Setting up a safari home page

I've been using Yahoo as my homepage for years. They are slowly discontinuing content that I use everyday.
I'm trying to find a homepage that will allow me to add my personal bookmarks such as financials and URLs that I use for work.
Yahoo has the ability to let me set up the URLs into different folders so I only have to open up the ones I need.
Sports, trending, etc. is not important to me. I just need it to be functional.
Any suggestions?

Setting a home page in Safari is straightforward.
Open safari and surf to the website you want as your home page. Then open Safari-->Preferneces.
click on the General icon the toolbar of the preferences window. Then on the homepage setting click on the button 'Set to current page'

From your Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Privacy tab.
Cick: Remove all website data
Then empty the Safari cache. Command + Option + E
Quit and relaunch Safari to test.

Ok I figured it out myself But for anyone else with the same problem I tried re-setting my network settings and that did the trick. I should have thought of that!

Even though set to open to home page, Firefox always opens in a new tab and to the previous tabs. All settings seem correct. I just want it to open in a new window to my home page

I cannot open Firefox in a clean new window to the home page. Options are set to open to home page and open new window in new tab is deselected. I do not want my history coming up every time I open. All new pages come up in a new tab with the existing one staying put.

This happens when I have multiple windows open. I have one window minimized on the task bar. I then launch a new firefox window and start surfing, opening multiple tabs in that window. Then I close that window. (My original window is still minimized in the taskbar). Now, I launch a new firefox window and the tabs that I had opened in the window I had just closed are all back.
If I close all windows and then launch firefox, it goes to my home page.
FYI, I'm running Windows 7 64-bit.

On the Safari page tap the bookmarks icon. Tap favorites, slide the ones you want to delete to the left. When you bookmark a new site when it says location make sure you tap bookmarks and not favorites.

MBook Pro, OS 10.7.5, Safari Home Page ??

Safari home page is defaulted to "only-search.com" and it won't let me change it. MacBook Pro, 2.3 GHz Intel Core i5, 4GB, running OS10.7.5 and Safari version 6.1.6 (7537.78.2). I checked software update for OS and Safari (auto, though checked myself) and everything is up to date. I change the "Homepage" and when I restart Safari the "only-search.com" web page keeps coming up. On occasions a message also appears that "my web browser is about to crash and yes or no to clean it" which I have ignored. Crap from some third party? Anyone know how to get a clean Safari version? Thanks.

When i try to delete a safari home page shortcut there is no favorites option when i tap the book icon. why?

Don't know why. Safari always goes back to the last page selected. If you want, you can save your desired home page as a web clip as described here: http://www.apple.com/iphone/how-to/#safari.web-clips
Then use the web clip icon in place of the Safari icon and you will always go to your home page.

How do I get rid of Bing as my home page? It "took over" without my setting it as my home page.

To update Java, open Windows Control Panel and find Java in the list. Then click the update button. Do remember to uncheck the option to install the Yahoo Toolbar otherwise you'll get that piece of junk on your system too. See screenshot.
