Settings in SU3--Maintain User profile

Hi Everyone
I am facing an issue in export transaction
In SU3 we maintain user profile
In default tab we maintain Decimal notation
We have maintained 1,234,567.89 which working for Indian scenario
While doing transaction for Export transaction however when i enter 10,000.00000 USD as invoice value in the o/p it shows as below
10,000,000.00 but while converting into words it is correctly displayed as USD Ten thousand Only
This is because the entry in the table VBRK is going as 10,000,000.00
Is there any other specific setting by which I can change this display as 10,000.00000 in the o/p
Thanks and Regards
Sunil

  • Maintaining user profiles when upgrading from v24 to newest version 36.X - Enterprise

    Hi,
Im going to upgrade the Mozilla Firefox for about 500 users ish. The current version is 24.0 and we are upgrading to the newest version 36.0 something.
But the question is, how do I maintain all of the user settings when doing this upgrade? It is not an option to upgrade using the application itself. We have a centralized Config Mgr 2012 R2 solution. And I need to keep all of the user profiles with bookmarks, saved passwords, etc etc as it is today. The current version they are using have a few restrictions made with predefined and locked prefs in forms of automatic update, homepage, disabling the send data to Mozilla and so on, basically all of the standard enterprise configuration when you want to controll how the browser is for the users.
I've read a few articles on where to find spesific files, and what they are containting of information for the profile. But when doing a uninstall of the current version mozilla also removes whatever is stored in %appdata%\mozilla firefox\...profiles..
Is it even possible to "transfer" profiles for Version 24 to the newest version 36.something? Also, this needs automation, its not an option to manually restore each profile from "backup" for about 500 users. All profiles are unique.
Client computers are running Win 7 - 64bit OS.
    Best Regards

To answer your question, when you update from 24 to 37 (the actual latest version) your profiles will migrate automatically, there should be no action needed on your part. We try to minimize profile breaking changes, so between versions 24 and 37 there is no need to do any special migration (that is only really a need when going from Firefox 3.6 or older to the latest version).
HOWEVER, since you are an enterprise and it looks like you only do upgrades every so often, I'd suggest you look into Firefox for Enterprises. https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/organizations/
This version only updates major versions once a year (so from Firefox 10 to 17, from 17 to 24, from 24 to 31, from 31 to 38) but it comes out with regular security updates every 6 weeks. This way you don't have to continually re-certify Firefox major versions every 6 weeks, and can simply let automatic updates push out security updates to your users every 6 weeks (With your current model your users are vulnerable to all security holes found until you push the next major update). Then, next year, you have a 12 week overlap between versions to test and make sure nothing breaks before you push to the next major version.
There is also a mailing list for you to get help and advice with specific Enterprise issues.
If you decide to go this route (which I would strongly advise) then I'd suggest you wait for a couple of weeks until Firefox 38 comes out, the next ESR version. Then you can certify and not have to worry about deployments until 45 next year!

  • How to reset all Internet Explorer 8 settings for a different user profile?

Sometimes users on locked down PCs that need their IE settings reset to resolved issues such as improper/old cached credentials stored in the browser after a password change etc.  These issues can be resolved by opening
Internet Options, Advanced tab, Reset, Delete All, Reset.
The users cannot do this because the Advanced Tab is hidden by policy.  If an administrator logs in with a different account, of course, anything they change is in their profile and not the user's profile.
Is there some way for an administrator user to log in and access Internet Control Panel settings for a different user's Internet Options so they can reset the browser for a limited user?
We need a more streamlined way to do this instead of needing to either blow away the user's entire Windows profile or else go through the convoluted process of getting the GPO admins to undo the group policy for one user to unhide the tab, have the help
desk reset the browser for the user and then have the GPO admins reapply the original policy.

You can try the following script
Reset Internet Explorer all Setting to default using PowerShell Script
    http://gallery.technet.microsoft.com/scriptcenter/Reset-Internet-Explorer-20f838e7
but this script still launches an interactive interface, you can ask in this form to improve the script to achieve an totally unattended process.

You can create a task schedule to trigger the process. When computer starts or
IE open , the script launches itself automatically.

  • Regional Settings - User Profile Time Zone

The user profile property time zone will only apply to the users My Site. How can you apply that time zone to the web application or site collection? So that a user from San Francisco will see calendar events on the main intranet in PST, rather than
    CST.

    Hi Peter,
Per my knowledge, if the time zone in the user profile is different from the time zone in the site, the time displayed in the site will be in the format based on the time zone setting in user profile.
After changing the time zone in user profile, it needs some time to save the changes back to SharePoint, so there will be some time delay of changing the time format in the site.
Please also make sure that the Always use my personal settings is selected in user profile.
Even though the time zone is not changed in the site, the time format will change based on the time zone setting in user profile if the user chooses a different time zone in his user profile.
    Thanks,

  • How To Properly Delete a User Profile on Windows 7 in a Domain environment

I have not been able to find an answer that matches the issue I'm facing. I had recently setup a laptop for a user and soon after, he was experiencing issues that I thought might be profile related. So, I did what always worked for me on prior versions of
Windows without any fuss or side affects.
Logged in under the local Administrator account, I went into: System Properties>User Profiles>Settings and removed the user profile from their. When I do that, I get an error message:
    Profile Error
Profile not deleted completely. Error - A required privilege is not held by the client
Ok, no problem I think. I just need to delete the user's profile directory under the users folder right? So I do this and figure when I try to log in again as the user that a new profile will be created. However, this is not what happens exactly. I login
with the user credentials and it logs in successfully. However, I get a pop saying:
You have been logged on with a temporary profile
You cannot access your files and files created in this profile will be deleted when you log off. To fix this, log off and try logging on later.
Please see the event log for details or contact your system administrator
So my question is; why did the profile not delete completely after both deleting the user profile under System Properties and after deleting the actual profile directory? What did I miss and what is the proper method of deleting a user profile completely
without running into these other issues?

    Hi Womprat,
According to your description, I understand that you want to delete user profile but display an error in Windows 7.
Please use other user (with administrator privileges) login this computer, then open Properties for Computer--->Advanced system setting--->Settings for User Profiles, then select the profile you want to delete.

  • User Profile Disks - exclusions not working

I'm utilizing User Profile Disks to handle profiles between my Session Host servers. I have some odd requirements on which folders need to be included in the UPD, so for this reason, I am using the option of "Store all user settings and data on the
user profile disk" and then I am trying to exclude specific folders. However the exclusions are not working properly.
For example, I am trying to exclude AppData\Roaming\Adobe. In Server Manager under the profile disk settings, I add an exclusion of \AppData\Roaming\Adobe.
However after I connect to a RemoteApp and my profile disk is created, when I mount the UPD, I see that this folder is still created inside the VHDX. Am I entering the path incorrectly? How would I properly exclude a specific folder from being redirected
    to the user profile disk?

    Hi ,
This issue may occur if the user profile was manually deleted by using the command prompt or by using Windows Explorer and if the “Do not logon users with temporary profiles” Group Policy setting is configured.
A profile that is manually deleted does not remove the security identifier (SID) from the profile list in the registry.
If the SID is present, Windows will try to load the profile by using the ProfileImagePath that points to a nonexistent path. Therefore, the profile cannot be loaded.
To resolve this problem open yourself, follow these steps:
Right click Computer > Properties > Advanced system settings > Advanced tab > Under User Profiles, click Settings > In the User Profiles dialog box, select the profile that you want to delete > click Delete > Apply/OK.
Also check your Synchronization Connection Settings in User Profile Service application also make sure you are running this service application with Service Account i.e. Account with Farm Admin permission.

  • Output type settings; print pdf from on the printer defined in user profile

    Hi
I have a requirement where i should print the pdf form in the printer defined in user profile when i select save in MB1A transaction;  I know this can be done by changing the output type cofiguratioin in the NACE transaction
Could any one please let me know step by step process on how to make changes in the nace transaction to print the form in the printer defined in user profile
Right now we are using a custom output type i tried changing the print parameter to 'S'   and followed the sap documentation
in the sap help doc at last it says to check the table TNADR for the entries
but when i saw the table TNADR i couldnt find any entries related to ME application
It would be great if any one can explain in details regarding the changes in output type configuration , TNADR table and related stuff
    thanks

    Hi,
Just maintain the condition records in NACE transaction.
    Just follow the steps...
    1.Goto NACE transaction
2.Select the application for example for sales order 'V1' and then click on 'Condidtion Record' button
3.Double click on your Zoutput type.
4.U will may get radio button dialogbox/key combination.select anyone and click on ok button
    5.U can see a selection screen..Fill all the filed/fileds.
    6.Click on F8
7.A tabular control appers..fill it. select the mediem as 1(print output).U can see a  'communication' button over there..click on it.
8.Maintain ur own printer settings and click on SAVE button..
Actuallly Condition records contain the actual data against which the business rules are checked to propose an output. Using condition records, we can define Output types, transmission medium for the document type. So that we need not to give all the output parameters every time the document is to be printed. We use the condition records for automatic printing of Invoices when we save it.
It maintains a key combination to process the output automatically whenever a system finds the entry/entries with that key combination. We maintain the values in the condition records only.
    Hope it is useful...

  • Win7 and Reader X - default settings for ALL users/profiles

I have a custom browser/app that opens PDF's within the app which can sometimes cause issues. I found that if I set Reader X to not open in the browser (Edit>Preferences>Internet - uncheck "Display PDF in Browser") that this does resolve most issues. My problem...when changed this only affects the current user/profile that's logged in. Potentially there can be dozens of users on these laptops. The other setting is when opening a PDF, I get the warning about Protected Mode not being able to be used due to the current configuration. I can select "Always open with Protected Mode disabled" and I no longer get the message; but again, current user/profile only.
Is there a way to set these settings for ALL users/profiles? Running Win7 (32bit) with Reader X.

I do not know why you experience this; what exactly happens when a non-admin users attempts to highlight something?
You are talking about highlighting in the same document?

Please let me know if anyone having idea on this. I will reward to you with the valid points.
    Regards
    raghu.

    Hi Raghu,
I have searched and found this information, check it may help you
Check the SY-UNAME with the the name of the Plant
User Plant user data take it from T001W table
and All logon User data will be in USR02 table
take the data from corresponding tables and check.
If you are working in SRM
Use FM BBP_READ_ATTRIBUTES to get the User plant after passing the User ID to the FM.
in SUIM go to Users by Complex Selection criterion.

  • How to auto populte selection screen for variant maintained in User Profile

    Hi,
I have to auto populate selection screen of Custom Report , with the variant maintained in User profile of User .
Helpful answers would be awarded .

    Hi,
use the PARAMETER-ID clausole of the PARAMETERS / SELECT-OPTIONS instructions.
    See help for more informations.
You have to know the parameter id of the field and also the parameters, must be tight to the right data element (example : parameters : p_mara like mara-matnr and NOT parameters : p_mara(18) ).
Otherwise, use "get parameter id" in the initialization event to populate the selection screen.

    Good Afternoon,

Any thoughts to this behaviour please?

    Hi,
How about your problem now? How many system encounter this problem? Is all policy couldn't be applied? Is there any feedback when using gpresult to check policy applied status?
As Group Policy applies after user identity authentication, generally speaking, user logoff and back doesn't helpful with this problem.
When this problem occures, have you checked event log if it identify this problem?

  • How do I recover my lost Firefox bookmarks and user profile settings?

I accidentally clicked on Remove all User Profile Settings, Bookmarks and blahblah when I uninstalled my Aurora and now my Firefox has no bookmark etc. I tried using Recuva as recommended from the other questions but it didn't help me at all. I do not have any backup either.

Will other recovery software help? Because I tried using GetDataBack and I found some files that are not named .sqlite but rather .sqlite-wal or .sqlite-shm. What are those?

  • Inherit user profile settings

    Hi
I need some help to save couple of time managing profile settings for every user in our Agency. We use 10.6 Server, 10.6 on the clients and the Adobe Design Standard CS5. To use Adobes CS5 in a good way, many settings need to be stored in the users profile (like GREPs, printer joboptions, color profiles, etc.). Seperate from the huge time amount to configure every user on its own, it is more than possible to forget some important preferences. Is there any way to inherit from a adobe well formed user profile?
Thanks for your suggestions and btw. ... sorry for my bad english
