Setting up hp deskjet d1660 on QOOK hub

Hello,
I have QOOK hub and hp deskjet d1660. I want to use my printer in wireless network via QOOK hub.
I connected usb cable between the printer and hub.
How can I set it up?

My Deskjet D1660 won't print part of my Word document

Please help me!
Yesterday I struggled for three hours to print black until I found out the cartridge ink was clogged, I cleaned it and that solved it. I've got a HP Deskjet D1660 and my laptop is Windows 7.
But today I was printing part of a Word document (page 24 onwards) and it just printed a couple of pages. It won't print page 26 onwards! printer says there is nothing in the queue and that the printer is ready. I've tried everything I could think of...... please help me; I think the problem is not the printer as it would printer anything else, including other Word documents. It must be something else, I just don't know what! :'(

First off, I am glad to hear you have been able to clear the clogged ink jet that was preventing the Photosmart D1660 from printing black. Regarding the current issue, not printing past a set page number, let's try and fix this for you.
Since you have a Windows Operating System, run the HP Print and Scan Doctor. This will look into driver, software and communication problems that could be causing this.
Let me know the results, what passes, fails, etc and I will be looking forward to hearing back from you.

Windows 7 and HP Deskjet D1660

I'm operating a 64 bit Windows 7 with the HP Deskjet D1660. When I print, the printer really slows down and will sometimes freeze up. Also, it won't print multiple copies of the same form. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers and short of turning the printer off each time i print something, i'm stumped. Can someone help me?

HP DeskJet D1660 hangs in the middle of a print job?

My HP DeskJet D1660 occasionally hangs in the middle of a print job. No error message appears but the light in the power button is blinking. I have tried opening the printer queue and deleting the job. The queue switches from status "printing" to status "deleting" and hangs with the queue never deleting the print job.
Solutions tried: turning off printer, unplugging printer, unplugging and replugging the USB cable. None of these clears the queue or restarts the printer. Restarting the machine also did not unclog the queue initially, however, after a lot of cable unpluging I got it cleared and was able to use the printer again.
Today It stopped in the middle of a print job again this time with an Excel spreadsheet (the first was printing a web page). After trying some of the same fixes again but before powering down the computer I somehow got the HP Guided Solution up (I"m not sure what I did to trigger it). Using this help system I managed to get the queue unclogged and the printer up and running following about ten different steps.
Why is this problem starting to reoccur. Is there a permanent fix or will I have to struggle thru the process of stopping and starting the print spooler every time it happens.

I understand that both of your HP Officejet Pro 8600 printers are not able to print correctly and quit in the middle of jobs.
What is the firmware version of the printer? click here to find out how to retrieve it.
Which Windows operating system are you running?
Is the printer connected via USB, ethernet or wireless?
Is the power to the printer connected directly into a wall outlet or a surge protector?

Label Printing with Deskjet D1660

Having problem printing full page Avery L7160 labels. Have Deskjet D1660.
Prints first three labels on top of page then stops printing with page stuck in printer.
Will print full page if load with just paper.
Have tried to contact HP help desk no luck.

I see you're looking into print cartridge options. I would like to help!
You can utilize whats called Single Cartridge Mode.
I would recommend checking out page 30 of the HP Deskjet 3050A J611 series User Manual.

Hp deskjet D1660 and deskjet D2660

hello all, im planning to buy a new hp printer, my selection were hp deskjet D1660 and hp deskjet D2660 because of their price and design and their ink is affordable, can someone tell me the difference of this two printer because this two printer has almost same specs as what i have read, the difference all i see is that D2660 has a low-ink indicator, other than that can someone tell me the difference between those two printers except on its physycal design?

Looks like the D2660 is a better printer when you compare the specs, but the D1660 has a higher rating from customers.

Setting up Hp deskjet 2540 to iPhone

I am trying to set up my Deskjet 2540 to my iPhone so that I can print documents I have on my phone. I know my printer is not available for eprint, however it is useable for airprint with iPhone. I am trying to set it up, so i went to my Wi-Fi connection on my phone and I found my printer, but it is asking for the password. How do I find the password to my printer? I have never set a password because I have never used this printer before. Please Help! Thanks!

Why my deskjet d1660 not installing messages keep popping up saying it has stopped working

I have a Aspireone 722 and a HP Deskjet D1660 printer, I'm able to download the driver but unable to install it after it Extracts it dose nothing and then in my windows messages center there is a message stating that the installation has stoped working. Help please! :-(

Issue when using HP deskjet D1660 shared by printer server

Hi,
I'm trying to use HP D1660 through ReadyNAS's (network storage) printer server feature.
I connected D1660 and ReadyNAS through USB link. Using system preference-printer&fax, my mac perfectly sees exact printer name broadcasted through bonjour and I assigned snow leopard built-in driver for "HP deskjet D1600 series".
But it turns out not to be working.
Interesting thing is, it perfectly works when I try to print on my Windows 7 PC with exactly same configuration (readnas-d1660 shared on network)
Am I missing something?
I already tried every single protocols for network printers (IPP, LPD, HP jetdirect...).
I'm stuck...

How to set up time capsule with BT home hub 4.0 & Openreach

Idiots guide needed.
My TimeCapsule (year old model) had been running well from my BT Openreach box (without using the Home Hub 4.0) but recently had issues with connection dropping - BT said they've sorted out their end and can't see any remaining issues and can't offer me any more support if I'm not using the Home Hub 4.0
I reset the TC to run straight from the Openreach Box still have issues with wi-fi dropping in and out (both on ethernet and wi-fi).
Can I:....
1) set up Time Capsule running from BT Home Hub 4.0 which itself runs from BT Openreach white box (thus continuing to get support from BT)
or should i go back to
2) Time Capsule running straight from BT Openreach Box
Can some one post an idiots guide to either option?

Macbook air running Yosemite (mid 2011 model)
Apple TV
Airportexpress
Time Capsule
2 x iphone 4s
Kids PC
Ethernet and wifi for above - I generally run everything hard wired via ethernet.

The easiest and sure way is to use bridge on the TC as the method of connection. The TC then becomes a device in your network and gets its IP from the main router that I presume BT supply.
Method is,
1. Plug the TC WAN port into the BT supplied modem by ethernet.
2. Plug the computer you are using for the setup into the TC by ethernet.
3. Run the airport utility .. go to internet tab on the top menu..
In the bottom option, Connection Sharing choose off (bridged mode)
4. Go to the wireless page and setup wireless connection as you like it.. using whichever band you want. And make sure security is set to the highest setting, wpa2 personal. Put in a decent wireless passkey.
5. Press the update and fix whatever else the TC will show as needing fixing.. usually security stuff.
6. You can then disconnect the ethernet and connect by wireless if you want. Any port on the TC will now be a LAN port, including WAN.
This is assuming BT supply a wireless router with built in vdsl/other type of modem. If so you normally will not be able to bridge the modem, unless BT are using pppoe authentication which they haven't in the past.
If you really need to use the TC as a router then you will need to work out an alternative method. You can double NAT by placing the TC in the DMZ of the BT router if that is an option. It is not without issues in general.

How do I set a guest password on my media hub?

Page 43 of the NMH405 media hub manual indicates that you can set a guest password on users. It is supposed to be under settings\system and although I see all the other settings under system, that one isn’t there. Maybe they cut the feature at the last minute. I'm running 3.18.15 of the firmware.
My ultimate goal is to have one account that I can use to write new content to the server and one that is read only for my family. I'm worried right now that they will delete the content (which they have done).
Any advice or workarounds to achieve this would be appreciated.

Guest access can only be used if you'll be accessing the media hub remotely. Network Media Hub also lacks multiple user access.

Am having problems setting up the Deskjet J6450 wirelessly.

I am trying to diagnose a problem with the Deskjet J6450 printer to print wirelessly.
This printer worked fine for a couple of years. I have since purchased two Dell latitude Laptops (32 bit machines) that use Windows 7. The wireless printing was spotty at best and stopped working all together after a few months.
The drivers were installed and there was connection to the printer. However I had duplicate device icons on Printers and Devices and defaulted to the one that worked and deleted the other. This worked for a couple of months, until one printer job of 6 or more pages stalled and would not work after that.
I have purged the printer jobs, and also removed the device from the laptops. (I have not done anything to the printer itself).
I have since reinstalled the drivers for this printer and in setting up wirelessly, there claims to be a connection error.
I am remote supporting someone on this so I do not have access to the printer.
The users have at netgear WGR614v8 router.
One laptop worked for a month longer than the other, so I figured the problem is probably laptop specific. Now both laptops are having issues.
A) Does anyone have some info if the J6450 has problems with Windows 7, would there need to be a firmware update on the printer?
B) Can anyone identify this issue?
