Setup Error message in Query Designer

Hi all,
I have built a BW IP query with an aggregate as infoprovidor. In order to make the query plannable I have to use all KF and Characteristic and set the correct filtervalues. I have executed this specific query many times in order to check if all rows/columns are filled ok and are plannable but the last time I executed the query the following error message popped up :
"Setup Error Failed to load resources from resource file. Please check your setup"
When I click OK the Query Designer shuts down. When I then start the Query Designer again and want to select my query the same error message appears so I cannot access my query anymore.
I am going to built a new one but like to know the probable cause of this error message as my query was consistent for sure.

Hi,
Inside the user exits or Badi's the warning messages will not work. We are having two options for displaying the messages.
1. Populate the warning message in the std message log.
(Or)
2. Use the Function Modules POPUP_TO_CONFIRM & POPUP_TO_INFORM and display the message.

Hello all,
Has anyone encountered this erro before while using query Designer. I am trying to drag an infoobject in the rows section and I get this STOP error in message section at the bottom.
Terminate: Activity failed; there is no back-end error log [A006(R9E)]
Diagnosis
An error occurred in the back end.
System Response
An error occurred in the back end for which there is no error message. You cannot continue to work.
Procedure
Exit the Query Designer and correct the error on the back end.
Then start the query designer again.
Procedure for System Administration

There may be some problems with the connectivity in the box which you have logged in or in the excel properties itself. Try to login again and see if the problem is resolved else contact the BASIS or admin.

Error when open query designer

Hi people when i try to open query designer on my dev system i have some message. In the query designer appears two STOP error that tell to me ther's a dump in system. On system on st22 the dump is this:

If you are getting the same problem while opening queries on other systems like Quality and Prod, then I think it must be your Frontend installation problem. 
Please re-install the Business Explorer. 
However if the problem is occuring only when you work in Development, then please take help from your BASIS Team. There must be some RFC setting issue which BASIS would be able to resolve with your help.

evarything is doing well.. i am to operate ECC and BI. i can navigate through all the screens
but the problem is i am not able to use query designer..even through query analyzer i am not able to navigate to query designer.
pls suggest me whether i have to do any modification after installing GUI
while executing rrmx in BI system it prompts me with status message as "please install excel as viewer"
the other thing i found is that applicaton server is working in past date..and i tried it by changing it to application server date.but still i face the same proble..

Error message in Report designer "Activate Default Theme: 0TRADESHOW"

Hi,
While working in Report Designer, I repeatedly get an error message saying "Activate Default Theme: 0TRADESHOW. See Note 1071338". After following the instructions and activating this theme, the problem still persists.
Anyone with a solution to this problem? We are running BI 7, package level 17.

Hi all,
I had the same issue and finally solved re-installing BC in BACKGROUND mode.
For unknown reason, my first istallation generate the a 0TRADESHOW entry with version D in table RSTHEMES.
Later attempts to re-install BC were not modifying this table.
Until I tryied Background Installation. It promped for overwriting current installation, I accepted and A version get generated.

Diagnosis
Currently, it cannot be guaranteed that SIDs and master data exists for all characteristic attributes for the DataStore object to be read.
There is a restriction on a navigation attribute of the listed characteristic in the query. This filters all characteristic values of the master-data bearing characteristic for which there is not yet master data out of the result.
For performance reasons, this filtering is unavoidable.

In case of doubt, find other restirctions directly on the characteristic values of the characteristics contained in the DataStore object.

Dear all SAP Gurus,
we've solved this problem and this is the solution:
The warning is triggered by the method CL_RSDRV_ODS_QUERY-PROCESS_SFC_WITH_ATR when the BExFlag of the InfoProvider is not set. Using DSOs for direct update there is no change to change the BExFlag. As a result queries based on a DSO for direct update always throw the above mentioned warning when filter-characteristics are attributes.

I keep getting an error when I open up query designer and hit on open query. the error is bexopensaveservices -get nodes:RFC exception. any ideas on how to fix? Basis says my RFC connections are fine

We are facing the same issue for Query Designer .When opening a query, we get the following error :"Terminate:Unexpected Error:BExOpenSaveServices - GetNodes:RFC Exception".
As usual, Basis folks say, RFC connections are fine.
Not sure of the main problem.Can any one tell me , whats the solution for the same.
FYI, I have SAP_ALL authorizations and I think, for my user id , authorization is not a problem.

Setup Error message prevents installation

When I try to install Indesign I get the error message similar to : Minimum Requirements not met: Windows XP server pack 3 or Vista service pack 1 must be installed for setup to continue.
However- I have Vista service pack 1 installed, this is a very frustrating limitation, and I would like to find a way to solve this.

Are you able to simply ignore and proceed? I got a similar message installing on my XP SP2 system and it runs fine.
Not sure about vista, but in XP if you right click on My Computer (just Computer in Vista, I believe), and select Properties, the General tab lists the service pack level.

Setup error message, suggestions welcomed!

I installed and unstalled Digital Editions. Then bought a new Sony eReader, and went to
Adobe to again install DE. At the end of the setup I get the following error message: This installer require administrative access, aborting. Now the software doesn't work right, no surprise I guess.
I 'live chatted' with Adobe and asked them to toss me from their database, but the rep asked that I try the ADE forum to see if anyone has see this problem. I think the uninstall wiped the program but I'm still being partially recognized when trying to download it again from Adobe. I need HELP in capital letters

Thanks for your response. The problem was so simple but I didn't know it at the time. An Adobe Chat Line person told me to open ADE, then do the 'CtrlShiftD' to deactivate, then then uninstall. Then I did a new clean reinstall. FINALLY (sigh) ADE is working properly. I was able to successfully download two ePub books from my local library to my new Sony ER350. Again I do thank you for taking time to consider my problem!

Setup error message with 4.1.4e update

I have a Tungsten T3 Palm. In the process of reinstalling my software using the download, "Palm Desktop 4.1.4e and HotSync Manager (Windows)"; during the install an error message states"unable to complete setup because unable to connect to internet,", but the install completes with this error in notepad, "Dll Unloaded. HSManager is Closed. InstallerNotify dll installed successfully.Error in loading the library."
I don't know what the problem is as my internet connection is fine and I can only assume the download is not corrupt. Could someone please help me, as I have lost all my info in my computer and it remains on my Palm but I am unable to sync it back onto my computer...

Hi, and welcome to the Palm Support Community.
Suggest you try a "clean uninstall" of Palm Desktop, and try reinstalling from the download. Instructions in this thread.

NB200 Setup Error Message

Hello, i have a nb200 that i just got... as i turn on the notebook, i get an error message saying " THE SYSTEM IS NOT FULLY INSTALLED. PLEASE RUN SETUP AGAIN" i have tried to restart it and remove and reinsall the battery but nothing works... can someone please help.

Try running Recovery from the HDD.
I think you hold the Zero key down during Power-On, or choose Recovery from the Vista startup menu (Press F8 before Windows boots).

Hi,I contacted the support centre. It's frustrated to know that this kind of problems happened very often because of their software glitch. I need to download a MDMyClound desktop app which they never mentioned on their instructions. Even though, it still takes a few tries by restarting my cloud again.But the good thing is, it works now even I can never finish the setup process.Thanks for your help.

How to setup error message in JSP if no data or page found

I want to show users some error message after user clicks on a link and no page or data is found.
How do I show users to a valid error message if there is no data exists after they click on a link?

Add the following line at the top of your jsp

Then, write a error.jsp in whichever fashion u want.

Error in formula(query designer)

Hi guys,
I have a formula in query designer.Its showing wrong value.Cannot understand why?
Formula:
(-1) * (Actual.present month < Actual previous month) + 1 * ( Actual present month >= Actual previous month )
Actual present month and Actual previous month both are selections and are also shown in query.Eevnthough,Actual Present month is equal to Actual previous month,result is showing -1.
I checked Sign settings in Formula properties but they have right settings for 'Keep +/- sign' as it is chosen.Exception aggregation is chosen as Total.I tested by changing it to standard aggregation but its the same.
Is there any setting I need to change.

Thanks for your replies.This is existing in our Production query and for this month,it started showing wrong value...for febraury,actual month value is equal to actual previous month(January)..so it should show 1 but its showing -1. so we noticed.I havent changed anything to log out and log in and check.Also,the result should be 1,-1...so I cannot use max funtion as mentioned by Jaya.
Any different ideas of achieving this are welcome.
