Settings for XML PO Output in SRM

Hi All,
I have been tasked with developing a solution to send PO's to the vendor using XML via PI. I know there is functionality in SRM to do this but do not know where to start.
I would really appreciate any help the SRM experts can provide.

I need send XML PO's to vendor's from SRM and need to identify the config settings that are required in SRM - changes to vendor data and badi used etc. We are using Extended Classic version and will only be sending items that were generatd from the catalogue. I know little about SRM but understand that I need to set the output of the vendor to send the message to PI - from here PI will convert this into an XML document and then forward this to the vendor. Do you have any links where I can find out more about the settings to be made in SRM?

Settings for Purchase Order output using services for MM-SUS scenario?

Dear Gurus,
I am configuring the service procurement classic and plan driven procurement for MM-SUS
environment. We are on SAP SRM 7.01/ECC 6 EHP5.
I need to maintain the below settings for PO output:
1. RUN transaction SWETYPV
2. IN the object types field, enter CL_SE_PUR_WF_OUT.
3. In the event field, enter CREATED.
4. In the receiver type field, enter WS53800008.
5. In the receiver function module field, enter SWW_WI_CREATE_VIA_EVENT_IBF.
6. Select the 'Linkage Activated' checkbox.
7. Save your entries.
Similarly, one more entry for the event CHANGED.
However, the system is not allowing me to save the settings.
If I choose BOR Object Type 'CL_SE_PUR_WF_OUT', it gives an error message 'Object type CL_SE_PUR_WF_OUT is not defined'.
If I choose object category 'Business class for object type CL_SE_PUR_WF_OUT, it gives an error message 'Class CL_SE_PUR_WF_OUT is not a business class.'
There are similar entries in the table SWETYPV for object type CL_SE_PUR_PO_WF_OUT' with object category CL.If we copy the entries and tries to replace the
object type 'CL_SE_PUR_PO_WF_OUT' with CL_SE_PUR_WF_OUT and save it, it gives an error message 'CL is not used for workflow event'.
Could you please help me on how to configure the settings for PO output from ECC system using services?
Any input is highly appreciated.

Best project settings for yet unknown output

We are using Premiere Pro CS4 (+others from Master Collection). I should edit few minutes long music-video-like collage, using only still pictures. Is it possible to say, what kind of project settings (resolution etc.) it would be best to use, when the final result will be going to various output devices. HD, DVD, web... How to maximize the "portability" of the project?

Thanks for your help, but the problem is not with camera models. The material is only still images from digital slr cameras. I will just make a nice & slow "image show" of them, maybe using little bit panning & zooming in timeline.
It will for sure be delivered with SD-DVD, projected straight from computer, maybe presented in lowres web version.
But if I need even higher definations, what kind of settings I should use, to enable easy downscaling to those lower resolutions mentioned?
Progressive propably, full HD 1920x1080? Should I make some custom settings for the project or select some presets, and if so, which?
There is so many them and I'm convenient only with the PAL-SD

Idoc settings for Backend Contract creation in SRM 5.0

Hello,
Im working on SRM 5.0 (HP 11) and want to create a Backend contract in R/3 (46C) directly.
I do not need Local Contracts or GOAs en SRM!
As I interprete the config guide for Sourcing (page 59 and 70-75, the scenario I need uses the BADIs:
BBP_DETERMINE_LOGSYS (determining Back End System)
BBP_CTR_BE_CREATE (for Mapping SRM settings with R/3)
I also understand that the Idoc configuration only needs to be done in the backend!!? (page 73 / 74)
Trx: WE42 and WE20.
Is this correct? Or do I have to maintain also the the IDOCs config in the SRM system?

Proxy settings for XML iview

We have been struggling to create an XML iview using the XML iview template since we installed EP 6.0 SP9. We tried to upgrade to SP13, SP14 but still did not work. Recently we upgraded to SP18 and today SP19, and we got a new error message "Runtime error in XML iView. Proxy settings on the server may not be configured".
We don't use any proxy servers in our network. I have also tried to configure the proxy settings in system configuration and restart the service but the error keeps unchanged.
We are almost desperated but without the XML iview Portal means nothing to us.

We don't have to go though a proxy server to access the internet. And the XML source URL is from our internal server netword. So I believe that we don't need to configure the proxy setting in this case.
We have also tried to configure the proxy settings as instructed in many messages but it still doesn't work.
Is there anything else that we might be missing for creating an XML iview?

Parser for XML as output from DB..

Can some one tell me a parser which can take a query and gives the output as an XML format. And takes an XML file and puts the data into DB. pl. let me know from where i can download the parser. and if u have any sample code pl give me.

I got it. But now i would like to know, can i specify the XML format to be generated(DTD kind of thing)when we make a query, like the query will be getting the data of two tables say master and child. so for each record of master there can be multiple childs. at that time i dont want the master data come along with all the childs(master data duplication should not be there). let me put like this. In the master tag there can/should be multiple child tags(sub tags). can this be done using the XSU or XDK ? In the same way can we insert data into two tables at a time. its like we will be taking the data from two tables do some operations reduce some data and then insert into two tables again. can this be achieved with xml file. And i would like to know how to generate one xml for one master record(including its child records, going to be join or sub query etc..) Am i clear on to my question ? If u have any sample data on this could u give me. once again thanks alot for the url.

FCP Settings for progressive DVD Output

Hello FCP folk,
I'm working on a project that uses still photos as the only visual content, most of these are historic black and white. Wondering if I can take advantage of this and work towards a progressive scan DVD as the final out put.
Project is being edited in Final Cut 5, OS 10.4.3, playback through an ED and HD ready LCD monitor.
I'm wondering what the proper workflow should be to work towards this end. FCP settings? Output from the editing timeline options? DVDSP options ?

I've done small samples at 720 x 25 720 x 50 1080 x 25 1080 x 50 before using Dynamic Link (which I must admit I've found very convenient and effective previously) to set up in Encore and burn without extras such as menus.
Playing back on a 37" TV we can't see a discernible difference apart from a little shimmer on horizontal lines.
I think I'll press ahead with 720 x 25 with this project which is what I've used before and am confident with but would welcome more advice on this topic.
I wonder if these settings would be even more critical should I need to output to Blue Ray

Output is not going to Printer Directly for XML (PDF) Output

Sequence settings for PAL DVD output

G'day,
I'm cutting my sister's wedding video. I have footage from 2 cameras - a Panasonic TM900 (1920x1080p50) and a Canon MVX430 (miniDV SD PAL "widescreen").
The intended media is DVD. I am using Final Cut Pro, and DVD Studio Pro.
I've read that I should use a PAL CCIR 601 5:4 720x576 frame size, with PAL CCIR 601 pixels in order to achive widescreen DVD playback.
And this seems right, as when I drag the HD and SD footage to the sequence, they both maintain their 16:9 ratios - with black borders top and bottom.
However once I start playing around with the footage... zooming in (ie increasing the scale in the Motion tab), or if I re-centre the footage, moving it around the frame, those borders move around or are completely lost.
Previously for this problem I have just used the crop function (with key frames as required) in the Motion tab, but that can get very painful.
Am I using the wrong work flow here? Should I be using an actual 16:9 frame from the start, instead of the 5:4 with borders?
Is there an easier way to maintain the borders?

For the record, I do have some understanding of what I'm doing, just was only taught what I needed to complete the projects I worked on at Uni, so don't have a full understanding of all of the complexities involved...

Yes. Make your Sequence DVPAL anamorphic.

Why do you want borders? On a 16:9 TV the screen will be filled. You will only see the borders on a 4:3 set.

Setting format and format options in Output module settings for render queue item

Hello,
I am unable to set the "Format" and "Format options" for video in output module settings programatically using After effects apis.
I referred the after effects cs3 sdk guide for the apis.
I find apis for all other options in the "outputmodule settings " like :
AEGP_SetEmbedOptions
AEGP_SetOutputChannels
AEGP_SetStretchInfo
AEGP_SetSoundFormatInfo
But there is no api listed for setting the options available in the "Format" tab and "Format options" tab.
The "Format" tab and "Format options" tab is available in the dialog that opens when user clicks on the Output module settings for the render queue item.
The format tab when clicked shows a drop down list with aff different formats. By default "Video for Windows" is set.
The drop down list contains following format options
Adobe Clip Notes
Adobe Flash video
Quicktime movie
Video for Windows
I need to be able to set the "Quicktime movie" option in the Format tab programmatically and then set the compression type as "Animation" in the compression settings programatically using the api functions available in AE CS3 SDK
Please suggest the suitable api to do so.
I need to write my own plugin to export to Quicktime movie using the after effects apis.
I follow below steps to do so.
1. AEGP_InsertMenuCommand and add export option to AE with my own plugin name
2. In the command hook, select active item using AEGP_GetActiveItem
3. Add it to render queue
4. Set the output module settings for 0 th output module using
suites.OutputModuleSuite1()
5. Use different functions from suites.OutputModuleSuite1() to set the output module settings like EmbedOptions,StrechInfo etc.
6. Till this step, I am doing it right. But I am not able to find any api for setting Format options using suites.OutputModuleSuite1()
I also checked all other suites available for setting FormatOptions but no luck.

Hi Namita,
I am experiencing the same problem.
I am using AE CC SDK, and I am unable to change the outputmodule format to any of the other movie format types (mov, mpg, flv, etc.).
It is always set to "avi"
I even compiled and ran the Queuebert example in the SDK, and there I get the same problem: the path extension is always left on ".avi"
Does anyone know how to change this?

Unable to see EXCEL output for xml report--browser issues?

hi i have created and registered an xml publisher report.
i want to see the out put in Excel format.When i run the report i get junk data as output.
is there any profile setting or viewer profiles that i need to change to view the output in excel.
i can see excel output on standalone version when i load the data into template and look for the excel output.
i cant see the same when i run the program through apps.
Can any one help me regarding this.

Using XML based output of rq*Eval() for generating graphical views

I've been trying the standard example used in training manuals of generating RandomRedDots.
(Scripts that donot involve images are working fine)
While using rqTableEval() the output format
1. using select clause (select cast(value as longvarchar(32000)) from dual)
2. 'png'
is throwing ORA-29400: data cartridge error
ORA-24333: zero iteration count
ORA-06512: at "RQSYS.RQTABLEEVALIMPL", line 7
ORA-06512: at line 4
3. 'xml' type is generating output as desired with two columns name, value.
When this xml query is used in physical table with columns - name as int, value as longvarchar(32000) as output is clob ,
the execution(view data) results as 'no data'.
Can i get help in how to utilize this xml output so that graphs can be made available in obiee dashboard ultimately.

How to utilize this output in physical layer of rpd, in table with select clause
I tried select dbms_lob.substr(value,100000,1) to convert the clob of xml to varbinary but then there is no output in sqlplus.
If the above is used as select clause for physical table it throws ORA:00904 "value" invalid identifier.
Can I please get help in getting this output in physical layer tables and eventually to presentation layer.
Have i missed something or some configuration needs to be done for acquiring the images
(ps: this is occurring for images and scripts involving number type are working fine.
I've included png and other packages in RProfile.site file)
