Settings of the Tabel BWOM_SETTINGS
Hello experts,
We're having some issues regarding to the 0FI_GL_4 extractor.
We're only able to update record to the previous day.
Is there any way to update the records in BW to the time that the extractor is running?
Based on your experience, can you tell us what are the main problems with the extraction of the most current data?

Hi Rui,
1. This is a time stamp table which is used in Delta extraction.It serves as loading history of items. It also provides defined restart points following incorrect data requests.
2. The data we extract via 0FI_GL_4 is transaction data .In case the postings are getting created in R/3 side and at the same time you are extracting that data too then you may miss some of the critical transaction data .
3. It is suggested that their should be at least 30 min safe interval between postings in R/3 and extraction in BW .In case you miss some of the postings you will not be able to do correct reporting and the data that will be lost cannot be recovered without resetting time stamp and repeating delta loads again for that duration .
4. You can change the time stamp setting by BWOM2_TIMEST report program .

Why doesn't alternating fillings in my tabel style apply to the tabel?
I have imported tabels from word and excel, successfully created a tabel style and a number of cell styles in Indesign. In my tabel style I have it set to alternate the filling of the rows in terms of 20% and 75% of one and the same colour. What first confuses me is that the cells I want this to apply to all belong to the same cell style - let's call this one Content cell. I also have Row title cell style and Tabel title cell style for instance. The latter two, both have a different colour than the Content cell style, and thus should not alternate. Now, in the Content cell style I can also choose a filling - but here I'm not given the option to be able to alternate fillings. So for the rows to alternate, first question, what should I fill in? No colour? The colour I want on 100%?
(sorry for not having the english set on these screenshots, it's Dutch, I hope you still can figure out the settings)
Second, if I go to Tabel > Tabel options > Alternate fillings - it looks like this:
If you look on the first setting, to the left where it says "Tint:", it's empty, where the Tint to the right says 75%.
I set the left 'Tint' to 20%, OK. Nothing happens in my tabel, plus when I go back (tabel > tabel options > alternate fillings)
it's still blank (as above). I'm also not sure whether I should tick the box "Save local settings" (or "Lokale opmaak behouden") - are those the settings in my Tabel style? Well, I have set that one to:

I'm sure I do something wrong somewhere (i know the program's only doing what i tell it to do - but i can't for the life of it see what I'm doing wrong here. Help please!! I think the problem here is that you've defined and applied the same cell style to all the cells. The fill in the cell style is overriding the alternate fill settings you set for the table overall. -
I wrongly changed the settings on the apps page to the American store. Now I cannot download any updates because I am locked out and need to revert back to the Canadian store, how do I do that
Try going to the bottom of the Featured tab in the App Store app on your iPad and tap on your account id, tap on 'View Apple ID' on the popup and log into your account, and then select the Country/Region section and select Canada.

Back after a brief absence, things look a little bit different.
I'm trying to take a 16 minute mini dv video and compress it for use on the web. I'm interested in any suggestions you may have on settings for the video and audio tracks. I've tried using Sorenson 3 (15 frames, key frames set to automatic, 320 x 240) for video and IMA 4:1 (mono) for audio. The resulting video looked great but the file size came in at about 255 Mb.

I have been unplugging my motu audio interface and then using headphones at work. I have not changed any detailed audio output settings in logic. When I read that the jack might be a problem I tried switching headphones. This actually helped. I am using dre-beats headphones and they seem to be having issues with the mac/jack-(the phasing/panning problems. I can use these headphones with other devices but not the mac. I have to use ipod ear buds and the phasing seems fixed. Hopefully this information is helpful to someone else.
If anyone knows how to correct this issue please let me know its difficult to know what my final mixes are going to sound like and I have had to keep bouncing everything into i-tunes- sync to ipod and then listen in my car radio. -
I am using a Photoshop cs2, and I wonder if it is possible to keep the settings of the guidelines when closing an image, with the actual document ? It would be nice to have the guidelines locked down, I find it than when opening the same or another image, the guidelines are not locked, it is annoying to have to lock them down again. and it would actually be nice, to ba able to give specific directions when placing the guidelines. Can not receive Mac mail -error Outlook cannot find the server. Verify the server information is entered correctly in the Account Settings, and that your DNS settings in the Network pane of System Preferences are correct. Account name: "MacMail"
What are the correct mail account settings and more importantly the correct DNS settings

You cannot use .mac or MobileMe as type of Account, you have to choose IMAP when setting up, otherwise Mail is hard coded to change imap.mail.me.com to mail.me.com & smtp.mail.me.com to smtp.me.com, no matter what you try to enter.
iCloud Mail setup, do not choose .mac or MobileMe as type, but choose IMAP...
On second step where it asks "Description", it has to be a unique name, but you can still use your email address.
IMAP (Incoming Mail Server) information:
• Server name: imap.mail.me.com
• SSL Required: Yes
• Port: 993
• Username: [email protected] (use your @me.com address from your iCloud account)
• Password: Your iCloud password
SMTP (outgoing mail server) information:
• Server name: smtp.mail.me.com
• SSL Required: Yes
• Port: 587
• SMTP Authentication Required: Yes
• Username: [email protected] (use your @me.com address from your iCloud account)
• Password: Your iCloud password
Also, you must upgrade your password to meet the new criteria: 8 characters, including upper and lower case and numbers. If you have an older password that does not meet these criteria, when you try to setup mail on your mac, using all of the IMAP criteria listed above, it will still give a server error message. Go to http://appleid.apple.com then follow directions to change your password, then go back to setting up your mail using the IMAP instructions above.

When trying to update my Mail Account Mailbox Behaviours settings, after making the changes when I try to close the settings pane the following messages occur: Invalid Incoming Mail Server The “Incoming Mail Server” field cannot be empty. The incoming mail server box has in light grey colour: p02-imap.mail.me.com in it and I cannot edit its content. Any ideas what is going on and how to fix it?

Mattreichenbach is probably on the right track here with a reset of settings. I think I've determined the issue has to do with cached account information and inconsistencies for the account name. This seems to crop up when I've changed my password and it hasn't propagated fully to all the servers, devices, certificates, etc.
Hopefully many here are on their way to restoration of service by now but it's clear that a lot of people are having the same issues. Very frustrating and definitely something Apple needs to resolve: incoming mail server field grayed out, incorrect autopopulation of different fields, other unanticipated behaviors. If you're still having issues, though, here's what worked for me...
First, head to the iCloud preferences pane in System Configuration and choose "Sign Out". When I did this it prompted me with a number of "are you sure" type questions about retaining information on my local machine. I chose to delete/remove the info each time simply because it should all be restored by the cloud and I didn't want to risk a massive duplication of my data... I will say, I'm back up and running with no issues so I suspect you can make the same delete/remove choices... But use your own judgment. I don't want you to lose any data (ie.. please use care as you do this because I cannot bear the thought of causing anyone to experience the pain of data loss).
Once you've signed out of iCloud, restart your system. When you get back in, head to the Mail, Contacts and Calendars section of your System Preferences and add your account back by choosing the brushed aluminum "iCloud" button. When it asks for your account name, use your @iCloud.com email address. I am all but certain my issue had started because one of my devices (iPhone or whatever) had been set up with an email alias specified instead of my @iCloud.com address.
Apple, if you're reading through any of these issues (there are TONS of users having this same problem). Take note, that your icloud service somewhat frequently is not responding and yet tells the user that the password is wrong and this prompts people to be changing their passwords unnecessarily. This has happened to me on numerous occasions. Also, I noticed that last week's outage corresponded to a VERY similar outage exactly one year ago to the day. Sounds like planned maintenance to me and I think you could do a better job notifying folks so we're not wasting HUGE amounts of time troubleshooting a problem that we have no hope of fixing.

Changing the default download settings in the excel.
Hi All,
Is there any methodology to change the default settings of the download of a report to a excel file. Because when I try to download reports having pivoted chart view it tends to hide the titles. I have added the padding but no luck. It is taking the default settings.
Is there any xml file where we change those properties?

To solve my problem I am going to use that method (Create a new file @ startup, see if it exists, and if it does not exist then it is the first time running) and tweak it a little to solve my exact problem.
I need to be sure that the application is being run after installation (from the installer), because the user MAY select "do not run after install", in which case the first time they try to run the program by opening an associated file, the program will exit, which is not a good first impression to leave on the user.
So I will check if the file exists created and if then i will check if arguments (file name) is being passed.
1. If a file name argument is passed I'll create the file and continue running to program. - First time run, but not from installer.
2. If no argument is present and it is the first time, I will shut down immediately with no message. - First time running/run from installer.
3. If no argument is present and file exists, exit with error (file needed). - Not the first time run, but no argument passed.
4. If argument exists and and file exists, run program. - Normal execution. -
I have an iphone 4 and an ipod touch on the same apple ID. My daughter who uses the ipod tried to change the apple ID on the ipod to be the same with her apple ID on her own Iphone so that she can use facetime on both devices. Not sure what she did but my 3G connection is no longer working.
Changing Facetime settings on an iPod will have no affect on cellular settings on an iPhone. Something else is going on there. If she did not change any settings on the phone, then nothing she did could affect your celluar 3G.

we have 2 I phones and when I tried to sync my I phone to the computer for a back up(have only 1 account) i lost all my phone contents and my phone has all the contacts/messages etc of my daughter's phone. I had ok'd to "restore settings" in the process. How do get all the contents/contacts of my phone back?
Correct. When you update via iTunes all synced media that is not in your iTunes library will be lost.

On my ipod touch, i can't seem to get the imessage app.. I have updated my itunes and even restored the ipod to factory settings with the latest update. Maybe the ipod is too old? Is that even a thing? Is there another app I can download to have access to my contacts with imessage?
That comes with iOS 5 (Settings>General>About>Version) and only the 3G abd later iPods can go to iOS 5 or later

where can I change the font settings for the name of the month in iPhoto's calendar project? I just ordered two copies of a calendar I designed in iPhoto and was surprised to find that the calendar's months were printing in something like an Arial 10 pt font. On previous calendars I've printer via iPhoto and Apple, the font was much larger. I've tried every menu option in iPhoto and the Calendar Project program and can't find where this is modifyable. Which leads me to ask, what the heck happened here in the first place? I did not consciously change the default.
I do remember that I got some notice when I first tried to print the calendar about the default font having been changed, but I don't know how this could have happened, and I didn't know what impact that had on the calendar until it was delivered. I typically print about a dozen annual calendars but won't buy another until I've got a handle on this problem. For the most part, the rest of the calendar is okay.
As a P.S. is there anywhere where one can get a power user's manual, or instruction on iPhoto?

(It could be a different matter if you are uploading the jpeg files for someone to download from the web to print.)
What are the sequence of steps that you and your batch processing take from Bridge?
You can use call Photoshop's Image Processor from Bridge to create the jpeg files (Tools > Photoshop > Image Processor). In the Image Processor you can set jpeg compression, pixel dimensions if desired, also convert to sRGB (good idea for web display). In my experience the image processor leaves unchanged whatever dpi is set in the source file; or, if none there as might be for a pdf, it will set the dpi value in your New Document Preset Print Resolution (from your Photoshop Units & Rulers preferences).
