Setup Automatic Archival for multiple inboxes

I have several email accounts linked in Outlook 2010. I want to set up each user's folders to auto archive to a specified location on our public server and save it as a .pdf. When the user logs in on their machine and looks at the PDFMaker window, the
folders do not show up. Is there a way to make them able to see it as well?

How did you archive the folders as a .pdf file? Did you use any tools?
Currently there is no method in Outlook to archive to a .pdf file. If you are using a 3rd-party add-in to do it, contact the developer of it to get the specific assistance.

In order to create a Standard PO from requisition automatically, Requisition should be sourced to Contract Purchase agreement / Quotation / Global BPA.
Please create ASL, Sourcing Rule and Assign the sourcing rule in Assignment Set.
Also Set the Profile option "PO: Automatic Document Sourcing"

FEBP Missing automatically settlement for multiple customers

Running transaction <b>FEBP</b> (Update Account Statement/Check Deposit Transaction) the settlement of the account is not automatically carried out when the payment includes two or more customers. The documents is found and shown and it is possible to do the settlement manual upon the proposal by pushing the accept button. What can be the reason for the missing automatic settlement?

Please check have you activated automatic worklist for multiple customers in transaction OB55. Please also check is the 'Use worklists' flag set in transaction FB00 in 'Open item processing' tab.
If the above settings doesn't resolve the issue then the reported problem could be because of leading zeroes in customer numbers.
Reason for this is that worklist are saved in table TFAVW without leading zeros. But in postprocessing is called with leading zeros in field account (RF05A-AGKON).
I.e. in SAPLF40K FORM FILL_FTCLEAR AGKON is filled by this statement: ftclear-agkon = bseg-kunnr . Because there is Alpha conversion exit for BSEG-KUNNR field account is filled with leading zeroes for eg. 0000007693.
If AGKON in table ftclear is filled without leading zero worklists are considered in postprocessing.

Repetitive task setup - Any shortcuts for Multiple Slideshow Advance on click?

I have to create 20 pages that all have the same set up: 4 multi state objects, with 4 states each. On top of each MSO is a button that advances the slideshow to the next state. Are there any shortcuts, or any way to automate parts of the set up? Or do I have to create every state of every MSO from scratch?

I think some form of automation would be good as I have asked for something similar regarding snippets, but the dps team have not really answered this question directly,maybe something could be forth coming in the next release.

Automatic Upgrades for multiple users across a network

I did not finish typing the question because while I was typing it an idea came to me and it seems to be working(i guess you just cant back out of the new message box and have it go away ). I decided to have one executable located on the network that users can create a shortcut to. I also placed a copy of the Labview Runtime Engine 8.0 in the same location and instructions that the runtime engine must be installed prior to running the executable. This method allows multiple users to access the executable and allows me to make upgrades to the software, rebuild the executable, and when the user accesses his/her shortcut the upgrades are automatically reflected with no addition effort from the user. So far no problems, if anyone knows of any problems that I have not addressed with this method I would be more than happy to hear them

Setup Email Button for Multiple Emails

Is there a way to setup an email button or link within a form that with each click it sends to a different email address or when you click it allows you to pick an email address from a pre-approved list to send it to?

Open the "Properties" for the drop down field. On the "Options" tab enter the name in the "Item" option and the email address in the 'Export Value'. Now the value of the field will be the 'export value' for the selected item.
i assume you know how to write the code for creating an email.

You need a wifi router. All the ones that I know will handle at least 10 users. Just setup the router and connect it to the internet if you want.

Depends what kind of archive you've got in mind.
You could just create a page of links which point to your articles.
But the best option in my eyes is to forget Dreamweaver and set up something like a Wordpress site which will automatically archive for you.

Setup drop-box folder on external drive for multiple Macs

I have a classroom full of photography students who need to turn in 4GB folders with pictures in them so that the teacher can grade them. We've discussed various options for facilitating this, with the only feasible solution we can come up with being setting up an external 2TB MyBook and having the kids go up, plug in the firewire and xfer their folder to the drive (see requirements below for why this is the feasible solution). One snag with this is that I want to set it up so that when the drive mounts, it's mounted as a drop-box share to prevent plagiarism as well as kids deleting/messing with other kids' projects. The problem is that each computer has different profiles so when the drop-box is setup correctly on one computer, another computer is plugged in and the folders are wide open again. Since I obviously can't setup the permissions for each profile on each computer, what options do I have to set this up? I'm open to different ideas/different ways to accomplish this, but here are the requirements:
- Drop-box-like functionality. Students can basically "submit" work, but only the teacher can view the files.
- Preferably the device needs to be hardwired to the MBP using Firewire. USB is too slow and these are wireless laptops without benefit of having any ethernet jacks accessible to them. They are all connecting through an Airport Extreme and xferring 4GB files wirelessly is not an option due to class time restraints.
- This has to work across 30 laptops with multiple user profiles.
- If software is a suggestion, free and/or OSS is preferable since this problem will be mitigated next school year with implementation of iMacs and Xserves in this program.

I would love how to do this as well. I actually tried moving a .mbox file out of ~/Library/Mailboxes/Mail and onto an external hard drive. Then I created an alias of the .mbox file and put it back into ~/Library/Mailboxes/Mail. No luck.

Entry Channel setup for multiple company codes

I have a question regarding the entry channel setup (for external requirements in the Plan-Driven Procurement scenario)
In previous implementations, I 've created an entry channel below each company code (as the documentation says it should be). Now, for each entry channel, there was a EBP user assigned, which corresponded to an RFC entry in the backend system (I was connecting EBP to multiple backend systems)
Now, what should I do in the following scenario?:
1. SRM is only connected to one backend system
2. There are 50 company codes
Does that mean I have to create 50 users (for each channel) plus 50 RFC connections in the R/3 system (each with a different user in the backend system), pointing to the same SRM system?
I was thinking of creating an Org iD in the SRM structure at the top (which would be the entry channel), assign only ONE user to it and then fill attribute BUK with all the company codes. However, I don't know if this will work, because the external requirement process might need the company code defined in the "Function" tab... =/
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am also configuring the Entry channel (org unit) for multiple company codes.
I tried your logic of defining the entry channel outside company code level. Assigned the BUK attribute and extended attribute for plants and storage locations.
Also in my case the local Pur org and Pur group is defined outside the company code. Is it correct?
However the system fails to transfer the external requisition to SRM.
SLG1 displays following error message.
"No address found for partner function type Ship-To Address"
So if I move the Entry channel (org unit) under any one company code level then the external requisitions are transferred correctly to SRM.
But then the issue is the requirements are not transferred with the backend Pur Org and Pur grp. Instead they are transferred to the Pur Org and Pur grp of the company code under which the entry channel is defined.
Can you please share how do we need to define the entry channel, local pur org and pur grp for multiple company codes scenario, so that the ECC requisitions are transferred with the correct company code, pur org and pur grp to SRM?
Or do we need to define Entry channel for each company code and RFC user actually mapping the same backend system?
Please guide.

How do I setup a MIT-Magic Cookie for multiple users?

I need to be able to use TTauthority to allow mutliple users to have access to one main MIT-Magic Cookie random sequence. Currently, we have multiple cookies being created each time a user logs in. However, we cannot see each others processes. This is a huge drawback we are having with depending on Tooltalk. Any suggestions to setup ttauth to allow multiple users to share the same cookie?

It might work if you don't leave mails on the server.
In IMAP are the mails from the other accounts showing up at that accounts inbox on the server (webmail) If so you could as well redirect it on server level and not download and then upload.
What happen if you want to un-delete a message?
A solution would be send it to a local folder. That way it will be deleted on the mail server and you still have the opportunity to '''move''' it into one of the inboxes

Single content repository for multiple archiving objects?

We have three archiving objects that the business has basically set the same retention period for all of them (April 1: archive previous year (current-1), delete archived data from the year before (current-2)). Rather than have three separate repositories, would it be a good practice to place these three (and any other that meet the criteria) into the same repository making the management of these simpler (deleting from IXOS)?

COntent repository can be single or multiple. It depends on the clients requirements.
How ever you can recommend to your client based on the following best practices :\
(1) COntent repositories can be created and allocated based on the archive object.This will help the client to maintain the archive files and also use them at a later stage for retrieval/audit or any other purpose.
(2) Content repositories can also be created and allocated based on the retention time .
(3) Single content rep for multiple objects is technically possible but this is not a good approach.If this is done, then utmost care needs to be taken during the Archive file naming convention ( while archiving the data for a particular object) . Such a naming convention would reduce the hassels of getting the archived files mixing up. this will also help you to better manage the archive files of different objects in a single content rep.
DIfferent clients may use any of the approact based on their records management strategy.

Exchange setup for multiple domains

We are planning to deploy Exchange server 2013, We have two companies and would like to create Email box for both the companies with same name.
Example : [email protected], [email protected]
We would like to have separte email boxes for the both companies. Please suggest us accordingly.

That should be simple enough. Exchange can handle having multiple domains for sending / receiving and users can have multiple mailboxes configured in Outlook. The name field in Exchange doesn't need to be unique (the account name does obviously), so for
instance there's no issue having "Fred Bloggs" <[email protected]> and "Fred Bloggs" <[email protected]> both setup.
In a way the trickier part is setting it up in Outlook since different versions react differently. If you're using Outlook 2013 it should be quite straight forward. As you can see here
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee815819.aspx the manual setup is easy enough for multiple exchange mailboxes, though auto mapping should work as well. If you're in a network AD
environment (eg connecting using your local password), then realistically you'll want one mailbox to be primary which is associated to your network login, and then that login to have full access and send as permissions on the second mailbox.
You may also need to deploy a reg key change to enable saving sent items from the second mailbox into that mailboxes sent items folder rather then the primary mailboxes (assuming you want to keep messages two and from both domains separate and in their own
mailboxes). The reg key is listed here
