar mentioned are correct (please reference other thread)
For CRM, no XCM settings are not necessary as in CRM e-Commrece the order templates are written to the CRM database.
You can use transaction CRMD_ORDER in CRM to view the templates and they will contain a system status = "Order Template".

Creating ordering templates

Hi folks, i'm back with another question. I'm trying to set up a home based business, and I'm just trying to avoid going to a web designer. Is there anyway I can create an ordering template? Where someone can add their full name, location, product #, etc.. Where there will be little boxes where they put their cursor inside..type in the appropriate info..press enter, and all the info gets sent to a pre-arranged e-mail?
Or anything to that effect. Is it do-able? Or would I need an expert to add that into my webpage?

They way you're wanting to do this is not easy to do in iWeb. However you can add PayPal buttons or a PayPal shoppping cart as outlined here:

This makes credit card ordering with a secured transaction possible. The info you need will be sent to you in a email when the transaction is completed.

"You're all set to complete your order" emails

I'm not sure if this happens to others but it is getting old how many of these emails I get. While browsing, I place items in my cart on BB.com to see the price when that's the only way to see the price or to save them until I'm finished browsing. After I'm finished, I remove all the items from my cart. However, later that day and even the days following I get emails saying "You're all set to complete your order" or "You're all set to check out at Best Buy". These emails seem to have snapshots of my cart at various points while I was browsing but do not know that my cart is currently empty. I have gone back to BB.com, signed in, and verified my cart is empty. I realize the email is considered a marketing email and I can unsubscribe from these emails. But I like getting the emails for the daily deals and such and this type of email seems to be broken. It would be nice if this could be fixed so I could stop getting spammed with emails. Thanks.

Sifting through various marketing emails can be monotonous, and I apologize if you have found an overabundance of these in regards to items that were or are in your cart.
Presently, we are unaware of any issues with such emails. With that said, you should still be able to unsubscribe from these emails and still view the weekly deals and such via the Deals tab on BestBuy.com.

The same extension data is getting updated for Order template change process.
