Setup Configuration Error : 5

Hello, I have this error when I install InDesign CS5.5.
I I try to change the permissions on the files, but it does not work.
Can you help me please!?

It fails during install with this error? Is this a downloaded installer or a DVD?When I double click on Setup Icon. It's a downloaded, but It worked before.
If it was downloaded, did you expand the archive? Many parts were included in the download? Yes
Are you logged in as administrator when you try to install? Yes
At this point, I would recommend running the clean tool: CS Cleaner Tool for installation problems | CCM, CS6, CS5.5, CS5, CS4, CS3, then run MSconfig from Start > Run... and turn off all non-essential startup programs and services, restart, logging in as administrator, and run the inistaller again. You can re-run MSconfig after to restore normal startup.
I tried. I have again the same message, and one more that says "Adobe InDesign is missing required files. Please reinstall. Missing Files : \Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\TypeSupport\...\CP1252.TXT

WRT54GS Setup/configuration error

Ive owned this wireless router for more than 2 years, and i recently re formatted my computer, and ever since i cannot get my router to install. It is a Linksys WRT54GS v.2.1 (came with v.2.2 software) and I get up to the point where the computer is configuring the router and (at 0%) i get the following error "Unable to Connect to the router. Check the cable connection from the computer to the router. Contact linksys technical support for further assistance.", could anyone help me with this problem? I've never ran into this problem before with this router, and i cannot figure out what the problem is, any help would be awesome.

Connect the computer directly to the router ....Connect the modem also to the router.....check the light status on the router .......

I cannot get past this error. I am running Sharepoint Foundation 2010 with Sp1. This is on a Windows Server 2008 R2 Server +Sp1.

I finally figured this out, The issue was that I had put in the Self Service Portal Computer Name and Service account into the Service Manager SQL as SysAdmin, once I removed it flew through just fine.

ERP 2005 IDES Installation UME Configuration Error

Hello All,
I am installing ERP 2005 SR2 .
At the step of UME Configuration it is stopped.
I restarted sapinst but no luck , again stoped sap with mmc and restarted the machine and started the sap and then started the sapinst but there was also no luck.

Note 848950/851251 may solve your problems.
If problem persists, then try copying the CD again to dump location and restart the installation , it appears that sapinst is not able to open jar file.

                           essbase
the component installation is done.
when doing the configuration, the step Set Up shared Services and Registry Database connection associated with database instance home:
two options here with radio button, the default is first one, both of them are gray, I can't select
connect to a previously configured Shared services database
perform first-time configuration of shared services database
I need to select the second one for first configuration. but I am not sure which step is error, server configuration error? anyohter setup is error. make me confused.

SMD Configuration Error - SSO - for PI 1.1 Ehp1

Hi All,
When I am running the Managed System Configuration wizard for PI 7.1 Ehp1 system I am getting an error in SSO configuration step. My Solution Manager is on SP21. It says "sap.com/com.sap.xi.mdtmdt".I have checked for this. In PI 7.1 Ehp1, I think it has been renamed to sap.com/com.sap.xi.mdt2**mdt. So it is throughing the error. Can I do this manually.
The SSO ticket Certificate <OU=J2EE,CN=SMP> has been successfully imported into ticket Keystore
The ticket ACL has been updated with : sys=SMP,000 iss=OU=J2EE,CN=SMP dn=OU=J2EE,CN=SMP
The Authentication template for component sap.com/tcmonitoringsysteminfo*monitoring has been set to ticket

I have one more question. In one of the host the SMD Agent is already installed on Java 1.4.2. I have installed PI 7.1 ehp1 on the same VM server (on different Host), So in PI the SAP JVM is of 5.0. When I try to do the managed system configuration, it is not completing the configuration. When I connect it to the SMD with sap JVVM 5.0, it is working fine.
Do I need to have 2 SMD agents on the same host as the java version is changed?

I resolve this issue changing the roles of the user what access the UME Backend...
In my case... SPML with role SPML_FULL_ACCESS.
Add the Role Administrator and run the step again.

Getting a side by side configuration error after installing obiee 10.1.3.4.

Hi, I have installed obiee 10.1.3.4.2 version over my windows 7 desktop. After installation, when tried with opening the admin tool, i'm getting a side by side configuration error. Please help what to do to overcome this

Go through the Doc id 1067138.1 at Metalink below is the extract.
The following procedure must be done by a UNIX administrator or by an Oracle BI Administrator with sufficient privileges.
To download Oracle BI installation files under UNIX:
   1. Log in as the user who is to run the Oracle BI processes.
   2. Insert the Oracle Business Intelligence infrastructure installation DVD.
   3. Change to the directory where the installation DVD is mounted (or change directory to the downloaded software).
   4. Download the Oracle BI files by using FTP to copy them to the desired server and directory.
      Note: Make sure to FTP all the files in binary mode, including license.xml.
   5. After the files are downloaded, check that the files in the top level directory, such as setup.sh, have execute permissions.
      execute the command: ls -la or ls -ltr
      Confirm that the files have permissions resembling these:

It looks like you're trying to deploy with the CR.NET merge modules for VS2003. You'll need to deploy the CR.NET merge modules for VS2005 instead.
You can find the merge modules for the various versions at this link on the BOBJ site:http://support.businessobjects.com/downloads/merge_modules.asp
Choose the correct version. If you're using the bundled edition of CR.NET that ships with VS2005 - CR.NET 2005, then click on the link for VS2005. If you're using CR XI Developer, or CR XI R2 Developer then click on the link for the version you're using.
The CR.NET 2005 merge modules have deployment instructions in the download.

OBA - Attention: configuration error

Hi All,
recetly we completed the OBA [R12.1.3] Installation. After this installation, we ran the Configuration tool, the setup stopped at 5%. and It thows an error as fallows:
Attention: configuration error
Action : Close all browser windows before resuming the Configuration Tool run. If the error persists at this step, review My Oracle Support Note 443668.1 for more information about how to troubleshoot the issue
We fallowed the Note 443668.1. As for the note everything is fine in our server.
Our environment is OBA [R12.1.3 64_bit] on OEL 5.5.
Please help me on this...thanks in advance....

How do I fix a Configuration Error on MacBook Pro?

I have a MacBook Pro 2.4 GHz Intel Core i5 with 8 gigs of memory. I was running CS6 and my video board went out. I got it fixed but lost all my data on my hard drive. So I tried installing cs6 from a disk image that I had saved and after entering the serial code I received that my license was revoked. That could be true since I was at another company when I purchased it. Now I'm trying out the TRIAL Adobe cloud solution and after installing and getting updates, when i clicked on the app I get a configuration error when trying to open the . Do I need to delete some library items that are conflicting when I tried to install CS6?

Configuration error when open admin tool in BIEE 11g client

I have installed BIEE 11g client in my laptop,the version is 11.1.6.2 ,it has show one error in the installation log :

I have tested on my local environment and can reproduce the issue, as
Vaishu00547 mentioned that the issue can be caused by the Execution Account you have configured in the Reporting Services Configuration Manager is not correct, Please update the Username and Password and restart the reporting services.
Please also find more details information about when to use the execution account, if possible,please also not specify this account:
This account is used under special circumstances when other sources of credentials are not available:
When the report server connects to a data source that does not require credentials. Examples of data sources that might not require credentials include XML documents and some client-side database applications.
When the report server connects to another server to retrieve external image files or other resources that are referenced in a report.
Execution Account (SSRS Native Mode)

I manage a TFS 2010 Server that makes heavy use of Reporting Services, and I have a user that reported the following error
when attempting to open a report in the Microsoft Visual Studio Report Viewer:

You can try to install "Microsoft Report Viewer 2010 Redistributable Package" on your server to check if it works for you.
For the web.config info, it's for web application. And I'd like to know how did you create the report, and whether the report is for a web app or reporting service. From the error message and report, seems it's not a TFS issue. If it's SSRS project
