Help me,plz.

Hi Farid-11388
You can update to 10.2 through the BlackBerry Link
But it is recommended to check if your Operator officially released the 10.2
And so it must be an update.
Always remember before upgrading to backup with BlackBerry Link.

  • Saving Settings for use with Export using Quicktime Conversion

    Dear All,
Is it possible to save a set of settings for use with the Export using Quicktime Conversion feature? The reason I ask is that we have to export a quicktime of every tv commercial we make (using the same settings) and it would be great if "one click" could deliver the export settings we need.
    All the best, Sean

Well, you can create a droplet from Compressor that would do what you'd like...
Open compressor and in the Help menu, Select the user manual. Navigate to page 315.

  • Lazy Nezumi - settings for use with CC

I am finding it hard to find my way round way this software - the incomprehensible (to me) manual doesn't help - and I'd be grateful for a steer on what are good default settings for smoothing curves in freehand drawing.  None of the settings seem to help or have a simple and useful effect for freehand work.
Can I assume that it only works with the brush tool and not with other tools like the Art History Brush?
I know Trevor D has mentioned this software a couple of times.
    Thanks.

David, you had me wondering there.  I don't think I have ever used the Art History brush.  I did try though, and initially thought LNP did not work with that tool, but with high settings I could see that it does.
For smooth lines use the Massive Smooth preset with mode set to Moving Average.  The default values are good for the Brush tool, but seem to work better with much higher 'Amount' setting for the Art History brush.  But I have no experience with the Art history brush, and don't even have a clear idea how it works.
Lazy Mouse with the Pulled string mode, are used for smooth lines with abrupt changes of direction.  You have to stop and move the cursor back a touch to take the tension out of the pulled string. Then move in the new direction and when the pulled string becomes taut the line will follow the cursor again.
Actually, the animated gifs on the site explain it better than my words

I don't think that Guilaume ever sleeps.  He has never taken more than 30 minutes to reply to an email, even on Christmas day!  He is super helpful, and tends to respond immediately if you use the LNP Chat facility.
If you check out the Feedback page, you'll find lots of LNP users that do 'similar' work to you, although I have to say none that were quite like your beautiful painterly type artworks.  You'll possibly recognize some of the names, and maybe swap some ideas with them.  It's quite a little community, but there isn't a forum unfortunately.
I am not sure how relevant they will be to your work, but do check out the Constraint presets.  For line drawing I find they are really useful.

  • JVC GZ-HD7U MPEG Streamclip export settings for use with FCP

There are a number of compression options in the free MPEG Streamclip 1.9.2 and it's unclear what's best or how I would figure that info out. My guess is Apple HDV 1080i50, Apple HDV 1080i60, Apple DVCPRO HD 1080i50, or Apple DVCPRO HD 1080i60. The default setting was Apple Motion JPEG A, but this produced a huge file and doesn't seem right anyway. I think the desired frame size is 1920 x 1080, but I'm uncertain if I need to end up with an interlaced or progressive .mov file. My selectable options for progressive/interlaced are: "Interlaced Scaling," "Reinterlace Chroma," and "Deinterlace Video." Selecting "Deinterlace Video" excludes use of the other two options.
These clips will eventually be edited in FCP and I'm guessing that the appropriate settings will match whatever is selected at the export stage.
I'm using the JVC Everio GZ-DH7U HD Hard disk camcorder...I'm not sure if JVC uses the same setting across the board for it's HD cameras or maybe just the Everio cameras are similarly designed??
    Thanks to all!!

the output should match the source file, generally speaking. So if you camera is making HD files then using a HD sized coded would suffice.
HDV (IIRC) is 1440x1080. I often find that using the default settings for a particular file type in Streamclip often work quite well.
As a test, take a small file. if it works, great batch process away, if not, tweak it and then try the same small file until you get a desirable result. Rinse and repeat.

  • Server settings for using other pop3/imap applications?

trying to set up mac mail on my motorola q, and can't quie get the mail to work. What should the setting be:
For incoming and outgoing server names
For account name (should it include @and after)
    SSL?
    Thanks

    Hello guys,
    I have found a solution: In ZendFramework/library/Zend/Amf/Response/Http.php  linenumber 59:
    $ssl = $_SERVER['HTTPS']; is given an error.
    I did this:
    $_SERVER['HTTPS'] = 'off';
    $ssl = $_SERVER['HTTPS'];
    So add this line....
    And it works...
Hope it works for you too.
Ooh, and don't forget to follow the instruction of TweenOut.

  • Garage Band Preference settings for use with Reason

i am trying to get my settings right in both GB and Reason so that i can record my reason samples into GB . So far i finally learned from you folks how to play the samples in either GB or R using of course my Keyboard and ii know to start GB first so it is master ,, Having done that , i can see that GB does recognize that i am pressing the keys even when playing the Reason sounds but the reason sounds are not showing up as a signal on the GB volume controls ,, all that shows is that little dot when i press a key next to the tempo .. So far i am thinking that i need my Generator setting in GB set to : AU NET RECEIVE ( ??? ) The Reason preference's under advanced MIDI are also ??? but under External Control in Reason , i need to know for Bus A , B , C , D which to have set at my : Kontrol 49 MIDI IN and which of the A,B,C,D BUS's to have set for : KONTROL 49 PORT A and/or KONTROL 49 PORT B . • Reason preference settings for use in GB and GB settings

Hello again everyone , first my apologies to anyone not wanting to see another Reason question but i am trying to get my settings right in both so i can record my reason stuff into GB . I am so far thinking that i need my Generator setting in GB set to : AU NET RECEIVE ( ??? ) The Reason preference's under advanced MIDI are also ??? but under External Control in Reason , i need to know for Bus A , B , C , D which to have set at my : Kontrol 49 MIDI IN and which of the A,B,C,D BUS's to have set for : KONTROL 49 PORT A and/or KONTROL 49 PORT B . Thankyou much and i hope you all have a great rest of the day : ) Steve

Harm> Good question. In my case it's for a handful of reasons:
    I don't know any better.
Have a customer requirement to hand them trimmed footage (They just want the highlights not everything that was originally shot).
They want the trimmed footage in as lossless a format as they can get that's still editable convienently on a mac book.
    The original footage is 1920x1080 24mb/sec AVC @ 60i (29.97fps)
They suggested ProRes (not possble at all on a PC to my knowledge). Or DVCPRO HD. Which is technically possible but ends up matting the footage due to DVCPRO HD not supporting the resolutions the camera originally shot in.
I've seen you post quite a lot around here and it seems like you've been using the Adobe suite for a while.
I've only been doing this for a year. Got any tricks or tips to help out a noob wanting to learn how to do it right?
Googling I found tons of tutorials/videos/etc on going FCP -> PP. Next to zero on going the other way. Most things I did find claim it's not possible which strikes me as a cop out answer.
I have an i7 975 3.3ghz quad core so rendering times aren't too bad. (just under two hours for 3 minutes of video). What I have resorted to is rendering the same project out in every single codec I have and trying to load it in FCP to see which looks best.
As you can imagine this is getting pretty tiring.

  • Correct settings for using varDisplayTopic Title and varTopicTitle

Say I have a module 20 screens long (CP4 by the way) with four topics. The template I'm using was set up by someone else, but had the $$varDisplayTopicTitle$$ and the $$varTopicTitle$$  already defined.
Titles are assigned TopicTitle01 through TopicTitle04 in the Project>Actions, along with varDispalyTopicTitle.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but the first page of my first topic shold be set to:
    Label: Topic01 Page01
    On slide enter: Assign
    Assign: varTopicTitle01
    with: Understanding Our Products
For the pages following topic 01, what should my settings should be?  Do I need to label every page (e.g., Topic 01 Page 02, Topic 01 Page 03) after the first Topic page?  Do I use Execute Advanced Action and Set Topic Title for the pages to follow.    Or do I use the Assign again?
    Much thanks in advance!
    JT

    Hello,
OK, now it is very clear, thanks to the screenshots.
From your first screenshot, I deduct that you already created the 3 extra user variables you do need: varTopicTitle11, varTopicTitle12 and varTopicTitle13. And I think you gave them as values the complete title of each topic.
How do I wish that Captivate 5 were already there, this kind of actions is so much easier to create there (I'm not an Adobe employee, be sure, just happy to have been a tester for this new version).
Will try to explain step by step: you'll have to add 3 more conditions to your already long action SetTopicTitle. They are quite similar to all the (10) others, so for Topic11 it will be:
    Check if     cpInfoCurrentSlideLabel contains Topic11
      Begin
      varDisplayTopicTitle = varTopicTitle11
      End
Nothing is needed as Else statement.
Do not know if you ever wrote such an action? The interface is a bit 'clumsy' (explains my sigh about CP5). After choosing the action, scroll to the end after the last statement:
    select 'Add statement'
use the space bar to open the dropdown-list, for the first action, choose Condition
after 'Check if' select 'Select variable', use the space bar to open the dropdown-list, choose varDisplayTopicTitle
select 'is equal to', use the space bar to open the dropdown-list, choose contains
double-click (or space bar) to choose variable out of choice between variable and value
open the dropdown list with variables (space bar) and choose varTopicTitle11
You can leave the rest as it is. Repeat the same steps for the two other Topics.
Since you are using the same advanced action on each start of Topic, there you'll have nothing to change.
    Hope this helps?

  • Full-quality export settings for use with Xbox 360

    Greetings, all.
I use Rivet to stream video from my Mac to my Xbox 360. Recently I purchased a Sony HDR-HC5 HDV camera, and I want to see that video on my TV at full quality. I don't have an HDMI cable or a DVI-to-HDMI cable, so my only option is to stream this video to the 360 via Rivet.
To accomplish this, I have been trying to export my video at full quality from iMovie HD 6, but one of a couple things happens: 1- the resolution is intolerably low (I want 1080i), 2- the 360 complains about an unsupported format. I've tried exporting in QT format with expert settings, but no matter what I try, I have been unable to find a combination that produces 1080i that can be viewed on the 360.
Surely somebody else on here has gone through this exercise and has figured out what works. If you have any info on this, please share! I searched through the archives and didn't find anything useful. I've also searched on Google and the answer is still elusive.
    Thanks!

Thanks for the reply, but the Xbox will in fact view MPEG-4, which iMovie can export. The only problem I'm having is with the quality of the output. The quality is in the movie that is exported, not in the Xbox's viewing of the movie - the movie looks just as bad on my Mac mini as it does thru my Xbox...
With experimentation, I think I'm getting closer to my goal...

  • Best settings for using PE7 for a Kickstarter video?

I'm working on a video for a kickstarter campaign using PE7, with video from my Flip Mino HD. My basic question is what set-up and output settings produce the best quality video for online? Here's what a Kickstarter video should look like.
The video from the Flip is HD, MPEG-4, widescreen. It shows up on PE7 with NO red lines and plays fine there.
The Kickstarter frame appears to be 560px x 420px. They accept MOV, MPEG, AVI, MP4, 3GP, WMV, FLV, with the max. size of 200MB. They also suggest bitrates of around 1500.
I assume I should use the EXPORT function for more choices, rather than the SHARE one? What setting do you suggest?
When I've exported in MOV, MP4, AVI or WMV, I get data on top of the video. Never had this problem before. How do I get rid of it?
    Thanks for the help.

If you're editing video from a Flip camcorder, you'll need to upgrade to version 9, the first version of Premeire Elements to support this type of video. No previous version is going to work well with it.
As for output, I'd recommend you use thse output settings. Most likely Kickstarter will accept this video and then automatically convert it to the format necessary for the site.
From the Share tab,  choose Computer and then QuickTime/MOV.  Choose the DV preset and then click the Advanced button.
From the settings window, do the following:
    Video Tab
    *Video Codec: H.264
    *Quality: 100
    *Frame Wdith: 855
    *Frame Height: 480
    *Frame Rate: 29.97
    *Field Type: Progressive
    *Pixel Aspect Ratio: square
    *Set Bitrate: checked
    *Bitrate: 8000 kbps
    Audio Tab
    *Audio Code: AAC
    *Output Channels: Stereo
    *Frequency: 44kHz

  • Suggested settings for using x264Encoder?

    Hi
I want to produce a screener for festivals that must be under 2gb. My film is 1hr 48min.
It was suggested I use the x264Encoder for better quality with low bit rate.
There seem to be mega-settings to tweak. Any suggestions?
    best
    elmer

    Take a look at this.
    https://trac.ffmpeg.org/wiki/Encode/H.264
Looking at your other thread, it isn't clear that your bit rate needs to be exceptionally  low.
As others have pointed out, you need to send IMBD an SD version your movie. By way of comparison, the stock Apple TV SD 480 setting should output a file of well under 1 GB for a 108 minute movie. In compressor, you could up the bit rate by a factor of 2 for additional quality – if you weren't satisfied with the stock results.
Not to push back against the idea of x.264. I often use it myself – when low file sizes are required or when the color with standard flavors of H.264 don't seem quite right.
    Good luck.

  • What quicktime movie settings for use in Logic

Hi, I'm working on a 50 track mix of a live gig which was also filmed and I have to work to picture. I was advised to ask the video editor to give me the following:
Quicktime Sorenson codec (or Sorenson3). Limit data rate to 500 kbps, 320 x 240.
But, working with this quality of movie makes it hard to really see if all my audio is in sync especially when the lighting is low in certain shots. It's too pixelated if I try to blow it up to see better. The editor is in France and he has to upload the files etc and I want to get better quality from him but I need to know what the highest quality movie I can run with my set up without wasting the editors time by outputting and uploading something which Logic won't work with. Anybody got any ideas. There's nothing in the manual that I can see that discusses Quicktime resolution/quality.
    thanks
    Mark

Using Quicktime Pro, convert your movie to PhotoJPEG format (.mov), and use that version in Logic for best sync and small filesize.

  • What are the settings for using an ATT mail account with iPad mail?

    Dear Folks,
I just switched from earthlink to att, and I can't seem to get Mail configured quite right. I can send email just fine, via stmp.att.yahoo.com. But when I try to receive email it tells me it can't connect to pop.att.yahoo.com.
Since I can send OK, I figure my email address and password have to be good, so most likely I'm using the wrong POP server address.
Would someone like to give me a clue?
    Thanks!
    pax / Ctein

Am having similar problems. Outgoing settings work on our iBook, using home wireless net, but the same settings do not work on our iPad. Why is this, and can anything be done to fix this?
I am connected to our AT&T DSL modem via Ethernet cable. the modem is the wireless type, also.
    INCOMING: pop.att.yahoo.com
    USERNAME: [name]@sbcglobal.net
    PASSWORD:*************
    PORT: 995 w/Use SSL checked.
    OUTGOING: smtp.att.yahoo.com
    USERNAME: [name]@sbcglobal.net
    PASSWORD:*************
    PORT: 465 w/Use SSL checked
I entered this info into the iPad before syncing it and have tried many permutations to no avail. Talking to AT&T did no good as they suggested coming out and changing settings in the DSL modem, which would have precluded using it normally, and would have made it impossible to connect elsewhere with the iPad. D'oh!
Apple doesn't have an answer as we spent a couple of hours with one of their "GENIUSES" and after asking his supervisor about it we left with only the mobileme capability. We can access the internet tho, just not use our own email address.
All I can say is HELP--HELP--HELP--HELP--HELP--HELP--HELP--HELP--HELP--HELP-!!
P.S. A family member who just left Apple told me that the next OS is going to be called "LION, OS7!"
