Settings in Diagnosis group

The diagnosis group in the Univariate profile associated wtith the Master profile has the settings for MAPE, MPE etc. These tolreance limits are also in the alert profile on the forecast tab. Which of these takes precedence if the values are different in both the places?

The settings you maintain in the Diagnosis Group can give you the Forecast alerts which will be available to view ONLY in the Planning Book without the need to do any further configuration. BUT these alerts will NOT be seen in Alert monitor with just the Diagnosis Group.
"As per note 375965, the settings of alert monitor in Tcode /SAPAPO/AMON1 does not influence the generation of alerts." - this means that, having an alert profile or the setting in the Alert Profile(/SAPAPO/AMON1) does not lead to generation of the alerts in the first place, its the diagnosis group that is the trigger for these alerts.
BUT If you want to see the alerts in the Alert Monitor classified as an Error (Red ) message, Warning (Yellow) message, OR just Information (Blue) Message, then you HAVE to create a Forecast Alert profile and maintain these tolerance limits for the respective Error metrics in the Alert Monitor. In either case having a Diagnosis group is a prerequisite.

I'm new to most things apple aside from basic use of ipads and iphones. I was put in charge of the ipads for my school district and after some research and effort, I've gotten a mac server (on mavericks) up and running.
I have setup an MDM, gotten the token, gotten the VPP, etc...
Everything is working as it seems to be working. But...
In Device groups, under settings for a device group I see "Enrollment Settings" with things like "prompt user to enroll device" and "Supervise (IOS only)". So I added a device to a new group, reset the device in question and nothing. The settings appeared to do nothing. Is that normal or am I missing something?

Verifty local DNS services. Invalid DNS causes other OS X Server components to have issues. You'll need DNS on your local network somewhere, whether that's served by OS X Server, or another DNS server doesn't matter.
Launch Terminal.app from Applications > Utilities and issue the following harmless, diagnostic command:
sudo changeip -checkhostname
That'll require an administrative password for the sudo, might generate a one-time message about the use of sudo, and will then display some configuration information and then an indication that no changes are required, or that there are network or DNS issues. If you're not in .local or .arpa, that'll usually give you a good view of your local network configuration.
The device has to be enrolled with Profile Manager server. How you do that depends on how you want to manage your devices. There are various overviews of how this stuff works too, if you're getting started: here is one video.

Service Level Settings on Skill Group - ICM 8.5

Hi,
Customer would like to set different service for different skill group as the business requirement.
SG1 - 80/20 (80% of the calls should be answered within 20 seconds)
SG2 - 90/20 (90% of the calls should be answered within 10 seconds)
SG3 - 70/30 (70% of the calls should be answered within 30 seconds)
SG4 - 60/40 (60% of the calls should be answered within 40 seconds)
But we are getting only threshold field on the Skill Group configuration where we can set only seconds like 20,30,40 but system doesn't show the % percentage of calls (base value)
Kindly advise me how to achieve this configuration... if system doesnt have the option to change base value then how to calculate the service level mentioned above.

I guess the differenece between call type and skill group, SL will be calculated after the calls offered to Call Type Node and Skill Group Node. for example call type mapped with the script where skill group node configured on the same script, assume that there is some more nodes in the script, Call type SL will calculate include the extra nodes whatever defined before the skill gorup node.

Please clarify more. For example if i configure 30 seconds, what is the meaning of the settings. i can assume that 100% calls should be answered within 30 seconds.
And also would like to know best practices to get the various SL thresholds.

Way to copy settings between track groups?

Hi, Is there a way to copy the settings or attributes from one track group to another? In other words, I'd like to create a new group in the Group Settings window and then copy the settings from an existing group to the new one. Thanks!

One Probable reason for you error.
Check the TC: OVZ2 whether you have ticked the Block qty req. for the Checking group 02 or you have selected No checks.
The standard setting for 02 should not have any tick..
or _Check in the TC : se38 program : SAPLOPP3.
Check whether you have defined the plants with the checking rule BO.
This must be your error._

Purchasing Groups values not populated in PR default settings - ME51N ??

We have SAP R/3 MM ECC 6.0.
I want to set Purchasing Group as one of the default parameters in ME51N (Purchasing Requisition) screen.
The problem is I have selected 'Purchasing Group' as a default parameter in 'Default Values'/ 'Personal Settings' but,
the Drop-down help does not show up any values for Purchasing Group to be selected as default.
However, I can set-up 'Account assignment' & 'Item Category' as defaults and, I can choose their default values.
Therefore, in result, I do not have any Purchasing Group set as default for my PRs.
Is there a configuration setting required to populate the drop-down box of Default Settings (for purchasing group)
with Purchasing Group values? Please advise.
Could this be a bug?

I have already done these steps.
The problem is - Purch. Group field is there in Default settings but, it doesn't show me any values to select from and
set a Default value.
None of the purchasing groups available in system are appearing here. The selection list is Blank.
Is there anything I need to do to bring the P.Group values in the drop-down selection list of Personal settings?

Lost channel settings in group properties and blending options when switching to or from 16bit

I recently noticed that Channels-settings in both Group Properties and Blending Options are lost when changing a file from 8bit to 16bit and vice versa.
Could someone please verify if the behaviour is the same on their set-up?

Audio Settings - Channel Grouped

Hi there,
Recently re-installed FCP 7 and using Easy Setting for capturing DV tapes.
When check the Sequences Settings the Audio Settings/Config: Channel Grouped. This cause I can get only one audio track in timeline (L). How can I switch the Audio Settings/Config: Channel Grouped to "Default" instead of "Channel Grouped" than can get 2 audio tracks (L+R)?
Can anyone help me to solve this problem?

First, I'd ask... are you sure there are two tracks on the tape?

How to Managing Firefox Settings with Group Policy?

Is there any way to manage Firefox Settings through Windows group policy?
I want to replace Firefox with IE in the network but don't know how to customize the settings with GPO.

Outlook Anywhere office 2013 gets dissabled even though group pollicy is set to force proxy settings.

Domain joined laptops have outlook anywhere settings forced through group policy.
Running gpresult command shows correct group policy are applied.

You are using Outlook 2013, right?
However, "Folder Id: Software\Policies\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Outlook\RPC\ProxyServerName" implies it's the setting for Outlook 2007.
As for Outlook 2013, it should be 15.0 instead of 12.0.
Please confirm that and change the settings to try again.

Apply distro groups settings at OU level

Hello I posted this question in the
365 forum and they thought this forum would have a better answer.
I have a large number of groups that need to have the same settings applied. Hide from GAL, hide membership, same approved senders list, etc.
This is a hybrid exchange setup. All the groups are created as security groups in AD, then mail enabled on premise.
Is there a way in EMC to apply settings to all groups in an OU?
The only way I can think of is to write powershell that runs daily to make sure the settings are correct.

The settings you appear to want to change aren't things that a policy will affect - in order to hide items from lists or in the GAL, you need to run the command on the item itself. That being said, you can run the following to collect all distribution
groups on an OU and use the results to apply settings to them:
Get-DistributionGroup -OrganizationalUnit <full OU name> | % { make setting changes here }
The make setting changes here spot can be replaced with
Set-DistributionGroup $_.Name -AcceptMessagesOnlyFrom <list of approved senders> -HiddenFromAddressListsEnabled:$True in order to do some of what you mention.
As for hiding the distribution group membership, while this was an option in Exchange 2003, it was removed in Exchange 2007 and is not available in Exchange 2010. Here is a link showing an unsupported way to do it directly, but since it is unsupported,
if you have issues, you will need to change this to prove it was not causing the issue.

That being said, if you create a two groups, you can mimic this capability by doing the following:
Create your security group, then set it as a distribution group
Create a second distribution group whose sole member is this security group
Hide both groups from the GAL
Give your list of end users the ability to send to the distribution group, and the security group
Do NOT give them the security group, so that while they are on the list that is allowed to send to the security group, they will never send to it directly
Configured this way, the users will send to the distribution group, but can't see either it or the security group in the directory. Since they can't resolve the security group, and since they aren't directly addressing it, they won't be able to determine
its membership in Outlook. Additionally, since the messages won't have the security group in the To: line, they won't be able to reply to the message and see the security group to click the
Expand Distribution Group plus sign. Keep in mind, this is only "security through obfuscation" - if your users open the group in ADUC, they may still be able to determine its membership.

How to only synchronize one specific LDAP user group with SAP?

Hopefully this is the correct forum to post this in. I want to have continuous one-way synchronization of users from my LDAP server to my SAP central system. I've started configure in SAP using transaction SM59 and LDAP. Can I somewhere set that only one specific LDAP user group shall be transferred to SAP (they do not need to be assigned to any specific group, profile, role in SAP) - or should this be done on the LDAP server side (or is it at all possible)?
Correct me if I'm wrong, but the User Group field in the report RSLDAPSYNC_USER only concerns SAP user groups right? This would therefore not be sufficient since I want to select the users to synchronize based on user groups in the directory.

We've used a repository constant to specify the LDAP filter for reading users / groups from the LDAP target.
E.g. LDAP_FILTER_USERS (&(objectCategory=person)(objectClass=user))
Then we also have a constant for the LDAP_STARTING_POINT
For our AD Group Initial Load we filter according to these settings:
LDAP_FILTER_GROUPS = (objectclass=group)
LDAP_STARTING_POINT_GROUPS = ou=IDMManagedGroups,ou=Groups,dc=cfstest,dc=le,dc=ac,dc=uk
The above example only reads AD groups starting at the specified OU
Then in a Job From LDAP Pass the LDAP URL looks like this:
LDAP://%$rep.LDAP_HOST%:%$rep.LDAP_PORT%/%$rep.LDAP_STARTING_POINT_GROUPS%?*?SUB?%$rep.LDAP_FILTER_GROUPS%

"Group cannot be used" in cj40 tx

Dear all,
Need your help in to resolve this issue.
I am trying to do cost planning using the tcode CJ40 and am following the steps mentioned below,
1) I created a cost element group in KAH1. All the cost elements have been created in the same controlling area and i have checked the validity of these cost elements.
2) I assigned this cost element group in transaction OPSB.
3) Now ,when i am executing transaction CJ40 and clicking on the Primary Costs button i am getting following error
"Group cannot be used
Message no. K8001
Diagnosis
Group has not been created in controlling area for the characteristic used, neither does it exist as a node within the group.
System Response
The SAP System rejects the row/column structure for group .
Procedure
1. Create group with the group maintenance transaction.
2. Or, correct the name of the group in planning layout or in the initial screen for planning."
