Settings alert badge still appearing after updating to iOS7

I updated my iPhone 4 to iOS 7 and a red badge on the settings icon appeared - looked to see if there was an update but it was already on the latest software. I have tried clearing it with all methods: soft reset, hard reset, checking for an update. No luck.
Any ideas? Thanks.

I have the same problem.
I downloaded and intslled IOS7 over the air (iPhone 4S) and after the installation, I have this annoying badge. I have scrolled through the settingss and i have restarted the Pohone. The badge ist still there.
Any ideas?

Just updated to iOS 8.1 and after syncing my iPhone and iPad there are still badges showing for the number of updates available on the AppStore icon. When I open the App Store on the device it does not show any updates available. In the past when this happened all I did was open the App Store and tap updates. A message came up telling me all apps have been updated and the badge disappeared. Now it is stuck on a number and won't change.

I had the same problem and submitted a feedback report. Until the bug is fixed I just deleted the app, then went to "Purchased" and re-downloaded the app and the badge disappears.

Why [Google mail] folder still appears after updating to Mavericks in Mail

Hello,
I have updated to Mavericks. After configuring Mail to sync with my Google account, the folder [Google Mail] is still present in Mail and the Important and Starred labes are in it. However, both subfolders, Improtant and Starred, are not syncronizing.
I have checked in Goolge and Important and Starred are set to work with IMAP. The strangest thing is that those folders should not be inside [Google Mail], but they are in my case. Does someone could help me to remove [Google Mail] folder and make Important and Starred work?

Several times I've re-entered my passwords under Preferences/Internet Accounts/iCloud and it won't save since I've installed Mavericks. Also, the iCloud icon in the left column in Preferences/Internet Accounts/iCloud is greyed out but allows me to click on it to set-up. When I click on iCloud the password is filled out but the "Enable this account" check-box is not checked. I check it, and all seems correct. The icon is no longer grey, the password is correct, the "activate this account" check-box is checked. Then, when I launch mail, notes etc. I'm still prompted to re-enter my apple ID. The log-in loop continues. For years my keychain has worked perfectly. What has changed in Mavericks?

I finally just resolved this after not being able to enable location services since upagrading to iOS 7. Posting the solution here 'cause I couldn't find it anywhere else.
I enabled Restrictions under Settings > General > Restrictions and created a passcode (I'm not sure if this was part of the solution, but it wasn't enabled for me by default.)
In Restrictions, under Privacy, Location Services was set to "Allow Changes" (This still didn't solve the issue of the greyed-out Location Services switch though - I still couldn't turn it on.)
Also in Restrictions, I also switched "Find My Friends" to "Allow Changes"
Once I did step 3, the switch under Settings > Privacy > Location Services was no longer greyed out and could be switched on.

Wireless printing - from shipping sites - not working after update to iOS7

I am no longer able to print shipping labels from PayPal or USPS after updating to iOS7. I am able to print emails, etc. from other sites online - just not shipping labels. Is anyone else having the same problem? Is there a fix?

Tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings
Then restart the device.
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red "slide to power off" slider appears, then swipe the slider to power off.
Then press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
Then try printing.

Try reset iPad
Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears
Note: Data will not be affected.

After updating to iOS7 and restoring my phone from backup, my text messages are still gone. How can I fix this? Right before I updated to iOS7 I backed up my phone. After the update was complete, my phone had none of my information on it so I restored it from back up which says "Restoring from backup will not change the firmware, but will restore pictures, contacts, calendars, text messages, etc." So I am confused as to why it isn't working. I tried twice and everything came back except text messages. This isn't the first time I've had this happen after updating my phone but I'm tired of dealing with this issue. Can anyone tell me how to get my text messages back or what I did wrong?

Re wifi:
Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at

4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are drooping internet connection)

    •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.
Some Wi-Fi losses may stem from a problematic interaction between Wi-Fi and cellular data connections. Numerous users have found that turning off Cellular Data in Settings gets their Wi-Fi working again.
You may have many apps open which can possibly cause the slowdown and possibly the loss of wifi. In iOS 4-6 double tap your Home button & at the bottom of the screen you will see the icons of all open apps. Close those you are not using by pressing on an icon until all icons wiggle - then tap the minus sign. For iOS 7 users, there’s an easy way to see which apps are open in order to close them. IPad won't turn on after update to ios7

After updating to ios7 on my iPad, it would keep resetting itself and show the apple logo until finally starting up. Over a few days this got worse and worse and eventually stopped working where I would have to hold the home and on/off buttons to reset it. I have now reached a point where it no longer starts up. Having went to an apple store they say they can't identify the issue as they can't start it up and offered me to pay £199 to have it replaced (how very nice of them). I have had online chats with an advisor and a senior advisor who have diagnosed this as a 'hardware' issue!!!
Guess what apple, no it is not, this is a result of the updgrade to ios7!!! My iPad worked perfect before and I will not be paying £199 to replace it!!!
If anybody else has had similar problems please let me know.

I noticed that one person stated enabling cookies in Safari settings solved this problem. I too had this issue for about two weeks. Once I enabled all cookies in Safari settings, the little "AGREE" button became available in the lower right hand corner when accepting the new terms and conditions.
Shutting down no app helped me. The only way was to enable cookies in Safari settings through General Settings.

Lagging after update to iOs7

After update to iOs7, I found lagging on Pages. It slow down when I type, delete character and adjust table border. And the documents I have made in iOs6 change. Page format was changed so I have to adjust the format every document. Is it need some update of Pages too? But I can't found any update on AppStore. I use version 1.7.2(753).
