Settings Mobile Data is not editable

I accidentially activated mobile data but do not have a sim card. Now is the menu Mobile data inactive and I cannot deactivate the service again. Please help

You might want to try downloading the settings automatically to the device.
Menu > Settings > More > Internet Settings > Accept Disclaimer > Choose network.
Once done try using the Internet.

Does the iOS device connect to other networks? If yes that tend to indicate a problem with your network.
Does the iOS device see the network?
Any error messages?
Do other devices now connect?
Did the iOS device connect before?
Try the following to rule out a software problem:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on your router
.- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
- iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
- Wi-Fi: Unable to connect to an 802.11n Wi-Fi network
- iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem and it does not connect to any networks make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

WIFI and mobile data connections not connecting with any other outside WIFI networks. Bluetooth not working in car. Any solution?

After installed iOS7 I am facing the following two problems:
1. WIFI as well as mobile data connection are working fine at my home. But, not connecting with any other outside WIFI networks. Error message is 'unable to join network'. Mobile data also not connected outside my home. Sometimes wifi and mobile data connect outside my home when I turn off and on the phone.
2. Bluetooth, in my car, paires well and incoming and out going calls can be received and made. The problem is no sound out put from speakers.
Apple please make note of the above problems (of million people) and give solution before giving any other updations for painting and tinkering the screens.

IPhone 4s mobile data does not stay turned off.

I have an iPhone 4s running iOS 7.1.2. When I go into the mobile settings and turn off the mobile data on my applications that I don't want to use my mobile data for, when I exit out of the settings and go back in, they have been turned back on. I've tried a hard reset and doing a reset and then putting the back up back on the phone and none of it seems to help. Its already cost me an additional $40 on my last phone bill because the settings didn't stay off and my songs auto downloaded even though I had the settings turned off.
If there is a fix other than having to reset and not use my backup I would love that, as nothing else I seem to try works.

Clean the iPhone charging port with a clean dry toothbrush.
If still problem, iPhone 4S has full Warranty, make Genius Reservation and take iPhone to Apple for resolution.

GL Opening Balance Due Date Column not Editable

Hi Experts,
I am about to enter GL Opening balances for a new company I just created,I have created posting periods from January 2007 to date, I want to post an opening balance to 31 december 2007, I am able to enter the posting date but the due date (01.01.08 by default) is not editable,I want to change the due date to be the same as posting date(31.12.07) how can I achieve this ?

Hi Chiko,
Opening balance is for new period. Therefore, the due date should be in new period. If you can change it to last year, that should be called ending balance for 2007.

Mobile data still not working - after lots of troubleshooting

Hi guys, hope you can help me! Here is my issue:- I can't use mobile data. Google Chrome (and other internet using applications) tells me, that I don't have any internet connection (unless WiFi is turned on). - I haven't got any data symbol (H+, 3g, 4g etc.) next to the network coverage/streng symbol on top of the screen. Extra info: - As i manually search for carriers manually, I see various networks including my own operator (Called CBB in Denmark). It even shows that the chosen operator network supports 3g and 4g.- I can call and send/recieve text messages without any problems. I have tried this:- Rebooting to Safe Mode

- Downloaded internet setting via settings > more > internet settings
- Manually configured APN.

I am converting a batch of old maps from FreeHand to Illustrator, with spread type for the state names: C A L I F O R N I A
In FreeHand, letter spacing can be spread out by dragging the right edge of the type box, or numerically by typing a value in the type dialogue box, in the space marked "A\V ____% em value." CALI... is defalt; you can go quite wide C A L I... is about 500%
Having imported the maps into Illustrator, I am unable to adjust these labels to my desired spacing (the client is having me change the fonts, so spacing needs adjusting). I also find I am unable to make a type style where I can adjust the letterspacing by any useful amount.
In Illustrator's Character Styles dialogue box, A\V is for kerning individual letter pairs; it doesn't let me set anything on a series of letters; it says to "use tracking (A V)." The tracking values for a typical, spread out state name is 100%. (Default for normal type is 0%). I can use the arrows to select from -100 to 200% or type in my own values within this range; hardly anything happens. The letters shift a little bit. Every so often I need to radically shrink the tracking or default to a "normal" tracking and restyle completely, but I'm stuck with the actual tracking being very wide on type brought into AI this way.
On a normal place name label (Golden Gate Bridge), the value for A V letterspacing is 0%, and choosing a value from -100% to 200% barely shifts the letter spacing either (certainly not as wide as my state names). Every so often I'd like to stretch a label much wider than it is; again, no can do.
I can find no other setting in Character or Paragraph styles that has any effect on letter spacing.
So it's as if there's some other letter-spacing setting that Adobe recognizes but won't let us get at.
Does anybody have any ideas?

Judy you are not thinking straight. This is not about how to do this
in FreeHand this about how you would do it in Illustrator
character and paragraph styles are the way to go for a map.
If you do not see the logic to this then how does one communicate the
reality of this, the question here is how to make this work for the OP
in Illustrator the Op is moving on.
Once they have their paragraph styles set up they will they can change
it lie crazy if they wish I one click and that would be the whole
entire map.
It might be a little work at first but that is because the FH type
engine does not allow for the kind of export that works well with
other programs it was designed to work alone and illustrator was
designed to work with layout programs
and the like.
And so you see it differently and your advice to the Op would be what
don't move? or what?
I really think it is out of place that you are beating this poor dead
horse, it is dead.
Help the OP move on.

Mobile data key Not working properly

I have owned both c3 and e4. In both maximum 3 to 4 only it is working. Afterthat I need to be restart my device. I think this will be solved in next updates.

Release Date in Get Info always 6/5/1905 and not editable?

In Get Info, in the new iTunes, the Release Date is not editable. However, when downloading books and importing into iTunes, the Release date is always 6/5/1905. Now I don't think either music or books or anything likely to be downloaded was released in 1905, so, why is the field not editable?

Actually I never noticed a field called "Release Date" in Get Info of previous versions, only Year. And there is no Release Date field shown in any of my music Get Info. If I try to access Get Info for albums, it asks me if I want to "edit information for multiple items." If I click on Edit Items, there is still no Release Date field - just Year.
However, not one of the Release Dates are correct in any of the books, i.e. those imported into iTunes both before and after the latest "upgrade." AND the Release Date column is blank for them all. So what is it for, anyway?
It is a pity that, if it isn't editable, it should be able to be removed or added depending on the need.
Just found out another weirdness. In the Audiobook List Genre is no longer there. It is in the Playlists, thank heaven, but not in the master list where it really should be. It IS in Music, but not in books. How weird. I hope that is an oversight and will be fixed.

Nokia 701, mobile data & wifi connections not work...

I took my phone to Nokia care center, but now the mobile data is not connecting and the wi-fi is not connection as well.

They may have deleted the Access Point Names (APN's) during whatever procedure was carried out at Nokia Care. To re-add them you can contact your network operator to send you a SMS for your mobile APN. For Wi-Fi, you can scan for available networks and add your Wi-Fi APN back to the destinations folder.

Mobile Data is disabled notification - 32GB WiFi Version - after 5.1.1 update

So I just recieved and installed the OTA update for 5.1.1 on my 32Gb Wifi Z3 compact. Now I have a constant notification on the status bar advising that Mobile Data is disabled. If I click it it takes me to the WiFi Data Usage page - as this is the WiFi only version Mobile Data should not be an option and as such I get no options to control Mobile Data. Any suggestions - or Sony Software Devs if you are reading this please address this issue for the WiFi only versions of the Z3 Compact Tablet. Additional things to try.
Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

Another thing to try - Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.

This issue has been addressed and reported earlier. Unfortunately I don't have any further information.

Since upgrading Iphone to iOS 5.1.1 it does not automatically use wifi internet when wifi is available. It has been draining my mobile data. I can only manually change settings with cellular data everytime I get home. Any other solutions?

Since upgrading Iphone to iOS 5.1.1 it does not automatically divert to my wi-fi internet when wifi is available in my home. It has been draining my mobile data I now have very high bills from my mobile carrier for high data usage. I can only manually change settings in the Network and turn cellular data on and off everytime I get home and leave the home. This is very frustrating as it wasn't a problem until the upgrade. I have spoken to a few people that this has happened to. Has anyone found this problem and does anyone have other solutions?

Steps to take to resolve this issue:
1/ Turn off Wifi
2/ Ensure Mobile (cellular) data is on
3/ Turn iPhone OFF and then ON (re-boot iPhone)
4/ Without turning Wifi on, open an app that requires mobile (cellular) data.
5/ The app will now show on the Settings list with the option to enable or disable mobile (cellular) data
6/ In time all apps that require or use mobile data will be added to the list automatically.
