Setting up repositories error: BODI-310190

Hi!
Trying to set up a development server for data integrator, preferably with separate repositories per user and one central repository.
I have done as the DI Core Tutorial suggests, but I can not associate the job server with the central repository, or chose central repository through the Data Integrator Designer, the option is "dimmed" - can not be opened.
Trying to associate via Job Server Properties I get this error:
BODI-310190: Central repository is not allowed to associate with any Job Server
Is this a license issue, or am I completely off?

If u have a common Error JSP named as ErrorPage.jsp
You need to have the following piece of code in the JSP as :
<%@ page isErrorPage ="true"%>
This makes it as the Common Error Page for the Application. Now all you need to do is from other JSP's throw the Exception to teh container. The container will redirect to this Page and process accordingly.

Oradism not set up correctly error in the alert log in 9.2.0.4

Hello,
I have installed 9.2.0.4 patch on top of 9.2.0.1 database.
The O/S is Solaris 5.9
The database is set to work with:
workarea_size_policy=AUTO.
The database is not working properly compared to other machines we have.
After looking in the alert log I found the following error popping after restart:
WARNING: -------------------------------
WARNING: oradism not set up correctly.
Dynamic ISM can not be locked. Please
setup oradism, or unset sga_max_size.
[diagnostic 0, 16, 5001]
I found the following two notes on the subject, contradicting each other and also contradicting the status of the machine:

Telling me not to do the below procedure on 9.2.0.4, though I get the same error and miss the required etc entries specified.

Telling me to copy oradism.sav to oradism and I already have those.

Hi Tal,
Just looked at the notes you referred to. The first doesn't apply to 9.2.0.4. as you state. The other note is for 9.2.0.4e (note the "e", stands for embedded). This "e" release is not what you have, so that note doesn't apply either.
The AR that I referred to is for 10g, but the 9iR2 info is the same. You need to make sure that $ORACLE_HOME/bin/oradism is owned by root.

OSB Customization files 2 set Retry Application Errors and Timeout props

I know it's possible to set Endpoint URI, Retry Count and Retry Iteration Interval properties using customization files, but what about other properties? I am particularly interested in setting Retry Application Errors and Timeout for a HTTP business services. If it's not possible to do with customization files is there another way of setting them without having to go though each service in the console?

Importing Metadata from wsdl returns errors - (BODI-1112015)

I am using DI 12.1 and am trying to create a web service data store. I tried using both the native web service datastore type and the adapter for web services. Neither worked but I seemed to get further using the adapter. When using the adapter I can see each of the operations in the service, but when I try to import the metadata for the operations I get an error BODI-1112015 with a message that the namespace is referenced without <import> declaration. The wsdl does have an import reference corresponding to the schema so I do not understand the issue. The referenced schema does import other schemas (could that cause problems?).

I will have to look at the WSDL to see why the import is failing. is this a Public WSDL ? if yes, can you give the URL
have you tried using the WSDL using some other tools like SoapUI ?

I'm currently working with Data Integrator XI and sometimes I get this error BODI 1180013 "There was a problem validating the Data Integrator License .. " and whenever it occurs it closes the application.

PE 10 "Reduce set of content- " error:

PE 10 “Reduce set of content… ” error: I downloaded both .exe and .7z files successfully after 8 hours to My Download area, launched program and the PE 10 Content all folders and files saved to desktop successfully. However, The PE 10 “reduce set of content” error still occurs.
I am assuming that PE 10 Content folder and files should be saved with the “existing Adobe PE10 files”. Can I copy and paste files to the correct location? What is the correct location? Any solution?

Now I have bigger problems. The entire PE10 program has been removed from my computer but I have the PE10 Content files. Help!

Error BODI scheduling

I have migrated our BODI XI R2 to the latest 3.1. Everything works except scheduling, the jobs just won't start. I have updated the schedules and reimported all objects in my repository. When i try to associate the job server to a server group, however, I get this error:
Job server not part of server group. Reason . The database SPChelikopter does not exist, it is a user account, so I understand SQL Server can't find it
How can I change this setting? I have the jobserver up and running to repository DI_Repo; starting the designer and connecting to the database, and all manually started jobs run without problems.

Temp folder was not set for RTFStringbuffer Error

Hi,
We are using CR XI 11.0.0.895 and CR XI JRC is been used to generate the reports in PDF and RTF format.
While generating report of more than 1000 pages in RTF format throws the below mentioned exception
temp folder was not set for RTFStringbuffer
However, Generating reports in PDF format generates the report.
Find below the environment details which would helpful for the analysis.
CR XI 11.0.0.895
IE 6.0
MS-office 2003
Windows XP SP2
Reports JRC application deployed on Weblogic 8.1.4
Please suggest us a solution for this problem.

If you run [Process Monitor|http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb896645.aspx], do you see any file access errors when the JRC tries creating a temp RTF file?
I think I've recommended this before, but have you tried the newest version of the JRC?

Character set marker unknown error while importing data in 10g from 8i

Hi All,
I am trying to import the whole database schema wise (one by one) through oracle 10g database control page (which is browser based)
But when i try to import the objects of a schema i get the error that
"IMP-00037 : Character set marker unknown "
Import terminated unsuccessfully
Would anybody please tell me about the mentioned error ???
Kindly provide the solution.
Mentioned below are the character sets available in both the version.
Character sets in oracle 8.1.7 :-
Database Character Set :: WE8ISO8859P1
National Character Set :: WE8ISO8859P1
Character sets in oracle 10.2.0.1.0 :-
Database Character Set :: WE8ISO8859P1
National Character Set :: AL16UTF16

As you have asked, i have mentioned the export command below to get the full database export file.
And I have copied this export file (dump) to another machine(Server) where i have to import that file to upgrade the database to 10g Rel 2.

In BW I have a RFC Program declared with the same name.
The telnet comunication is ok.
The program on data service server is registred at command level

Character Sets - socketchannel read error

I have made an FTPserver which i have just noticed is having trouble when the file name being requested/send has non-ASCII characters in it such as '�'.
Since i am using nio i thought it would just be an simple task of just changing the character set from "US-ASCII" to "UTF-8" or "UTF-16".
but when i changed it to UTF-8 there was no change, that is i still recieve an error:
