Hello,
As you are in SP20 you should check the components version according to SAP note 1274287.
Have you checked that all the components are meeting the requirements(including JAVA components)?
About your doubt #3, please check whether you have configured the system according to the SAP Solution Manager Landscape Setup Guide:
service.sap.com/diagnostics
-> Media Library
-> SAP Solution Manager Landscape Setup Guide
or check SAP note 987835.
As you say that you have performed the Initial and Basic configurations I assume you have implemented the solution manager basic functions note (1334252).
Afterwards you can check the Workload analysis and check if data is shown there. For further troubleshooting you can use the "Troubleshooting Guide" attached to note 1332428.

  • Portal for CRM 7.0

    hello Gurus
In CRM 4.0 there was PCUI which is used for the Portal and the system use to pick the data from there , where as if we come to CRM 7.0 from where the portal will get the data from Back end....
    regards
    Sreeram

In CRM 4.0, the PCUI applications were launched using portal and the applications were available as Business Package in the SAP Portal. The business package predefined all the roles and applications in a proper way and was easy to work based on user roles. Even so, the applications were actually BSP applications getting the data from the CRM system (backend). In the Portal, in these business packages, the CRM system was defined in the System data.
With CRM 7.0, the PCUI applications are no longer available and the new Web UI is actually web based and the application is role based.  The portal is technically not required. But still the CRM 7.0 can be integrated with SAP portal if one really wants so. Here too, the data comes from the CRM system (backend) even if it is run as a business package through the portal. You have to complete the configuration in IMG under UI Framework->Portal Integration->Overview

  • Standard Interface for CRM System

: What standard interface does the CRM system expose to XI? For e.g. Standard IDocs or BAPI? If yes give details about the same. If NO standard IDocs / BAPI are available then do we need to write one?

    Gareth,
CRM has an external interface adapter (XIF) that can send all CRM DATA to external systems. You only need to setup an RFC-destination, a XIF-site (much like the R/3 site),  subscribe to the data that you want and indicate the interface format. You can choose between Idocs and XML.
The XML will be send directly to the XI. If you choose idocs, you'll have to setup an outbound idoc profile and an outbound port to interface the idocs to the XI system.
Example: suppose that you subscribe business partners to the XI-site in an XML format, then CRM will send all business partner changes to the IP address of the XI.
    Grtz,
    Michael.

  • Issues with setting appropriate ownership for file system

    Hi All,
We are using ACFS File system. For some of the mount point we have set to change ownership according to requirement in rc.local file So that all permissions remain intact when the server restarts. But the permissions are not taking into account. Only after the rc.local is executed ASM disks are mounted I guess. Is there any where else can we write scripts to change ownership of mount points for ACFS so that when the disks are mounted proper Unix permissions are setup.
    Thanks & Regards,

To configure raw devices if you are using Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4.0:
To confirm that raw devices are enabled, enter the following command:
    # chkconfig --list
Scan the output for raw devices. If you do not find raw devices, then use the following command to enable the raw device service:
    # chkconfig --level 345 rawdevices on
After you confirm that the raw devices service is running, you should change the default ownership of raw devices. When you restart a Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4.0 system, ownership and permissions on raw devices revert by default to the root user. If you are using raw devices with this operating system for your Oracle Clusterware files, then you need to override this default.
To ensure correct ownership of these devices when the operating system is restarted, create a new file in the /etc/udev/permissions.d directory, called oracle.permissions, and enter the raw device permissions information. Using the example device names discussed in step 5 of the previous section, the following is an example of the contents of /etc/udev/permissions.d/oracle.permissions:
    # OCR
    raw/raw[12]:root:oinstall:0640
    # Voting Disks
    raw/raw[3-5]:oracle:oinstall:0640
    # ASM
    raw/raw[67]:oracle:dba:0660
After creating the oracle.permissions file, the permissions on the raw devices are set automatically the next time the system is restarted. To set permissions to take effect immediately, without restarting the system, use the chown and chmod commands:
    chown root:oinstall /dev/raw/raw[12]
    chmod 640 /dev/raw/raw[12]
    chown oracle:oinstall /dev/raw/raw[3-5]
    chmod 640 /dev/raw/raw[3-5]
    chown oracle:dba /dev/raw/raw[67]
    chmod 660 /dev/raw/raw[67]

    hi
to synchronise all the clients in the CRM,u need to structure ur transport request, that is whenever a request has been made, the same has been transported to all the clients or not
Go to T-Code -SE09 and copy all released transport request from each client from Sandbox,Development,Quality,Production and match all request manually.
this is just a way other may be to see manually all the settings in all the clients

    Thanks and Regards

    Hi,
for changing - did you try the "Content Maintenance" on SLD Homepage? It is Subset: Landscape Description and I guess Class "BC Application Server"
For adding a second application server - go to the technical system, scroll down and press "Add" secondary application server.
    Good luck, Holger

  • Is it possible to have different CHARM process for R/3 and CRM system

    Hi all,
I am currentlu workin on CHARM implementation and we have successfully gone live for R/3 System now we need to implement CHARM for CRM system. The Customer is asking to define a new Change request and new Urgent correction for CRM system as there is different approval procedure for CRM when compared to R/3 Now i want to know whether we can have a different CHARM process for CRM system alone, kindly give ur valuable inputs as it is very urgent.
    Thanks in advance
    Raju

Once the pricing procedure ia assigned to sales order, it is automatically copied into Invoice through Copy controls. You never assign pricing procedure to billing document. it is automatically copied.

  • Transction ivew for crm

    Hi Experts,
I have to create one transaction iview in portal for crm.
Please give me some details about the steps which i should complete before creating this ivew.
What is the role of SSO in this and what type of system should create for this.
Portal user and crm user r having different userids. So can i use SSO with logon tickets.
Plz give me some details with steps..
    Thanks in advance,
    John

    Hi John,
First of all you should get the CRM system integrated with your portal system so that when you try to run your transaction iview pointing to the back-end CRM system it is able to run the required transaction in the system & execute it properly.
You can use SSO while integrating the CRM system with portals. If the user ids are different in the portal and crm system, just try to use user mapping so that when the portal user tries to logon to the crm system in the back-end it finds a mapped id in there and executes the transaction as required.
While creating the CRM system in the portal landscape you can use SAP CRM system while creating it as the system type. You will also be required to configure the WAS, ITS, connectors, user management and few others.
And creating the transaction iview is as similar as any other iview. Just mention the transaction code which you want to run and refer to the correct crm system in system parameter of the iview.
Award points if found helpful.Hope it helps.
    Regards,
    Gourav.

  • Query on SoD matrix for CRM-Webshop applications - RAR 5.3

    Hi,
We are implementing RAR 5.3 for CRM system. We observed that GRC has standard SoD matrix for CRM application. But there is no SOD matrix available for the Webshop (B2B/B2C/BOB) where access will be provided to the external users
We are of the opinion that there will be no SoD conflicts for the Roles/Users created for the webshop applications as the webshops are used by the external users i.e. customers.
Is there any standard SoD matrix available for the authorization objects of the webshop application with SAP? Has anybody configured SoD rules for the webshop application roles? If yes, please provide us the link of the information where we will get this rule matrix
    Thanks in advance.
    Srihari.K

    Hi Sri,
The standard rule for CRM is available in the marketplace.
But I don't think SAP has created standard rule for webshop.
    Thanks,
    Sudip.

  • MAI for managed systems residing in separate network

    Hello!
We are considering to implement the new Monitoring and Alerting Infrastructure (MAI) with Diagnostics Agents for our SAP systems.
The most of our SAP managed systems reside in separate network (differ from SOLMAN network).
In order to retrieve CCMS-data from these systems we must use RFC connections within SAP router string.
Has someone already successfully set up MAI for managed systems that reside in separate network?
Of great interest are the information about
    1) Integration of these systems into DBACOCKPIT of SOLMAN
    2) Installation of Diagnostic Agent on remote host
    Many thanks for your information.

    Hello SAP-SDN,
    as for your initial question:
Has someone already successfully set up MAI for managed systems that reside in separate network?
Of great interest are the information about
    1) Integration of these systems into DBACOCKPIT of SOLMAN
    2) Installation of Diagnostic Agent on remote host
1.- actually on process, but still don0t found any problem to do on remote network trought sapruter.
2.- actually working and running, the unique limitation is the connection between willy hostagent and wily EM.
    as for your next question:
1a) database related data in your Alerting (e.g. tablespaces)
1b) database related data in your IT Performance Reporting/Interactive Reporting (e.g. growth of database)
1c) DBACOCKPIT connection for the remote SAP system
1a) for ewa ABAP you can get that information from a remote netwaork managed system without any problem
1b) for ewa ABAP you can get that information from a remote netwaork managed system without any problem
1c) still on process, but i think that can be possible as well is possible to connect the remote SMD diagnostic agent trought one or more saprouters.

  • Portal Runtime Error when previewing iViews from BP for CRM 4.0 (60.2)

    Hello,
We have imported Business Package for CRM 4.0 (60.2) into EP 6.0 (Version: 6.0.19.0.0) according to the installation guide(InstGuide_EN_CRM40_502.pdf). We have also defined SAP_CRM and SAP_R3 Systems in  Portal System Landscape Editor. And we have also set the permissions for the user with which we are logged in on the "Portal Content->Migrated Content->EP 5.0" folder with "Read" permission and checked the "End User" option.

Though i am still able to login with any of my old accounts, but not with the newly created ones. I thought this might have been because of the new roles that i assigned, but i see the above error message even when i haven't assigned any role. How do i get rid of this one now?
    Thanks and Regards,

  • Business Content for Bill Up transaction in CRM system

    To all Experts,
I'm currently working on a project that requires Bill Up transactional data ( Source Table: CMSD_BU ) to flow from CRM to BW system. I'm looking for Business Content that can fulfill this requirement. However, till to date, I couldn't find any information of such Business Content. I'm not sure if such BC exist. Can anyone help if you have experience implement this data flow?
When searching for the DataSource / Extractor, I found BW Extract Structure CMST_BU_BW and CMST_BU_BW_C in the CRM system. But couldn't find any DataSource for both extract structure. Not sure if we need to install any support pack in order make the BC available in the system. Please help if you have any idea.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Hui Pin

    Hi Shalini,
The document is replicated from ECC to CRM without any errors.
For this document I just want to create follow up transaction in CRM.(I dont want to change the document in CRM)
The follow up transaction is in display mode. this is my problem.
    Hi Rekha:
I have done following setting in CRM to create follow up transaction in CRM for the document which is replicated from ECC to CRM.
    1)     Defined the Copying Control for Transaction type
    2)     Defined Copying Control for Item categories
    3)     Defined Item category determination when copying
    Thanks in advance,
    Regards,
    -Rahul.
