Setup deskjet 3050A having trouble with the cord coming from the power adapter.
My deskjet 3050A power adapter has a black and white cord coming from it and ends with a a small black rubber and metal end. I can't figure out where this goes. My printer will not turn on anymore. It was working before I went in the hospital at the beginning of the month and I can't remember where this cord went to.

Looks like your printer has broken during your absence, should be nothing hanging out with that description. I can't physically see it therefore I can't say anything because this can be live and death. You need an electrical or throw the printer away and get a new one.

I'm having trouble with iTunes synching and accessing the iTunes store. When synching, the process tops at the back up stage, freezes and I can't close the iTunes window, need to ctrl alt del. When trying to access the store, the progress bar stops halfway. I've googled heaps and tried most of the standard answers - unistall, reinstall, etc, now looking for some help please.
This has only started a few weeks back, after working smoothly for the 2 years of owning the iPhone 3gs.
Any suggestions will be appreciated, it's getting realy frustrating.

Is there any error code when user access their mailbox on OWA. Please confirm if there is no results returned in EMS when you run Get-OWAVirtualDirectory cmdlet. Also check whether there is any Event Logs related to OWA in Exchange.
In IIS manager, make sure the OWA virtual directory is listed in the Default Web Site. In EMC, we can navigate to Server Configuration > Client Access, select server and turn to Outlook Web App tab. Then we can click Reset Virtual Directory in the right
Actions pane to reset OWA virtual directory.
Additionally, please restart IIS service by running iisreset /noforce from a Command Prompt window.

Having trouble calling my work voicemail from the iphone - it doesnt recognize the dtmf tones
i am having trouble calling my work voicemail frome the iphone - it does not recognize the DTMF tones from the dialpad. we have justgone to a new IP voice system at work
we use a remote dialling code to divert our office landlines to mobiles, we have had awful trouble with the iphones in doing this with the number stored as a contact, We also have trouble dialling the number direct from the keypad it still comes up with error and says the number has not been recognised.
I have managed to sort out how to remedy this for us on this end and i will give an example below, the 'p' represents a pause
(numbers changed for security)
original phonebook contact stored, please notice the pauses 'p' only the first single pause

the new number now stored in the phonebook with the extra pauses 'p'
01223495684pp*65p*4530p*01223456456p*07555456456# as you can see we dial a landline number and then give a pause for the next tone to cut in, then we enter the overall divert code, after this we enter the pin code followed by the landline number to divert and finally the mobile number that will be taking the calls and finishing off with hash.
all our other phones except the iphone will dial this number and work correctly with one pause at the beginning, I have now tried thios with two pauses at the beginning and one pause between each section and it now works fine,
This has cured our problem using the io5 iphones 4s. we could not dial these numbers with the iphones for nothing, all other phones work fine. When you have a bluetooth headset connected the problem is even worse.

If I understand you correctly, you want to synchronize your analog input and analog output that are started by a trigger on the analog input board. If you don't want to use the RTSI lines, your best bet is to export the AI Sample Clock and then read it in to the AO board. There is an example on ni.com called DAQmx - Synchronized AIAO Shared Clock. It appears to be having techincal issues so I have attached the example below. To export ai/sampleclock, use DAQmx Export Signal.vi after Get Terminal Name with Device Prefix.vi. Export Sample Clock to PFI3 (There are only connections between the sample clock and PCI3/4/8/9). Connect PFI3 on your AI board to PFI0 on your AO board (with a wire). Then change the source for the AO Timing.vi to Devx/PFI0. If you want to do triggering, stick the DAQmx Trigger.vi between the Timing property node and the DAQmx Start.vi on the AI task. I have shown how to do this in the modified version below. My remote for my Apple TV just stopped working and I have tried putting in a new battery, re-pairing the remote, resetting the device by unplugging it, and I checked the infared coming from the remote is working. The light just blinks at me 3 times what else can I try to fix it?
Have you tried unpairing the remote? You do this by pointing your remote at the Apple TV and holding the MENU and Left buttons down together for 6 seconds.

why if i want to listen to music and i'am not using headphones i don't hear the music coming from the mac?
that means that your mac still thinks the headphones are plugged in. Try inserting and unplugging the headphones from the jack several times and see if it sets the toggle switch back. If not, try sticking a toothpick or something sturdy and narrow in and see if you can manually flip the toggle switch. That method is a last resort, you do not want to break anything off inside the headphone jack.

I`m trying to install the new software the mac os X 10.0.3 and having trouble transfering all my files form the mac os 9.2.2 classic to my new system...Do i have to erase my hard drive to do a clean install???? Could I transfer my files to my home`s computer, instead of buying a portable smartdisk hard drive of 100 Gb, and then so i could transfer my fiels back to my mac without no trouble ????
I Hope anyone could answer to my post as soon as possible, ThanksHi, John. If you weren't having trouble with Mac OS 10.0.3, it would be a major surprise. OS X 10.0.x and 10.1.x were unusable beta versions and never should have been released, in the view of most people who ever tried to run them. It would be a severe trial of your patience and a waste of your time to install 10.0.3 on your Mac.
If you want to run OS X, buy OS X 10.2.x (Jaguar), 10.3.x (Panther) or the current version, 10.4 (Tiger). All are available at reasonable prices from AppleRescue. Tiger is also available from any Apple retailer. Carefully read the system requirements for whichever version you prefer, and be sure your computer meets them before buying. If your Powerbook only has a 10GB hard drive, install a larger one (at least 40GB is sensible, since the cost per gigabyte of smaller drives is now exorbitant compared with larger units) before bothering to install OS X.
It would be most advisable to copy everything on your current hard drive to an external FireWire hard drive, then reformat and erase the internal drive before installing OS X on it. Doing so insures that your data is all safe and that your internal drive is in tip-top condition when the new OS is installed. After performing the installation, you can copy the contents of the external drive back onto the internal drive. The external drive will then be available as backup space for the entire contents of the internal drive, including OS X, all your applications, and all your data.
While OS 9 is still installed on your hard drive, check to make sure your Powerbook's firmware is up to date. It will need to be brought up to date while running OS 9, before you install OS X 10.2 or higher. Here is the updater for your 500MHz Tibook:

Since the last security update (flash player version 11.7.700.169) I have been having trouble with flash player beating the daylights out of my processor. My OS is Windows XP. This only happens on some sites, not all. For example netflix and amazon are fine, but acorn and huffington post videos send the processor into overdrive. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions? Anyone else having trouble with their iPad dropping wifi about once a week since 6.0.1 update?
Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
• Launch Settings app

• In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

Once you are back to your original Operating System, check to see if you are experiencing the same issue. If not, then you may consider holding off on the Windows 10 update for a few weeks, until drivers can be updated.

Hi, i'm having trouble with syncing my iPod. (after the latest iTunes-update)
It's a classic, but I have no idea what generation... but it was bought in early 08, and have 80gb. Anyway, it has been working fine all the time, but by the latest iTunes-update, it has stopped working. (mac) Every time I try to connect it with my computer, iTunes says that "this iPod appears to be destroyed, try to restore" (I'm having iTunes in Norwegian, so not sure if this is the direct translation, but hopefully you'll get the picture) - and I try to do this, again and again, but nothing seems to work. I have tried to turn off the computer, put iPod in disc-mode, let the battery run out, give it a two-week break, and now I'm out of guesses on what to do. But no matter what I do it allways appear to have zero songs on it after I am done syncing, and I allways get the "try to restore"-message when i connect it again.
It's possible that it's just old age or something, but I really want to try everything first, as it seems to be all right otherways. It also works when I connect it with my friend's PC, but since she has ****** taste of music () it's not an option. I have a MacBook, also from 2008.
And just to clearify. I have an iPad2, and an old iPod nano (2006) and both works with my computer/iTunes.See:
