Hi,
After inserting the CD get into the install folder. There you can find setup.exe
There are two setup.exe files but the one under install\setup.exe will work. If nothing like that in your CD/Drive once again download.
To clarify the right setup.exe file click both the files in different folder.

Raaj

i download this latest itunes but i cant install it on my laptop?  everytime i run it.message appear it that "itunesetup.exe is not valid win32 application?? how can i solve it

That generally indicates that the installer is getting damaged during the download.

    Hi,
When i try to execute nQUDMLExec.exe(which is used to merge RPDs) in windows its throwing a error as that is not a valid win32 application.

Do i need to set any specific env variables for this?
    Thanks,

Looks like it might be a permissions issue. When you are at the command line, in a terminal window, what are the values of the environment variables ORACLE_HOME and ORACLE_SID?

    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

If you're running Windows try going to Start | Run and type in (w/o quotes) "%temp%".
That should open the temp directory where the software may be trying to install to. If the folder isn't empty delete it's contents and try again.

  • Setup.exe is not a valid Win32 application

    Hi,
I have downloaded the Database trial 92021Win64_Disk1 and I unpacked the archive using WinRar. When i doubleclick on the setup file I get the following message:Setup.exe is not a valid Win32 application.
What am I doing wrong? I am using WindowsXP Pro. Does this archive has to be burned on a CD in order for the install to work?
    Thanks!

Thanks for the reply. It is my mistake to assume that windows 2003 server (enterprise edition) is a 64-bit OS. May be it is some other version. Don't forget Microsoft has different versions of windows 2003 server, One of them could be a 64 bit OS. I found out, Installing Oracle 2000 server edition and applying the patch for windows 2003 server as oracle recommended will do the trick. Looks good so far (everything went fine).
    Thanks everyone

  • HT1926 I followed the troubleshoot for iTunes setup.exe is not a valid win32 app; even uninstalled QTime; reinstalled QT; then tried itunes ; no success any ideas? Windows IE8 version on PC

I followed the troubleshoot for iTunes and get message the iTunes setup.exe is not a valid Win32 application. I remove QuickTime and reinstalled QT, then tried iTunes install with no success. Any ideas?

Perhaps try downloading and saving a copy of the installer to a different (32-bit) PC. Copy the iTunesSetup.exe installer to an external hard-drive, or a large-enough thumb drive or burn it to a CD-R. Carry the installer back to your PC, copy the installer to your hard drive. (Don't run the install from the ExHD, thumb or CD-R.) Start the install by doubleclicking the iTunesSetup.exe file.

  • When trying to download QuickTimeInstaller.exe, I get an error message that it is not a Win32 application. Is there anyone that can help? Thank you.

While tring to download QuickTimeInstaller.exe, I get an error message that it is not a Win32 application. I do not know what that means. I am running Vista and Service Pack 2 is installed. I am trying to look at a math tutorial on CD that came with the textbook.
Thank you for any help or assistance.

It suggests the installer is getting damaged during the download.
I'd first try downloading an installer from the Apple website using a different web browser:
    http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/
If you use Firefox instead of IE for the download (or vice versa), do you get a working installer?

  • Setup.exe does not wait until the installation is done

    Hi,
I downloaded ODAC 10.2.0.2.21 from here:
    http://download.oracle.com/otn/other/ole-oo4o/ODAC1020221.exe
And after extracting all files, I use this command on cmd:
setup.exe -silent -noconsole -waitforcompletion -force -responsefile <Path>
Furthermore, I have BOOTSTRAP=FALSE on oraparam.ini but setup.exe does not wait until the installation is done.
I only want a way to wait for the installation to complete...
    Cheers,

In the course of your troubleshooting to date have you worked through the following document?
iTunes: Windows reports that "iTunesSetup.exe is not a valid Win32 application"

  • Itunes wont open cause its not a win32 application? it opened yesterday help

itunes wont open cause its not a win32 application? it opened yesterday and now it wont and my friend plugged her iphone in and now it wont work?

Doublechecking. When you did the complete uninstall, were you using the following document as a guide?
Removing and reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows Vista or Windows 7
(If damaged program files are involved here, a standard install might not remove them, and a reinstall might not then replace them. So the Verify iTunes and related components are completely uninstalled section is an important step.)

  • Why all of a sudden is everything I try to download saying it is not a Win32 application?

After Firefox updated the other day my pages started stopping and saying a Script had stopped running. Then I tried to download something and couldn't. It acted like it did but it wasn't in the folder, and if I clicked on it in the Download window it did nothing. I went back to an older version of Firefox and now I can download but when I click on it and tell it to RUN the application, I get a warning window that says the application is not a Win32 application. I even tried to download Adobe Flash and it said the same thing.

I'm a bit unclear on what you're seeing with regard to these ads. Are you seeing ads that are normal for the page in question, or are you seeing ads where there shouldn't be any?
Regarding the browser crashes, that's not normal. It could be a result of visiting a malicious page. There is a long-standing bug where a maliciously-crafted (or just plain corrupt) image file can cause Safari on iOS to crash. It does nothing more than that, though, so I'd be surprised if you see that sort of thing with any regularity. If you're seeing it on more than one particular page, this is unlikely to be the cause.
Beyond that, you probably just have something wrong with the system on your iPad. First, try resetting your device. Press and hold both the home button and the sleep/wake button for about 10 seconds, until the screen turns off. Ignore the slider that will appear. Release the buttons, then press and hold the sleep/wake button until the Apple logo appears. This is the equivalent of a reboot, and should not affect your data or apps.
If that doesn't help, try restoring your device from backups, and if that doesn't help, restore it to factory settings (ie, do not restore a backup). See:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1414
If none of that helps, the issue is caused by some kind of hardware problem, and the device will need to be repaired or (more likely) replaced.
