Setting up iTunes Store Account for Grenada

Hi,
Has anyone been able to set up an itunes store account using a debit/credit card with a Grenada billing address?
I am trying to set up an Ipad from Grenada and Itunes is saying the form is not complete even when every field in completed.
Looks like Apple's billing address completion form is not compatible with billing addresses from Grenada because it's looking for a postal code and the form does not have one.
Any ideas or workarounds?

Hi...
Not sure if this applies in your case, but your credit or debit card credentials must be associated with the same country where you reside.
"Although you can browse the iTunes Store in any country without being signed in, you can only purchase content from the iTunes Store for your own country. This is enforced via the billing address associated with your credit card or other payment method that you use with the iTunes Store, rather than your actual geographic location."

  • I want to create a Paid Books Account however, I already have a iTunes store account for creating Apps with complete contracts, tax,

I have created some books using the iBook author and in order to distribute content on the iBookstore I have been told electronically that I need a new Apple ID and password that is different to iTunes store account which I have already activated and completed contracts, tax information and bank information valid until 2013?
I want to create a Paid Books Account using the same email address, tax information and bank information. This has been most frustrating, as I cannot get passed the sign in section and there is no contact person I can speak to. I was of the understanding the iTunes connect account and the Developer programs which I paid good money for is all what I needed to be paid for selling iBooks on the iBookstore???
I only have one email address and wish to also use it for the Paid Books Account. I have books ready to be exported and published.
I am also having trouble locating and downloading iTunes Producer. I understand I need to have the Paid Books Account active to access the iTunes Producer program. Please help.

Did you use an existing Apple ID or create a new one just for paid books sales/distribution?

  • Can I still use/sync/update my purchased apps if I change the country of my iTunes Store account for good? (PH-US)

I'm planning to change the country of my iTunes Store account from the Philippine Store to the US. If I do, is it still possible for me to sync and update my apps purchased from the PH iTunes Store? And will I still be able to purchase in-app purchases?
    Thanks!

You can't change countries if you have a credit on your account - if you can't spend it then you can try contacting iTunes Support and ask them if they can remove the balance so that you can do so : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption

  • ITunes Store account for two different countries

    Greetings to all,
Until now my my Apple Id is used to purchase items on the Swiss iTune store. Presently I would like to have the following setup:
One Apple Id to use with the Swiss iTune Store when I reside in Switzerland (this i have) with swiss credit card
One Apple Id to use with the French Store when I reside in France (need to create) with french credit card. I need some bank apps from my french bank.
How can I create such a setup ? Those two accounts will be used on the same Mac, iPhone, iPad
    Thanks for your help.

You can create a French iTunes account, and use it whilst you are in France : Set up an Apple ID in iTunes - Apple Support
Or without giving credit card details : Create an iTunes Store, App Store, or iBooks Store account without a credit card or other payment method - Apple Support
Each account has to have a unique primary email address.
You can log out of an account via the Store > Sign Out menu option on your computer's iTunes, that will then change to Store > Sign In so that you can login with a different account. On an iOS device tap on the id in Settings > iTunes & App Store to log out of an account. If you use iTunes Match, automatic downloads or redownload an account's past purchases then you might tie that computer/device to that account for 90 days : Manage your associated devices in iTunes - Apple Support - so if possible try to avoid having to redownload things, take a backup copy on your computer's iTunes so that you can resync them to a device instead.

  • How to make an iTunes store account for my child to use in the UK without a credit card

I want to give my child an iTunes store/Mac App Store account here in the United Kingdom but cannot proceed without entering a credit card section that asks for details. There was not an option for "NONE" in that screen. My child has a gift card, and she wants to use it, of course, and I will allow purchases to be made in this way.
I was following the instructions in a web browser screen (create an account on a computer http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2534) and I could not find that free app that I had to download from the iTunes App section. When following these instructions, they stated to "To find a free application, navigate to the Top Charts column on the right side of the App Store window. Scroll down until you see the list of Free Apps. Select any application by clicking on it. Then, click Free App underneath the application icon. " (Step3).
The app is like a blue play button with a black triangle in it. I could not find this app. The instuction in Step 3 did state it was important, but I just could not find the app. The reason that I could not find it was there was no "Top Charts" column to be found. So I was unable to complete Step 3.
Being unable to complete Step 3 properly, I had to try another plan. So I tried to create an Apple ID on my own steam, by signing out of my own Apple ID and to create another one.
I continued to follow the instructions without problems, until I reached Step 11. Then, there was no option for "NONE" as in payment type. I could not think of an alternative, but to abort that screen and click CANCEL.
Can anybody help me in this ? Either how to get hold of that app from the iTunes Store App section. Or an alternative way to create a new Apple ID with an option to make purchases with just the redeeming of gift cards for the iTunes Store, so that my child can sign in by herself without me having to be there.
I have iTunes 10, and Mountain Lion on the Mac.
    Regards from John5801

Cocerning the free app (blue play button with (black) triangle): Did you mean 'remote'?

Furthermore: I use clickandbuy for the iTunes store so that I don't need a credit card.
But since i'm in Germany, I'm not sure what to do in the country you are in.

  • Itunes store account for an iphone my friend created an account also in the same computer for an ipod and now it the ipod keeps getting all my personal data from my iphone how can i that  both devices sync in the pc

hi , can any one help me with a problem ,,, i own an iphone 4 and creates my account in itunes months later my friend bought an ipod and created an account also but created in my pc and  now both get sync in the same pc and all my personal data from the iphone 4 keeps getting copy and the ipod gets it and have acces to my personal data and apps gets my mail etc , can any one help me with this issue?
    thnk you

Sorry to hear of your problem, but any hardware in a computer can fail - that includes the hard drive, the logic board, etc, etc. Fortunately, it usually doesn't happen that soon; however, I've read of hard drives failing within 6 months.
So, since you did not purchase the extended Applecare Protection Plan (3 years coverage), you will need to make a decision to repair or sell it as is. I would always purchase 3 year coverage for an all in one or a laptop because repairs are expensive and at least I'd be covered for 3 years.
We can't speculate on whether there should be a recall or not; these forums are for user to user assistance with technical problems. In your case, there is nothing we can help with since you've already gotten a diagnosis.

  • HT4137 I have two iPad's that use the same iTunes/store account. I want the two devices to play games with with other, but it recognizes them as the same. I have set up two different iCloud accounts, but still not recognizing the users as different. What

Hello, I have no idea if my question went out, so I'll post it again. I have two iPads (one 3rd gen and one 4th) that use the same iTunes/store account. I want the two devices to game with each other, but the apps recognize them as the same. I have created two different iCloud accounts in an attempt to differentiate between the two, but no luck. How can I continue to use the same iTunes/store account for music and movies, but also have the two devices recognize each other for games?

You can share your iTunes ID and still have separate iCloud accounts with separate IDs, they don't have to be the same.  If you kids don't already have an iCloud account, have them set up separate accounts on their devices using separate IDs.  If they are already sharing your account, migrate their devices to separate accounts.  To do this, start by saving any photo stream photos they wish to keep to ther camera roll (unless already there) by opening your my photo stream album, tapping Select, tap the photos, tap the share icon (box with upward pointing arrow), then tap Save to Camera Roll.  If they are syncing notes with iCloud, you'll need to open each of your notes and email them to them so you can later copy and paste the text into new notes created in their new account.  Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account (which only deletes it from thier device and won't effect your device), choose Keep on My iDevice and provide the password to turn off Find My iPhone (if using iOS 7).  Then sign back in with a different Apple ID to create their new account and choose Merge to upload the data.  Once everyone is on a separate account you can go to icloud.com from your computer, sign into each account separately and delete your data from their account.

  • Can multiple iTunes Store accounts be linked to one iTunes Library

Hi there! I'm having trouble getting a clear answer to this question. If I'm being confusing, forgive me. We are a family of three with two iPod Touches and one older iPod. We recently purchased a new iMac and I migrated our common iTunes Library to the Mac. We won't be using to PC anymore. There are three separate accounts on the Mac but all of them point to the same iTunes Library.
Up until now, we have been using my Apple ID/iTunes Store account for all purchases. I would like to set up a separate iTunes store account for my daughter so she can use all the gift cards she gets to make her own purchases. *If I give her a separate iTunes Store account, can whatever she purchases go into our common library?* I don't want to her to lose access to all the apps and music we have already accumulated.
If both accounts can download content to the same library, can I expect any problems when I sync the different iPods? All of them are set up to sync manually so that we can choose which music playlists, movies and apps go to which device. Will my daughter have to sync her iPod twice -- logging each iTunes store account once -- to get all her content? Are there problems with updating apps?
Sorry this is so long! I keep getting the same answer from an Apple tech via e-mail but it doesn't address the exact points of my concerns! Thanks for any help you can provide.

We have several macs, several ipods, a couple of iphones, several itunes store accounts. So far no problem. You might have to share passwords if you want to share content. I think iStore accounts can only be used on up to 5 computers. We have 7, so have to be a little careful about that. I don't think there is a limit on how many iDevices can be used with one account. I also don't think there is a limit on how many accounts can be used on a single computer (might be wrong about that). You have to be logged into the iStore to download content, and your computer has to be registered with the account to use the content, but once it is on, and registered, syncing to an iPod is not a problem (you do not have to login in again for each account the content was purchased from). I'm just glad I only have two kids, and one wife - things could get trickier in a big family with . . .

  • Inaccessible iTunes Store account.

For some reason, I am no longer to access my iTunes Store account for several weeks now. I keep receiving the following message after attempting to sign in: "We could not complete your iTunes Store request. An unknown error occurred (-50). There was an error in the iTunes Store. Please try again later." Does anyone know how I can resolve this issue?

Credit cards or other information are required to enforce the mandate by the content owners that you live in the country of the iTMS that you're trying to use. This is true even for free tracks and videos, and though it probably isn't necessary for album covers, it would not be worth the effort it would take to set up a separate method for just getting album covers without needing an account (not when there are many other ways of getting cover art).
What parent in their right mind is going to give their credit card information to a teenage kid so that their little 'Johny' or 'Jane' can rack up the credit card with music from iTunes Store.
Few would. That's why the iTunes Music Store also allows you to set up an account with a iTunes Music Card, a gift certificate, or an allowance. A parent can give any or all of those to "little Johny or Jane" and have "little Johny or Jan" set up an account that way.
Please, next time learn a bit more before you post a rant. You may find, as in this case, that your ire is misplaced or unnecessary.

  • HT5646 should I set up a different account for each child?  if so, how do I manage itunes money between two kids?

should I set up a different apple account for each child?  if so, how do I manage itunes money between two kids?

    Hello staatsfamily,
Having a separate Apple ID for each child will allow each child to keep their purchases and iCloud information separate.  It will also allow you to provide an iTunes Store Allowance for each child:
With iTunes Allowance, you can send a monthly iTunes Store credit to anyone with an iTunes Store account. It's a great way for parents to manage their children's spending on the iTunes Store, App Store, and iBooks Store.
Once you have created an Apple ID for each child, you can provide an iTunes Store allowance to each Apple ID. The following article will guide you in how to set this up:

  • I just got my daughter a new macbook pro. She currently shares my wires apple id for iTunes on her iTouch. I need to set up an email account for her. Is there any way to set up a new iCloud email account but still use my wires apple id for iTunes?

I just got my daughter a new macbook pro. She currently shares my wifes apple id for iTunes on her iTouch. I need to set up an email account for her. Is there any way to set up a new iCloud email account but still use my wifes apple id for iTunes?

No it's not stealing. They have an allowance that you can share with so many computers/devices. You'll have to authorize her computer to play/use anything bought on your acct. You can do this under the Store menu at top when iTunes is open on her computer.
As far as getting it all on her computer....I think but I am not sure (because I don't use the feature) but I think if you turn on Home Sharing in iTunes it may copy the music to her computer. I don't know maybe it just streams it. If nothing else you can sign into your acct on her computer and download it all to her computer from the cloud. Not sure exactly how to go about that, I haven't had to do that yet. I wonder if once you authorize her computer and then set it up for automatic downloads (under Edit>Preferences>Store) if everything would download. Sorry I'm not much help on that.

    Hi Michael,
Yes it is now resolved but not after I send iTunes a request for help and explaining the problem.  They send a first reply explaining how I needed to verify my account and gave me the link to do that.  You and I know that this did not help, so I replied telling them that this was not working and iTunes did the reset for me.
You may want to open a help ticket with iTunes help.  That is the only way it works.

  • ITunes Match family account and separate store accounts for kids

    Hi there,
I've googled a lot and also read through this support forum, but I'm still not sure whether I can use iTunes Match with my setup or not. My setup is like this:
    1) I do have one iTunes account for most of my music ans app puchases
    2) My kids are using my iTunes account but they also have their own accounts for their purchases.
    3) All those accounts are synced with one iTunes instance on a Mac (thus, if kid A purchases a song kid B is also able to sync the song to its iPod)
All devices are authorized for all accounts, but I want to keep separate accounts for my kids, so I can control their iTunes budget (they only have gift cards, no credit card is associated with their account)
So, as far as I've understood if I enable iTunes Match on my Mac, _all_ songs will be transferred to iCloud - no matter if I have purchased them or my kids. Fine for my iPhone, since the iTunes Match account and my iTunes Store account will be the same and I'm authorized for my kids songs.
But what do I have to expect on my kids iPods?
    - Do I have a chance to use the family account for iTunes Match and the kids account for puchases?
    - If so, what happens if a song is bought on the iPod with the kids account - does it get matched on iTunes Match with the family account?
    - What about apps? I guess this no subject here, since I'm able to specify a different apps store account anyway - right?
    Thanks in advance,
    Ralph

You're not going to be able to keep the same setup if you want to use iTunes Match across all your iDevices. iTunes Match is associated with one iTunes Store account ID, and since iDevices can only be signed into one iTunes store account ID at a time (and can only switch iDs every 90 days), to be able to use iTM all iDevices will have to be signed into the same iTunes Store account ID that was originally used to purchase iTM. There's really no way around this.
