Settings for Quality Certificates generation

Hello All,
I am a new entrant in the forum.  I need your help on quality certificates.
What are the settings necessary for generating Quality certificates in SAP?

Hi,
For quality Certificate
In material master QM view Should have to assgn the QM Control Key which controls the Certification and also assign the certificate Type.
Create Certificate profile (Tcode QC01),
Here For which Inspection type you want to create the certificate assign the Origin and type of inspection.
Assign the layout set (with ABAP er's help Required form to be created and assign the name here)
By default QM_QCERT_01
After creation of profile assign this profile to material/materialand customer com bi

  • What are the required settings for Quality Certificate

    Hi Team
What are the required settings for Quality Certificate for Raw material from vendor. This is my RR - Result Recording  for inspection lot.
Please sugget me T-Code to view this.
Can I see say for 6-9 months RR done insp. lot.
    Thanks

Settings for Quality Certificate for Raw material from vendor,
Activate QM Procurement key, enter qm control key with certificate and Enter certificate type in certificate field.
    There are 2 cases,
u want details of certificate send by vendor
u want to record results and see inspection lot wise results.
    case1
depending upon the certificate selected by u, system will give u warning or error msg for certificate confirmation at the time of gr. for confirmation QC51 t_code is used. here status has to be changed to 'filed and inspected' then gr will be allowed.
all these certificates can be dispalyed in QC55 T_CODE.
    CASE2
U can record results and see in inspection report tab in QA33

  • RFC Destination for Quality Certificates

We are setting up QM and one step is to save quality certificates from suppliers. The problem is we get error "OA009 Storage system not known" on trans QC51, it seems because we do not have defined the Content Repositiry on trns OAC0.
SAP has predefined values for quality certificates:
    ObjectType: BUS2117
    Doc. Type: QMICERTPDF
    Cont. Rep. ID: D3
    Link: TOA01
My problem is that when I try to create content repository D3 in trans OAC0 it has a requiered field: RFC destination, which I assume is where the data will be stored, anyone knows which one should I choose?

  • H264 - Can anyone beat these settings for quality ?

I am preparing a couple of projects for the web.
My task is to get my exported MOVs to the web guy in the best quality and then he can work with them and convert them to FLV.
I am using H264 (settings below).
Can anyone confirm that these settings are the best possible to use to get the highest quality, or suggest something else?
    File Extension: mov
    Estimated file size: unknown
    Audio Encoder
    IMA 4:1, Stereo (L R), 48.000 kHz
    Video Encoder
    Format: QT
    Width: 720
    Height: 480
Pixel aspect ratio: NTSC CCIR 601/DV
    Crop: None
    Padding: None
    Frame rate: (100% of source)
    Frame Controls On:
    Retiming: (Better) Motion Compensated
    Resize Filter: Linear Filter
    Deinterlace Filter: Better (Motion Adaptive)
    Adaptive Details: On
    Antialias: 0
    Detail Level: 0
    Field Output: Progressive
    Codec Type: H.264
    Multi-pass: On, frame reorder: On
    Pixel depth: 24
    Spatial quality: 100
    Min. Spatial quality: 25
    Key frame interval: 24
    Temporal quality: 50
    Min. temporal quality: 25

Looks pretty good to me. Have you read this article before? http://www.apple.com/quicktime/tutorials/h264.html
You know Flash Player 9 supports H.264? No need to re-encode to flv, if you can avoid it. Depends if you want to support earlier versions of Flash Player.
I would strongly recommend doing some short tests before you start encoding everything. It will save you a lot of time doing some short 10-20 second tests (just set in/out points in the Compressor Preview window). I would maybe try setting the keyframe rate to Automatic too.
I see you have frame controls activated. If you would like to save time, you could try this tip (same principle): http://discussions.apple.com/message.jspa?messageID=7309534#7309534
Web compression is all about testing to find the optimal settings for best possible quality/filesize ratio.
If you want the final result to end up as the best quality flv file, I would recommend encoding directly from your source to flv. Going through a heavily compressed long-GOP format like H.264, before encoding to an other heavily compressed format is not a good idea. You would want your video to go through as few generations as possible to maintain quality.

  • Best settings for quality/size trade-off when exporting to QT?

    Hi All,
I've been using Keynote '09 (5.3) to record narrated slide shows (slides with me narrating by voice) for my online class "lecture" podcast series for a while - now that the beloved, but quirky and unsupported, ProfCast has fallen by the wayside. This works well - as we all know - producing clear audio and visuals that upload well to YouTube, where I am now hosting the files.
The problem I'm running into now is that my lectures often last around 50 minutes, and this produces enormous file sizes (like the original Keynote file comes in around 800MB with the slideshow saved). I've been exporting to Quicktime with full size video and mixed audio set to AAC, and this produces a QT mov of around 130MB or so. Still quite large, but at least manageable for uploading, even with DSL at home.
Ideally, though, I'd have even smaller mov files, but without much loss in quality. In my earlier experimentation, I realized that it was the audio that was eating up loads of space. However, switching to half size video cuts the same file to around 80MB as well. Once I've opened the can of worms of custom audio and video settings, I feel like there are many, many possible combinations of sizes and qualities...and it's difficult to steadily compare each and every permuationg (it takes a while for each export to run!).
So, the question I have is: are any of the other AAC settings in the menu likely to make a significant dent in mov file size? Or, are these really just small differences on the margin? Even if I stay with AAC overall, would tweaking the kHz Rate make much of a difference?
Looking forward to any wisdom from experience you all might have to pass along!

I was looking for command-line PDF conversion tools and eventually found out this:
    https://www.pdf-tools.com/pdf/pdf-optimization-reduce-size-1.aspx
To me, it is way too pricey (US$ 570), but maybe it's a viable solution to you. It has  watched folder workflows, therefore it can be handy for your purposes. You can download a demo and even test it online (the resulting PDF is watermarked).
I submitted a file to their online testing page and were impressed with the results: a 1.5 Mb original PDF resulted in a 925 Kb file (while an Acrobat "optimized" file ot the same sample PDF turned out to be _bigger_ then the original). What makes it even more impressive: in the online test I deselected ALL the image downsampling settings, to force the optimized PDF to keep the original image quality and resolution. Then, in Acrobat, I exported the images from both the original PDF and the optimized one, and compare them in Photoshop. They were not identical, but the difference is pratically imperceptible. I guess that applying downsampling to the test will result in even smaller PDFs, but I didn't test this.
Anyway... I don't have any affiliation with those guys, and I don't have either the need nor the money to buy this product. I'm only sharing these thoughts because they may point you to other ways to find a solution. The above mentioned application seems to be very efficient. If you can afford it, then I think it deserves a try. If not, you can search the Web for plugins or other tools that can fit you needs and budget. Acrobat/InDesign approaches are not the only way to go.

  • Re: Quality Certificate requirement At MIGO for raw material

    Dear all,
I have a requirement where I want the system ask for Quality certificate while doing the goods receipt. The system should not allow me to process the transaction-MIGO if certificate is not recieved.
    Please advice
    Regards,
    Vivek Sharma

    Hi Vivek,
You need to perform following settings.
    Configuration
    Follow the path
Run trx QCC0->QM in Logistics->QM in Procurement-->Define Control Keys.
Here create your own control key
Where you can set the rest data as per your requirement but for to check the check box for "Cert Required" is must be activated to meet the requirement relevant to this thread.
    Save
Say you have configured your Control Key ZZ01
Now just below this one small configuration is mandatory is Run trx QCC0->QM in Logistics->QM in Procurement-->Define Keys for Certificate Processing
    Maintain Description
Execute it and go to "Define Certificate Types"
Here either for your relevant certification type or  for new type (if you wish to create new), maintain the data as below
"Certificate Required for Each Purchase Order Item" ==== Active
"Certif. per GR Item" ==== Active
    "Certif. check required" ==== Active
"Control W/O Certif." Set any error message, I would suggest to select "Without lot error message, with lot error message"
"Enhanced cert. processing" ==== Don't Activate
"No certif. confirmation at GR" ==== Don't Activate
The rest settings are not important to maintain so leave them blank.
    At Master Level
In QM view of MM for the material maintain "QM Control Key" that just created "ZZ01"
and the certificate type that is just created or amended. under the procurement data.
Maintain Q-Info record for Material - Vendor - Plant combination (QI01)
Now as per your requirement system will ask for the confirmation for certificate receipt as Yes/No. under the Purchase Order data in MIGO at item level data.
If you select "NO" to it it will not allow to post the GR.
I hope this is what you were looking for.
    Regards,
    Shyamal

  • What are the best export settings for a HD video in Premier Pro CS4?

    Hi!
I've been having so much trouble with this issue and it's something that continually frustrates my boss. I have a HD video the settings for it are
    FPS 23.98
    1920 x 1080, then a few lines down it says 1408 x 792
    16 bit,
    2 channels
    48000 Hz
What should the settings be when I make a new sequence?
When I look at it in the window in Premiere Pro I have to contantly 'shrink' the image to fit the window, is that something I should be doing or does it indicate the sequence settings are incorrect?
But more importantly what should the export settings be? I exported a 4 minute long video and the size was 1 GB, I know that's too big.
I need to export it without loosing any quality and export another one that meets the Youtube and Vimeo limits on size.
Vimeo is 500 MB per week, sometimes I upload 4 videos per week. I think Youtube you can only upload 500 MB at a time.
I need to get smaller sizes with loosing the least amount of quality possible AND the best export settings for quality, so I guess I have 3 separate questions-
What are the best sequence settings for HD video?
What are the best export settings for HD without loosing any quality?
What are the best export settings for the size to come out around 500 MB with loosing the least amount of quality possible?
    Thank You!
    http://forums.adobe.com/thread/713070
On the above thread I used the 5th anwer, and it's going to take about 7 hours to export a 4 minute video :/

    It Stands for "Coder Decoder."
Your format is like a container for your video file. Certain containers can hold certain codecs and not others. Other containers can hold other codecs. Sometimes different containers can hold the same codecs.
This might be a bad analogy but I'll give it a try.
A coffe cup (container) can hold pretty much any liquid you drink, where a red solo cup (container) won't hold scolding water. So, the coffe cup would be your container of choice most likely because it has the most options for liquids (codecs). But, you might want a red solo cup for just a single crappy beer at a party (a moderate quality streaming video on the web). In that case, you don't need all the optoins of another container.
In Premiere Pro CC H.264 is a Container and the Codec in one option. This has been streamlined for web distrobution of video to be played in browsers without things like Flash or special players.
Were as if you choose the QuickTime Container there are over 40 codec optoins (at least on my machine with additinal ones installed) but you may run into an issue where your browser doesn't support QuickTime playback.
I would say that your container is for compatability with players and your codec is taken into consideration when looking at the quality of the compression.
Yesteraday I wrote a blog entery on Exporting from Premiere Pro and found that the MPEG-4 codec inside of the QuickTime container gave me much richer colors than the H.264 container/codec option.
I posted the link before but here it is:

    Dear guys,

Here is my question, this is the first time i am working on Quality certificates
From sap help came to know that
For Quality certificate for Delivery we need to create a certificate profile , forms that is lay out and contents of the certificate

Thats clear for me, but also we need to define the output type as LQCA and LQCB if it is ship to party or sold to party
so i belive that when ever delivery Inspection lot UD is done Quality certifiacte is printed according to certificate profile and output type
i belive that the charactersitics of the inspection lot also printed in the Quality certificate
system gets the information from certificate profile , in the charecteristic assignement
just please someone help me that my understanding is correct
Also i need to know if i want to print Quality certificate for inspection lot how do i set the output type as there is nothing like LQCA,LQCB for inspection lot

  • Best settings for MPEG Streamclip

    Hi all,
Being forced to work off DVD source due to lack of options and want to ensure that I get the best possible results. Am using MPEG Streamclip and did a trial run to convert it into DV, converted the audio to 48khrz.
Picture was real time but audio needed rendering.
Can anyone advise me on the best possible settings for quality and realtime playback?
I'll be deliving in uncompressed quicktime and DVD.
Also, new to FCE and want to know where the best place to store the files I convert? Is this what the Sctatch disk is for?
Thanks in advance for your help, work on a weekend is never fun but you might just be able to help me get to the pub for a bit at least!

    Tom Wolsky wrote:
You converted to the wrong format. Do not convert to DV. Convert to QuickTime using DV PAL as the compressor. The frame rate is 25fps. The quality slider makes no difference.
You can only work in DV or Apple Intermediate Codec for HD in FCE. You cannot work in uncompressed formats so you're media has to be converted to DV.
I'm doing the same thing, but I'll be needing NTSC. I see in the Export to Quicktime dialog that there is no simple DV NTSC listed. The most promising-looking compression formats appear to be Apple DVCPRO50 - NTSC, Apple DV/DVCPRO - NTSC, Apple Intermediate Codec, Apple FCP Uncompressed 8(or 10)-bit 4:2:2.
Or is it better to use the Export to Other Formats dialog, and select QuickTime?
This is the first time I've used MPEG Streamclip (and I've only recently started using FCE 4), so I'm a little confused. What are the best settings to use for video that will be imported to FCE for NTSC?
    Thanks.

Best thing is to use the Adobe Media Encoder bundled with Flash CS4. Play with the settings until you get the optimum settings and the import the .flv to the stage. Then publish the movie "best".

One more thing i would like to add here as against the same batch in april we had taken the print of COA (Quality Certificate) through the transaction QC22. But now we are trying to do that than system is thrown above mentioned error.
As i am new in QM, kindly explain we were to maintain the certificate profile.
    Waiting for the experts inputs.

    Hi
Try with QA33 you may have display authorization,  or check in MB51 on the base of material and batch you can find the lot number generated, then go to QA03 and check the result, if you want to validate the characters check with the inspection plan, the characters entered in the inspection plan and the characters in the concerned certificate profile.
