Setting up before activation

Hi.
My Homehub arrived on Tuesday and my BB went active yesterday. This means my BTV is due go active next wednesday.
I have to go out next Wednesday evening after I come home from work. Therefore I am wondering, if the box arrives on tuesday, can It be set up and left ready for Wednesday, or do I have to wait until the account is activated

Hi Meatyman
I'm not to sure about this.... You should be able to set the box up as soon as it arrives but you will not be able to do much with it untill your account is created/activated you might be able to view the freview channel at most. If all is well you should just find that the on demand content will just start working sometime on Wednesday.

    <u>For Time Management</u>
    Set Up Customer Enhancement
You can use a SAP enhancement to access a Customer Exit. A customer exit will complete the info source fields with data you specify for the Personal Work Schedule Hours 0HR_PT_01 during the data transfer.
See the documentation available on the customer exit before carrying out this step. Choose the "Utilities" menu option to access the online manual.
    Requirements
To use the customer exit successfully, you should have sufficient knowledge of the ABAP programming language. You can insert your own coding at specific points in the program that are reserved for this purpose, however, SAP does not offer service or support for the content of your coding. Any data that you make available to the application using the defined interface is stored consistently in the R/3 System. If data cannot be processed correctly in the system, the data is ignored.
    Standard Settings
The customer exit is not activated in the standard R/3 System.
    Activities
    1. Create an enhancement project.
    2. Assign the enhancement HRPTDW01 to this project.
    3. Edit the customer exit EXIT_SAPLHRMS_BIW_PTDW_001.
    4. Document your project (provide long text).
    5. Activate the project. Your enhancement must be activated before it takes effect.
    Further Notes
When maintaining the customer exit, insert your coding in the Include ZXPTDWU01. Enhancements, in contrast to modifications, are basically independent of release. Enhancements are not made in the standard R/3 System but in a name range specifically reserved for customers.
For more information on SAP enhancements, see the documentation on HRPTDW01 Time Data Extractor: Customer-Specific Fields.

  • Windows could not set a partition active on disk 0. error 0X80300024

I followed the "Step-by-Step: Basic Windows Deployment" Link: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd349348%28v=ws.10%29.aspx
after creating aotounattend.xml file, I went to step2: building reference installation. however, recieving the below error message:
"windows could not set a partition active on disk 0. The target disk, partition, or volume does not support the specified operation. The error occurred while applying the unattend asnwer file's <DiskConfiguration> setting. Error code: 0X80300024"
it happened in the beginning of installation.
what's more, before that error, system still asked me to choose which languange in the installation and I also need to click install button to begin installation.
I believe that with answer file, windows 7 should start installation automatically. Am I right?

    Hello brjdunn,
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.
You are able to change your Apple ID by following the instructions below.  That way you will still have access to all of your previous purchases:

You'll need to connect it to the iTunes library you normally sync it with and restore it.  If iTunes asks you for this passcode before it will let you proceed, connect the iPod to iTunes in recovery mode instead using the instructions in this Apple support document.

    with best regardshello,
You did not set the variable JAVA_HOME. Set it to the home directory where the jdk is installed. For that give the command like set JAVA_HOME=C:\jdk1.3.1 in the DOS Prompt along with setting the J2EE_HOME and PATH variables...
you may also make a new system environment variable JAVA_HOME and assign the jdk home path to it so that u need not set it everytime for a new DOS Window..
    hope that helps..

  • Top Margin Woes: Setting the "Before" Margin for Every Page in a Section

    Hi,
I've scoured the forums to no avail on this one. I am trying to create a document where the text in Section 1 appears 1 inch from the top of each page and 2 inches from the top of each page in Section 2. Should be pretty straightforward, right? Please tell me it is! I'm using Pages '09 (version 4.0.5).
Right now, the document margin is set to 1 inch from the Top, so Section 1 is fine. For Section 2, when setting the Before margins after a Layout Break (in the Layout Inspector under the Layout tab), only the first page of that section gets a Before margin of 2 inches. Every page after that in Section 2 is still 1 inch from the top.
    Suggested Workaround Attempted
I tried the "Move Object to Section Master" workaround, but the menu item "Format > Advanced > Move Object to Section Master" is disabled when performed on an "inline" object, which is what is required to force the text down from the top of each page in Section 2. Turning it into a "floating" object enables the "Move Object to Section Master" menu item, but since it is floating. the text for that section is not pushed down, the rectangle is just displayed in the background of each page in Section 2.
Any ideas on how to solve my Top margin woes would be much appreciated!

    Hello
To push a text down in the text body using the clean way which means setting space after, requires that we have already a paragraph which means a chunk of text ended by a paragraph break.
    It's exactly what I do.
Most of the time, we don't put a paragraph break at the end of a header so it's not a paragraph and so, we can't define the space after value.
My tip just gives it the status of paragraph allowing me to define space after the clean way. The dirty one was to insert several returns to adjust the height which I carefully rejected.
It's exactly what we discovered some months ago:
we can't set space before (above) at top of a page because there is no paragraph before (above) in the page.
As far as I know, the  "Use Previous Headers and Footers" must always be set correctly. I'm remembering a thread which became huge because the OP can't understand that he had to define these properties correctly to get correct results with his captured pages.
I wish to add that at this time we don't know exactly what the OP want to achieve.
Maybe he want to move down the top of the print area and the header.
You can't do that with your tip.
With mine, I just insert a paragraph break at the beginning of the header.

  • Going form Note 2 to Note 4, can I use wifi and xfer data before activation

Already have Verizon. I want to update the Note 4 first, move over my apps and data before activating the Note 4, can I do this?
When I do, do i use the SIM card in the Note 2 in the Note 4?

I definitely want to make sure your new phone will be up and running just the way you want! The best way to fully transfer data will be to back up your current phone and then activate the new phone to transfer. Purchase history will be stored if you use the same Google account, and you can backup data using Verizon Cloud too: http://vz.to/1udgXIg

  • Do I need to update the iPhone 5 before activation the iPhone 6?

I just received my new iPhone 6 and I was told (from a friend) that I should't attempt to activate it until my old phone was updated. My current iPhone 5 is not on the 8.1 operating system because I have no memory left whatsoever. I backed up my iPhone 5 today and attempted to update it on my Mac, just to be safe. After many failed attempts, I kept getting an error message saying that my network connection was lost. This hasn't happened to me before and is becoming quite frustrating.
So, my question is, do I need to have my old (iPhone 5) phone updated in order to turn on an activate my new iPhone 6? The old phone has been backed up successfully, but I was told that the new phone came loaded with  my information already. I just don't want to screw anything up.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

So all I need to do is make sure my current phone has been backup before activating the new iPhone, correct?
To be correct, no. You can activate whenever you want.
If you want to use your current iPhone data on your new phone, backup your current phone (iPhone 5) then restore the new iPhone with this backup.
