I looked at the Frontier site, the only instructions they offer online is for exchange mail. You will need to call or choose the online chat for Frontier to get the settings.

i can`t set up personal e-mail on my 8520,when i watched the video on the blackberry site,it showed an icon to set up personal e-mail, on my bb the only option i have is to setup a work e-mail on bes, help please
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

First -- this workaround will never resolve what your original problem statement was...this will not enable personal email.
Second...don't launch the browser that RIM provides. When you install Opera, you should have a separate icon on your BB that is Opera...launch that.

  • Can I set up personal folders in Mail?

Can I set up personal folders in mail like I do in yahoo mail or outlook? I have multiple clients at a time and would like to set up folders for each one. I find it irritating to scroll through all the emails looking for what I need.
    Thanks in advance.

I have business and personal e-mail accounts with different contacts. Can I have more than one address book on my iPhone?

Set up an additional user account and use one for work and one for personal stuff - each will have a separate address book. Turn on fast user switching for easy switching between the two.

The only ways I know of for email to get sent to an account are:
    1. It was addressed to that account. Someone used that email address to send you the email.
    2. It was forwarded to that account by the account to which it had been addressed. I am not aware of Mail having this feature but it is often a feature provided by your ISP that you can turn on by logging into your account via the Internet and setting it up.  I assume you have not done this, though.
With several email addresses in the same Mail client, you have to be careful which one you are sending from. If you send from the wrong address, any replies will come back to that same address. I make this mistake all too often.

  • Help setting on Yahoo! mail account.

When I go to make a new acount in Mail it asks me for
Account Type: (.Mac, POP, IMAP, EXCHANGE)
    Account Discription:
    Full Name:
    Username:
    Password:
I have a Yahoo! Mail account and I'm quite sure that it's a POP server. So when I choose the POP server it asks for my Account Discription which is default "POP ACCOUNT" and than my namw and e-mail address...So i enter my E-mail address and hit continue.
The next step is to set up your Incoming Mail Server. This is where I get stuck. I don't know what server yahoo works off of...is it just "mail.yahoo.com" i'm not sure! but when I do enter "mail.yahoo.com" and than my password it says..
"The POP server “mail.yahoo.com” is not responding. Check your network connection and that you entered the correct information in the “Incoming Mail Server” field. If it still doesn’t respond, the server might be temporarily unavailable.
If you continue, you may not be able to receive any email."
    Any imput would be appreciated!

    There are three ownership models:
        Personal
        Institution
        Layered. combines personal & institution.
Watch this apple video on layered ownership.  It education based, but that's OK.

The divide link didn't work for me.
    http://www.divide.com/
The divide site is a "mess".  How about a one paragraph description on the home page of what divide does?
Divide seems to be an all in one application.  You do everything inside divide.  It has all the corporate security you will need.
in the middle of the faq page.
Q: What office applications does Divide provide?
Divide provides you with Mail, Calendar, Tasks, Contacts, Browser, Messenger, Dialer, Timecard, and Divide Files. Each of these applications provides an enhanced feature set designed for the corporate employee.

  • How do I set up a new mail account on my iMac?

    Hello everyone,
I think I used to have a Mail account however I could not remember the password when I tried to turn it on. I decided to delete the account completely and to start again. How do I set up a new mail account with a new email address and a new password??
I can see how you create a new mail account but it then asks for an email and password so that doesn't help. I really didn't think it would be a hassle!
    Thanks,
    W

You first need to set up a new User Name and Password with your Internet Service Provider (ISP); that is, whoever provides you with Internet access, such as Comcast, AT&T, etc in the US.  Alternately you can go on the Internet and set up a new email Account with a new User Name and Password with a public company such as Google's "Gmail" or Microsoft's "Hotmail".  Once you have set up your new Account with them, THEN you enter that information into Apple's "Mail" for it to send and receive emails for your new outside Account.
    Hope this helps

  • Setting up multiple e-mail accounts

I have iBook G4 using OS X. I've had it for over a year, but I've never set up multiple e-mail accounts, but now my kids are asking for their own e-mail addresses. There must be directions on how to do this somewhere, but I can't seem to find it. Any help in steering me in the right directions would be greatly appreciated.
    Karen

    Hello Karen.
You can create multiple email accounts with Mail with or without the same email account provider.
With the same provider is possible only if each account has its own user name.
You can create/access multiple email accounts that share the same incoming mail server and the same password as long as each account has its own user name.
An account's user name is usually the portion of the email address in front of the @ sign only but with some providers it is the entire email address.
Multiple email addresses with the same provider that share the same user name, incoming mail server and password as a primary email account are what is called an alias or aliases.
An alias email address to a primary account/address can be accessed with Mail under the primary account but not as a separate account with Mail.
If I haven't completely confused you, let me know.
I agree with Matt and strongly suggest/recommend that you don't allow your kids (regardless their age) or anyone else regular access to your Mac under your computer login admin account.
    Check this link.

  • I set up my mac mail account on the computer using all the same info as the phone but I still can't get mac mail on the computer.

Ever since icloud came out my desktop has been a traffic jam of pop ups. Apple Passwords are recognized in one app but rejected in another. I'm never able to set up my .mac mail it just won't receive.
The new iphoto is a complicated mess. Once you email photos to a friend you are stuck in the mail portion and have to close out to get out.

If your carrier supports the personal hotspot on the iPad (and some carriers only support it on the iPhone) then it should appear in Settings > General > Cellular Data > Personal Hotspot - if it doesn't appear then contact your carrier in case they don't support it or it might be an extra fee/subscription with them
