go through these steps,i have got it from someone from the community
1. Run the trx SICF.
2. Click on the find button.
3. Enter the service name(it'll generally be same as the BSP application name). For PCUI framework application, search for CRM_BSP_FRAME.
4.Right click on the service found and activate/de-activate the serive as per your requirement.
5. To activate the system breakpoint , go to Edit->Debugging->Activate debugging.

Settings for BW BEx web link

Dear Friends,
We have just migrated the BW 3.5 server to a higher end server.
The host name had to be changed in the process due to which the BEx Web link (It is a default web link to access queries, not an Enterprise Portal link) is not accessible. I want to know where all I need to make changes to make it work.
The old link was
http://dicbwprd:8000/sap/bw/BEx
In this server dicbwprd is changed to bwprd and the port is changed to 8100.
If I just replace them in the internet explorer, it does not work: - http://dicbwprd:8000/sap/bw/BEx
I tried locating settings in SICF but no success.
Please help.

SALO_EMAIL_IN_CASE_OF_ALERT_V2 not working however...

This is for Solution Manager 4.0/7.0
I am setting up an auto-reaction method to send emails when alerts come up in CCMS. I have gotten SALO_EMAIL_IN_CASE_OF_ALERT to work, but I want to use the additional functionality in SALO_EMAIL_IN_CASE_OF_ALERT_V2 but I can't get the auto-reaction to fire an email when using this function module.

only in central system triggered by CCMS in place of periodically in dialog process is assigned automatically when the assignment is done in RZ21.
execute method on : any server.
and did you create this method under the RZ21 --> technical infrastructure > assign central auto-reactions> create central auto-reactions, (with or with out template)
check for SAPConnect settings in SICF. if its activated properly.

Ressource file LM00 99 does not exist

Hi all,
I am getting an error while running LM00 in internet service in tcode se80.
The error is : "Ressource file LM00 99 does not exist"
I have done all the settings in SICF, as given in Raja's blog:
Running your first ITS WebGUI application in SAP NetWeaver 04 ABAP Edition - NSP
and activated all services but still getting an error and not able to execute the code. However other standard tcodes are executing successfully. Only this Tcode Lm00 is not running.
I'd greatful to all of u to solve this issue.

How to call bsp application in workflow and process it...

The requirement is ...
HR as (admin) -- in standard workflow selects apprasiee for 360 degree apprasial process(bsp application developed by me)..
aprasiee selects 10 employees and sends to HR
HR checks the employees list and their relationships
                        if
                  HR satisfies and clicks ok .. email will go to all 10 employees selected by apprasiee with a link
              of 360 degree application developed in bsp..
                  else
           HR says to reselect the employees to apprasiee.
when apprasier completes the form and submits both HR and appraisee gets a note that particular
employee as filled your application..
for this process ... there r standard ones and i have to creare new ones ..
tell me which standard workflows i can use for this and which one to and also how to create a new one...
i hope i can use HR and apprasiee selected by HR can be used as standard ones, which i want to copy and create a new one.

If you want to use a BSP in your workflow, this can fairly easy be done by incorporating your BSP as a webactivity in your own flow or into an existing one. Things to consider when creating webactivitysteps in your workflow are:
- Making settings in WF_HANDCUST.
- Make settings in SICF: here you have to activate the WSHANDLER (pad /default_host/sap/bc/webflow/wshandler) and your own BSP which is somewhere under pad /default_host/sap/bc/bsp/&name_of_your_bsp&
- Make settings in WF_EXTSRV: here you can make settings between the import and export parameters of your BSP and the (future) parameters in your workflowtask. When all these settings are made correctly, you can generate a WF-task with the corresponding button in this transaction (a wizzard will be started). The connection between the task and your BSP will be stored in table SWLWPTSSID.
Try if you can figure it out with these transactions. Good luck!

Internal server error in Requistion create - E-rec 600

Hi All,
We are in process of upgrading the 4.6c to ECC 6.0. E-rec 600 installed in the same box (server).
We wish to use the Requistion management services for creating the RR via the BSP's through WAS.
I assigned assigned manager role (SAP_RCF_MANAGER) to user1 and assigned Recruiter role (SAP_RCF_RECRUITER) to user2
When I run the requisition maintaince application REQ_MNT_LST from user1 and assigned the requistion to the recruiter (user2) every thing goes well.
In the step 9 (creating job postings) the system fails to go ahead and throws exception - Internal server error.
We have already activated this bsp service in tcode sicf and roles are assigned properly.
Is there any additional settings we need to do in spro for Job postings or any more settings in sicf ?
Please help !!! Any help in this regards would be highly appreciated. points assured. Thanks for any inputs in adavance

I would fear that the Internal Server Error is an indication of a more serious error. Have you checked if this is generating a Short Dump (Transaction ST22)? You need to determine the actual root cause of the error, as the Internal Server Error is rather generic. You should also consider opening a support ticket on this error as this sounds more like a support issue.

Sender http adapter - decoding (URL unescape)

PI 7.0
Incoming http request in XI is URL decoded. Currently I am using java mapping to decode it. Is there a way to set any adapter specific properties in sender http adater so that I can avoid the java mapping for decoding. Or any settings in SICF? In other words, how can XI handle encoded http requests?
When XI makes a external http request, I can set a property "Mask Special Charcters (URL Escaping)" in the receiver http adapter. XI will make a encoded http request, meaning the xml will encoded in UT-8.

if we select 10 employess such that the application as to go all 10 employess selected in their ms-outlook.

Web Service client authorization error: HTTP status 401

.NETters,
My .NET client program is invoking a simple "Hello World" Web Service written in ABAP. Here is the code:

The code uses WSE 2.0 framework.
This code works if I edit the properties on WSD service using transaction SICF and specify anonymous login options. However, I would like to pass the user token from the client program itself.
So I removed anonymous login options and supplied the required information programmatically.

svc.RequestSoapContext.Security.Tokens.Add(ut);
However, when I run this code, I get an error: "The request failed with HTTP status 401: Unauthorized"
I then tried supplementing this code with network credentials logic:

cc.Add(new Uri("http://servermachname"), "Basic", new System.Net.NetworkCredential("pradeep", "password", null));
svc.Credentials = cc;
The problem still doesn't go away :-(.
Does anyone have any idea on what is it that I am missing in my code?

In my tests with normal .NET WS client something like the following allways worked:

proxy.PreAuthenticate = true;
proxy.CallMethod();
As your code is very similar, it may be a compatibility problem between WSE and WAS. I would recommend that you use a network snippen and look what really goes over the wire.
I have also seen an issue where the settings in SICF where somehow corrupted (e.g. the fixed credentials checkbock was on, but no credentials where specified). The solution was just to "reset" the settings in SICF.

Survey results not updated to Application

Hi Experts,
I have created a Survey and Questionnaire in SAP-BIW using "SURVEY COCKPIT" (TCODE : SURVEY).
I have than assigned one Target Group to that survey which is having 3 recepients (e-mail ID's).
When I send the Survey to them the mail is deliverd to recepients with survey form as an attachment, but when they are submitting the Questionnaire/Survey the results are not updated into the system.
I have enabled the setting for Questionnaire as Direct Update into Application.
Still the problem persists. I have also done all the required settings in SICF and SO50.
Please help.

For inspection point you need to import SAMPLE_RESULTS also similar to CHAR_RESULTS. A simple method you can adopt is
First create an inspection lot and record this manualy. Once you have recorded it pass the inspection lot to this BAPI - BAPI_INSPOPER_GETDETAIL. Check the data in this BAPI
The same pattern of DATA has to be passed in the BAPI_INSPOPER_RECORDRESULTS
This is BAPI is running fine for me. Please check and let me know if you have any issues

Force a required login in a running wd abap application

how can i force the user to make a login in a running wd abap application.
background: user is loggid in with a default user and has to be forced to use another userid/password.

APP1 requires logon,
APP2 doesnt.
Both apps can call same start plug on WD component IF view.
When event X happens that is to cause login,
tigger a navigation event on Window to call EXIT plug.
Add the parameter "URL" to the exit plug.
This will lauch second application or close of first.
The exit page settings in SICF for APP1 must have JAVA script to remove SSO2
cookie so that default user isnt used to logon to second app automatically.
See google... delete SSO2 cookie
Login prompt should result.

Problems Debugging SRM Web Transaction

Hi,
We are running SRM 4.0 and I am trying to debug the Shopping Cart - Wizard web transaction, and I've tried the following steps:
Login as user ABC (developer user for SAP GUI without and access to the business transcation).
Execute transaction SICF, select service bpsc02. Click Service Data Tab and the button Settings. Add parameter ~GENERATEDYNPRO 1 to service
Execute transaction SE38, Choose Utilities -> Settings -> Debugging Tab. Check the checkbox "Actv." to activate external debugging for our business user XYZ.
Go to ABAP program that implements the object type BUS2121 which runs everytime we create a new shopping cart, set a HTTP-break point for business user XYZ.
Login with business user XYZ and run the shopping cart wizard.
However, whatever I do with the XYZ in the EB web browser - I never get any debugging mode.
Questions:
Any suggestions on what I can change?
Does this approach work with SRM 4.0?
Are there any extra settings in SICF i need to make?
What does the "Activate Debugging" do in SICF?

Odata Issue in Browser

Hello Experts ,
I just want to clarify one thing regarding the Gateway service we developed using a hub approach . As we test our service in Gateway client using standard logon procedure , it is working as expected and showing the result . But when we test the service from Browser IE & Firefox , it is throwing error as “RFC call ended with system failure exception” as shown below. I am just wondering why a service is returning 2 different results . Is there anything related to RFC Destination for http/https which might cause these type of errors ? Do we need to do any other settings in SICF for a service .
Could you please throw some light on this issue .

If you have access to the destination system of the RFC call (and it's an ABAP system), you may also have an ST22 or similar log there that can be investigated. My off-the-cuff guess would be that some parameter is being passed to the RFC function correctly from the GW client and incorrectly from the browser and/or REST client(s) that you're using.

C folder basic doubt

Hello Sap experts,
I am first time working on c folders in my implementation project. I have referred to lot of documents about the purpose of c folders use and other things. But i was not much clear on the same and below are my basic questions,
1) We have here only SAP ECC 6.0 ERP not solution source or netweavers. But we have DMS with KPRO (content server) Can we still go ahead with cfolders.
2) If yes to above question please let me know what are the basic configs i need to do?
3) With reference to answers to above questions, do we need to do settings in SICF activating CF and KW. Will this be enough and will the link work to open externally on internet with SAP log in?
4) Do we need to activate or download anything in specific from market space?

ITSMobile using HTTPS protocol

Hello,
I am new on ITSMobile and I am having issue connecting using https protocol. I keep getting a message on my device MC70 "The Web site you want to view request identification. Select the certificate to use when connecting". Unfortunately I only got a blank box and nothing to choose. When I click OK I only get the previous site I been to and will not get the login screen that I need.
I am using a Symbol MC70 with windows mobile 5.0. All the settings in SICF are okay so with the ports. I appreciate whoever can give help on my issue.

We are having the same issue.
Does anybody have any suggestions? We are using a self-signed certificate.
