Setting up CS5 Creative Suite

Hi, I'm having an issue with installing my CS5 Web Premimum Creative Suite. I have the CD and the serial code that I bought a couple of years ago, although I have a new macbook pro and alas, it doesn't have a CD drive much to my frustration.
Is there a way of downloading this version and inputting the existing serial number I have, or will it work if I download CS6 and input my original serial code?
Any advice would be great.

Hi, I still am not getting any joy with this, I have followed the links through to the CS5 Web Premium for Mac, have tried downloading the file but when downloaded nothing happens, and when opening the package contents it says nothing is available?
Any more ideas? Really frustrating as I have the disk sat next to me and don't really want to purchase an additonal cd drive.

You can download the software from the website and then type in your old serial number to activate it... that is, IF the installer database will work with your operating system. I am having problems reinstalling CS4 with a new computer running on Win 8.1. When I called customer support, they told me a whole lot of nothing for 45 minutes and then directed me to a chat session. After about 30 minutes on chat, I was basically told they don't offer support for older products. The website says "no known issues" for installation... but that very well may be because they are unwilling to record the issues when someone calls to report them! Good luck with your install. I wish I had CS5 at this point, as it appears there is still support available for it... but you are on the bubble timewise for that to continue. Other downloads

Invalid Serial number for Adobe CS5 Creative Suite Master Collection

I bought a macbook pro off of Kijiji the other year and it came with the Adobe CS5 Creative Suite Master Collection. Just the other month I upgraded my system to OS X Yosemite and now every time I try to open my products, it asks for the serial number which, when entered is said to be invalid. Also, I don't have much information about the Adobe Products because the guy I bought it from didn't send the information with my computer. Can anybody help!

CS5 Creative Suite unable to download updates

As the title implies, the Adobe Application Manager alerts me that I have updates for my CS5 Creative Suite software. I tell it to download and install the updates. It gives me errors that simply say the following:

Please see Transfer an Adobe product license for information about transferring your CS5 license to another company. I don't believe that there is a fee involved--but both parties need to complete some paperwork, as outlined in that document.

I bought CS5 Creative Suite (Student Version) through amazon, and now wish to transfer from my laptop to my new PC... is this possible?

Simply install it like on the original system. No magic procedure required. Just deactivate it on the old system if you no longer use it there.

CC Cleaner tool deleted my entire CS5 Creative Suite

I was advised to use the adobe cleaner tool to help me download the creative cloud app, it did help.
But it also deleted (not uninstalled) my entire CS5 creative suite. How can I get those programmes back?

I thought as much however The programmes are not on my computer any longer.
I have them saved on an external hardrive and can copy them to my Mac, but when I try to open them I get a configuration error.

Hi Bob,
I'm running on an iMAC 2ghz intel core duo. My applications I'm using are Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Dreamweaver. I would upgrade my RAM to 4GB but my iMAC only accepts up to 2GB. Don't know why apple made it that way.

Well, now I cannot reproduce the error because I cannot install it again! Woohoo! For some reason, all three discs executables try installing the folders, files, etc... into a different folder making it when I try installing CS2 impossible since it asks for Disc 2, Disc 3, etc..
ANYWAY, my main issue was began with when I somehow managed to install it correctly, I got the very same message I contacted you guys over: Adobe Photoshop will now close because missing serial number something like that, and following it saying it will close.

Camera raw won't update for Creative Suite CS5 for windows 7

After a recent hardware meltdown I have recently reinstalled my CS5 Creative Suite onto a new machine (running windows 7).
For some reason the Adobe Application manager won't update. I keep getting the same error message and getting redirected to redownload the Application manager. I have done this several times and keep getting the same error. I have also tried rebooting numerous times and also installing the updates manually from the Adobe website. Neither have worked
Specifically, I need to update camera raw as I now cant read any of the .ORF files that I have.
Any help would be much appreciated.
