Setup Acknowledgements in XI 2

Hi,
I am trying to figure out how to setup acknowledgements in XI 2.0.
The help documentatation mentions that the request message must set the acknowledgement requested flag.
It doesn't mention how/where to do this.

Closing this question.
We upgraded to XI 3 so this is not needed.

  • How to setup acknowledgements? Please help!

    Hi Experts,
       I have following scenario.
       IDOC--> XI----> BizTalk
In this scenario, IDOC is sent from SAP R/3 system to XI. XI then sends it to BizTalk using JMS adapter.
Everything works fine and BizTalk also receives the IDOC message. But there is one problem.
When I see the message in SXMB_MONI then I see that there are entries like below:
       Status                                                       |   Ack. Status
Checked flag (Processed Successfully) I   Error Flag (Acknowledgment not possible)
Then when I see the details for this entry I get the following error info where BTS_DEV refers to the receiver BizTalk and SAPSYS refers to the IDOC sender system..
       <SAP:Error xmlns:SAP="http://sap.com/xi/XI/Message/30" xmlns:SOAP="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/"
       SOAP:mustUnderstand="">
      <SAP:Category>XIServer</SAP:Category>
      <SAP:Code area="OUTBINDING">CO_TXT_OUTBINDING_NOT_FOUND</SAP:Code>
      <SAP:P1>,BTS_DEV</SAP:P1>
      <SAP:P2>,SAPSYS,,</SAP:P2>
      <SAP:P3 />
      <SAP:P4 />
      <SAP:AdditionalText />
<SAP:Stack>No receiver agreement found for sender ,BTS_DEV to receiver ,SAPSYS,,</SAP:Stack>
      <SAP:Retry>M</SAP:Retry>
      </SAP:Error>
So, what is the problem? Why am I getting error for acknowledgment?  What is the system trying to do with acknowledgment?
How does acknowledgments work? What do I need to do to prevent getting this error? Do I need to do something in BizTalk to prevent it?
It will be great if somebody can explain this in detail and give me step by step instructions to resolve it.
    Thanks & Regards
    Gopal

    1. What "Service" value i need to give? Will it be BizTalk system or SAP System that sends IDOC?
It is the SAP system which is supposed to receive the IDOC ACK message
    2. What is this "RFC destination" used for? Where does this exist?
RFC destination in SM59 of your SAP system
    3. What is this "Port"? Again what is this used for and where does this exist?

  • Will not save photos from sd card on my ePrint C410A, use XP

Used the HP diagnostic and all hardware is ok.  Wireless is setup, acknowledges pictures but when I try to save them it says I need to install a setup disc.  This was done several months ago but I did it again, just in case and still doesn't work.

    Hi there,
Could you provide the community with a little more information to help narrow troubleshooting? Did we run the print and scan doctor located here or the Hardware Diagnostic Utility located here?

  • Booting from USB Flash Memory Card Reader on RS480M2-IL (Test Results)

I just completed testing my USB Flash Memory Card Reader (see profile) as a boot device and wanted to provide feedback to the Forum.
A UBS Flash card will show-up on the Advanced Bios Features menu, Hard Disk Boot Priority list, when a Flash card is physically present in a card slot.  It showed as "USB-HDD0 : AFT PRO -8MX CF 0" with a 256MB Compact Flash (CF) card for my test.  Using the enter key on the Hard Disk Boot Priority list allows for ordering priority, which was necessary to place the CF Drive before my real Hard Drive for the card to boot.  When the card is removed, it drops from the list.
I initialized my CF card as a DOS system disk using HP's USB Disk Storage Format Tool v2.0.6 for the test.
Since it is recognized as a Hard Drive, it boots as the C: drive, not A/B Floppy alternative.
I also ran a quick test to see if XP Pro Setup would see the drive.  It does show as my D: drive partitioned FAT.  Too small (256MB) obviously for XP Pro install, but it does present opportunity for larger size flash modules.  My Flash Reader actually has 4 different disk functions/slot groups, so XP Setup acknowledge the presents of those empty three slot groups as "Unknown Disk" on the drive list.
I hope the information is useful for anyone planning a build or looking for alternative boot methodolgy with the board.
This board just gets better and better.

So with a nice size flash memory u could start your box with a key drive and lock up your computer when you leave it unattended.

  • Page Setup dialog can't be acknowledged

Apparently I am not able to set the paper size (US letter, A4..) from the Page Setup dialog in my main admin account after updating to 10.5.x (in any application using the standard dialog, e.g TextEdit)
I can change all values, click the "?" to get the help, but the "OK" button simple doesn't trigger any action. I get a short colour change both on "enter" and on clicking the button (indicating the the button was clicked), but the window stays open. Only the "Cancel" button closes it.
I tried to login into a second account on my Mac. There the dialog works fine. So I would guess it's a broken file/permission issue in my library. I tried to find the problematic preference file, but failed. Could someone point me in a good direction ?
    Thanks.... Martin

I have had the same problem on a brand new Mac Mini, with a pre-installed system 10.5. I could print OK so long as I didn't try and change page setup.
I actually discovered it when I started to install Boot Camp: the first thing it tells you to do is to print the instructions and when you click on that there´s a page setup dialogue. I could cancel it, or change the page percentage size, which produced weird numbers as described above and then freezes so I had to use "force quit". So that was the end of that idea, although I´ve since downloaded a pdf from Apple support.)
I also tried in Firefox, TextEdit, MSWord (my own copy, transferred via Migration Assistant from the G4), Preview, all wwith the same result.
I thought it had something to do with the system updates that immediately turned up when I started using the machine 3 days ago, so I have just done an archive and install, with no improvement. I´ve also tried the format-change trick described above, with no luck.
There is one thing that has worked though:
When I started using the machine it set me up an admin ID. When I migrated my previous stuff and settings from the G4 I took my ID from there, also with admin privileges. I was logged in with the latter when I discovered the page setup problem. I have just switched IDs, logged in with the one that´s "native" to the new machine -- and the page setup works just fine. Maybe it´s something to do with different permission settings for the 2 IDs, somewhere deep in one of the libraries, because after all page setup is part of the System, not a particular program or printer.
Does anyone from Apple read these posts. Is there someone somewhere out there who can explain what´s going on?
Good luck to everyone else with this problem
    Naomi

  • Setups for B2B to send Acknowledgement after receiving Rosettanet Invoice

    Hello B2B Gurus,
What we are trying to do is the remote trading partner is trying to send PIDX Invoice format through rosettanet protocol.
I want B2B to send the acknowledgement back to the remote trading partner after receiving the invoice payload.
Could you please help me in setting up the properties required to achieve this functionality.
    Thanks,
    Sunil

    Sunil,
Just create a channel in remote tp configuration at receiving side with ack mode as sync or async and add that channel in the agreement at receiving side.

  • Can you check my final setup? Two things not clear yet

    Hey guys,
Just when I thought I got it all figured out, something new (at least to me) pops up and raises more questions than answers. So I go on and search more and more and more and now finally I think i've got my setup allmost ready to order. Could you check it and help me out on the final insecurities? Thanx a bunch.
Oh and please, if you have a suggestions to change something I feel is allready o.k (so no questions)...make it a suggestion with enough info to let me make a choice in the matter. Give me a link to a Benchmarksite or e really good test. If the difference is minimal (seconds) on about 10 min. of final footage, than please don't send me on a chase again. My girlfriend would like me to bed with her at the same time now after a week or so
and    I want to order the damn.. stuff and start.

This is a big concern to some of us end users who want to put our money where it counts.
Is there a clear benchmark varifying your actual test results, which us newbies can view?
Referring to your post #10 above.
they are also end users not system builders and do not have the resources/access we have to multiple platforms, processors ram etc.
How can we really know for sure if we go on word of mouth only, one swears by Ford, one swears by Chevy.
    What should us newbies believe,
the feedback from end users who have the real world experience of the behaviour of their systems working regularly with large or complex projects, with strict timelines under time pressure, who cannot afford jerkiness nor delay of any kind, who must afford to save a lot of aggravation caused by less responsive systems, who cannot afford to be held back by hard disk failure or loss of data that took valuable time editing, who need lesser time requirements for regular backups, etc, who know what video editing involves in real practice,
or the feedback from system builders who have “the resources/access to multiple platforms, processors ram etc.” to run hardware tests, but who do not have the experience of high end video editing in practice?
Perhaps it is true that a video card running at PCIe-8x is not much slower than a video card running at PCIe-16x.
    I don't know for sure.
What will happen if things change, sooner than we thought, with new drivers and CS6 PP utilizing the full bandwidth, and end users are stuck with systems that don't have the required PCI-e lanes to accomodate more than a 16 x PCI-e nVidia card?
It appears to me that the i7-2600K is indeed a great processor, delivering great value for money, for the majority of general-purpose applications, but
how does it perform when one works with large or complex projects, and multitask, such as having DW do a complete validation on multiple DHTML files, including SSE, running a resize action in PS on a couple of thousand images, encoding large files in FL and PR doing an export to a complex long form BRD?
I was very tempted, and came very close, to buying an i7-2600K for myself, but after learning just how much high-end video editing can demand from a system, I became hesitant to buy the i7-2600K with its platform. I need to be sure that the system I buy has no limitations for the work I need to do with it.
If Intel had video editing in mind when designing the i7-2600K, it would not have had integrated graphics, which is of no use when we need a nVidia card.
Regardless of the fact that according to http://www.xbitlabs.com/articles/cpu/display/core-i7-2600k-990x.html the i7-2600K outperformed many pricier products for a higher-end LGA1366 platform (even the $1000 i7-990X Extreme Edition yielding significantly to Core i7-2600K within the majority of general-purpose applications, except during video processing and transcoding, final rendering and a few specific tasks, such as encryption and batch image processing), Intel still positioned this processor as a mid-level processor, for a reason.
Intel knew before release what this mid-level i7-2600K was capable of, therefore releasing it positioned as a mid-level processor, they did so having the architecture to follow up with a mid-level processor that will outperform the i7-2600K, within the same price category, else who would buy Intel's next mid-level processors?
I suspect that for those who are willing to hold out and wait just a bit longer, so they can put their money where it counts, Intel has a pleasant surprise coming soon, and that the new platform will not be evolutionary like it has been for years, but revolutionary with feature improvements from Sandy Bridge like Intel's tri-gate transistor technology, PCI Express 3.0 support and Graphics DirectX 11 and OpenCL support, a bigger graphics performance and bigger CPU performance boost compared to Sandy Bridge.
what makes you think you need a raid controller.... the vast majority of Adobe users do not need one or an 8 drive raid array..
Yes, for those who never need a hardware raid controller, using it for general-purpose applications, the 2600K and its P67 or Z68 platform is nice.
The OP did not specify whether or not he will need a hardware controller, wherefore I cared to post my post #7 above,
nor did he specify his source material, editing style, the nature of his timelines and the time pressure he is under with his projects (other than a mention in his original post of his girlfriend's time request), or how long he intends to use the system before upgrading to the next one.
and why i finally posted the big cup of zip it thread.. to clear out some mis-leading comments.

Quoting from your original post in A big cup of "zip it" or the definative final P67 vs X58 answer thread :
Now in all fairless of disclosure the drive benchmarks dropped from our previous tests on X58 which is odd, we are guessing the video card as its ramping up would take bandwidth from the controller even though its supposed to be running 8x.
    Scott
    ADK
Since you wrote that “the direct replacement for X58 is X79” (System build for CS5.5. Contemplating whether or not to wait for Q1/Q2 2012.), I am eager to learn which exact motherboard(s) was/were used when you ran those previous tests on X58?
Supposing the video card took bandwidth from the controller, even though its supposed to be running 8x, why do you think it would do that as it's ramping up?
Is there a clear benchmark varifying your actual test results, which us newbies can view?

My first thoughts were that 'bootcamp' was out of date...needed an upgrade to register windows 7. Since then I am once again met with the same problem... how can it not see the I have already have a paritioned drived ready to be used for installition, is there a way to fix this problem? I don't really want to pay out for 'i-parition' only to merge my 2 drives back into one and start again from scratch =/. Seems silly to do so...what are my options?

  • Setup of ALE Audit in SAP Receiver System

    Hello,
for a scenario JDBC -> XI -> IDoc,  I have to setup ALE Audit in the receiver SAP sytem.
I have followed the steps in the How-To-Guide (Handle acknowledgements for IDocs):
    https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/f6d2d790-0201-0010-9382-b50b499b3fbe
However I just want to have acknowledgements sent back to SAP XI for a specific type of IDoc (source coming from the database) and not all received IDocs as there are different sender systems sending IDocs (some of them via XI some of them directly).
Is there a way to configure ALE Audit in a way ALEAUDITs are sent just for specific sender systems / IDoc types. I want to avoid that the SAP XI system receives ALEAUDIT for all inbound IDocs.

    Hey,
This document describe how the handle audit the the sender and the receiver systems are SAP system, when one of the sides (sender/receiver) is not SAP system,
than the configuration become much more complex.
As of XI SP18, there are ways to control ALEAUD,
    for more information, read:

  • Acknowledgement - IDoc-File & File-IDoc scenario

    Hi All,
Acknowledgement is possible in case of asynchronous IDoc-XI-File scenario? If yes, how to setup?
Same as above question for File-XI-IDoc scenario.
In case of synchronous scenario, how to setup email with acknowledgement?
    Thanks a lot in advance.
    Sree

    Hi Rama,
While doing an IDOC -> XI -> File scenario, The Points to noted are:
    1. You don’t need a DT, MT or a message interface for the IDOC as it itself acts as the Message Interface.
    2. You import the IDOC and use the same in your mapping.
    3. In this configuration note that you don’t have a sender agreement as you don’t have a sender IDOC adapter.
If it is that you wanted to send an IDOC from XI (File to IDOC) , then in this case:
points 1 and 2 will remain, but the 3 will not. You will need a sender agreement for the file and a receiver agreement for the IDOC.
    IDOC -> File scenario ref:

    File -> IDOC ->
    /people/anish.abraham2/blog/2005/12/22/file-to-multiple-idocs-xslt-mapping
(It concentrates on XSLT mapping but also gives an idea about the configuration part. Do go thru that, it might help you.)
I hope I have answered your query.

  • How to receive acknowledgement from Vendor via SOAP adapter.

Hello Experts, my outbound scenerio is R3>PI->Vendor via the URL given by vendor. From PI i'm sending my POs via SOAP adapter and in the conversion parameters I choose the check box "Do not Use SOAP Envelope" My message reached the vendor. Now vendor sends back a functional acknowledgement indicating the message had been received and processed. Below is the entire XML file content.

Edited by: XISearch on Jan 10, 2011 3:05 PM

    >>> Can anyone let me know how to receive the above message? What setup do i need to do?
Solution: You need to create a synchronous scenario.
Might be at R3 side proxy  sender  and vendor side Reciever Soap
    Basically PROXY <------> SOAP
Map the proxy request message to soap(vendor) request message  as REQUEST MAPPING
    and
Map the SOAP (Vendor) response message to proxy response as RESPONSE MAPPING
and in the backend parse the response.
If you need more details, Please let us know.

  • How to send acknowledgement in HTTP_AAE single stack 7.31

    Hi
My scenario is HTTPs to ECC and we are also sending alert mails to support system using RequestResponseBean in sender HTTP_AAE channel.
Can anyone provide provide some info on how to send acknowledgement back to 3party(using https) ?
If normally it is not possible, can we do this using customized adapter modules?

    Hi,
Can anyone provide provide some info on how to send acknowledgement back to 3party(using https) ?
The sender needs to request the acknowledgement. Except the receiver interface is an IDoc, then you just need to setup a corresponding configuration to send back an ALEAUD IDoc.

  • How to perform the hardware setup without the CD?

In most of the support page I read, I am finding info about drivers and computer connectivity with the printer.  In many occasion, we can read a paragraph like this one:
Important: Set up the HP hardware before installing the software. If you have not already done so, find the hardware setup document for your printer before starting the following steps.
    Excerpt trom http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c02273853&tmp_task=setupCategory&cc=us&dlc=en&lc...
This is exactly what I am trying to achieve, but nowhere HP seems to be providing guidance about this.  At least that I can find.  Where can I find the bundle to download that will allow me to connect the prionter to the WIFI network?  Note that the automatic connection WPS generates an error on the printer.  My router is a bran new Linksys EA6350.
Please do not refer me to the driver download page, this is not what I am looking for.
    Thanks,

New plan...  I have done some reaserach and may have found a way!
We will put the computer on the printers network, and then print a report to get the printers IP address. At this point we can access the embedded web server (EWS) and run the wireless wizard from there. Once the printer is on the home network with the router we can put the computer back on the network and vuala the printer and computer will both be on your network.
To restore network defaults - since you have done this before I imagine you know how but for others who may view the post, here are the steps
    Press the Wireless button
    Select Wireless Settings
Scroll down and select Restore Network Defaults.  Press Yes to acknowledge
The radio will turn off (the blue LED will go out).  You may need to press the wireless button again to Enable Wireless
Put the computer on the printers network (temporary)
    1. Click on the Airport symbol on the top left side of the Mac screen
    2. Choose the network that look relative to the printer (might say HP setup or some variation of your printer name) - it may take a few minutes for it to appear
Print the wireless network test - wait a few minutes to ensure the and computer have established an adhoc connection otherwise the report will not have an IP address
Press the Scan button (it also the Wireless menu button)
    Select Wireless Settings
Navigate to Wireless test and select.
The Wireless Network Test prints, look for and note the IP address.
Open an Internet browser (Safari) and enter the IP address into the URL (address bar).
Click on the network tab, on the left click on wireless or 802.11.
At this point we are looking fore "start wizard" should be on the right hand side.
Once we have successful configured the printer for your network you can put your computer back on your own network.
Now you can add the printer to the System Preferences and print
