Settling plan values from Order to Contract

I'm creating a Service Order against a Service Contract.  This service order does not have any revenue, but only costs.  When I create the order, I enter the components and other costs required.  This is considered as planned costs.  Later, I book actuals and then settle the same to Contract.
When I settle, only the actual costs are moved to the contract.  Plan costs show zero.  So if I run KKAC or S_ALR_87013104 reports, the planned costs column shows zero in the settled items.
How to get the planned costs to settle to the contract?
Ravi.

Hi Friends,
I am facing a similar issue.
We have a process where we create a service order and plan costs on the order.
Later a contract will be created with billing plan. The contract is assigned to service order manually.
After actual costs are booked to the service order the same is settled to Contract.
When I run RA for Contract I dont see the planned costs so the POC is giving correct results.
I am not sure where exactly the issue is. Could you please explain what you meant by settlement of plan values also?
Should I map the settled values in RA line iD to SET?
Thanks in Advance,
Vamsi

  • Missing billing plan value in header of contract

We are using billing plan, but we don't see the value in the header for the contract.
Though we can see the correct values of the billing plan on item level. Are there any customizing steps we have overlooked?
Please take a look at picture
    <a href="http://img144.imageshack.us/img144/1849/missingbillingplanxd8.jpg">Missing billing plan value</a>

    Hi,
We can maintain plans at header level and item level.
If you enter billing dates/values at item level, system will not copy values to header.
If you enter billing dates/values at header level, it will copy values to item.
    Eg.
    1) Item level billing plan
You have 2 items in one sales order, and maintained different  billing dates and values for each item.System will not copy values to header.
    For same scenerio :
    2) Header level billing plan
If you maintain blilling dates at header level, system will automatically distrubute dates and values  for both the line items.

Whether it is needed to consider BEKNZ in totalling this ?

  • Planned Values Missing from report S_PL0_86000029

Planned Values Missing from report S_PL0_86000029, how to rectify this?
Where to plug in the values?

it's Plan actual comparison in the Profit and Loss Financial Statement.
This Transaction Code is for Profit Loss Statement whereby the Planned values have to be seen.
But one thing, I have also deleted the planned values from the General Ledger and Profitability Analysis.
Need to get these Planned values. But from Where?
Deleting GL Planned values - GLDE
    Deleting COPA values - KEDB
This is what I have used.

  • COPA Plan values not appearing in report

    Hi
I posted COPA Plan values using KEPM and line items are appearing in KE25 but no values are not being appeared in COPA line item report we created using report painter. We used KE94 and KE91.
Actual values appearing correctly in report.
    Any help??

Check if you have Plan/Act indicator maintained correctly with the plan value. If it shows up in other reports, I don't see any reason why it will not show up here. I would also check other parameters entered in the report and see if any other characteristic is preventing plan values from populating.

  • How can I see planned values for services in PS reports?

    Hi experts.
We are implementing PS for a mining company; in our process, project designers plan materials and services in networks and then get planned values for budget requests.
The problem I am facing is that I cannot see the planned values from services in the plan values reports. No value is exhibited for version 0 if I plan only services in a network. For materials planning I can visualize planned values normally. The network is not released. On example of planning values report that I am using is s_alr_87013533.
Does anyone know how to correct this problem with PS configuration?
    Any help is welcome. Thanks!
    Rafael

for planning services I am assuming that you are using service activity
check if determine plan cost is set up in the network header
secondly make sure that the plan costing variant is set up with the valuation variant  to define where to get the plan values from

  • Copying Plan Values

    Hi All,
We wish to copy plan values from one cost center to multiple cost centers...
When we execute Copy Data Manager Package - We cannot specify one cost center in source and multiple in target...Hence we need to execute the DM package thrice...
Any better way to meet this requirement?

    Hi Shibu,
This is a limitation in the standard Copy DM package.
You might want to create a script logic to handle this kind of copy and call this script through a DM package.
    Hope this helps.

  • Sales order - show total plan costs (from production order) on sales order

    Hi all,
    I have the following question/scenario:
We create prodction order to collect cost (hours) for a service. There exists also a material master for this service.
The confirmed hours are posted on the production order and then setteld to the respective sales order (settlement rule SDI).
What to I have to maintain/customize to show the total plan cost (for the service) on gthe sales order?
If I check the sales order via VA03 --> environment --> cost report , I can see the planned sales revenue but no planned costs?
(the actual value flows work so far, postings via settlement or billing document).
I hope the topic is understandable. Any ideas?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi
Planned costs from prod order can not show on sale order.. Both are 2 separate entities in their own respects
Unless you calculate sales order cost estimate on your sales order, you cant see planned costs on sale order...
To calculate sale order cost estimate, make settings in your requirement class...
    1. Go to procurement tab of sale order
    2. See whats the requirement type
    3. Go to IMG > Controlling > Prod cost Contr > Cost Obj Contr > Prod Cost by Sales Order > Control of Requirements
    4. Here you can see mapping of req type to req class....
    5. If you want to have sales order costing and have sales order as CO object inorder to have sales order wise profitability, you should have following settings in Req class...
    >Acct Assignment Category should be E
    >Costing: Either Blank or X
    >Costing Id and Costing Method: As per your requirement

  • Purchase Order and Contract - controlling overall value

Our process has the following steps - The total amount in the order to the vendor is fixed. Indivdual services have rates fixed, but quantities are not fixed ie, the quantity can vary from 0 to any upper number subject to the overall value of the order. I tried the following:
Created a contract (ME31K) with the services and rates entered (quantity kept as 1). Overall value entered as the contract limit. PO created (ME21N) and Contract details and overall limits entered. Service items adopted from the contract and the 'No Limit' box checked for individual services. All service quantities maintained as 1 no, rates copied from contract.
With this my expectation was that the system will allow multuiple service entry sheets for each of the services upto the limit specified by the contract. However the system allowed Service Entry for value exceeding the overall limit of the contract.
What other configuration needs to be done to make sure that beyond the overall value limit, system does not allow service entry.
Thanks in advance for your help
    Deepak

    You say that
    1. you have created the contract with overall service limits.
    2. you now referred this contract and created the PO
PO created (ME21N) and Contract details and overall limits entered. Service items adopted from the contract and the 'No Limit' box checked for individual services. All service quantities maintained as 1 no, rates copied from contract.
Please remove the No limit check and keep only the value in contract limits. The system would then force you to enter the additional value in unplanned services during SES creation. The same applies when you are using Other Limits (Mentioned limit in other Limits tab in PO creation)
If it does not work, check message settings for message # SE 347, 364, 365 & 366.
If it still does not work, please open an OSS message to SAP.
    Thanks & regards

  • How to know an order number from the service contracts table

    Hi all,
I want to know how the order entry module and service contracts module are connected. I mean to ask if a service is placed as an order for purchase how do i get the information about the order_id or order_number from the service contracts table.
please point me in a direction so as to which tables i should be lookling at.
    Thanks.

Try OKC_K_REL_OBJS table. The column JTOT_OBJECT1_CODE contains values 'OKX_ORDERHEADER' or 'OKX_ORDERLINE' and the column RTY_CODE = 'CONTRACTSERVICEORDER'. The column OBJECT1_ID1 should store order HEADER_ID or LINE_ID based on JTOT_OBJECT1_CODE value. Hope this helps.

  • Convert planned orders in contracts

    Hi.
When running MRP, It seems that is only possible to create Purchase requisitions, schedule agreement divisions or planned orders. I need that the MRP output goes to a contract.
Does anyone know if itu2019s possible to do it directly from MRP run?
Or perhaps there is some BAPI or user program to convert planned orders in contracts.
Appreciate the help I can get!
    Best regards

It's not possible in standard, you may try to find if there is such BADI or user-exit available
    1.  Start transaction SE81
    2.  Expand the branch for the component you wish to search e.g PP-MD-BOM
, then select the entire subtree (F9)
    3.  Goto Environment  >Repository Information System  >Selected
        Packages
    4.  Select the option Objects->Enhancement->
         Business Add-ins or Customer exits->
Double click on the Definations or Enhancements
    5.  Execute (F8)
A list of user exits (enhancements) for the selected component will be
    displayed.

MRP is an operative planning mechanism. If you want to be more efficient in purchasing and bypass the PO path, the alternative would be using Scheduling Agreements.
Nevertheless, normal MRP cannot be used to trigger the creation of SAs. This is a strategic purchasing job, and, as a contract, cannot be created from a planned order.
You could use Long Term Planning and Purchasing Info System to get an idea of which SAs are required, but it is mainly a manual process.
Later, after you have the SA defined, you can make MRP create delivery calls in the agreement automatically.
