I setup my main email account in Thunderbird following the instructions on the help page. Then I logged in to BT Yahoo and setup a sub account. I proceeded to set that up in Thunderbird too and it receives email but I cannot send email from it. The main account works correctly but when trying to send a message from the sub account the password is rejected. The password is correct because I can login to BT Yahoo and send/receive email no problem.
I hate webmail, especially the BT Yahoo login page which is awash with a page full of unwanted graphics making it difficult to use. If it is a design feature that up to 10 sub accounts can be used only as webmail then they are next to useless to me. I have had multiple email accounts from my previous ISP running until last week all easily manually setup in Thunderbird and using the same smtp server and a single password and yet this does not appear to be the case for BT Yahoo email in Thunderbird. When attempting to send from the sub account neither the password for the main account nor that for the sub account is accepted by mail.btinternet.com
So what is wrong?
Hi. Welcome to the forums
Due to the way BTYahoo! email functions, you need to make sure that you have a unique smtp server setting for each account in Thunderbird, otherwise you will get errors - including "553 address not verified".
(Tools/Account settings then on the left down to Outgoing Server (SMTP) and setup a similar one to that of your primary account, but using the sub account email address. Give it a name. Then point at this server name from the main account setting).

  • Final Issue Indicator not set in maitnenance order after ECC 6.0 upgrade

    Hi,
    We encounter this problem after upgrading to ECC6.0 from SAP R/3 4.6C
    Final issue indicator (RESBD-KZEAR) is not being set in maintenance order (IW33) for sub-component non-stock items in General Data page
    Would be great if anyone could guide in this regard
    Detailed Scenario:
    1) Maintenance Order is created (IW31) is created in plant A
    2) For non-stock items, reservation created by maintenance order creates a purchase requisition
    3) Account Assigned STO (against maintenance order) is created from purchase requisition
    4) Transfer Posting done from Plant B (351 movement) for complete qty
    5) GR at Plant A done (101 movement) for complete qty.
    6) Final Issue Indicator is not set in General Data page eventhough the complete quantity is delivered.
    Thanks

    Hi,
    Please check in the STO if the "Delivery completed" indicator is checked or not?
    If Yes, then search some correction notes of SAP and get it implemented or raise OSS message with SAP to get the Final Issue indicator to be set in maintenance order.
    If No, then ask your MM consultants to investigate that. They can check the config of "Goods Receipt" Or check if the total quantity GR has been done Or some Under delivery/ Over delivery tolerance has been maintained.
    Thanx.

  • Replication of Sales Order from SAP ECC to SAP CRM

    Hi,
    The scenario I am working on is breifly as under:
    Telesales will create sales order directly in ECC. The sales order created in ECC will be replicated in CRM. I have some queries and request guidance:
    1. The same sales order type will be used by ECC for creating orders from telesales, as well as regular sales orders in ECC. I need to replicate only sales orders created by telesales. Please guide how to achieve the scenario requirement.
    2. There are many 'Z' Partner function in ECC in sales order, some of them are mandatory and others are optional. During replication, if the 'Z' partner functions are not created and maintained in CRM, what will be the impact? Will the sales order replicate or no. Impact in sales order replication of mandatory partner function and optional partner function not available in CRM.
    3. Impact of 'Y' and 'Z' condition type (optional) not maintained / imported from ECC to CRM in sales orders.
    Regards,
    Rajesh

    1. In R3AC1 set filter according to your needs for object SALESORDER. There are quite a few fields on which you can set filter.
    2. Partner functions will not affest replication. Replication is more strict from CRM to ERP hen viceversa. Also you said that optinal partner functons will be missing, so there is no reason that problems should accore. But of course standard sold-to party and shi-to party should be provided for pricing reasons.
    3. Should reprsent not problem, but pricing procedures must be synchronized between both systems.

  • Please Read This if You Need Help Setting Up Email...

    Hi Everyone!
    If you are hoping to use your Nokia phone for send and receiving emails you will need to set this up prior to use.
    You may find that your phone has already been setup to send and receive emails by your network. This will be for the email address that has been provided to you by your network. If you would like to set up your phone for another email account, like your private or work email account, this will need to be set up by you.
    The easiest way to do this is to order the settings from our site. You can do this from this link: Nokia Settings Page Here you can order all the settings you might need, to get your email settings click on Order Advance Settings and choose email when prompted.
    Dont worry if you can't see your email provider in that list, if you have Nokia PC Suite installed you can connect your phone to your PC and configure your email account with some software.
    If you have a 9500, 9300 or 9300i communicator you can go here: Nokia Configuartion Tool
    If you have 3220, 6230i, 8800, 6810, 6820 or 6822 you can go here: Nokia Email Configuration Tool
    If you have a series 60 phone like a 6680 or 7610 etc you can install the Settings Wizard from here: Nokia Settings Wizard. This application will attempt to configure your email settings for you. You will need a working installation of PC Suite to install this from your PC. If you are able to get the installation file on to your phone you will be able to install from there.
    If your phone has not been listed in any of the above points, then unfortunately you will need to configure the phone manually. If you need to do this you will have to find out some basic information first:
    Your incoming server address
    Your outgoing server address
    Do you require a secure incoming/outgoing connection?
    Do you need SSL?
    Your email provider will be able to provide all this information, if you get stuck during the setup on what you should be entering for a setting, your email provider will be able to help you out.
    Hope this is enough to help some of you out, any comments are welcome - just send me a PM.
    Cheers
    Karim

    Road Runner is a pain at times to get to work on both Wi-Fi and EDGE. It seems as if their outgoing mail server doesn't like to roam. CWMX is ONLY for use on the cellular network, and if you plan on using Wi-Fi to send e-mails periodically, CWMX will NOT work.
    My solution: Sign up for a GMAIL account, and forward your e-mails to the GMAIL account (provided POP access is enabled). Just log-in to this GMAIL account with your iPhone, and you'll get all your e-mails! If you need any help, let me know, I'll be glad to get you some directions.

  • Trying to set an email address

    I am using Oracle 9i and SQL*Plus on Windows XP.
    I am trying to set an email address in my object table using an object method.
    I have the following types:
    CREATE OR REPLACE TYPE student_type AS OBJECT
    (FirstName varchar2(15),
    LastName varchar2(15),
    Address address_type,
    Contact contact_type,
    DateOfBirth date,
    Nationality varchar2(15),
    AttendanceMode varchar2(15),
    StudentNo varchar2(15),
    Userid varchar(15),
    FeeStatus varchar2(25))
    create type contact_type as object
    (home_tel_no number(14),
    mobile number(14),
    email varchar2(25))
    and have created a method to set an email address:
    MEMBER FUNCTION setEmail (self IN OUT student_type, em varchar2) RETURN number,
    PRAGMA RESTRICT_REFERENCES (setEmail, WNPS, RNPS)
    along with all of the other necessary code which works OK.
    I have implemented it with the following code but am not sure if it is correct:
    MEMBER FUNCTION setEmail (SELF IN OUT student_type, em varchar2) RETURN NUMBER IS
    BEGIN
    SELF.CONTACT.EMAIL := em;
    RETURN 1;
    END;
    but when I try to run it, i get the following error:
    SQL> SELECT S.SETEMAIL('[email protected]') FROM STUDENT_TABLE S WHERE FIRSTNAME = 'Sammy';
    SELECT S.SETEMAIL('[email protected]') FROM STUDENT_TABLE S WHERE FIRSTNAME = 'Sammy'
    ERROR at line 1:
    ORA-06572: Function SETEMAIL has out arguments
    Any help with this would be great.
    James

    SELECT S.SETEMAIL('[email protected]') FROM
    STUDENT_TABLE S WHERE FIRSTNAME = 'Sammy'
    ERROR at line 1:ORA-06572: Function SETEMAIL has out arguments
    er...that'll be because your member function has an OUT parameter, self:
    MEMBER FUNCTION setEmail (self IN OUT student_type, em varchar2) RETURN number,(1) You need to reference all parameters in the function, so you need two arguments in your call - but...
    (2) we cannot use methods with OUT parameters in SELECT statements, because that's the law.
    Do you need to pass SELF into your method? If so you'll have to use PL/SQL to do this instead.
    Looking at your code again, I see you are actually using a SELECT statement to alter the data iin the database. This is not allowed at all. SELECT statements are, must be, read only.

  • Using MS Access Web App, can you set the tab order of the fields on a form?

    Using MS Access Web App, can you set the tab order of the fields on a form?  Doesn't appear to be a property.  I don't see a programmatic method.  I saw someone suggest using goto control on the after update event trigger but what if the person
    doesn't edit the field?  No event would be fired.
    Jim

    Hi Jim,
    >>Using MS Access Web App, can you set the tab order of the fields on a form?
    I am afraid you could not. In Web applications, the tab order is set automatically and cannot be changed.
    (From
    https://support.office.com/en-au/article/Set-the-tab-order-for-controls-3d7f749c-5a53-42b2-bb0e-2323fa044e2e)

    The goto method is a workaround, but it should be triggered by a specific event. What I can figure out is changing the order of the fields.
    If this is a feature you want to include in future versions of Access Web app, please submit a feedback as the picture below:

  • CRM Sales Order to SAP ECC troubleshooting

    Hi,
    I'm trying to replicate SAP CRM Sales order to SAP ECC, I have matched (transaction and document type, item categories). But when I create sales order in CRM, the following error occurs in the Web UI:
    Transmission log
    SALES_HEADER_IN has been processed successfully (Notification S V4 233)
    The sales document is not yet complete: Edit data (Notification W V1 555)
    Unknown object type 'BUS2032' (Notification E RL 303)
    SALES_ITEM_IN has been processed successfully (Notification S V4 233)
    Please note that the BDOC messages state in the middleware is processed and everything looks fine in SMW01. The customer and product are already replicated from the ERP
    Is there a more user friendly method to debug the error and to know the exact error.
    Thanks In Advance,
    Ahmed

    Hi Ahmed, ,
    It seems that the CSA bdoc is green (the internal CRM one) but the second , the replication one,  is not created
    due to this error.
    Here a few advises:
    Fistly create the same document directly in ECC. You might already get the same incompletion log as well in ECC and the reason should be quite obvious then.
    Check as well in ECC in t-code SE91 as in which program  error  RL 303 is used. You might have customized code in ECC.
    If this is not helping please use as well report CRM_ODE_CHECK_CFG to fing out if there some missing settings in the
    BTX interface. See as well note 490932 (it is an old note but the settings mentioned are still relevant for highr releases).
    Good luck with it.
    Best regards
    Christophe

    Do you have a BlackBerry Data Plan enabled on your account with your carrier or mobile provider?
    You must, in order to get the RIM push email functions you are looking for, as well as addtional BlackBerry data services such as the internet browser, Facebook for BlackBerry, BlackBerry Messenger, and much more.
    So, call your carrier and inquire about having the BlackBerry Data Plan added to your account.
    Good luck.

  • Cannot set up email or gmail

    I have been given the curve 8900 by my brother it was locked to vodaphone and is now unlocked, when it comes to setting up email I only have the blackberry enterprise server option. I want the device to download email when attached to a wireless netwrok and so I would like to set up a pop3 email app - can this be done?
    I also understand that there should be a gmail app that I can use as I also have a gmail account - but I seem to be going around in circles and most posts are discussing setting up data packages with their carrier.
    I just want email when connected to WiFi - any ideas would be gratefully received.

    TJB.

    It is inaccurate to compare the way BB's do email with the way others do it...rather, contrasting the different methods is a better approach. Others use an on-device email client. BB's do not have that...rather, they use BIS (BlackBerry Internet Service -- hosted at the carriers/RIM) as the intermediary between the BB and the various email services that you configure. You store, into BIS, your email credentials. BIS then can check for new stuff without generating any traffic to the BB (unless there is new stuff that needs to be delivered to the BB). Other devices, since they are an on-device email client, must generate traffic over the carrier network even for the act of checking for new email (even if there is nothing new). This is how BB's achieve, from the perspective of the BB, true PUSH email. And, for that enhanced functionality, you must subscribe to a data plan. Even if you are using WiFi as the transport path, you are still needing to use the carrier hosted BIS infrastructure...hence, the need even then to subscribe to the proper plan level.
    That said, you might be able to use the add-on gmail client via WiFi only...I've never attempted just that, but I know it works over WiFi. For other email services, you'd have to investigate alternate methods for accessing them that does not use BIS. But, the native email app on BB's requires BIS.
    It is unfortunate that your early assumptions about how BB's handle email turned out to be inaccurate. Hopefully your carrier will work with you to get you something that functions in the manner you desire.
    Good luck!

  • HT1277 how do i uncheck 'password' authentication when setting up email accounts on ipad 2

    how do I uncheck the password authtication when setting up email accounts on ipad 2

  • Trouble Setting up Email

    I am having trouble setting up my email account on both my Mac and my ipad.  Both will receive emails but neither will connect to the server to send.  My Incoming Server and Outgoing Server is the same.  I have this email account set up on my PC Microsoft Exchange and have no problems.  I am not sure what I am doing wrong but both the Mac and ipad is having the same problem.  I have deleted the mail accounts and retried several times.  Help please.

    You need to contact your school's IT department or whichever dept. is responsible for setting up email accounts for students to get the required account setup information in order to access the account with an email client and not webmail.
    You are currently accesssing the account via webmail using a browser and you need the account settings required for accessing the account with an email client - be sure to use this term.
    You need the following:
    Account Type: POP or IMAP
    Incoming mail server
    User name format - usually the portion of your email address in front of the @ sign only but sometimes it is your entire email address depending on the email account provider.
    Password - this you already know.
    Outgoing Mail Server or SMTP server and is the SMTP server authenticated just as the incoming mail server. Server Port for the SMTP server - 25 is the default for SMTP servers but it might be 587.
    Is SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) supported and/or required for the incoming and outgoing mail server.

    Hi All,
    I would like to send set of emails from SSIS.

    Hi Vishal,
    Thanks for the response.
    Example doesn't say how to dynamically control To and From lines. What I am looking for is to send mails from an existing table which has To,From,Subject and Body. Basically 1 email per row from an existing table
    regards,
    P M-S
    You can do this in T - SQL itself using sp_send_dbmail
    the code will look like below
    IF OBJECT_ID('tempdb..#temp') IS NOT NULL
    DROP TABLE #temp
    SELECT *,
    ROW_NUMBER() OVER (ORDER BY PK) AS ID
    INTO #temp
    FROM Yourtable
    DECLARE @ID int,@To varchar(5000),@From varchar(5000),@Subject varchar(max)
    SELECT TOP 1 @ID = ID,
    @To = To,
    @From = From,
    @Subject = Subject
    FROM #temp
    ORDER BY ID
    WHILE @ID IS NOT NULL
    BEGIN
    EXEC sp_send_dbmail @recipients = @To,
    @from_address = @From,
    @subject = @Subject
    SELECT TOP 1 @ID = ID,
    @To = To,
    @From = From,
    @Subject = Subject
    FROM #temp
    WHERE ID > @ID
    ORDER BY ID
    END
    Assuming you've default private mail profile set or there's a public profile defined for msdb
    otherwise you need to pass a valid mail profile

  • How can I set up email so I can send iPhoto without using a .mac account?

    Hello!
    I am trying to send an iPhoto via email. Since I do not want to set up the .mac account yet, how do I correctly set the email send and receive perimeters? POP?
    I want to use my yahoo email.
    Thanks!
    Powerbook G4   Mac OS X (10.4.4)

    Thanks again Allan.
    I figured out the AOL iChat LATE last night.
    I finally got my email up and running. I called Cox to get the correct POP and SMTP addresses. It still wasn't sending, I spoke with Apple who confirmed I had all my perimeters set up correctly. Back to Cox. After a couple frustrating hours, the only reason the email was not sending was that Cox did not support the SSL that I had checked off.
    The great thing about Mac (which I kept overlooking) was when I was trying to send my email, it was giving me hints for example the error message smtp.etc is not connecting with the SSL. I could have saved myself some trouble by unchecking that and testing it earlier.

    I cannot send an email from my iPad 2? No problem receiving, why does this happen? Have tried the suggestions for setting up email and after doing the sync mail through iTunes receiving worked great but still cannot send? Any help would be great!

    The fact that you can receive means you have a valid e mail address, and have established the connection to the incoming server, so all of that works.  Since the send does not work, that means your outgoing server is rejecting whatever settings you used formthe outgoing set up.  Try them again.
    Google your particular isp, and ipad and many times you will find the exact settings needed for your isp.  Or tell us here, and soneone else may be on the same isp.  Some mail services need you to change a port, or have a unique name for the outgoing server.
    Kep trying.
