Settings tells me it can't verify my email see email for message how to set but I get no email

I get a message "photo stream cannot find iCloud account iCloud" there are buttons for "ignore" if I choose that it sometimes just brings up the error message again and crashes the app I'm in. Other button says "go to settings" if I choose that settings says it cannot verify my email and says a message has been sent to my email on how to set up iCloud. But I never get the email. In the Apple account site it shows my secondary email is verified but I can't verify my main email it won't send me the vermiform message. What to do?

Where are the attachments stored, locally (on your computer) or on the Web (Flickr, for example) ??

Check your list of home pages to see if a home page is causing the problem. You can try changing your home page to see if that helps - [[How to set the home page]].
Another possible cause is an extension or theme causing the problem. Try the procedure in the [[Troubleshooting extensions and themes]] article.

  • Windows Store App can't verify the server is trusted for your sign in address

I am aware this is (or was) an issue for the Lync 2013 client as well, as per
    http://terenceluk.blogspot.ie/2013/04/signing-into-lync-2013-client-presents.html
This does seem to be fixed at this stage though, because after adding lyncdiscoverinternal.SIPdomain.com the Lync 2013 client does not prompt about the certificate.
However, the Windows Store app does prompt "Lync can't verify that the server is trusted for your sign-in address. Connect anyway?" This presumably boils down to the same issue where our Lync 2013 Frontend is lyncfrontend.internal.domain.com which
    does not match the SIPdomain.com.
Is there a fix for this other than forcing lyncdiscoverinternal to the reverse proxy? The TrustModelData registry key only applies to the Lync 2013 full client so does not affect the Windows Store app.
    Any suggestions would be welcome.

    Hi wagenveld,
Create the DNS records as below:
    Internal SIPdomain.com zone:
    DNS A record:
    lyncdiscoverinternal.SIPdomain.com-> sip.SIPdomain.com
    DNS A record:
sip.SIPdomain.com-> IP address of Front End Server
For details, you can refer to the following blog:

  • I can't verify an email address for my Apple ID.

It is an ID I've had forever, that most of my iTunes and iPhone app accounts are linked to. After I updated to iOS7 (last night) now it won't recognize my yahoo email. I go to the manage my account site and click "verify this address" and nothing happens - the progress bar goes, but no email is sent for verification. I tried from my phone and from a MacBookAir. Ideas? Thx!

try another web browser then contact apple they may have something wrong with the account.

  • How can I change the settings such that the phone does not vibrate when I receive a message in silent mode, but vibrates for calls?

I'd like the phone to vibrate when I receive a call when it is in silent mode (as it already does) but I'd like it to not vibrate when I receive a text in silent mode. I know how to set both (calls and texts) to not vibrate in silent mode, or choose no vibration for texts when loud or silent, but not what I just mentioned. Thanks.

Try this - Settings > Sounds > Text Tone > Vibration (at the top) > None.
Edit - just read the last part of your post closer and I'm not aware of such an option.

  • TS4009 i have the "not enough storage" message on my iPad but cannot get to settings.  It seems like the ipad is locked.

I have the "not enough storage" message on my ipad but nothing happens when I press the "close" or "settings" option.  It is like the ipad is locked.

    Reset iPad
Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears
Note: Data will not be affected.

  • New macbook pro mail can't verify comcast email; what's up??

Just got a new macbook. Downloaded os mavericks all day. Now I'm trying to set up my email accounts. Got stuck when mail couldn't verify a comcast.net account. Username and password were all correct (I logged to my account thru browser and it all worked fine.) Started chat with online comcast support, which lasted hours, changing ports, checking various settings. Eventually, I just deleted the account and started over.  But the same thing happens.  The error message says the account username and password can't be verified. When I got to sys preferences, I am forced to click "OK" after typing in the password, which cycles  back to the error message. When I click "cancel," the info disappears; I start typing my info, but as soon as I tab to the next box, the previous line I typed disappears.  I can't manually enter anything.  And I can't get my mail.
What is going on, Apple??  THe comcast tech said there were other people experiencing problems since mavericks update.

I bought a logictech external superdrive. On the packaging it said it was compatible with mac and pc. I haven't had a problem.

  • TS4185 i signed into face time with an inactive email accidentally and i can't verify the email because I can't get into it. Is there anyway to restart the process with a different email address so that I can verify it and begin using it.

I tried to start face time and it said that it would send an email to the address provided but i didn't realize that the email address there was an inactive one and now i cant use face time since i havent verified it yet. I was trying to see if there was a way to restart the process so that i can get  that email sent to the corrent email address that i actually use.

If there is no other way around this, is there anyway to completely wipe the phone then??
The Apple store agreed to give me a new iPhone 4 as a warranty replacement for $150 (I travel a lot and I have a factory unlocked phone, so this is still worth it for me).  But before I trade it in, I would like to make sure all my data is backed up on the device first.
When I try and restore the phone now on iTunes, it says I have to turn off Find My iPhone on the phone first before I can restore it.  Now since I can't use the screen I can't really do that.
So how do I completely wipe the iPhone???
    Thanks!

  • I get "We can't verify who created this file" for every PPT or PPTX file I open on my local network (Win 7 only, not Win 8)

I've searched around, and perhaps I've missed it, but I have a specific problem that just started today (4/1/2014).  I have 3 PCs in a local home network and they all have been sharing things fine so far.  PC1 is my main storage computer (Windows
7), another is a laptop (Windows 7) and a third is a laptop (Windows 8.1).
On the Windows 7 laptop, when I open Windows Explorer and navigate my way to a file I want to open (which is stored on PC1) and double click on the file to open it USED to just open using the right program (PowerPoint2007) which I have fully installed on
the Win 7 laptop.  Note also that "Microsoft Office (2010)" came pseudo-loaded on the laptop, but I have set the default for all PPT and PPTX files to be opened using PowerPoint2007.  I've had a few hiccups in the past where this undesired,
not-fully-loaded version tries to get in the way of me opening files with PowerPoint2007, but right now all files are set to open using PowerPoint2007.
So I'm not going on the internet, I'm not using IE, and this is only happening with PPT and PPTX files and only on my Win 7 laptop.  DOC/DOCX and XLS/XLSX files open fine with the 2007 version of the Word and Excel respectively.  All files, including
the PPT and PPTX files on PC1 are openable without trouble on the Win8 laptop with PowerPoint2007.
Any idea why this would suddenly start happening?

Sorry, I should have said that I'm having this issue on Win7 Enterprise SP1 and not XP.
I'm having trouble understanding how cacheing is related to how windows resolves this security violation, and why changing the Internet's custom security settings makes the caching problem go away? You are correct in that running a mdb file from
the desktop does not produce the warning; however this is a database housed on a shared drive so that the database is accessable to other users...
unfortunately unblock is not presented as an option in the file properties, and even if it was that seems a bit impractical to do for every single zip file on a share drive which would accumulate more files as multiple users add to it.
Also: I have two computers with the same settings in both the trusted sites and the Launch apps, but one opens fine and the other does not.

  • Hey guys! I went to Mexico over spring break and messed up my email settings. Now I can't send any emails what so ever, but I can get them. It says that an outgoing mail server smpt.live has failed. So...I need help! I haven't sent an email since march!

    #emailhelp

Check the outgoing mail server setting. Make sure that your username and password are in there.
Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars>Your email account>Account>Outgoing mail server - tap the server name next to SMTP and check in the primary server and make sure your username and password are entered and correct - even if it says that the password is optional.
